Welcome to track #9 of the powers of a cross. I'm going to share with you about hiring shepherds, hilings hiling somebody who must be paid to do this work. All right, now you remember Jesus made reference to hirelings. He said that Good Shepherd will give his life, but the hireling will run away. Now that word hireling is a word that is used in the Bible many times, though we may not have seen it. So I'm going to make you turn to every single time that we find it because because you must never work for money if you are working in the ministry, no matter what level you are at this, this is a mystery because somebody like me, I'm a full time minister. I live from offerings and gifts. That's how I live. What do you think? That's that's my life. OK, so in this category, you can also be affected by the need to get money. You get it. You can also become a Highland, full time Highland and when you are a layperson you can become a Highland as well. Do you get it? So you are never free I think till we get to heaven really. No one should have a party when you get to heaven and organize everything. What do you think is this? No, you are never sort of free. How many brothers thought you'd be free from lusts? When you marry? Then that will be it. How many were disappointed that the last continued? Raise up your hand if the last continued after you got married, you see, it doesn't end. So you think that when I'm a lay pastor I will struggle not to be a Highlander When I be hired full time, that will go away. No, it doesn't go. It changes and it continues. Is it not fantastic? So you always have to battle with, you know, this thing because, because, because when you oh, it's still not. I'll give you a hug after. It's powerful. You know, I really enjoy the beautiful aspects of many of the sisters who work in the ministry because they are so kind to me. But I I know that I know. Why are you clapping? I always tell them, I hope you are behaving nicely in the house. It's like when I saw her run, I said, this running. Is this running in the house? Hey, you see, sometimes your husband will get angry with you. We're going to go to us. When you were in the church, we were running up and down running. Come into the house, I said, give me what? I said, go and get it yourself. But when I ask for something, they don't tell me. Go and get it yourself. Why didn't you bring it when you were coming? What do you think? Fantastic, isn't it? Anyway, all the time you have to battle with am I working for money or working for God? All right, So one of the very good things is as a layperson to learn to be a shepherd, not a highly you have to, you have to be successful. Then then you move to full time ministry and then you'll be successful. There also not to be a highly. OK, very, very, very important. Now one day, 12 pastors met. They're all planning for a major event. OK, so they all closed down their eyes to pray. Their leader was no other than Christ Jesus, so crisis has also bother his head to pray at the table. As Christ was thinking about how he was going to suffer and the others were not sure of what they were thinking about, one of them was thinking about some money contracts that his. Eyes were on. Are you there? One of them was thinking about some money that he was going to get through this same ministry, Jesus Christ. Through Jesus Christ, he got 30 pieces of silver. So when we bow down our heads to pray, do you get it? Your mind must not be on what I'm going to get from Jesus or through Christ or through the church or through something to do with the church. When that happens, you have become Judas. Because it was Judas who even went to say, shall we pray of our supper? He closed his eyes and he was thinking of when to leave because of his deal. Do you get it? Yeah. This also is reflected when people steal offerings, people still offering, people lie, passes lie when they are taking off. This is for this, but it's not for that. I've not told you before that I'm taking an offering for me. But I'll tell you one day, I'll tell you that I'm going to this offering is for me, and I'll see what I've not told you before. And yeah, so if I do that, then you know that you are giving an offering to me and I take our result for me. What I say is for that's what it's for. We lie. We steal offerings. We, we, we, we don't pay tithes when we pay supposed to pay tithes. You see, we don't pay tithes. We steal offerings. We work for God in rich areas but not in poor areas. Yeah, that's why most of you are here and not in Lagos. Why are you not mostly in Lagos? Money brought you here. Tell the truth. I don't think so. It is true. Yeah. Oh, thank you very much. Such a blessing. So you see, what I'm talking about now is getting nearer to the powers we are getting. You must muster the concept of working for God. For God. I tell you, I cannot say anything more important than what I'm saying. Yeah, You see, you can preach to get money. There. Are preachers that bring money Yeah, there there there's a type of preaching that rich people feel comfortable in Why do you think banks usually have nice buildings with glass and rich looking if you go into a Hut or some old dilapidated. And. Then you just come in to deposit all your your 1000 lbs here. Something. Something rural bank. Instead of going to Barclays, which looks very polished, go to this little Hut which says that it's a bank, Village bank, rural bank. Tomorrow it may be removed by the rain. So there are places which are more attractive to people with money, even churches. So a pastor is talking about money. He's this. He's into money, he's into riches. And a rich person person may feel comfortable. Yeah, to be there. They are OK when we are rich. Some. Places, they feel that when you come there. It's like this when you see us. I was one of one rich person. My child was telling me they harassed us on the car park too much. After. I check this one once. This. This one wants money. This one wants to. Oh, it's a problem in Colegono, Joseph. I don't know whether it's still happening. Juicy. Is this still happening? Yeah. Mercy. You can't preach for money. You can't change your message for money if you are preaching and they tell you what you are preaching. You know, one day a pastor went to preach. Yeah. And when he finished preaching, they told him you are going to take an offering for him. So they took an offering and the offering was very low. So they met with him and told him that your preaching was very poor. That is why offering was very low. The people that I appreciate your your ministry. He was very. Shocked, very worried. Now that's what they told him. Dizzy. Yeah. Have you ever gone to preach and they tell you when you preach, depending on how well you preach, I'm going to give an offering to you. Which message will you preach? Take up your cross. Hi Grace. Suppose they told you when you sing well, we'll give you money. Depend on how well you sing. Then we'll give you which song will you sing? Will you sing the song that is bubbly in your heart about how you love Jesus? Or will you sing the song that they clap loud loudest for? So you see yourself standing in your mind, Which one should I sing? Come. Which one would you say? Come Jerry, what song will you people sing? Suppose I say when you sing well we are going to give you money, which one will you sing? The favorite? Which one is people's favorite? Quiet time. Your offering is going down. I could have been dead. Where are the guys? Come on. I could have been dead sleeping in my grave, but God blessed me to see another day. Even when I did a wrong, he was still there. Yeah, I'm so glad that God still hears the sinners pray. Are you glad I'm? So glad. That God still he come. On Sing It, I said that pray, come on. I walked to the church. Yeah, on a Sunday morning, I stood outside contemplating if I should walk through the dog. A lot of folks knew me from way back then. People hold every time. Every time. I know all I've seen. Sleeping in my way in my dog, that grave. But God bless me to sleep. I love that 01 more day. And when I did a roll, he was tearing. Yeah, I told. God. He's not us without sin. Let him cast the first storm 'cause there ain't nobody better than the man sitting on the throne now. It's about time for us to stop judging one another, Stop acting holy at them now and start letting off your brother 'cause I know all I've seen and I'm sure love is Bobby, but I'm gonna lie that I'm here sleeping, sleeping. My dog Dark Green dot left me to sleep away while he messed me, and even where I did her on, he was still there, still there. I'm so glad it got still. Now. Give us this day. I'm a daily brand. I forgive us our day. I speak. Forgive my daytime. I leave in a fly leader, not to take a shot, but deliver us, Deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom, and thine is the power and the glory, forever and ever, ever. Oh, oh, I'm so alive, oh I'm so alive, so alive, I'm so alive. I'm still here. The sinners pray. Jerry, come and collect your offering. Next time you sing popular songs, you get money. You see, we are shy to receive an offering, but anyway, because we dropped one of the offerings, yeah, it's my fault that you are shy to receive offerings. Amen. Anyway, are you there? Yeah. So doing. Something for money changed the thing. Maybe you have to sing something, maybe sing another one. So when I sing this one, this guy, this guy will like me or give money. I went to a church and when when you preach, they come and put money when they are preaching. I said, Oh, yeah, it's a very common thing now. I said don't put money when I'm preaching because if you don't come when I'm preaching, it's like my message is not good. You see? It's like it's not a good message. And the way my message is is new. You will not be bringing money. So in the end, if you look like I'm not powerful. Oh, yeah. What do you think? I wish I could tell you something. I really wish I could tell you. It's right on my lip. I'm going to swallow it. That's gone down. So I'm trying to direct your mind away from ministry for money, work for God for money, preach for money, sing for money, travel for money, go. To do this for money, it has to, it has to go away from you. That's not when people are coming to full time ministry. We try hard to frighten them, to not come #1 #2 to show them that it is poverty that they are coming to experience. And then #3 we practically administer poverty. Wow. So that if they are not this thing, they will return to where they came from. You know, it has created a very stable environment for my people are so happy working in the ministry. Those of you who come around, you know, they're very happy. Yeah, happier than many people working at many places. Those of you who are working in the world, you know how you complain, how you hate your boss, how you look at him and wish he would die tomorrow. How you say to yourself, this man who go to hell my hobbies. He says Sinner. And anytime somebody wants to leave, I'll I open the gate wide and lay a red carpet for you to walk away. I don't want to keep even one person who doesn't want to. One day I saw one of our staff, I said you want to go abroad. They stood there because it's not like a goat which has bitten peppermint. Please don't let me laugh too much. I said why are you standing there? I said I've not something that is so true and it is said like that. So I said go open gate, go let me buy a ticket for you. Everything go Jesus God. That's why he put the tree in the garden to give you a choice. I tell you one of the worst is to have people who are forced to be with you. They are forced to be with you. You know, when I I call pastor and I said tell your people that they should come for the camp, but don't tell people who feel that they have to come. I don't like people who to that hand. They've said if we don't come, it's like a subway. So no, I don't like it at all. Stay at that place. I don't. Is it when somebody is with you and it's like we've been forced to come, I don't like it. Oh, you don't think so? What do you think? So I am trying hard, but it's not something that whatever. Well, because there are people who are working in the lake, they want us to pay their transport bus pass when we are going to visit, when you are coming from homecoming, we should pay. And they are going from the station, we should pay, should bring allowance for play instruments, allowance for controlling the sound. One day we had a crusade and after the crusade we were doing the accounts and while we joined with some other churches to do the crusade. And as I said, oh, this for this, this for this, and this for the sound control, I said, what sound control? So we have to give that. We have to payment. Everybody has to get something. The key thing is everybody was given money. And I realized that it was a point where we would not understand ourselves. So I'm also phlegmatic when it comes to a lot of things. Whatever before, after you say I've cheated you, you came to increase volume from Level 3 to level 8 and I didn't give you money. I've cheated. You take never come back again. Are you there? I would say go to this country as a lay missionary. We have to pay for your ticket. We have to rent a house. We won't rent. We. Won't pay. Yeah, that's that's the reality. We won't Either you are full time or you are late. These are the two ways you imagine. If we're paying everybody already, the breast is time to calm down. How much more more people are brought to come and suck it? OK, take it then. Ministries for those who want it, those who are determined to be in the ministry, there is a price to pay. Even a lay pastor has a price to pay. All these people have come for the camp. I don't know how they bought their tickets from America. I didn't buy tickets for them and I'm sure the church has not bought any ticket for them. But if I was dead, maybe you buy ticket and come for funerals. So if I'm alive and say I'm come and preach, why don't you just come? And when you are going to die, there's no announcement. You just die as the information come. When Mrs. Saki died, we didn't. There was no announcement. We were having Christmas and then she died. How did you die at Christmas time? But she died one week to Christmas time. She was dead. Oh, there's nothing. There's nothing like home. And so sometimes when people are giving you give me a short notice to come and say we can't come. We don't want to come. Oh, you don't get it. Are you getting it? I'm trying to help you to be healthy because at my level I. Also have to be healthy. I went to preach somewhere. They said depending on how you preach, the people who give offering, Yeah, depending on how you preach. Depending on how you preach. One day I went to preach somewhere. I was told the same depending on how you preach. A pastor who had been there before me called me and told me. Hey, are you going to? This place I went there also and they told me the same depending on how and when I preach. Instead my preaching was very bad. Is it not amazing? So I'm trying to help you work for God. Don't work for money. And when you are working for God, it will not be easy to differentiate what you are because you also have to live sometimes a struggle. You see. Now we have pastors appreciation there. What? What do they call it? Is it pastors, Galatians, 6/6 Sunday pastors. Yeah. You have to receive an offering for the pastors. Do you do? Do. Is that what you do? Yeah. You have to receive an offering for the pastors. You have to say our offering for you, for your church juicy. How do you think and you can preach. You can prepare a season and Galatians, this is approaching from August. You can start September. Is it in October, October, October 1st week in October you can prepare. One of the things that happened to me when I left the Kodesh pastoring was that I lost that pastor's appreciation because I was the pastor of the Kodesh. So this is Pastor's Appreciation Day or Galatians 60 Sunday the. Whole. Church would appreciate me. So when I was handing over I thought about myself. Hey, now, often it's finishing. Yeah, because now they do the Collection 60 Sunday for Bishop Saki. Oh, yeah, they dust. Yeah, they did it. They made a thing there, isn't it? I don't know what they did. They made what they printed. Did some right up everything. Collection 66. Appreciate your pasta. Oh, yeah. Not me. So. You see, you can take the decisions based on all those things. No, when it comes to Galatians, they tell them I'm their pastor. What do you think? Yeah. So pastors, Shepherds, oh, live for Jesus, live for Jesus, do everything for Jesus sacrifice. Pastor O'kell has gone to Germany. We don't pay him to fly there or fly back or we don't pay his rent or this or that is working, forcing. I'm not a force. One day I went to play golf and the ball was by a tree behind somewhere and the caddy thought I couldn't play. The hole was far away. I took my I think 3 iron of 1 so 3 and the ball came like a bullet and the boys three said I'm. At a first. Ball. Agorica I'm at a first ball. Agorica I didn't understand what it is, but I said why did you say I'm at a first ball? You forced the ball. Agorica to go. Is it the ministry you have to force for the thing to come out of the forest? And if you you see Reinhard Bonke, Reinhard Bonke, you get it. He, he went in his life story, you know, he went to Africa, to Lesotho as a missionary for 10 years, for 10 years. And he said something he said at the end, he said, what did I learn for 10 years as the missionary? What did I learn? He said the first thing I learned was that Africans are not sitting there waiting for you to come. And when you come you're bringing them salvation. And he said, the second thing I learned was that you in Africa, you will have to force and fight for every resources, money, everything that you need. It's. Not there. You have to force it to come. It's what he learned for 10 years in Africa. Oh, yeah. That's how the ministries we force. We fight. You get it? Yeah. How can we go to Poland, check Ukraine, Russia, sustain all these? All our guys in the Caribbean, we have further written to them. Tell them we cannot sustain you again. Better find a way of surviving there or return. Yeah, I'm going to Add all the lay people. This, this, this. No, no, no, no, no. When you go, go and look at your wife's breasts carefully. Imagine if there were 1617 years, 16 years, 15141213 babies. Everybody, you stand there. Like that. They're all coming like that, but the husband also. So a. Hireling is somebody who is hired. He's hired. You must make yourself that. You can't be hired. That's why when I preach, you never feel sorry for me. I don't preach you certain way that you feel so that you have to give me I. Have. To give you 50 pounds, 10 lbs to buy. No, no, no, no, no. I'll. Tell you that I am, I am more blessed than most of you who if you want to give to me a spiritual reason will make you not pity. I mean when I was a doctor, I never make push check myself so that people will feel that they have to give me money. And doctors are collecting tips. Doctors don't collect tips in Kolibu. Hey, may I receive a tip once? All my time I practice medicine. It was I think 10 CDs or 10,000. Yeah, from a strange patient who was being taken to court and didn't want to go to court the following day. I think it was Monday, so he came for admission. Yeah, He came inside, he's dying. He's here. He had his pain. He was lying. It was later that we saw that he was lying. But that time we have admitted him. So when they go to court, they say that he's that he's dying, he's not feeling well. That time we saw that the thing was not true at all. We thought it was heart attack. He was dying. Lies. All lies. So I want you to play drums, not for money, you see, because I started with that. I started with that. It has taken this type of terrible utens to, to, to, for me to be able to even earn money and even receive. And I think that is a handicap that sometimes you, you cannot receive. You see, when I said receive, she was asking why aren't you offering? They have to take offering for you. You may not need it, but you have in ministry, you have to learn how to receive offering. They are not too big. To. Receive offering. Why not Too big? You see, that's why when I started writing books, I said it's like playing the piano. I'm not going to receive this thing for that. See all those things, they just guide you because you start with a good foundation of you don't do this for money. And because of that, it has made it easy for me to give out books. It's easy. And I I have more books in print, more books going. I see a freer ministry easier. More. Proliferative, more multitudinals if you like, because that element is there. Business element is not there. It's just not a business, not a bookstore, but it's not a business. If it was a business, it would be different. I've I've met with people who have sold books. You know, when you meet with people who give books free, you see that they have a greater ministry. When I found out, like Reinhard Bunker, he gives books when I was reading about his thing. I think you have given about 150 million books. Yeah, something like that, 50 or 150 when you read people who have. Who sell you see that 1,600,200 thousand 80,000 when it's free and it becomes plenty. There's a difference in how far you can go when it has when the person has to always pay for. There are a. Lot of places you cannot go because most places where the gospel must be preached, they cannot pay. They have the Africas, the Indias, the South Americas, the Eastern Europe. They cannot pay. So your ministry is limited by the business mind. So people say we are doing business, we have to be business minded in certain things. And I have a different philosophy and there's ministry aspect. You have to be careful about it because it actually is a limitation. Share the book. I don't even have the feeling that I'm giving money. One day we went to Rome. We shed thousands of books to people. One person came and said something. He said there is a reason why you are doing this. You have seen something, that is why you are doing it. I mean, a good thing is that like you have seen some. There's something that you know that we don't know. There's a reason that you have that we don't know. That is why you are doing what you are doing. Because it was like, why do you understand? So Briders and sisters, I want you to decide I'm going to work for the Lord. My talent, my gift, my ability you get. It will not be sold and it will not be used as a business. I can receive an offering. I accept the concept of offerings. It's a spiritual thing and it's good for people to give offerings, you understand, and you can also receive an offer. It's not a business. And then when they're also connecting the offering to preaching, then you have to be even more careful that you always. Preach for God to be. Happy with you. When I go and preach and I come, I kneel down. I don't kneel down in public. I kneel down privately and I pray and I always confess my sins that maybe I've having said the right, I don't know, it's the right message. Maybe I've given the wrong message. You understand? I pray always you see, because you are you are servant of. God. That's why they call you man of God, no man of money, but you are servant of God. So. Make it your aim to be a servant of God. Now if to be a servant of God, you have to be a cleaner, why not? If you have to be a servant, you have to be a chef. Why not you have to be a waiter? Why not, if that is what it will cost when the white people came to Ghana to work? Do you? Think they were wiring money to them. There was not even the existence of Barclays Bank. Or. Ghana Commercial Bank or Western Union, they came and they used their hands to farm and tried to do anything that would make them survive in West Africa and Singapore and Malaysia. All those places have visionaries. So our minds. Must be. What do I need to do? You see, that's why I'm saying that you must be sendable to anywhere. The. Question is what do we what? Do you need to do? To be able to be in Poland. So. That we can have a big church in Poland after a job. I have to do this. I have to do. I have to do come here do. It do it. Do it. What? Did he have to do to stay in Australia? Do it. What? Did he have to do to be in New Zealand? Do it, brother, do it. His wife doing it. There's joy in having done something for God. At least stand up you, stand up you. I can say for sure not all of the rest of you. You came to England for money, but this guy went to New Zealand, but he didn't go there for money. He had no knowledge of New Zealand. He went there for the ministry. So even though they are lay people, you see there's a certain. Route. That is different from a route that you have. It's they've shifted even within the lay, they've shifted into a different group, these two and so and and same thing could stand up France, stand up. He's also gone there. He's also a different reason. And then o'kelly, you stand up to Germany. He went there for different reason. You see us against the reasons why we all came here, you understand? You see God. He looks. God seeth not as man seeth. When God sees you straight beyond your hair, your this straight there looks. That's all that he looks at. We look outside, but God looks straight directly. He doesn't even see your hair, just straight down behind your chest, bones straight there. But now you are never. There's never anything else that he sees, always looking at the heart. Straight. Always looking at your heart, always looking straight directly at your heart, you see, and sometimes our actions reveals funny things about a heart that we always say it's not true. So it's good. I'm happy for these guys and I know there are many of you here who God is going to send that He has already sent you some of you He has released you, but he wouldn't go. So he's coming with I've seen a scissors in the spiritual. He's coming to cut your tail. So you are going to feel a certain pain at a certain but it won't kill you, but the pain will help you to go faster. Lost. Send the pain, send the scissors. Like a lizard, when your tail is cut off, you wouldn't die. It's based on my visions. That's what I'm telling you. I'm telling you my visions, you see? Yeah. Now there is a little confusion that comes because of. So do you want to know the confusion about manual? You see, this one was telling. Me, you see, he said. You know, are you more? Do you think you are more prosperous in New Zealand? Tell the truth, I am. You are more prosperous. Yes. Wow. You. See, he's more prosperous. It's good that he's told the truth than when he was in London, you see. Do you think you are more prosperous in Australia? Oh yes, Oh yes, Oh yes. I, I spoke to Pastor Obi in Kenya and you know, he was telling me, you know, when I was with him in Kenya, we're going somewhere and we were just doing something. I will not tell you what about but you know he was saying that, you know, we're saying that, Hey, if you wanted people who come to Kenya and say you came here for money. Is that how the ministry is that when you start on a right note and you do something for God and then he blesses you beyond what you used to be you thinking you were going to go down rather went up. Then people begin to look. I say you, you know, you were looking for a better life. That is why you came here. It's that that's that's my problem, because in a certain sense I am prosperous or blessed. What have I made me want to describe it? You get it. People have the mind that, oh, that's why he's doing it. See, But really, God does bless and look after people who look after his work. 153 fish, 153 no net breaking, no net breaking. And then on the right side, and then grilled and bread, toasted and toast and grilled fish already seasoned. Some of you don't know how to season fish. It's not good. You see if you are somebody's wife and the person has been eating sea water every day or freezer, freezer water, the fish you have, he's not complaining. It's not nice. That's why when there's PFI, people can they cannot eat, forgive. Ask your neighbor, do you know how to season the fish? You are tall. Do you season fish? OK, OK, OK, OK, OK, OK, OK. Stand up everybody. How many are going to work for God and not for money? Are you sure? When you are under pressure, we eat the money of the church. When you're under pressure, will you eat the money of the church? And. If you are a member of a club association of unfortunate foreigners, you are a member of such a club or foreigners club and you are in need of money, will you go to the club and take money from the club? Is it the fact that you belong to something that's not mean that when your financial pressures come, you have to go to every club that you belong to and take something from them? You are a member of the lodge. You are going to the lodge for their money. Member of this Rotary, you are going for their money. Member of this foreigners club, you are going for every club you belong. Golf Club, you belong. You are going for money from them. Hey, we don't do that. OK 12 Characteristics of hiring Shepherds first time out chapter 2 They do not need anything, but they still want to get money for whatever they do. There are people who they don't those are the first card number one. They do not need money, but they want to get money for whatever they do first. How much after two verse 5 says they that were full have hired out themselves for bread. Now listen to the best. Are you there? I don't know if you have the time to turn the path. I'm giving you the 1st. I'm on 2 verse 5. It says they that were what? Hungry. They were full. You are full. But they still hire themselves out. They rent themselves out still, they still collect money, they still collect bread even though they are full mercy. So there are people, they do not need it. But the fact that I've come to do this thing for the child, I must collect it. You. Don't need a house, you see and that's what people do sometimes they work for an organization. You don't need a house. You've got a house. But they checked or the organization rent a house for you. I mean, like many go to the ministry, ministers of state and so on. They have a house. There's an official house. So Charlie, let me move to the official house. I rent my house out and so on. It's like you already have the house, but I want a house. They that have a house want a house. It's mysterious, isn't it? Not fantastic. They that are what fool have rented themselves out for money. Amen. They are fool. I need bread. You come with your big stomach. Can I have that? Because it's my due, because I've done something that deserves bread. If I was to do that in this church, you will not be here. If I behave like that. You can't stay in the church. You know the number of things that I have to be paid for, to pay for being the founder, pastor, overseer. Of. 52 countries, President of hospital, orphanage, schools, primary school, author of over 4 million books. My name Goodwill. They have somebody who makes it goodwill here. The. Churches all over the world. I have to pay for all this. I still live in the house that my mother bought for me. Yeah, that's the way I live. The house I'm living in was built, bought and built for me by my mother. Yeah. I'm not saying I have to stay there forever, One person said, oh, I really respect Bishop because of where he's staying. Your mouth like your respect. Instead of saying you have to get a better house for me, look at what you are saying. I had to respect the both of where I'm staying. Yeah, if I'm to do that, you can't stay. You will not even be here. Oh, so decide I'm going to be a good pastor. I'm not going to that I'm full. I want my my thing Bring bring, bring, bring. They are fool. You can't eat it. You can't use it. Bring it. I say if I have to practice that you will not be here and. We will all not be here. #2A hireling builds the church, the church, he builds the church, the members, he builds up a church, but he expects money for it. In Second Chronicles, chapter 24. OK, so they build a church. They do the work of preaching, teaching, visiting, interact, but they expect to be paid for it. That's a highly He's hired to build the church. Do not be hired to build a church for anything. Be. Called by God to build the church. Whatever aspect of the church we are building, build it well. Second Chronicles 24 and verse 12 it says and they hired Masons and carpenters to repair the House of the Lord. So the House of the Lord was repaired or built by hired people, hired hands. We we can build a Church of God in the UK, but not necessarily with hired. Do we have to hire somebody to build a church in Moscow? Do we have to hire somebody to build a church in Kiev? Do we have to hire somebody to build a church in Czechoslovakia and Poland? Do we have to hire somebody to build a church in Chile? Do we have to hire somebody to build a church? We are only in 52 countries. There are about 200 or 250 countries in the world. There are so many places for us to go to, huh? There are many islands, many places for us to go and win some souls and fruits from all over the world. Yeah. Do we have to be paid for all that? Then? Then the the nipples are is finished. The the small one that is left. It's it's passed now. It has passed the belly button. It's descending. They have pulled it. They pulled it. Everybody. Some are putting their mouth. So they are pulling now they are fighting. Slap and get away. Hey, they repaired the church, they built it, but they were hired. And I'm saying that we can build it, but we can't be hired. It cannot be that there's not that money is not there. You know, one of the reasons why they've stopped sending missionaries from America or they've reduced greatly. They are too expensive. American Missionary, American School in Ghana, $6000 a term or a month. Me and my children went to school in Dansoman. Do you know Dansoman Danson's man? Does the city of Danson, Mr. Danson's town? Yeah. Recently I saw a banner. Of what? Do you call it the advert of anniversary of a school in Dansoman? 15 years anniversary. My son was the first student in that school. First. There was nobody else in the school, only my my baby boy. Yeah, He was the first student in the school. Yeah. Just down the road. Not American school. I know, I know where it is. There are two American schools in Ghana now. When you are expensive, you see, we may only be able to build 1 church. It's too expensive to hire. You. Spiritual Masons and spiritual carpenters. Very expensive guys. God wants people who are not too expensive, too, too costly, too expensive to pay. Yeah, so. That you can use them. The less expensive you are, the more you can be used. So if my books are very expensive, it can't be used so much, The price is too high. The less the less expensive it is, the more God can use them. How do you think? Don't you want to be amazing? Who is not paid to to serve the law? Why do we have to hire you to build a church? I have. To pay you. OK, Take that transport. Take this. Take allowance. One day I met a pastor. He was feeling very sad. His church is small in a certain town and he has 6 branches and now we also have a church in that same town. So I said to him, brother, my church is far bigger than your church. I have employed only one person. I. Said how many have you employed? He said we are 9, we are 9/6. Me, my wife and I think somebody, we are 9. I said my church is far bigger than your church and we are. We are only one person, you are 9, he said. It's true. It is true. I am going to. Suck all of them. Look, one of the strategies of Satan is to wear out the Saints. When the Antichrist come, he will wear out the Saints. It's it's to make you tired. Recently. I realized I was feeling tired of the missionaries, tired of all their issues, tired of this, tired of this. One day I went to a country. We're sitting down all together, about 20 of them all. So. I, as I said, write down what we need. I mean, what you want us to discuss or share many issues. Oh, this was I need this. I need this. The whole meeting was what I need. So I realized that now my breasts were getting they were, they were spoiling that had become red. I realized that I I could not even enjoy the fellowship because it was all about what I want, what I need. Money. Give me, give me, give me. Because all the Masons have been have to be paid. You see, pastors are spiritual Masons, building and adding blocks to the church. And when you have to hire all of them, it's not possible. Yeah, sometimes people think we are hard, but that's how the church can be built. Yeah, if we are not realistic or practical, it will not go far. Are you there? So that's the second characteristic of Mason. They build, but they will build it for money. The next one, they do odd jobs for money. It's another characteristic. The first characteristic is that they are full. Sometimes they are full, but they will still collect. The second characteristic is that they will build a church. They are spiritual Masons who add blocks, but they do it for money. The third is that they do odd jobs in the church like playing instruments, counting money, and they will take a percentage and it says in Second Chronicles chapter 24, verse 12, and they hired such as wrought iron and brass. These are not even Masons, iron and brass to mend the House of the Lord. They were also hired. What type of? Brick is this. It's not correct. The next characteristic please never be allowed. You see Mr. Video Man. Are you a member of this church? Will you be paid for what you are doing? Uh huh. I am. Don't be paid for this. OK? Pay, Pay, pay, pay. Pay too much. It doesn't help. Are you sure you are not being paid? Isaac. Where's Isaac? Are you paying him OK? Are you sure this is what they like? Money 5 video guys, I just buy a drink. What do you think? Is there a message? Odd jobs they must be paid. Building checks they must be paid. They are full, they must be paid #4 There are 12 characteristics. Because they fight and build for money, they can be hired for any foolish cause, any foolish thing, they can be hired for that. Second Samuel, chapter 10. Are you with me? Second Samuel chapter 10. Now it happened afterwards. There's one that the king of the Ammonites died and Hanun. His. Son. OK, Sit down. Sit down. Your time, huh? You prefer to stand up? OK, stand up, stand up, stand up. Hey, I said stand up, you are sitting down 2nd if you are pregnant you can sit down. OK, OK, OK, OK, OK. Now listen. Then David said, I will show kindness to Hanoon the son of Nahash, just as his father showed kindness to me. So David sent some of his servants to console him. But when David servant came to the land of the Ammonites, the Prince of the Ammonites said to Hanun their Lord, do you think that David is honoring your father because he has sent consoles to you? Has David not said the servants to search and Spire out the city? So Hanun took David servant and shaved off half of their beards, and cut off their garments in the middle as far as the hips, and send them away. And when they told it to David, he sent to meet them, for the men were greatly humiliated. And the king said, Stay at Jericho till your beards grow, and then return. Now when the sons of Amon saw that they had become odious, what does this one say? That they stank to David the sons of Amundsen, and hired the Arameans of Behirab and the Arameans of Zoba 20,000. Foolish. Guys to come and fight a foolish war, you understand. And the king of Mecca with 1000 men and the men of Top with 12,000. And when David head of it, he sent Joab and all the army and the mighty men and the sons of Ammon came out and drew up in battle at the entrance of the city, while the Arameans of Zuba and Rehab, the men of Tob and Makka were by themselves in the field. Amen. Now listen, a foolish war based on shaving of a beard that you have foolishly gone to shave. They've been able to hire you because you are hirable. So as soon as you are the type who can be hired and can be paid, I tell you, there are many foolish things and things that should never, never attract you or be able to even tempt you that will cause you to go the wrong way because you are the type that can be paid and can be hired. I'm telling you. And so a highly one of the characteristics is that because it's for money, it can be hired out. Yeah, money can influence you at every level. One time a pastor, when they went for a conference and with Yong Gichu and all these guys, they went and one of the people, I mean in their host church, they went to see the pastor. The. Assistant pastor of the church, which is like I'm in hosting Yong Gichu and we have come with all the board members and one of them went to see the assistant pastor of that big church and told him how much are they paying you here in this country? I want to make you an offer. I'm telling you a real story. I want to make you. And he made a guy an offer, I tell you. And the guy accepted it and let it. It caused a big problem because they have come to have a conference here. And then now they've come to spoil because one of the people who was a crooked and he was later sacked came to rather spoil the church, like coming to hire the main assistance and he could be hired and he was hired by a crook. I'll not tell you which nationality he was. No, I will not bother to tell you he was hired because you can be hired. So once you are hireable, when the pressure comes, you see that they've taken you and you could be paid. Yeah. You know, all the years I've never been attracted to stay here, to stay in Switzerland, stay in all these places which I apparently have money. It doesn't attract me. You see, it's important that I could have left Ghana. Many, many ministers who live in West Africa moved to Europe and America. Oh, you don't know. Look carefully. You'll see there are many, many people who lived there and they've left. And they live in Europe, They live in America. They live in these places. Yeah, because he can be attracted. What do you think? You take decision because money can influence. When I was sending Pastor Obi from here, of all the people, I I I don't, I don't sure he will not like what I say about all the people that in this church, even if it's Pastor Obi used to sow seed in my life. Big, big money. I come to London, one of the only people, if not the only person come bless me with amount of money. He was a businessman here when I was sending him it. Or care to me say. Hey now that I'm sending this person there. Will be nobody in landing who can sow a seed in my life. And. Since he left, nobody has sowed any such seed in my life. Oh yeah. But am I going to keep Sam says so that he'll be giving me when I come give me 1000 lbs or whatever? You see as soon as. Money is now guiding. Everything about you is twisted. Twisted. Every decision, your ministry, every They can charm you something small. You are charmed. It's a very. Bad. Thing to be controlled by money or influenced by money in the ministry. I'm telling you, learn it early and. If. Ever. You are doing late and it's inconvenience. Sacrifice something. Do it because it's training you, that you work for God, but not for money, and money's not what makes you think so that later, as things develop, it will help you to be guided properly. Yeah. Think. About all our churches. I don't run around trying to stabilize American churches. I want the church in New Jersey to love me, or the church in New York. You know all this church, I mean, I don't even go there. You don't even see me there. They thought I have to go around because why? Why they should be there? That's not what has to guide me. That's not. What has to guide me? Beard. Has been shaved and. Some. A fool. Has. Been able to I mean hire you to. Come and fight a foolish. A. Foolish war, something that doesn't concern you to die a foolish death and a lot of people to die for. Not because you're hireable. You you, you. You are the person that can be paid. So what I'm saying? Nobody here should think I'm above it all. When you think above it, you don't really understand the message because it's something that affects all of us. It's not like it's me or it's this person. It's something that affects you because for the ministry to do well, you always, there's the financial pit. It comes in at a point, you know, look and say take the offering. Baboon day. Was it monkey? The monkey is working. Baboon is chopping in somewhere. No, no, no, no. That mentality is a mentality, is a devil mentality. I cannot let you do well. Yeah, Amen. What do you think? When I was coming into full time ministry, you know, think of the money. Do you know how do you know what I you know what I was getting? Nothing. I. Talked to my sister. My. Sister was working in Geneva. I. Said give me money, give me money, Beatrix, give me money. She give me money every month I will send it. So what am I going to do? I said I'll be preaching, I'll go to secondary schools. I'm doing a church trying whatever. She said if you are winning souls, I'll give you. I'll give you that man. So she sent me my every month, every month. There's no money in the church. It was about 200 francs or $200, something like that. That's what I live on. And I give some to Bishop Sakis takes some. This one is for me. I took more than him. Yeah, yeah, that's what I that's what I asked people out pursuing their careers and that's one of my amazing doctor Nosh. My I was staying with him in a room at the point. He asked. Everybody was moving, flying out. This is what I'm. Busy in my life you can imagine I. Said it's not. Based on what you are going and what will I ever I said I knew I would never get anything again. That's why it's paradoxical. It's. Ironic that the persons I'll never have I'll never eat again. One of the things I knew I'll never do against I knew I'll never travel abroad again because there was no way I'll ever buy a ticket so they people buy tickets for me business class 1st class to come far. It's it's wonderful and people look and say the reason why he's doing this is this. And I don't blame them. I don't blame them because yeah, that's what it looks like. I can't blame it. So yeah, it met me. That's just like somebody said ah, when we came to the church we had die for Jesus crossed when? They listened to us, so we never knew that you used to ever. Preach such thing, faith, fact, confession, positive. So you don't know the other side. So when you know the whole picture, you realize I know this one is rather a blessing that was not even thought of, that seems to have come. So learn it so that it's your foundation. If you are listening on the tape, learn it. Your heart when you come into the ministry, if God ever gives you the opportunity. There is a camp one, some camps on people. I pray for them. My best prayer, All of you will be in the ministry at that point, All of you. If you were here when I prayed that prayer, Yeah, to happen. God will answer that prayer. My best prayer that I prayed for. Yeah. That's. Why I'm not attracted to rich people now They are just also there. Be there if you. It's nice you are here. That's. Why I can't tell a mother millionaire that say it's difficult for a rich man to go to heaven. I'm not afraid of him. I'm not afraid of. I don't need anything from him. Yeah, learn it early because you see it all the way in the ministry. What do you think they were hired for a foolish? Reason. And they went. May no foolish idea ever be able to employ you or deploy you. This is the reason why people become Orangus. The Spirit has told me to start a church. I saw it in the Spirit. Many of them are just looking for money. They just want to control the church's money. So they step aside and start a church with the same church members and then they take that. We are seeing several of these in some of our churches in Europe. Yeah, seen. It seen it over and over and over again. They just want to step aside half people in their church and when they pay tithe and offering, they will use the money or control the money because when you are laid past the church, you do not control the money. We've seen several occasions like that. Any foolish idea can make you get the money. What do you think? Think about the places that we are now planting churches. They are all poor places, poor. Eastern Europe, South America, Africa, Mali. The Our mission just arrived in Congo Brazzaville. The capital is what? Crowd. What what is the name of it? Not Kinshasa. That's the Democratic Republic of Congo. You know, the capital of Brazzaville. It's called Brazzaville. Yeah. The two closest capital cities in the world. Are Brazzaville and Kinshasa, they are separated just by the river. On this side of the river is Kinshasa, and on this side of the river is Hugo Brazzaville, and it's separated by the Hongo River. And the Hongo River is several 1000 miles long. Huge. I watched a documentary for three hours. The poverty. Ho, ho. What a river flowing through terrible dead bodies. Flowing, floating in the river. Something very poor. Our missionary just arrived in Brazzaville. Ben. He used to be in London. Which church was he? Somewhere, Ben. But he in Brixton. I thought it was in North somewhere. No, no, no, no. Ben. Bernard Cranton and his wife, Matilda Collindale. Yeah. Kinshasa. Who was in Collindale? Irene, Irene and Daniel who were in Nottingham, they are in the desert of Mali. Is there something to get in these places? You see, if money was guiding us, So what Ghanaian pastor was saying, hey, ask for this. Your Bishop, Hey. Always hear of him in the strangest of places, see. Because the usual destinations, you hear of a Ghanaian pastor, I swear, New York, Hamburg, Dusseldorf and where? Germany, London, these are these are where we go see. But God has blessed me to be able to go beyond that. It's it's such a blessing not to be guided by money. Oh, it's one of the highest, highest, highest, highest privileges in this world not to be guided by money. Yeah. Yeah, even in a secular world, when you work not for money, you are at the highest level. When the time comes when you are not working for money but for some other reason, you are higher than somebody who is working to get his pay. What do you think? Is it true? It is true. OK, We are getting another cross. How many characteristics did I give you? The the next one. Hirelings are useless to God. That's the next characteristic of a hireling. Useless to God? Yeah, useless. They are useless. How many want to be useless? I mean, you must be useless to God. If money is what is controlling you. God cannot control you. When he speaks, you can't hear. Turn with me to Judges Chapter 9 and Abimelech verse one. The son of Jerobal went to Shechem to his mother's relatives. Are you with me? Sit down. OK, Sit down. OK. All right. And spoke to them and to the whole clan of the household of his mother's father, saying, Speak now in the hearing of all the leaders of Shechem, which is better for you, that 70 men, all the sons of Jerubal, rule over you, or that one man rule over you? Also remember that I am your bone and your flesh. Are you with me? Judges Chapter 9, verse 3. And his mother's relatives spoke all these words in the hearing of the leaders of Shechem, and they were inclined to follow Abimelech, for they said, He is our relative. And they gave him 70 pieces of silver from the House of Baal Berith. With which give me a chair, please. With which Abimelech hired. Hired what? Worthless and reckless fellows. He hired the king, James says. Vain and light persons. Yeah, a a a person who is useless, vain, all this and is worthless. You see, these are the type of people that can be hired because Abimelech was not the rightful king. But some people came and said is it better for 70 people to rule or one because the 70 were more in line to be the rulers. But they came to present this useless argument to take an illegal person to be the king. Are you there? You have to read even the chapter before to understand it a bit better. But then he said to him which one is better? And he had 70 pieces of silver, and he hired what kind of people? A hireable person is what? Useless. And a hireable person is what? Worthless. Reckless. You are useless, worthless. As far as God is concerned, you are worth nothing. You are useless in the Kingdom because you are somebody who can be hired and it is useless people that can be bought with money. Look, when I see a layperson who is successfully a layperson, I always see the value of that person is high. If Peter wants to be in full time Israel, I'm ready because he has successfully been a lay pastor. He has found a school, found a job, found this fund, has done so many things so. It's good. Is the value of the person just goes up because he demonstrates? I understand Slim is prepared to pay the price. He has paid the sacrifice and the price for. To. Be a lay minister, even in far away. The value just goes up. Value value value. That's why we like people to be late. PLA Pass prove yourself, show how you are prepared to pay the price and all that. But since we employ, you start saying. When I was in the this year, I was getting a 5,000,005 million and look at what I give me peanuts. Peanuts are being given to me. Now, and I was in the, they said by now they'll be a director of Varco, I'll be a director of this organization. Yo-yo, yo-yo. No, if you would have go back there as soon as you say go, go, go to where you would have been rich and be rich and send off friends and tight so that we can work for God. You would have if we also start to say what we would have been any and if you're sacrifice of what he would have been. One day I went to Switzerland, you know, and we were there. Then they wrote the letters. They wrote a letter to me. They wrote a letter to my wife to come and buy yachts because we wrote that we were she was a lawyer and I was a doctor. As far as they sent us brochures for yachts to you know what, it's a yacht. You don't know what I want. You go, go and check. And. We should come and buy yachts because we were in such a high category. So high. And we were sent brochures for yachts, just wrote the word lawyer and the word doctor. We are at the top of the society. If we are also also to say what we would have had, can we stay I. Want my yacht? Did you know that I would have had a buy a yacht for me? I'll use it at Kolle Lagoon to go. Up and down. No, no, We have a river called Odor River. And we Is that not what it's called? Odor River. Door. Odorna Odor River? Yeah. How many want to be a Harling? Yeah. How many feel that certain things are being killed in you? The next one. High links are not deep, spiritually deep people. When you can be hired, you are usually not spiritually deep. Why? Because this verse says they hired vain and light light. So they are not deep. Do you get it? They are superficial. But when you have depth, you cannot be, cannot be charmed by money. Amen #8 manly becomes the God. Huh. No 6 is the hirelings are useless. 7 is hirelings are spiritually not deep but is using the same verse. Oh OK, I missed one. All right. The next thing about the hirelings is that they think that every other person works for money. That's how they think because they work for money, they think everybody else is doing it for money. There cannot be any other reason apart from money. Do you see? And the second case, did you get that reason? They think it must, there must be some money somewhere, some money getting things somewhere. It must be. That's why we accused so much, for the Lord have made the hosts of the Syrians to hear a noise of Chariots and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host. And they said one to another, are you listening? Lo, the king of Israel has hired against us, the kings of the Hittites and the kings of the Egyptians to come upon us in Second Kings, Chapter 7, verse 6. This story is we don't have the time to read all the stories, but the point here is that their mind, the first thing that their mind went to is they've hired some people. There can never be people coming like this unless they've been paid the mind straight. They've hired, hired, they've been hired, they've been paid. Somebody's been paid. That's the automatic. It's a thief. It's a liar. Do you see automatic? It's this, it's this, it's that. It must be. It's automatic. I don't think that way. When you think that way, it shows that you are a thief yourself. But certain things will not occur to you. One day I was somewhere and then I thought it occurred to me. So what am I? What bad thing am I supposed to be doing now? You know, because you realize that people have a mind. That. These are the bad things that you do. So it occurred to me that. So what? Do they think what are people thinking? You see, because there there's certain polluted, perverted minds. They have only one twisted way of thinking. It must be like this, but have a pure mind and let God heal you of twisted thinking. OK. The next 1 #8 Are you tired like me? Well, I'm tired, are you tired? Yeah. The next one, money becomes the God of a highland. I can give you the notes and maybe talk about it later as I have 46 verse 6 and hire a Goldsmith and he maketh it a God and they fall down. Yeah, they worship highly pastors. He can make the hide A Goldsmith who made a God. Are you getting the story? Once again, the person who is hired can even make a God, and it's only God who can make you do anything. Anything #9 hiring pastors are good at being personal pastors of people, personal, personal prophets, personal pastors. Now listen to this story. It's another long story, but I just picked the vest. And. He said, are you there? I wait for you to feel so that you listen to what I'm going to read. It's in Judges 18 verse 4. Don't bother to turn to it because I'm tired now. Want to close personal hired pastors Listen. Oh, are you there? Are you ready to listen? OK, OK. And he said unto them, that's and that's D left my car with me. This was a priest talking. Oh, he said he has hired me and I am his priest. He has hired me and I'm his priest. Personal priest on the pre roll. He's hired me and I'm his priest. Come here, you need to sing for me. Tired. He has hired me and I am his priest. Messi, you think you can say the right things when they have been hired? The source of your income is questioning you, huh? How many do you have #10? Highlands can go against the will of God because of money they can go against. That's another character. They are, they are light, they are useless. You get it. They are not spiritually deep. They can be personal pastors of people. And another point here in #10 is that they can go directly against the will of God. You know this, the will of God, they go exactly against it because they can be hired. And in Nehemiah chapter 13 verse 2, it says because they met not the children of Israel with bread and water, but hired Balaam. Balaam was hired against that. He should kiss them, but God turned their curse into a blessing. Balaam was hired against God and he fully flowed against the will of God. Why? Because he could be hired. Do you understand what I'm saying or you don't get what I'm saying? How many are going to go fully against the will of God? Give me a reason #11 I've almost finished. I've almost finished, please. Hirelings have not been sent by God, and they are not called by God. They have not been sent by God and they are not. When you are a hired hand, you are not sent. Jesus said the hireling flees. And in Nehemiah chapter 6, another verse in Nehemiah, it says and I love. I. Perceive that God had not sent him, but that he had pronounced this prophecy against me, because do you see? Are you there? No, you are not with me. You are not with me. Are you with me? It's a very nice verse and I don't want you to miss it. Are you there? Name a six verse 12. OK, I perceive that God has not sent him, but He had that he has pronounced this prophecy against me. Why? Because Tobiah and Sambala had hired him. Tobiah and Sambala had hired him to prophecy, but God has not sent him. He was not sent that somebody has hired him. So hired highly are not sent by God. So when I send somebody and the person is somebody who needs must collect money for it, he's not been sent by God, but he's been hired. So try not to be someone who is hired by someone. Who is what? Sent by who? By the Lord, the Lord, Amen. The next one is hirelings and the last one. These are characteristics of hire. They frustrate. The purpose? They frustrate the work of God. Amen. Hey they. Frustrate the work of God and you see a very powerful verse in Ezra chapter 4 and verse 5. Ezra 4, verse 5. Shall. I read it to you. I won't read it yourself. Listen, let me read it. And they hired councillors against them to frustrate their purpose. All the days of Cyrus the king of Persia, even unto the reign of Darius. They. Hired councillors to frustrate. The purpose. Their purpose? They hired councillors to frustrate. So highly frustrate. That's why I have a lot of lay pastors. Because hired, hired people can frustrate the work of God. Smoke. Money this this this this this this this plenty Mercy we hired counselors to frustrate the purpose of God Mercy. May you never be a highly Jesus that I am the Good Shepherd, I give my life for the sheep, but the highly fleece because he is not a shepherd. He is a paid guy for things. That's everything frustrating, light, vain, useless hide against the very will and purpose of God. May God give you strength never to be a highly. Amen. I will bless the Lord and give Him glory. I will bless his name and give him glory. I will bless the Lord and give him glory. I will bless his name and give him glory. The Lord his righteous and worse, and all great and kindness and good to all. The Lord is righteous in all his ways. Bless the Lord and give him praise. I will bless the Lord and give him Lord. I will bless his name and give him the glory. The Lord is near to all who call on him. He loves the righteous who fear is here. You reign forever as the Lord of all. Lift your voice and give him praise all light. We'll miss the Lord and give him glory. Oh light, we'll bless his name and give him worry. Yes to give him worry. Yes, to give him.
