Welcome to track #9 of who is he that overcomes the world? OK, now chapter 4. How do we relate with the world? How are we supposed to relate with this terrible group and wild police and wild people? Isn't it? How are we to relate with the world #1 or #2 Let me give you the real number. So #2 the world must be crucified to you. Oh, we got a wrong scripture here. Galatians chapter 6 verse #14 Galatians chapter 6 #14 But God forbid that I should glory save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world, does it? The world is crucified. It's like I don't I I don't know what other words you want to understand how to relate with the world. The world is crucified to you and you are crucified to the world out out of your life completely. Unbelievers the the world, the places of the world, huh? The life of the world, you get it. The music of the world, huh? The ways of the world, the cost of the world. Everything about the world is cut off. Crucified means to cut you off. Jesus Christ. They wanted to cut him out of this world. They cut him down. Crucified, nailed him, put him away. That was it. We don't want to see you again. How many of you have got unbeliever friends? Now the friends that I have that are in the world, they have grown up. I hardly see them. I just speak to you on the phone once in a while even I wouldn't even say that is is is a is a friend. I'll, I'll tell you something about that later. Now, Charlene, the world is very dangerous. So the presence of the world around, you know, see that you are changing. Yeah, you are changing. The world put a lot of pressure on us. A lot of pressure. If everybody in the world has Apple, you don't have Apple. You will fail. You have it, I will fail. Everybody has seen the Well, I haven't seen the question. But if you move with people who don't when I was in medical school, we are moving people. No, we don't. Nobody had Apple. The world is crucified to me and I am crucified to the world. It's out of my life. What are you talking about? My friends are pastors, somebody or somebody I will chat with. And when I say I have a friend, it's not, I will explain. It's not what you are talking about. A friend. I said it to encourage you to stand up. I have to be honest with you. I wanted to catch you so that to catch somebody you have to give some small bait, huh. You got friends who are drinking beer, whiskey, raise your hand. You have some parties that drink beer, whiskey. You also just talent. I get your friends that would drink in front of you. So you are under pressure. You are under pressure. You don't know how can you live godly and righteously in this world. What the Bible says you have overcome the world. It is important to cut out. Listen, if you don't know anybody who is looking at Apple, you don't have the pressure. You don't know anybody who is smoking. Once I had some friends who were smoking. They were all smoking. So I said, oh, why don't you try? So I went to try and I started coughing. That was it. A friend. They will tell you. Are you still a virgin? What? Charlie, there is something wrong with you. You have to test the place. You are not normal. You have to test. Yeah, but the world is not crucified to you, and you are not crucified to the world. Wealthy music is in your house and you are proud of it. Collections, albums, they are all there. Wealthy alcohol is in the house. Smoking cigarettes, Homosexual videos, heterosexual videos? You have your collections of wealthy books. What are all these things there? Why have you not crucified them and buried them out of your life? What? What are they still around doing? What are the friends doing in your life? What are these group of girls, group of boys? What are they connected to you for? They will put you under pressure more than any amount of demons. I'm telling you, no number of demons. That is why we when you meet a girl and she says I'm a believer and you meet a group that are unbelievable, you can't tell. I tell you now, you cannot tell. It is because of our connection to them. Yeah, today you can hardly find a Nigerian who is not either religious, born again before or has come from a good Christian home doing bad things. Also combined with the Christianity that you can't even tell what is the difference between a Christian and a non Christian in Nigeria. Nigeria, is it true or is not true? Yeah. Everybody prays, everybody before they eat into armed robbers. They are all born again Christians. Yeah, they pray about it. They pray about it. They pay tithes, they give offerings. This camp is driving out the world from our lives. Is it clear or it is not clear? Yeah, the world must go out with strength from your life. The numbers of your worldly connections must go out in Jesus name. Are you not tired of somebody saying I'm a believer and you have to do more investigations? Huh. I say I'm a believer. Tell your neighbor neighbor all connections are being broken tonight in the name of Jesus. #3 You are supposed to shine as a light to the world, to the world. Shine as a light to the world. Instead of connecting to them, shine. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. Matthew 5, verse 14. You are the light of the world. Philippians 215. That you may be blameless, harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as light in the world. Philippians 2 verse 15 that you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God without rebuke in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom ye shine as light in the world. You are the light of the world. So when you go in the midst of the world, there should be some brightness around you. I believe this really didn't feel uncomfortable a little in your presence because you sort of shine on them and and when they are with you when you are there they notice the brightness. Nobody you've come to join them for them to say OSAFO, how is it, is it working? Osafo is it working and you are all holding down and OSAFO also it is working. Don't be shy of the world. What do you think? Don't be ashamed. We are not ashamed. Shine, shine. Pray for them to see that you are praying. Say you go to check for them to see that you go. Say I don't drink, I'm sorry. What is wrong with you? I said I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't go to clubs, I don't go to disco, I don't do anything. That's all. I read my Bible and I go to church and I have church friends and I'm not ashamed of it. I have no apologies. You know, some years ago there was one of our presidential candidates. I think he lived abroad, you know, and he lived abroad and his father was a rich person and all that. And one of the other opposing presidential candidates was also, they were criticizing him, you know, that he drives a Cadillac. He speaks this language and he lived here and he's done this and he's been to Europe and he's there. And at the point the other presidential candidates say, yes, Mr. Whatever, I I lived in Paris, I was here and I have no apologies for it. And my father had money. I have no apology. I'm not ashamed of it. Why? Because he sometimes the, the politician, the way they were trying to make him feel bad that he came from a home that has money and there's nothing wrong with that. So he came out and said, look, I, yes, I sat in the Kerala, yes, I went to this school, yes, I had this, yes. And I have no apologies for that. That's all. That was the end of that. And in the same way he must have said, yes, I don't smoke, yes, I don't drink, yes, I don't sleep around. Yes, I don't do. And I'm not sure I have no apologies for that. Immediately the people will say, Hey, Madam Priest, Madam Priestess, it's OK. It's OK. And why? I don't drink. I don't smoke. I don't go to that part. You are being pressed out of Christianity. Think you are supposed to shine #5 any number you don't have, you just take a note of it. You must live soberly, righteously, and godly in this world. All right? Titus chapter 2. Beautiful scripture. Titus chapter 2, verse 11. The grace of God that bringeth salvation. Titus chapter 2, verse 11. What's the problem? You must live soberly, righteously, and godly in this world. That is number 5 titles. Chapter 2 verse #11 verse #111 What does it say? The grace of God that brings salvation hath appeared to all men. This is going to be our memory verse. We must learn this verse, for the grace of God that bringeth salvation has appeared unto all men. Teaching us that denying 3 things, 3 three things. Teaching us that. Teaching us that denying what three things Denying ungodliness and what wealthy last two things. Denying 2 things, we should do three things we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world. Amen. So the grace of God that bringeth salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that deny which two things, ungodliness and worldly. Last we should do which three things we should live what? Soberly, righteously, and godly, soberly, righteously. It's the love that you're willing to surrender all. Pray hello, I've known and that this that a man should give his life for you. Do you love the Lord like he loves you? Do you really want to do His will? So what will you do in return for His love? Will you yield and obey or just walk away? Jesus really needs to know how it is the love is from the outing and so that He really needs to know that I told willing to surrender all all of your night to his will and he's the man that's the least that you can turn that one day. Jesus turned to Peter, said, I want to know if you really love me. Simon Peter turned to him and said, Oh my Lord, why do you mean my life? Oh dear Lord, how I love you, I will keep your commandment, I will feed your sheep. Jesus asking you to say, how's it is your love, the love of thee? It's your love. We really need some love. That's a winning surrender all of your life to His will and this man. That's the least that you can do.
