09. Prepare The Way Of The Lord Now

Matthew, Chapter 3. Preparing the way of the Lord Matthew 3 verse one. In those days came John the Baptist preaching in the wilderness of Judea and saying, Repent ye, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand. Amen. Are we going to prepare the way for the Lord? How are we going to prepare the way for the Lord? By what? Preaching, Amen. John the Baptist came preaching. Repent. Not just preaching anything, but specific things that God has ordained for us to preach, Amen. And saying, prepare the voice of one crime in the wilderness. All right, prepare ye the way of the Lord, and make his paths straight. Now prepare the way of the Lord and make his paths straight. All right now, amazingly, that word Make his paths straight right is translated from a a Greek word youthis. Which? Sometimes means straight, but other times means immediately. It's it's actually talking about the time. So straight away. Sometimes it's translated straight away or it is translated immediately. OK, So what God is saying to us now is that we should, He should make the way of the Lord now. Now. Yeah, prepare the way of the Lord and make His path now. Make the road now. You see, time has a lot to do, and timing has a lot to do with whether it will be done ever. Timing and time if you do decide to do the work of the Lord and you introduce even. 5 minutes. Delay into the work of the Lord. Somebody has taken my knock down and it makes me shout. I cannot shout right? And it you and you find that. You. Have for the Lord are you there? If you find out that you have introduced some delay, usually that mission is. Changed. That is my experience. So in doing the things that make a way for the lost, or in preparing for God. Always. Remember that the time is. Now when you are. Asked when your answer is now, right now. OK, so everybody should. Orient yourself to do anything you want to do for the Lord now, OK? When you don't do things immediately, usually it is changed. Even me when I tell somebody go here and they don't go, now it's finished. I made an altar, invited some people to come. Those that don't come immediately, it is unlikely that they will come. Oh yes, from experience in the church. Look, there are, there are. More spirits. Than you can imagine that are wet fighting everything that we have to do and they are fighting it because they know that they know the effect of it so one of the most successful fights of the enemy on on us is to just just delay it a little just not even delay tomorrow later and. Tomorrow, later. Tomorrow. Later. Tomorrow is one of the most effective ways of ending all possible ideas that you are having. Forget it. So when I was 25 years old, I became a pastor. I became a pastor. Now, at the age of 25, somebody's 27 years is becoming the Minister of Foreign Affairs. And you see, like Doctor Gore. Was explaining some of you the things that you know in the realm of Vadnais. So much. I mean, the other day I. Had some young people. Who came to teach and show us about sex, I mean. They they were more than marriage counsellors people. Who are not married? Yes, and they were. They were feeling free, demonstrating how to. Do this how to? Do that. I mean, you know. Everything that somebody who has been mindful at the age of 40, something he's been. Married for years, you know everything, but when it comes to doing something good, suddenly you develop. A kind of fever. That says everything. Must hold on and. Wait, so. If I look. At my ministry, many. Of the things which have been successful are because when the Lord has told me to do it, I'll do it. I start doing. It even whilst I'm praying, yes. There are some people, sometimes I speak to them when I'm praying like human beings. Some people that are interrupt my prayer, speak to them and continue because I don't see my talking to them as going out of a certain realm. Yeah, it's true. When God told me to write books 1998, we launched the book Loyalty. I wrote, I wrote the first books in 1998. How many years ago was that? 94 would be, huh? 16 years. 94, 1998. Yeah. It seems like I've been writing books forever. I just. I think 1998. All right. Am I wrong? Yeah. 98. It's true, just 98, but when he told me, I started, Yeah, the Lord, I believe the Lord told me to write a certain book. I wrote it when he told me to write it. I wrote it four years ago. And, and, and, and I've been looking at the book and wondering what am I supposed to do with this book now? Because I don't know whether to to to to to to release that book. But it's like when he tells you. To do something, you do it and after I have been, each time something comes up and I think I have to do this book. So many problems come. With it that I even wonder. It has taken so long to do it that I just even wonder if I was to postpone it. Many of the things I would never write them. If I was to get up today and write a book on model marriage, I would have only 1 chapter in the book. That is acceptance. There will be only 1 chapter left that is. Why at the time? That he told me to write the book. I wrote it, yeah. At that time I had zeal energy for counselling, but now when I see people, I. Sort of know when they will not. Listen, I. Expect them not to obey what I'm saying, but this of experience, not out of Highness. I'm not tired. I'm. Not tired at all. You may be tired. But I'm not tired. But it is out of experience in counselling and telling people. Do this. You know that. You say do, but they will not do it. So yes, they should do it. So I wrote it, then started a church as a student. You see, I could have said OK, since the Lord wants me to be a pastor, when I finished my studies, I will start a church. And become a. Pastor, but no. It was in the middle of nowhere, I was at an all night and I felt the Holy Spirit telling me become a pastor from now 19 1980888787 to 88 or 87 January. 1st January. So I said I'm a pastor. I'm from today. I came to my. Fellowship and I told them the next Tuesday. I am now a pastor immediately. That's how. That's how if I have discussed. It with somebody. And say, you know, to be a pastor, you need to be ordained. You need somebody to inform this, this and that and. That finish and that will be the end of becoming a pastor. So I was. 25 years old. When I became a pastor and I was 29 years old when I moved into my cathedral, Yeah, it was 29 years old when we bought our cathedral 29. Yeah. We had our church had $700.00 and we needed to buy it for $100,000. What do you think? Is it powerful? Yes, I was 29 years old when I I traveled to start the first branch in October 1992. I was born in 1963, so 1992. I was 29 years old. Yeah, the. Opening of that church was October 25, 1992. I was 29 years. I was not yet. 30 you see many. Of the things that are not working in your life is because you sit down to think about it and then by the time you finish analyzing, you discuss with one or two people. It's over even an offering. If you if you discuss money. If. That God leads you to give. Don't discuss with people. Everybody has a different level of generosity, a different level of anointing, a different level of spiritual perception to. Give, so don't give by discussion. It will never. Come on. And I've noticed many times when I when I. Want to give something if I. Mention there always. There's always a reason I'm. Sure. What about this design? And then before I. Realise it's cancelled. So I stopped discussing giving. Now everything is now everything. That's why I said. Prepare and make his path straight or straight away. Make his path straight. Away. Yeah, that's why you are. You can't prosper. I started prospering when I was. 25 years old, I've not even finished school to start working on. What looks after me? Today and. Cares for me. Today at the. Age of 50. Or 51. Is. Yeah. So you see that and I'm trying to go everywhere preaching, you see. So what I'm trying to tell you is that you are not making it because you have some. I know how to preach for 40 more than you. Yeah, even 25 lbs. I can preach. I know why I'm here at midnight. There's a reason. There must be a reason. That's why you don't have 1000 churches. Uh huh. It must be set today. What fits me even? My car. I don't have a car. I don't own any car. The car that I use is for the church. I don't own a car. Yes, the car that I use is not for me. It is a church, The church that can buy me a car to use, that I that will give me permission to use this car. I started doing it when I was 25 years. I was still in school. Whilst you are waiting for whatever, meanwhile as you are now, you are even a counselor, a sex counselor. You are experienced when it comes to work for God. Suddenly you don't know much. Wow, you watch Nigerian movie but you cannot watch DVDs of preaching? Nigerian movies stop watching throughout the day and. The night, but you can't. Stay up to watch. DVDs and listen to preaching. And as I'm preaching now, you are saying to yourself, when are we closing? But why don't you ask when the Nigerian. Movie is on. Yeah, I think. It's somewhere over here. Just look at the person. Look at the person. What about this area? OK, sit down everybody Say I'm starting now. I'm preparing the parts now. Yeah, yeah. I'm starting now. If God shows you something. In this. Camp when are you? Going to start it. Now why? Because before it is finally fulfilled, you have to cross so many. Hurdles. Why don't you start all those difficult things early? No. Yeah. Amazing. You see, I. Remember, it's true. All those said that day, the Lord said if you don't pray for the sake, I'll kill you. Listen, that little room, I remember that day clearly. All those times it was like faithful and I said like 20 people here. I I preach a nice place and you want to disgrace me? Who? Can be healed here. Somebody was. Blind, he said. If you don't eat faith, I will. Kill you? Yeah. I thought that was what God was telling me. So all these things, it's like sometimes if you don't start. Now it's like from. Now till. Maybe four years. It's training. So why you just you don't need that the time that he had planned. To take you to the next whatever you know you are. Now starting the training, four years have gone by. He was. Supposed to be. Practicing A lot of ministry is practicing when. Jesus was training his disciples. He trained them. By letting go pray for the sake. Preach and all so. People who are being. Trained think they are in their ministry but it's actually just. Training. You know, yeah. You're just being trained. And the train is the doing of the thing. So you don't have to step back if Corolla had not practised. Been practising in a church when I came for the. Consecration of Bishop Mosa. She wouldn't have been able to sing because I just needed a. Couple of an hour or two with her and she was perfect. She was perfect. She did very well. You know so. It's like a lot of opportunities that are supposed to be training and it's like you've postponed the training for a long time. It's like you wouldn't even do it, you know? So anything that you don't. Start now you know. I tell you because you it's it's more difficult to pray for 20 people. I mean it's like all I was God was even teaching me is like. Happening me for. Embarrassment. It's like I've. Developed anti embarrassment scheme. I don't care if I'm embarrassed. Yeah, this time I be healed. It's not healed. It's like whatever, embarrassment. I don't. Care it again, I've been, I mean, it's like I've been put through so many risky situations. And it's like, I cannot be embarrassed again, Pastor. Andrew, you remember. That day, that's beautiful. Somewhere I remember one time some lady came, you know your surgery and I had to do some small surgery when she was going, she was so. Grateful, Doctor. And I was thinking. I hope the things that I sold because it was my first time, I hope that they will still work. What are you waiting for your days of? Experimentation are now. This is your. Chance to start your work for God. What are you waiting for to read? Especially God is speaking. To you, what do you want to wait? For to. Learn. To sow seeds of DVDs, his father said it. Now I want to go. I want to have cops No let later when things are clearer. No, now, now organize it. Now, if it must be done, it must be done now. So give yourself to God now. Come to Bible school now. Come to Ghana now. Do what God has called you to do now. Marry your beloved now. Get your beloved now. Fix your death now. Do it now. Bad. Behavior that you decided. To change, change it. Now. As I will change by next. Year now, yeah, there must be change and there must be change now. Tell your neighbor I have decided to change now in Jesus name, Amen. And it's like he waits, but at that point you see that it's for nothing. He was. He shouldn't have even waited. You weren't even going to come. You were never going to do it from day one. When you said later it was never going to happen. You were never going to change. If there will be a change, we will see the change now. Yeah. South Africa. There's going to be a change. When? Now.
