10. The Unwilling Missionary

Welcome to track #10 of the bag of seeds. Who knows where the road will lead? See, the world can change forever so quickly. It's an age of uncertainty. Yes it is. And sometimes when you call on the Lord, sometimes he can see so far away. But I sent away. You must believe. Wait, He won't forsake his own. No, no, you're not alone. And he came through for me. I know we'll come through for you. He has never been less than faithful and he cannot be untrue. Even though life stormed the raging, he's the one that never changes. He came through, Yes he did. He came through for me. He came through for me and he'll come through for you. My Lord is the 1st and the last. My Lord sees the end of all time and even when life goes beyond my understanding, I'm at peace with His hand in mine. Yes I am 'cause God knows what the future brains. God has a plan for me and you. So I said trust and then obey. Believe it will turn out OK? Yes, it will. He makes a way. He came through for me. I know He'll come through for you. He has never been less than faithful. Powerful. This morning I want to share on the unwilling missionary. The unwilling missionary. Mersey, Jeremiah 29, best one. Now these are the words of the letter with Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem to the rest of the elders of the exile, the priests, the prophets, and all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had taken into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon. This was after King Jokhaniah and the Queen Mother and the court official, the Princess of Judah and Jerusalem, the Craftsman and the priests had departed from Jerusalem. The letter was sent by the hand of Elasa, the son of Shafang Gemaraya of Hilkiah, whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent to Babylon, to the Bugadnezzah king of Babylon, saying Thus says the Lord God of Hosts, the God of Israel, to all the Exiles whom I have sent into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon. Amen. What do you think when you are sent? Is it not a mission when God has sent you? Huh. God has sent you. So what are you a missionary? And it you are a missionary. Now here the Bible says God sent them into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon. Yeah. So just how God sent you from the UK to Antigua, Central Africa Republic and it and it or in it? That's sometimes the reason why pastors can get involved in a bit of the politics to help to seek the welfare of the city, because in the welfare of that city you will have welfare. Yeah, that's what he said. For my brethren and companions sake, I will say unto you. Peace. Be unto you. And he says, For the sake of my brethren, I will seek thy good. For the sake of the House of the Lord God, I will seek thy good, O Jerusalem. So sometimes it's for the sake of the House of God in that country that you seek the good of the country. Are you getting that revelation? OK, so seek the welfare of the city where and I have sent you into exile and pray to the Lord, Amen on his behalf. But that says the Lord God of hosts. Do not let your prophets. Who are in your midst and your divine and deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams which they dream, for they prophecy falsely to you in my name. I have not sent them, declares the Lord. For that, says the Lord, when 70 years have been completed for Babylon, I will visit you and fulfill my good word to you, and to bring you back to this place. I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart, and I'll be found by you, and I'll restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations, Amen. And I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile, Amen. Now God is sending you and now if it's going to turn you back in 70 years, it means your lifetime. You are not coming back because by the time you can reach at the age of 15 + 70, it's 85. So I mean it's not going to happen in your lifetime. So you are gone for good. Do you get it? Many times God sends you for good if you're going to really accomplish anything. OK, so unfortunately people do not go willingly on these missions sometimes. Our captives who captured us, you see. That is the mentality that will never let you do well. And I always remember many years ago I told my wife I said no. Never say anything bad about the church or the work or the mission of. Ghana or anything, we are. So the willing, the flow of the missionary, the success of the missionary, it comes from the heart. That is why we don't encourage you to just go lightly. A must come from within. If it doesn't come from inside, it's not powerful, but if it's within, it will be powerful. That is why the Bible tells us in Mark 7, it talks about a lot of things says that or from within, from the heart of man proceed evil thoughts, adulteries. You can check it. What he's trying to say is that those things, if it has power, it comes from the heart. If it's not from the heart, it's just not powerful. Mark 7/14 there is nothing outside Mark 7:15 that can defile him if it goes into him. But the things which proceed out of the man are what's defile. Or you can use the word affect verse 18. Are you lacking in understanding? Do you not understand that whatsoever goes into the man from outside cannot define what are the things that go into the man from outside like food because. What he was saying is. That it does not go into his heart but into his stomach and is eliminated. So he's talking about physical food. Going into it doesn't change or affect you for food. For from within, out of the heart of men precede the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, deeds of coveted wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, standard pride, foolishness, all these things proceed from within, end effect, or in other words, they come from the heart now. The ministry must come from your heart. Do you think what I'm doing is doing it from my heart? That's when it has an effect. So sometimes people would take the book that I've written and they are preaching from the same book, but it's not from the heart, It's from the head, it's from the notes, it's from some other thing, but it's not them. So it doesn't have that effect. So ministry must be done from the heart. Unless it comes from the heart, it doesn't have a certain power. Are you with me?
