11. First Love

Welcome to track #11 of my first love. Going past the introduction now, well, I believe that one of the very important things that you need to really decide, OK, it's that you're going to walk in love. Love is humble. Love is not arrogance and love, when you are humble, you will learn. You will learn many good things. Amen. Now stand up, stand up, stand up, everybody for a minute. Is it time for a break? Huh. No, not yet. OK, First love is the love you have for God when you are young. So we are now talking about first love. First love, Amen is the love, the love that you have when you are younger. Turn with middle revelations. Chapter 2, Verse One unto the Angel of the Church of Ephesus write these things. Sayeth he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand. Amen. What are the seven stars? And walketh in the midst of the 7 golden candlesticks. Amen. Now Bible tells us that the seven stars are the seven messengers are the pastors. So you are a star. You will shine forever when you are a pastor. Unlike unlike Michael Jackson who can only shine for 30 years or 20 years and is gone, isn't it? Isn't it? Yeah, but when you are a star for God, you're going to twinkle forever. So through eternity you'll be shining. Wow. Is it not supercalifragilisticexpialidocious? Are you there? Yeah. And also another powerful thing is that when you are a pastor, you are in God's hand like this. Wow, he's you are right in his hand, you see, but those of you who are not pastors, you are on the table. You are on the table or on the floor. How many realize that when you are in his hand is a better place to be in his hand? Yeah. So that is why you must give yourself to be placed right in his hand. He must be one of the seven stars in the hand of the Lord that is protected. And if you are going to attack any of those seven stars, you are going to strike the hand of Jesus. And Jesus will say pardon, pardon. If he will not get near him, he will not get near him. Even Adolf Hitler, he couldn't get easily near him. He was guarded by the more countries he conquered. He realized that he was more hated at first. He used to ride in an open car convoy, you know, But as when he invaded Czechoslovakia, Zona, the hatred started to rise and he had more hatred review from his own people. So he was guarded by a battalion of soldiers and to the teeth special Secret Service, different types of people were guarding him. Yeah, how much more? Jesus. And you are in his hand, Hitler. Yeah, and the Russians were coming from the Berlin was the centre of Germany, the centre of the war. They came from here. The Germans were coming from down as if the Americans were coming from down, the British were coming from West. And then the Russians, they came to meet in Berlin. They divided Berlin into two the Berlin war. Do you understand the and Hitler was Friday in his banker. He did entitled the law and he killed himself. So the security of a certain level, it demonstrates that Charlie is a high level. So when you are a pastor and even Jesus, you have to cross through so many angels and you are nowhere, not even in the house or on the table or in the wardrobe, but you are in his hand, then you are so precious. That's why I say pastors are the most important people in Ghana. The president and all these ministers of they are the least important people you can find in Ghana as far as eternity and heaven is concerned. Yeah, they have their place. We give them their respect. But the most important people in the country are pastors. They are in the hands of Jesus, who walketh in the midst of the 7 golden candlesticks. I know thy wepts, and thy labor, thy patience, How thou canst not bear them which are evil, and has tried them, which say they are apostles and are not. And I found them liars, very good, and have bold, and has patience. And for my namesake has labored and has not fainted. Nevertheless, I have somewhat against thee because thou has left thy first love. Amen. They love God, but they have left their first love. Remember from whence thou art fallen and repent. Do the 1st works, or else I will come unto thee quickly, and I will remove by Candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. Amen. So you can see here that having first what we call first love, it's a very important thing when you don't have a Bible, calls you fallen. He said, Remember from whence thou hath fallen. He hadn't fallen, He had patience, he had days, he had perseveres, He had so many things, but he was still considered as fallen by God because of only one thing that he didn't have, and that was first love. He didn't have something called first love. Amen. Are you there? So first love is a very, very, very important thing, Amen. And 1st love is the love that you have when you are younger. Now, when we talk about first love, you know there's a lot of allusion too, and rightly so. Your first boyfriend, your first girlfriend, your first wife, your first husband, your first lover, your first friend, your first intimate person, your first one. Now, there are a lot of people who do not reveal the first one. They don't reveal it. They, they, they, they, they say he was the first one, but he was not the first one. He was not the first one. Don't say he was the first one because he was not the first one. Now, unless you're a very strange person, your first love will be when you are younger. The first time you smooch somebody. Your first time you were kissed. Your first marriage, it is the love that you have when you are young. So first love, one of the main characteristics about it is the thing that you do when you are young. But as we get deeper into it, that's why I'm even wondering whether you are the right people for me to talk about this subject, because maybe I should, I shouldn't talk to you because you are children. I think. I think so. OK, I'll talk about it in a way. In a way, go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying that said the Lord, I remember thee and the kindness of thy youth and the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness in a land that was not soon. God is crying through the the prophet Jeremiah chapter 2 verse 2 and he says I remember, I remember the kindness of thy youth. Amen. There are things you do when you are young, when you are old, you wouldn't do it. You wouldn't do it. You see, why is she come and sing that song? What you were singing yesterday. Now is now is the time is that you see when we're singing that song and I I saw you being both moving. As I said, you see, there are some things you do when you're if I was having a camp with the pastors from the Kodesh or pastors from the other, but you see them looking at the people like that. No, But you know, I thought by all means it is in heaven because something that is as nice as that, it's not in heaven. But as I've grown older, I just look at the other Why should something like this be in heaven? I don't know. I said this thing. I mean, how can something like this be in heaven? I mean, how it's something that animals do, what animals are doing. How can you take this to heaven? No, no. I and I read the book. A certain guy. He was. He he died and then he went to heaven. I think the book is called Something Different guys. This guy went to heaven. He said that look, when he went up and he looked at himself, he was shocked. Do you know what he saw? And he looked at his body and all those parts were gone. Hey, now is the time. Now you have the chance. The Lord is calling you. Please don't let it slip by you. Yeah. And it's the it's the kind of love that you have when you are young. You have a mind and a kind of love that will only come in your youthful days. Yeah. When a person is married and is 20 years old and the person is marrying and he's 60 years old or 50 or even 40, it's a different kind of marriage. Yeah. There are certain things that will not even occur to you. Yeah. So when God talks about your first love, he's talking about how you used to love when you were just a young person. It's because many of you are full of fire. Brothers, Brothers, don't you feel certain things? Now, whether you want to accept it or not, those feelings will not be there in some years. They will not be there. Turn to Ecclesiastes. Have you found in chapter 12? Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth. You see, God wants people to remember Him when they are young. Yeah, Amen. Because being young has certain features. You see, first love is is the love that you have when you are young. A young person with a man and a woman when you are young. I love my wife, but the way I love my wife is different from the way I love her. When I was dreaming in medical school, I was having dreams and ideas and imaginations galore. I was using anointing to control my imaginations in the days of thy youth, you see. So God wants the love of a young person, Yes. And God wants the love of a young person. When the person is also old, you don't understand it. In other words, when you are even old, he wants you to love him with the love of a young person. Yes. So how much more when you are young and you love God, you love the world with the love of a young person. And then you don't love God, but you either give the love of a young man or the love of a young girl. You give that love to the world because we see when you get older, your love for the world will change from sex and drugs and alcohol and those kind of things. It will change to money. Yeah. Your love, your the love, your passions will change. You understand? So God wants a young person to love him, and he enjoys how it is when young people are flowing. And even when people are old, he gets angry with them and says that the way you treat me now, you've left how you used to treat me when you were young. Like the young person's kind of laugh. I don't get it from you. Even me as a pastor, the feeling that I get from the young people is different from the feeling that I get from the mature whom in whom evil days have come already. That's why I rather camp to for the last four years, five years. I rather do camp with Alois and younger people. Yes, all those camps, you hear if you, those of you, when you get your makanae, how many are planning to get a makanae? Yeah, when you get your makanae, you will find out that most of those camps which were done, you get it. They were all with very young people. I mean, not very young, but young people, mostly, not married, not whatever. I mean, sometimes just a few people. That's why there was a certain flow, because even me, I prefer the love of a young person to the love of a mature person in whom evil days have come. A lot of evil days have come to a person's life and the person has become a big kind of quieter, sour and bitter, and I mean developed immunity to so many things. When the evil while the evil days come not, and the years draw nigh. When thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them. Yeah, but a young man will rise up and say, Aha, pleasure, happiness, joy, a good time, chalet. I need somewhere to go. I want to go out. I want to have a good time. I want a groove before the law. Yes. One day I went to a certain hotel and we were sitting by the pool. Hello. And they were. What are they cooking? Is it beans or what? Are you listening to me? Yes. What was I telling you? I went to a certain hotel and then there was a certain band playing and I was sitting by a certain pool, swimming pool, and I was sitting there and then I saw the band was down there and then they were playing some music from this old in time music, old music they were playing. And that's why God said I missed that thing. The love of a young person. Yeah, because I know you are patient labor. You saw what labor endurance down as not fainted. You hate evil at all those things. But what I miss, it's the love of a young person. Yeah, I I miss that feeling. Even though you don't like evil and, you know, righteous, you are now righteous. You don't have even feelings, so you can't even say, Yeah. So you see, even me, you know, I'll prepare the company of young, even my opposite people that you have to be young. Even another one. Once sister came to work at the crusade. When she came from the crusade one, she said, hey, I realized that I have to be a young person. Yeah. I have to change my whole modus operandi in order to be able to flow here. Yeah. Because, see, there are some places for young people to do. Yeah. And so God like say you are righteous and all these you don't like evil. When somebody preaches the wrong thing, you can find it in the scriptures and all those things are great. I miss that thing. Anything you, you see what you will be, you will do as a young person as we are going, I'm going to show you the manifestations of first love. When somebody has first love, certain things that they do. Yeah. Your first boyfriend. You. You, you had him when you were young. Your first girlfriend. Were you not young? If you were young, say I was young. When you had dreamy eyes, dreamy eyes, were you not young? Now you don't have dreamy eyes. You may have weary eyes. Yeah, I'm talking about the, the, the, the, the love of a young person. The first love is the love of a young person. And God wants people with first love, young lovers, young lovers, so that he can train them, so that he can send them, so that he can use them. But the young lovers will be ready to do so many things. Is it why their certain brother went for a certain interaction with his young wife when he came? Maybe he couldn't control himself and he was holding the microphone, he said. You see, this is a pastor, but he was not more sure whether he was an aerobic teacher or acrobatic gymnastics are being expected Olympic gymnasts. I you see there is a certain energy, now is the time for that energy. Do you agree that now is the time for that energy? Now you have the time. Let it slip by you. You must take it by the hand. Are you going to give him your youngness, your young things, your computers, your Internet and your what activities and your laptops and any young thing that you have around you? Some of us old ones, we don't even know how to use computers. In the days when you must say I have no pleasure, no pleasure. How many would like sometimes of pleasure, young boys and girls? How many would like some? Would you like to be on the beach? How many can imagine yourself with your beautiful bride or your handsome husband, your darling on the beach drinking Coca-Cola with ice ice. Now, is he an elderly person? He will ask you, where is the beach at? Where is that beach? How do you get there? It's very hot. How far is it? How many hours? What do they do there? So when we when you lie down over there, what is going to happen? Yeah. Oh, yeah. First love is the love you have when you are young, young. Oh, pleasure, you know there is still pleasure in you. Pleasure bluing of time. Hey, God wants time blowers to work for him while the sun or the light or the moon or the stars be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain. That means that the world is not getting darker. You have bright eyes for the future. Many years ago, Hosa said, there were bright eyes for the future. It is this vest. The world is not getting darker. You look good. Who are you? God wants when you can see everything in the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble and the strong men shall bound themselves in the grinder seas. Because there are few grinders at the teeth, you start grinding the food. You stop chewing. Because there are few, you stop biting. So they have to mash a nice food that you used to like cracking. They have to mash it into a pudding, a can of a paste for you, and give it like that. And you start to eat like a baby because the grinders are now few. And those that look out of the windows be darkened, and the door shall be shut in the street. And the sound of grinding is low. And he shall rise at the voice of the bed, and all the daughters of music shall be brought low. It's not less sound of a bed. You are awake because you sleep most of the time. So you can't sleep in just afternoon. You sleep. Please sleep the bed. Then you are awake because you are not that. You are not a young person who is tired, tired and sleep like a dog. When you sleep, how many enjoy your sleep? How many of you have been dying whilst you sleep? When you sleep, you die in the bed and then you wake up. Some of us. When we sleep there we are as if we are dead. OK. Or the next one, verse 5. And also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, as you are afraid of death all the time. See when you are young you don't fear death. Have you ever wondered what soldiers think about when they are going? They are mostly very young people. Yeah, they are 18/19/2021. They don't think so much of death. Yeah. And when you get older and you have even children, you look into the eyes of your child as you are going away. Something occurs to you that never occurred to you before. Means that in my real life, I didn't have children. I would even be freer. I just go away. And if you die, just gone out of the world. The other day I was in Malaysia. I was with their pastor. He was taking me to the airport and I was asking, he's not married, 40, almost 50. I said leave myself. No, no, not at all. He said As for me, I just work for God when I'm dead, He said I don't have any responsibility in the world, I have nothing to do except to work for God. I don't have any child. I don't have any house. I don't have anything. When I'm dead, that's it. I don't have to buy property. I don't have to own. I don't need anything. I just work for God. Yeah, when I'm gone, I'm gone. Yeah, but when you have, you will not like to die. Dying is hard because when you look at the children, you look and say what's going to happen to this one? How this one be lying? Most people just think of that. They don't think of their husband or no one say you, you will be OK, you will survive and you will find some girl in the chair. Just now. Just now you say you are in last six months. This is that they don't believe us at all. They always think we are interested in somebody. Forgive. But when you have them, you, you will be, you will be thinking, yeah, you'll be afraid of that which is high. And fear shall be in the way. The almond tree shall flourish fear and the grass of us shall be abandoned. But look at how you are standing since we started in this this morning. It's not afternoon. Oh, afternoon now. Oh, it's not your afternoon. But I see you have energy. And I called Chris to come and dancing just now. You start as if you just woke up, as if you have just eaten. But a time will come when a grass it's too happy. It's too happy. That's why people remember their first love was what you used to do. And when people are married or something, they marry some other person and so on. What you did, what you were doing, what you were prepared to do. I realize that I should do what? What? Oh no, no, no, I'm tired. How? I'm not a small boy or small girl. I cannot be jumping all over the place and all that. What are you talking about? And desire shall fail, because desire shall fail, because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the street, desire shall fail. In the hospital there are many sicknesses they diagnose, but this is the only one diagnosed by Solomon. We have heart failure. Have you heard of heart failure? Kidney failure, Liver failure? What other failure is that? Brain failure. Failure of every place. But now we have desire failure. Failure is desire has failed. It's finished and desire failure is one of the biggest problems in the world. That's why Viagra is the most sold drug because desire, it's just not there. Look at that. Why so God wants the love of young people. How many young people will will give your youngness to God? God, once I'm young, you know, these are when I preach about business. I'm so glad I started serving the law from the time I was young. Oh yeah, I've been serving him from a long time when I was young. 16171819 And I like music. I like this. There's that blooming time, pleasure. There's that, all those years, a second flow. That is what the Lord is looking for. So those of you who are planning to come and see the Lord after your six year PhD and your four year masters and your second MBA and all that, and after you finish securing yourselves, by which time you'll be around, your hair will be even getting finished. When they suggest certain things to you, there will be no desire for it. What do you mean? You see, I've built so many chairs. When you suggest setting building for that, I don't have desire for it. It's true. I realized that my experience has made my desire go down. When you say, can we do this or do this, or you say write a book, say, hey, do you know what it is to write a book? Your desire goes down as you become more experienced. It's true. You don't have a desire for the thing, so God wants you fresh. Fresh. I mean, I go to seven. Fresh. Good, good, good. OK, sit down. Blessed Jesus, you are our first love. There is no other love that can come in. Blessed Jesus, it is your holy love. It is your perfect love that draws us to you. There's no other love that we desire. There's no greater love that we could ever know. Blessed Jesus, you are our first love. There is no other love that can compare. Blessed Jesus, you are up as love. There is no other love that can come in. Blessed Jesus. You are right past love. There is no other love that can come back. Blessed Jesus, it is your holy love. It is your perfect life that leads us to you. Blessed Jesus, you are our fast love. There is no other love that can come. And blessed Jesus, it is your holy life. It is your perfect life that draws us to you. Blessed Jesus, you are rappers. Love. There is no other love that can come. Blessed Jesus, it is your holy dawn. It is your perfect love that leads us to. I tell you, if God forbid, and God knows if I was God forbid, my wife was to be dead and I would have to marry again. It can never be like. My first laugh, because my when I say my first laugh, I mean the laugh that I had or how I was when I was a young person. It can never be like that. I can love somebody, but I can never be the laugh of a young person. I'm not young anymore. I'll not be. I'm not young. I'm not as I used to be 2020 something years ago when I entered a relationship 24 years ago and the way the feelings that was happened. I can't even remember the places I was and certain feelings that I was happening at those times. Certain dreams, inspirations, directions, feelings, prayers. No, when we say Jesus, you are my first love is my love. I have as a young person, a young person you see, first love. Don't only think of #1 #2 #3 #4 It's like the first person I ever liked. Is it? It will be if you are. You are having an orderly sequence of lovers. Number one, this number two, this number three, this number four. Sometimes it even the dead person that you love. The first one was an accident. The second one was by force. Then the third person you love the person you see. So maybe the dead person will be the first person that you love. But there is something we call first love. I'm talking about first love. And the first love is the love of a young person. Yeah, one of the characters has several, is a young person's kind of love a gang lover when you see them. When I was coming on the aeroplane at Amsterdam, I was behind some two young lovers. The guy was standing there. I was just standing in front of him. He was talking to the he was talking to the guy that he put his hand inside the back of her trousers and he was massaging her bottom in front of your ass, standing in a queue. It was like he could not control himself. But they want to can say, hey, what does this guy do? But this same person, when he grows up, do you see when he grows up and he sees John Wesley when he was 80 something years old, before he died, he saw a beautiful young lady. What is the use of such a a person like that? He's obnoxious. He's a problem. How much more the weight of such a young person are you there? So you don't only think of #1 number one is also there. That's only one characteristic. That is the love of a young person. And God enjoys even me, a human being. I enjoy the love of young people and the flow of the young people and the way they are and their belief. They they look at your eye with a different eye than those who have no pleasure in them. It is true. And when you get older now, you don't tolerate evil because you know evil. You know what it has. I don't tolerate evil. I have patience. I have labeled and that was even labeled, Yes. But what is missing is that first love, the love of a young person, flow. That flow is not there. And many of my late pastors, they don't have first love anymore. I used to take them to the mountains to wear and pray with them. I passed this. I lay past them, dream with them and now you see them dying. Big Mamas and Dadas coming deliver with the the life of issues problems. When you say this. And I had a meeting and I was serving, saying we have to do this.
