08.Serpents As Masters Of Overcoming Personal Handicap

Welcome to track #8 of wisest serpents, right? You have only a limited time to do things, you know you cannot take forever. Now the wisdom of serpents #1 they are masters of inner power, isn't it? Are you a master of inner power #2 They are the masters of. They are masters at overcoming personal handicaps. Snakes are the most severely handicapped animals on this earth 'cause they have no legs or arms. They have no legs, they have no arms, and in spite of this severe handicap, they are the most successful of all predators. A predator is an animal that hunts another animal, kills another animal and eats it. We have lions, tigers, Jaguars, leopards, crocodiles. All these animals have legs and arms and the snake has lost its arms and its legs, which is a very severe handicap and they have overcome the handicap of not having legs or arms. They are able to go anywhere without legs or arms. They are able to go very fast. I'm going to show you a film. In the film, you'll see a snake chasing an athlete. Yes, somebody who is running 100 meters and you see the snake chasing him. Yeah, I'm talking about a handicapped animal. It is able to climb trees. It is able to swim without arms, without legs. They can move equally well on the ground, under the ground, in the trees. You know, until I started to study snakes, I used to feel free climbing trees. And one of the dangerous places to be is in a tree because you can meet a cobra coming downstairs whilst you are going upstairs. Hey, are you listening to me? They can move sideways. They can move straight sideways to the left, to the right. They can turn, they can swim, they can climb. They can fly. I'll show you a straight flying. They can jump without legs, without arms. What a creature. When you are handicapped, you are given a wheelchair. Most of the things that normal people do, you are limited or unable to do them. But a snake? Look, once I saw a snake on the grass here. What surprised me was the speed with which it moved. That's how fast it moved, and it was gone. I used to imagine a snake. I saw the that was not how it moved, and it was gone. I saw it with my eyes. Now somebody told me what I saw. What I saw it. Another severe handicap of a snake is that they have no ears, so they are deaf. All snakes are deaf. All snakes are deaf, deaf and dumb. Actually, and in spite of their inability to hear, they have been able to survive, notice dangers, escape. They are the most haunted and most feared animals on earth by everybody. Everybody doesn't like them. Instead of being able to hear. It is widely accepted that snakes can pick up vibrations on the ground, inserting low frequency airborne sounds, but it just hasn't. First, you are hearing things clearly, he is just getting some, and he is able to survive, live longer than you, and do exploits in spite of his handicaps. So when you become as wise as a serpent, you become a master of overcoming handicaps. And most of us feel unconsciously, without even saying it, that we are handicapped in one way or another. See, what is a handicap? What is a handicap? A handicap is something that severely limits you and makes you different from others. It limits you greatly. In other words, it is a disadvantage that makes success more difficult. Crystal, are you getting me any disadvantage you have that makes success more difficult? It's what we call a handicap. Like you have this disadvantage about you see that makes becoming successful in your case more difficult. And how many are realising that in your case, in your case there are certain disadvantages that makes success more difficult? And if you are going to be as wise as a serpent, you are the one who is going to overcome those hands. Because until I told you that snakes were the most severely handicapped animal, you have never thought that they are handicapped the most. So when we were when my father's horses were running the races, they were always given handicaps like some weight that makes it becomes a disadvantage, that makes it more difficult for the horse to win, to be successful, a physical or mental disability, making participation in the usual activities of daily living more difficult. Amen. So an an ability, a physical disability or mental disability that makes your participation in the ministry, your participation as a first lover, your participation as an elder more difficult and disability a disadvantage. So a, a person who is coming into the ministry must overcome all handicaps if you are going to. And first of all, you must first of all think of your handicaps as something that I can overcome. And of course, you should identify it. And also you should label them and say, hey, OK, number one this, number 2, this, number three this. Yeah. So what are the handicaps now? What or another, what are the disadvantages in your case? I can tell you the disadvantage of mine. I have a lot of handicaps. I have a lot of personal handicaps, disadvantages, but you wouldn't look. When a person has developed the wisdom of a serpent and is overcoming his handicap, when he even tells you that he has an handicap, you start to which handicap do you have? Which handicap do you have? Are you sure? I just use it to preach. I just use it at the window. You're just trying to make us feel good that you don't have any handicap. I have that handicap of being 1/2 caste in Ghana. There is no country in this world that truly accepts me as a real citizen, including Ghana. Even though I went to school in Ghana 100% I've never been to school abroad before, even for a week. Do you get it? Do you get it in Ghana? Everywhere I go, unless now they know me as a pastor. But if they don't know me, they say, oh Bruni, white man, go to your country. Is that how you drive in your country? Red this and that? It's a handicap. It's a disadvantage because when they didn't see you, you see, when you go as a missionary, you must learn how to speak like the people and how to blend with the people because the best leader of the people is somebody like them. That is why you see when the politicians are standing for election, they all use Ghanaian names. You see Muhammad or Ekufuadu or Daku something or not this. Or because some of the politicians, we know them from school, they were not called Kwani or they were not called whatever. They are called some other English. Then Richard, William, whatever. When they started to do politics again, Nana something or Amma something, something, whatever. Yeah, it's like to identify so on a Ghanian tree, what something, something, Amma something, whatever and they mix their names up. Hey, they all went like, if I was going to stop for like, I would keep, I would come up with a car. Neo Datty. So you vote for Neo Datty? Yeah, yeah. So in Ghana I am presented with that disadvantage. True. When I go to England, I am seen as a black man. When I go to America, I'm seen as a man, black man from Africa. Then when I speak, when I open my mouth to speak because I don't have their accents. So he's from, he's an African when I come to Africa. And so he's a white man. So where do I belong when I go to South Africa? They have, some of them have my color, but they speak differently, totally differently. It's a, it's a, it's, it's a then when it comes to a language, my father being a Ghanian and a Ghan married my mother who is not from, from here. And the language that was common to them in the house was English, not gang or tree. And my mother, my mother is my mother, but my mother will talk to you more. My mother is not a gang or a tree. She doesn't speak her language. So she spoke, we spoke English. So I never, I didn't grow up speaking tree and I don't have any apologies for it. I didn't grow up speaking gang. I have no apologies for that. I don't apologize for that. Yes, that's, that's what, that's how my, that's how my, my, my life was. I can't speak tree well enough to preach in it and I can't speak Ghana well enough to preach in it. I can speak, I can speak quite a bit, but I can't speak well enough to preach in it. I can speak well enough to do so many things, but not preaching. It's a disadvantage because in Ghana a lot of people are tree speaking. The most popular FM station, PFS, OK FM and so on is Tree, the Obra. The most popular films on television is Tree. The country. The country should actually adopt Tree as the language. But because of pride and a lot of inability to take decisions, we will not do it. Constitutionally, we will not do it. Wow, are you listening to me? This is a disadvantage for me. I have a lot of disadvantages. When I go to when I go to Korea or I mix with any international speakers, they see me as somebody coming from Africa. And when you are coming from Africa, they see you as somebody who's after money. Straight listed #1 diagnosis before you start to speak, yes. But our presidents and so on and they go, what do they go and do? Is it not going to ask for money to donate donors and all these things? We're going to source funds, donor partners, partner development partners. It's, it's, it's a polite way of saying the, the master whom I'm begging for, it's not a development partner. It's not a partner. Your partnership. You know what is partnership? It's master beggar relationship, that's all that it is, not a partnership, but it's a polite way of saying it. They are still experiencing colonialism, but it's only with new ways, IMF and World Bank and whatever. But they say their controller, even the roads that we build are dictated by them and they tell us which roads to make and they give you man to use this one, this one. I mean, how can you say we are independent when you're planning budget for the year includes the gifts and the donations you are going to get 60% of your money will come from white people giving to you. You are not independent. It's just perfect government and arrangements that are being made. Yeah, you may not know that is real. People don't like the truth. Yeah, but we rejoice in the truth. Are you listening? Yeah. So these are disadvantages then. God has given me a ministry that is supposed to reach to the world. The people that are in my congregation are Ghanaians, largely. That's a disadvantage because if I had wealthy Americans like Benny Hin has in his congregations, do you understand, And some of these Kenneth Hagin has had in his congregations, Americans with million millionaires and whatnots as board members and financing whatever. You know, there are much, much, much richer people who are supporting this. But Benny Hin said he was using five, $1.8 million every five days. That's the amount of money that he has to raise Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, $1.8 million. You know how long it takes us to raise $1.8 million. So I am trying to be an evangelist, trying to reach the whole world and trying to reach out and evangelize. Do you understand? And here are Americans also reaching out to the whole world, sending missionaries with millions and millions of dollars. But in spite of the handicap, we are still doing it. So a person who is wise as a serpent has demonstrated his ability to overcome the handicaps or the disadvantages that he'd come to meet when you came into this world. This is your disadvantage by no fault of yours. Now you stand up, I'll tell you one of your handicap. You see your handicap, you are a girl. If you were, if you had a boy's body, you see your ministry would be more certain as moving forward. But if you want to marry, there's going to be secondary to somebody. And so you may have even very good leadership qualities as I have identified and even made you the chief elder. Now those qualities are going to be secondary to somebody who even may become an Orango, God forbid, and say, you know, I'm tired of lighthouse and you've married him. You're not Mrs. Candela something. Hey, Father, we cancel this prophecy in Jesus name. Jesus name. It's what I've seen it before. It is what I have seen it before. So it's a handicap. But if you are as wise as a serpent, one day somebody who's seen it say, are you a woman or a man? See, as far as the anointing is concerned, there's neither male nor female. That would be the answer. And if you don't have that, you cannot overcome that disadvantage. Sit down, kind of, I'll show you a disadvantage. You are a Ghanaian. It's a disadvantage with a Ghanaian passport. If God has called you to the whole world, a lot of places will say, bring this document, bring this document. Why do you want to come? Sorry, a whole lot of places will not receive you ECOWAS country will receive you ECOWAS. In ECOWAS country you don't need a visa. And this is the poorest part of Africa is the ECOWAS region. You can freely go to Nigeria, Guinea, this Guinea Bissau, this freely love visa. But any little further you want to go now, bring your documents, sit down so you can see. You need to decide what are my disadvantages and each one of you must use strategies and wisdom to overcome them one by one until it looks as though there is nothing. He said, oh, this book, it's not a book. It's not a book. A pastor from Zambia has written a book. It's not any big revelation. A Malawian pastor has brought out a new book on marriage. It's not any good book. It's another disadvantage for me. I'm an author. I have written books. But as you see me standing here, we have in print over 10 million books with a lot of books and million books. Yeah, that's a lot of books. Most people print 2000 copies or 1000 or 500 copies. Yes, 500 copies. It's finished. You would never print it again. That's the end of it and nobody will read it. They will buy it during the launching and that's that's the end of it. To honor you as a pastor, that you've written a book, they will honor you, and after that they will not read it. How many have got books that you didn't read? So #1 You must overcome the handicap of your color. There are all disadvantages. Yeah. What did the Togo say? Not by bleaching. So as I give you the handicaps, then you, you realize that they are handicaps, isn't it? So #1 the handicap of your colour #2 handicap of your continent? Yeah, you, when you see the colour of the person who wrote the book, immediately he said, oh, the first guy is from Malawi. It's not an IGBUK. He lives in, in, in, in, in Mozambique with his wife and two children, Gizagani, Democratic Republic of Bongo. Immediately, you don't, you don't need it. There's no desire for the book. Disadvantage of your continent, disadvantage of your country, isn't it #4 disadvantage of your accent. Because you don't have an American accent, you know, a British accent.
