Welcome to track #8 of the sweet influences of the Holy Spirit. The next one, the sweet influence of the Holy Spirit on your talents and abilities. Now some of the talents or abilities that we have, we often think they are like kind of natural. Do you understand me? Like we think they're kind of natural, something just that just happened natural. But I tell you, many of them are not natural. They are actually from the Holy Spirit. I believe that many of the artists. Whom? We have heard about and whom we have known about, who we talked about were given gifts by the Holy Spirit. Yeah, but they, they used those gifts for the world. I believe that. So those of you who can sing, because I Can't Sing the way these people sing. I can't. I I do not. I would. I wish I could. Because if I could, I would sing every time I'd preach. I would sing. Yeah, I'd preach. When I get to the point, I start singing. So instead of going around with a singer, I'll go around with instrumentalists. Yeah. So when I get to a point, then I just stop. Then I sing and wow. I mean, how nice it would be. It would be just supernatural. Supernatural. Are you understanding me? But the Holy Spirit has not seen it fit to give that to me. You can choose to believe what you believe. Like for instance, this world. You know when I saw that snake here, Why don't you open the windows? What's the problem? Ghana girls have closed it. Always feeling cold. We come out in the mountains. Why don't you open the window? What? The use of being here without experiencing the coolness, The sweet influences of the coolness. Are you cold over there? Come to the front. Come sit here. Come. Two of you. Come here. 2 of you now come here. Somebody gets ready to pour some water. And somebody bring your chairs. There's no chairs here. Whose chair did you want to? Who did you want to display? Ghana boy is helping. It's just amazing. See, I have called Bezalil. See, I have called Bezalil my name, Exodus chapter 31, verse #2. See, I have called by name Bezalil, the son of Uri, the son of Ur of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God. Wow. In wisdom and in understanding and in knowledge and in all manner of workmanship. To devise cunning works. To work in gold and in silver and in brass and in cutting of stones and to set them in carving of timber and to work all manner of workmanship. I'm sure, I'm sure Bezalel was a Carpenter or a project manager or a steel Bender or a Mason. And I'm sure you said I went to such and such masonry school, I went to such and such Polytechnic. I did building technology and IT. But the Bible tells us the truth. What happened? He said. I have filled him with the Spirit of God in all wisdom and understanding in all these works. So you need to recognize the sweet like I never knew that I was a leader. Never. I've never, I never knew that I was a leader. No one ever called me a leader. No one ever appointed me a leader in primary school. I went to Chrysler King School. I was never appointed a leader. Yeah, I was never appointed a class prepaid, assistant class prepaid, even the blackboard monitor, I was never given that appointment in, in, in secondary school. I was never given any leadership position in any class ever. Unless I can't remember, but I cannot remember any. And then when I when it was time to be made a prefect, I was not given a post even though I campaigned because I really wanted to sit on the high table because they had different food and, and and they don't. They normally gave made you a prefect when you are from the school. And I was from the school. I was from Achimoto school from 1:00 to 5:00, and I was in sixth form. Yeah. And just out of the hole from 5, only maybe two or three people come to sixth form, because the sixth form is only about eight people, seven or eight of them in sixth form in the House. Yeah. So out in the western compound, we're just like 7 here, 7 there, something like that. And out of us we have to choose prefects. And I should have been chosen. And I was. I was not sure. I campaigned, I did what I tried to do, and I wasn't sure. House prefect, prep prefect, dining hall, prefect, compound, senior senior prefects for the school. Nothing. DSP. That was what we had on the West. DSP deputy senior prefect for the West. Nothing. Never. Then in the Scripture Union, I should have been one of the leaders, but I was not made a leader. Yeah, they chose all the positions, president, vice president, prayer secretary, financial secretary, treasurer, prayer secretary, everything, and they did not choose me. 7 Always we had seven or eight, always they had seven, and they chose all of them. Then it was art and everybody else was made a leader, and then I was made prayer secretary. West. They created a new thing and put me in there. Yeah. Then I joined a group called Calvary Rd. That's where I had them singing. The group that I had that song. So friends, don't think you are alone, for Jesus died for you too. Listen, the group that I had that song, and The Who the group that I had say unto the. A new song to that. I had that song. A group that I had a song. God has called us to his background. You can't go without salvation. They never recorded it, so they don't even respect it themselves. Yeah. A group that I had. Take up your cross follow. Me deny yourself not not only not only the group that I had. I was there the day the the the one who composed it came to teach us. He said he came. He came. I said I have a new song and he played every instrument. He said Sam sat behind the keyboard, said play like this. I was playing the keyboard. Some other guys, two were two of us and so this is. What you should play He showed that bass guitar, he showed that drama, everything. Then he taught all the parts. And he says if any man wants to come after me, I will receive him in peace to my rest. Only he should know that any man who holds the plow and looks like he isn't fit for my Kingdom. Living for Jesus isn't easy, but God has promised to sustain. Don't be afraid, for He is faithful. Wow, I was there, now yourself. He can't be taught us. He taught us how to play. That group, I've been I was in the group in that group for as long as whatever they never appointed me as any form of fashion of leader in the group. Yeah, till I left. Any time I became a leader in that organization, I formed a group. Like I formed a group on leg on campus and I formed the group. So I was the leader. Then I went to Colibu and I formed the group and I was the leader. So I I never knew that I had I had a gift to live. I believe that every ability is from the Holy Spirit and people are given those abilities by God and Bazalil had it. So you need to check up what abilities you have. Yeah, because it's from the Holy Spirit that you can choose to use it or lose it or use it for the devil. But I believe it's from the Holy Spirit. I believe that Michael Jackson had a gift. From the Holy. Spirit. Yeah, to sing. And he used it for the world. Whitney Houston, I believe she had a gift. I don't. I don't know. I don't know her and I don't know what song she sang. I don't even know a single song that she sang. But I believe she had a gift from the holy. She was great. Yeah. I believe Lionel Richie had a gift. Hello. Is it me you're looking in my eyes? Sing it. Tell. Me how to win your heart because I don't know what to do and I just want to say I love. You, we had a gift and you see, you sense they are tracing the the consciousness of God. Even Michael Jackson, when he did the film trailer, he wrote on it. Due to my strong religious convictions, I do not believe in the occult or anything like that. He wrote it before the film started. Thriller. Yeah. And Lionel Richie, he composed the song Jesus is Love. And when Michael Jackson died at Michael Jackson's funeral, he was called to sing any song. Jesus is love at Michael Jackson's funeral. You see, the God part is not far, especially with the black people. They were down and under. Yeah, God bless them. So that made me respect Andrew Crouch even more. I realized that he was just one of the many black people whom God gave a gift. To. But he he. Uses his. I've never had any halfway song. What will you use it for? That is the abilities. Because, you see, you have to believe that the Holy Spirit gave it to you. So I believe the Holy Spirit had given me the ability, certain abilities, Amen. Look at Genesis 41 and you notice the Spirit. The Holy Spirit. Is not helping people to be seamstresses and tailless? And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Where can we find such a one as this, A man in whom the Spirit of God is? And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, For as much as God has showed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art. Thou shalt be over my house, and according to thy word shall all my people be ruled. Only in the throne will I be greater than thou. Can I find somebody in whom the Spirit of God is? And the Spirit of God gives people the ability to be leaders. So God has put in me the ability. The ability to be a leader and that ability I could choose to be a leader in so many different spheres. I remember one time I went to have a crusade in Tacorati and there was a gentleman who belonged to the CPP party and he was related to some relatives of mine and he spoke to some relatives and said man. I came to the crusade and I saw the organization, I saw the crowd. I mean, if this guy was to be part of the party, I mean, he would be able to help and be able to do so many things. But I'm sorry, Mr. CPP, my gift is not for CPP. My gift is not for CPPPPPPPNPP or NDC or DDT. I'm using it for Jesus. All. The way to my last day, no crossover appeal. My gift is for him. Who gave it? Andre Crouch. When he was interviewed, he said It's far the whole what did he say? His father said to him, if God gives you a gift, will you use it for him? And he said I will. And his father said receive your son and said his father said his father. Come tell me you interviewed Andre. Did you interview Andre Crouch? Come here, my dear. Yeah, she interviewed Andre Crouch. Did you speak to him personally? They went, his father went to preach in a church. There was no one to play the piano. So his father called him and said, if the Lord gave you the gift to play the piano, would you use it for his service? Then he said he would. So he laid hands on him and he prayed for him and said, receive the gift. And from there, he said, sit behind the piano and play. And he played. He had a pop. The Pop. In his ear and from there he could hear all the notes. Music. There's something called hearing, you see. If you do music. For instance, the music exam OK, they they will, they will play apart from playing. Can I come this way? Apart from playing, They'll play something and then ask you to sing it, sing you, sing it. Not everybody can sing that. I see. Yeah. Another one. Something like that. And it takes a particular year. All right, glory be the God. Is it fantastic? Is it amazing? Is it supernatural? And then you can hear and there are people you can sing to them. Sing this after me, Jesus the lover of my life. And they say Jesus the lover of my life. No, no, no, no. Say Jesus the lover of my life, Jesus the lover of my life. Look, it's like this. Jesus. The lover of my life. Jesus. The. Of my life, So you see, you may never know limited that these things which are natural are gifts. Pop pop. And you can hear, you can sow, You can act. You can speak. You can preach. You can lead. You can sing. You can organize many things you can do. God gave it to you. Our people don't know that is the Holy Spirit who gave them a sweet influence. Put that on you. So you, you, you don't joke. So I believe that I have a little bit of musical gifts, and that little bit part of it is organizing them. Even song choosing is also a gift. Yeah, and knowing what people can do and what makes them nice and good. This is a small, small one. Yes, that's the small one. I can, I can add. So I'm careful to use it because if God gave you 10 talents, it's going to judge you for 10. It's not going to say, look, the judgment only concerns 3 talents. I mean, when you do physics, there's nuclear, light, electricity, mechanism, and when you go, the exam is only on nuclear and light. Hey, why 10 talents exams on 10 talents? So if you are a singer, you are going to have examination on 10 talents including singing talent. Not only pastoral talents, you are going to have your exam on music as well. You wait till you get to heaven thinking that your things are just going to be shepherding. Have you been doing your art of shepherding and so on. So I want you to respect these gifts and I, I want you to never use your gift for the world. You know, if I was, if I was using my, my talent, I could use my talent for Barclays Bank to make Barclays Bank the greatest bank in Ghana. Like as a leader, the chief executive, I'll make Barclays Bank the greatest bank in Ghana. Or. I could use my talent to make an NPP the greatest party ever in the history of Ghana. Yeah, or I could use my talent. To. Build a business, do you get it, that deals with medical equipment, The greatest business ever to exist in Ghana. Or I could. Build the best private hospital ever to be built in Ghana. Or I could. Use my leadership. Skills for so many. Different things, but I, I prefer to use my leadership gifts. It's, it's, it's a, it's an endowment. It's, it's, it's a blessing. And I, I, I thank God for the opportunity to use it in the House of the Lord. What do you think? Is it amazing? Is it fantastic? That's how gifts are. Gifts can look after you. Yeah. You see, one day a certain rich man, he went out onto the sea and he was in a boat, and some pirates came and they caught him and the others, and they brought them to the land and put them in a prison. You see this man was a rich man and he was, he was, he was his. His gift was painting. So the pirates who had caught him, they considered him as one of the common people, and they had him there in the prison and his hands were retired. So the painter, what he did was one day he was seen whatever way he could get free. He took Taco and painted the chief pirate on the wall, the one who had caught him. So when the guy. Came and he saw, he said. What? He said. Oh yeah, I'm an. Artist And so the guy was amazed and he said I needed to do paintings for me. So they released him from the place to come and do the paintings. And it's like they do the paintings and he set him free and he did the paintings and he was set free. Yeah, you see, your gift can make a room for you somewhere. What these guys did, you cannot do it. I cannot do it. One day I was trying to dance in a church and a certain sister, she made a certain comment after I finished dancing. And since that day, all my dancing skills are finished. Oh Ghana girls. From that time I developed a complex sequence the dancing skills. So when I see this dancing, I say wow, what a beautiful doll. How many want to see the dance again? I think so. We should see it again before we go. It's too fantastic. Hey, how many are surprised at this Holy Spirit? When we take a song like We are the Church, we are just. Saying that you misuse the gift, use it for the wrong thing. So we are just correcting the misalignment of that song. The song was misaligned in the wrong direction. You just bring it by, realigned it. The song was given to you to minister to millions, Yeah. And to change. Lives, so we are realigning the song back to its original purpose. Hallelujah are. You there you are going home. Influence the sweet influences of the Spirit on your willingness and eagerness. Now, somebody who is willing and eager, you may think it is because he is just naturally flowing, but you're going to find out. That it is the presence of the Holy. Spirit that makes people eager and flowing and wailing. Wow. Exodus 35 verse Exodus 35. Glory thy God and they. Came. Exodus 35, Exodus 35. I think we should read from a little before Exodus 35. Glory thy God. OK and Moses got this one. Gather the children, the five. Take you. And Moses speak to the congregation, saying, This is the commandment of the Lord. Gold, silver, brass, purple, scarlet, blue, fine linen, goat's hair, ramskin, dyed red, badger skins and shitting wood and oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil and the sweet incense and Onyx stones and stones to be set for the effort, and the breastplate. Offered an offering of gold unto the Lord. Wow, look at this 21 And they came, everyone whose heart stirred him up. Wow, is it not amazing? Is it not fantastic? Home is spirit. Now that spirit, some people think it's the spirit of the person, but it's also the spirit of God because you can't tell we spirit it is right spirit. Big or small, it's up to them, but the Spirit of the Lord has made him willing. Not touch the heart to be willing to be flowing, yes. So flowing people are people that are interested sometimes the spirit. Makes you like. Something makes you flow, makes you agreeable, makes you flowing, makes you so many of you. You see young people, you are flowing. Many of you are flowing. And the reason is because of the sweet influence of the Spirit. Now, as time goes by, things are going to offend you. And so through the offense and the hat. OK, the Holy Spirit will be leaking out and the influence. Of the Holy Spirit will be replaced by influence of evil spirit and earthly and sensual spirit. So you see that you are not so flowing as you get older. You are not so eager. You may say what a shock you will say. You may say what a shock, but you will not shock, say what a shock. God hears your contribution and see the spirit that you bring to the meeting, the spirit that you bring to the whole idea that has come onto the table. What you say? Caleb got up and said. He just made a book. There were three of us and he was describing it and he said he stumbled and the person was he stumbled and said, yeah, he said that was the leg that was cut off.
