08- Recap On A Good Fight

Welcome to track #8 for Fight the Good Fight. Let's stand to our feet and pray for a few minutes and then we'll sit down. Hallelujah. Do you believe that tonight has something great for you? Do you really believe it? Just begin to pray in the spirit. Just begin to pray in tongues tonight. Just just pray. It's not a time for chatting, looking around, focus and pray. Pray away every destruction. We are praying that something will enter our spirits tonight. We are praying that a new fire will be kindled in US tonight. None. You may be seated as we continue to pray. Sit down and let's continue to pray. Just keep praying, keep praying and you turn your Bibles. Keep praying as you turn your Bibles. Matthew, Chapter 13. Are you praying? Hallelujah, Hallelujah. Have you came to Matthew 13, right? How many of you are being blessed at the camp? How many of you believe that something great is happening to you? Amen. Now if you read verse 31 of Matthew 13, another parable Put ye forth unto them, saying, The Kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took and sold in his field, Amen. Which indeed is the least of all seats. But when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the beds of the air come and lodge in the branches stare off, Which indeed is the least of all seats, Amen. But when it has grown, it is the greatest among herbs and becometh a tree now it is. It is very important to understand what is happening to you at this camp because some of you maybe came for sightseeing, others also came per adventure. You may live here with a beloved. Some also are here to catch an anointing. How many of you are here for that one? Hey, Amen. But you see, this camp we are having now, we've had many, many camps here and in other places, but this camp is a deliverance service. Deliverance. How many of you have heard of a deliverance service? That is, there were evil spirits in you and you went into a room where their walls were cushioned, the floor had, what do you call it, a very soft carpet to absorb your fall. Amen. But you see what is happening here at this camp, it's very fantastic and God has brought you here to make something great out of your life. Amen. This camp is one of the most powerful camps you will ever get to even be a part of or to listen to where you are being taught to fight a good fight of faith. Amen. Now if you look at the scripture, there's nothing about fighting in it. Verse 31, the Kingdom of God who is eating from an aluminium bowl. But why? What's happening? Aluminium bowl. Sorry, what a flask. It, it must be a very cheap flask. Amen. Now listen very carefully, you see, because you will go up to understand the meaning of this camp. But now it it will, it will sound or it will appeared to you that it's a very nice camp, nice sweats and so on. I mean, we are being blessed. Are you not being blessed? Yeah. But you see, you'll, you'll grow up to understand that everything, first of all, nothing just happens in your life. You know, up until now, your father has been feeding you. You are getting free pocket money. Your mother sends you money. Your books are bought, your shoes are bought. Everything I mean is paid for and all that. So to you, life is just a season of enjoying what somebody else has worked for. But this face is a watershed moment. You are in a transition. You are. You are transitioning from a life of receiving, enjoying, you know, having fun at the expense of somebody's toil. And you are transitioning now into the real life. Now in the real life, you fight the real life. Oh yes, of course for you 2 have been in school. I mean secondary school, university, you are going to get first classes and all these things. I mean, I'm sure you fought a lot of battles to even survive on campus. Have you not fought? That is what our doctor told us. I mean he thought that after getting his certificate it will be over because what success story? The beginning of the success story was when he got his certificate. The title will be conferred on him. After that tally, everything is fine. There are no problems. But he had a rude shock. Are you listening to me? Yeah. You are going to discover that what you thought was a fight, what you thought were problems, what you thought were issues in your life. You will discover that they, they, they, they don't even rank. They don't even rape. When you are talking about proper issues of your life, you will discover that what you thought were fights and battles and issues were actually the comfort zones of your life. Have you never seen a six month old baby crying? A one year old child crying? Why will a one year old child cry? What on earth will make a 2 year old boy cry? For what? What does he want in life? Why should a 2 year old boy cry? I mean just just think about the possibilities. What are his problems? Everything is provided for. A baby is crying For what? Without infections, without any disease, a normal, healthy baby should be laughing all through her years. But you see a baby crying, a baby six months, she's angry. You see a child who is bored. Bored about what? Why are you bored? Everything. Accommodation, feeding, what is there? Is there water? The shoe you wear, Pampers, a diapers? What? Everything is provided, but they are still crying. So at every level there are problems, but you grow up to realize that what that child thought was a problem was actually the comfort zone of the child's life. Are you listening to me? That is why I am promising you that after here, after this phase of your life, some of you are going to get 40 copies of this camp and put it everywhere in your room. Because you are going to discover that life is not as you thought. Life is not the success story you thought it was. That you are going to fight for everything to see the Kingdom of God. When you become a child of God, when you get born again, when you begin to walk with God, you enter a Kingdom that is aptly described in Matthew 1331. It is like a seed which a man took and sowed in his field and, and then when it is grown, not if, but when. I said not if but when that that alone is disturbing because it takes time. But now if you want money, all you do is text your father or make a phone call and then they will SMS wire the money down. You just go to the nearest Western Union or the nearest MTN mobile money and the money is there. But you are going to discover that at a certain point in your life, everything is a when. When will it happen? When at all? Will my life be normal when it is grown? It becomes a very huge tree. Now what the Bible is saying is that whatever is small you see will one day become great. But it does not just happen. It takes a fight. It's not just God. You see the Kingdom. Please look at it well. What does the state say? The Kingdom of? What say the Kingdom of heaven or say the Kingdom of heaven? So if it was the Kingdom of heaven, then we would have thought that things would happen through the agency of angels and the power of God and supernatural interactions of forces and powers. But the Kingdom of heaven, the Kingdom of God, is like a little mustard. Say that a man, a man. Let me tell you that until you rise up to take responsibility for your life, the angels around you won't do much for you. The power of God in your life will not do. You see, this camp is a camp that confess great responsibility on you. Great responsibility. It will no longer be as as as it has been before where everything was free. Free that even right now when your mother comes to visit you, she buys panties to bring you. At this age, yes, yes, some of you sitting here practically you have not bought panties before, except the sexy panties you bought some time ago when you were going to fool around. I shouldn't say it because we are in church. I shouldn't say it. Listen very carefully. See, that is the reason why the camp began with foolish fights, foolish fights, nonsense fights. You see, look at my face, everybody look at me. I'm telling you something that everybody here has a potential to be great. Everybody, even the smallest seed, can be great. Even the most you know, the most seemingly seemingly infinitesimal, seemingly light, seemingly powerless, seemingly innocuous life here in this room can become great. Tell your neighbor you can become great. You can become great. Yeah. That's why I read that verse, that whatever is small, the smallest, the smallest can become great. I'm telling you, look at me. You can become great. You can become very powerful. I am not looking at your weaknesses now or your issues now. They don't mean anything at all. You can become great, but the reason why some people never grow up to become great is that the energy, the time, the resources, the abilities, the strength we should have used to fight good fights, we mobilize all of them in the direction of useless fights. Useless fights, useless fight. So by the time the real fight, because the real fighter, you will fight it whether you like it or not, you will fight the good fight, he said. Fight it, you will fight it, but how you will fight it is the issue. Whether you will fight it with a lot of energy and strength enough to succeed or you will fight it whimpering and fight it without any energy till your enemy's foot is on your neck. At the end of the day you will fight. You will fight. Some of you. Even at this age you have used your energy to do foolish things. So even at your age you are tired, at this age you are tired. You are tired already. We have not even started the race. You are tired because the things you have done, the moves you have made, accept the moves. A girl at your age. The things, styles, the styles. That stuff. So now that now that you are born again, you have settled down in text, the power of God is with you, God is at work in you, the grace of God has come upon you, God's goodness has extended towards you. You are now in the Lord, growing beautifully and a nice missionary, a nice pastor will propose to you. And you married. What do you look at him? And he, he is now coming to start and he is also a novice that you, you are the one who is now going to teach him activities. You look at him and say, what is this? I'm tired. Waiting man not seen before. Waiting man not seen before Managing director self man, man, man, man, man man. You are tired already. I mean, you look at what is this? Listen to me very carefully. So by the time you are ready to now fight properly, you are. And you see, and it is sad that some of us, even as we are here in the Lord first love flowing and so on, you are still fighting foolish battles. You are still fighting foolish battles. But I'm promising you that your real battle will camp. Your real battle will camp. That is why for me, this camp is one of the wildest camps to give you sense. There's common sense and proper sense into your head so that the foolishness, stupidity, the the nonsense in your life will move away. Yes, because many of us said there's no sense in US. I'm telling you it's that your body, which is big, but the sense is small. So it is. This comes we give you even even a even a certain window into practical realities of life. Without such comes there's no sense. Every day you have phones in your head, listening to music, moving up and now visiting anything that is a friend you visit, you won't settle down, you are in school, you won't learn. Watching movies, strolling all over the place, seeing. I mean, no, no wisdom for your life. But I'm saying to you that the Kingdom of heaven is like a little sea, but a lot of things happen before it becomes a great tree. And God intends for your life to be a, a great life. That's why you are here. I said that is why you are here. God. God brought you here to, to, to, to Polish you up, to, to prune you down and to prepare you for a great life ahead and for that great life to happen. You got to fight, baby. You got to fight. Fight. You fight. Fight. He's been not fighting. It's a fight. Yeah. Not fighting. It's a fight. You will discover that the energy you should have used to fight, you use that energy sleeping. Because when you sleep, you use energy. What do you think? You sweat when you sleep. It doesn't occur to you. Don't you sweat when you sleep? Yeah. Yeah, metabolism goes on. You use energy and some of you who snore, you use more energy to make sounds, sounds, sounds. It is my prayer that you will not remain a small mustard seat forever. I pray for you that you 2 will be among the great trees in LCR, the great trees in the body of Christ. And it will take fights. I would have loved to add S to Paul's scripture. Yeah, fight the good fights. But I'm sure that it is an all inclusive word and I hope you know that your fight is not just a fight. You have nice hair. There are many fights. You see that, you fight here, you fight there, you fight there. One day you wake up to seven different fights per hour. One hour. You are fighting fighting. You fight and fight and fight and fight just to remain normal. Small. Yes, you fight. You fight. I mean a fight due to politics. You fight because of a boy or a girl, You fight with somebody because of soccer, husband and wife. You are fighting energy you must use to do sexy countings. You see, some of us are saying here, if you don't listen, you are just going to marry her. Her. You marry her and you discover that actually somewhat even the hair, it is removed in the night. It's just a modified barrette. It's a modified barrette. Tell your neighbor, wake up, wake up, wake up. You are being prepared. Tell another person it is not as you think, so it is not as you think. Tell the person wise up and wake up right now. So wake up right now. It's not as you think. There are many battles ahead, child. The past. There are many battles ahead. Hey, you grab. You see you are fighting everything, fighting to stay married. You are fighting for your child to learn. Yes, You are fighting to let your child learn. And if you are not strong, you spend your time and your day on useless agendas. Useless agendas. So we we are going back to look at some of the good fights, the types of good fights. Oh, I mean watch soccer. Why not? Why do you mean to watch soccer? But when you find yourself arguing with your friends to the point where you don't talk to the person because of you, you argued over the scores. I had a friend, he did dentistry one day we had the major exam in second year major exam and the night before Ghana played some country. I've forgotten which country, but I remember, I remember very well as we are all in our rooms, you know, studying, having discussions. I went to this, my friend's room. He was sitting down thinking, so Moi, what is happening? Said Charlie. He cannot believe that we are being eliminated. If they sound funny to you, he can't believe it, so it's OK. Let's go and eat. Because we were in a group. We all act together. Let's go and eat and go and learn. Let's let, Let it go, let it go, let it go. Ghana had been eliminated. He didn't eat, so we act. When we finished and we came back, let me go learn. I confused. I never feel, I'm telling you my he could not learn. The following day he went. He wrote the exam and he bombed it, bombed it. You are going to fight to be LED because even at this stage of your life, you are under the constant control of hormones. Chemicals are governing. When you rise and when you sit, what normally you see and pass by now because of chemicals, peak concentration chemicals, you have to stop. Many of us here, even our brains are not working optimally because it is awash with chemicals. Awash, awash. And in the midst of all these chemicals, the Holy Ghost must control you. In the midst of all these chemicals, you must hear the Holy Spirit telling you that it is not bottoms we are using to marry. You must hear that voice also. Oh, and woe unto you if you take a step that is not LED by the Holy Ghost. You will pay beer. I say you will pay beer. We are what we are as Christians because of the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He will speak to you, attend the camp, read your Bible, go and study, move away from that foolish boy. Don't flow with that girl. Do All these things are the are the snippets of of of of counsel and input the Holy Ghost makes into our life. Jeremiah 1023 says that it is not in a man that walks to direct his steps. You are incapable of directing your steps. You don't have it. It is not in you. It's not in you. Has anybody who has attempted to direct his own affairs, he has flounded pathetically flounded. Ask the people who felt that they were great, they were just amazing. Small boy you are just growing up a little beard, you feel that you are, you are, you are, you are King Kong. Fight all the influence of chemicals. Say with me Chemicals. Chemicals. Yes, 22 year old girl 2123 chemicals have made your face very smooth. Chemicals in your body are are are ballooning your breasts so you feel that you are great. You are not great when the when the concentrations come down. I give you 15 more years, yes, I'll give you 15 more years. Chemicals. And we are fighting as I'm here. I'm also fighting because I'm also being constructed by a man. I tell you, I think the most powerful chemical in the world is testosterone. Testosterone, All your foolishness are testosterone in use. It guides you. It speaks to you, it wakes you up in the morning with a wake up call and you don't know what to do. Why? What is all this You bind. It's not binding. In all this, you must fear the voice of the Holy Ghost. Hey. Otherwise if you, if it's the Holy Ghost who guides you, a young boy, erections can direct you where, where it goes. And it's directing you are just moving. And it's not like that. You cannot let erections direct you. You know this. The voice of the Holy Spirit must be heard. She a young girl, you are in your room alone and because of chemicals you want someone to hold you hold me, I want someone to hold me. And you call and we are fighting. We are fighting. We are fighting to stay connected. Because let me tell you your life without the Holy Spirit, you are done for. You are done for. That's why the voice of the Holy Ghost must be, must be, must be clear to you. That's why we read our Bible. We are in terms we suck messages and, and there are things which have forcing us not to not to even listen to messages. Things have, have, have forcing Macanese out of our lives, forcing prime time out of our lives, forcing devoting to God out of our lives. Practically, you wake up before you know it, it is 5:00 PM. You've not read your Bible and let's look Word of God in you. How will you hear the Holy Spirit voice? It's a fight. And everyone, you must, you must prepare. You must roll up your sleeves. You must, you must, you must strengthen your muscles, you must tighten everything new in your body to be able to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit. Anything you must do, fight to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit. Otherwise something else will guide you. Yes, if the Holy Ghost doesn't guide you, something else will guide you. And you are too great and too. Valuable to make certain mistakes. Yeah. That's why God has brought you here. How do you think you are here? Because you've not seen your type before. God is showing mercy on you. He's trying to prevent you from making mistakes. That there are women out there in our churches, age 40, age 3542. The mistake they have made. As a pastor, I'm always solving problems that have emanated from mistakes people have made. You sit with a woman close to tears as you ask your pastor. Tell me, how did I end up with such a man? You're asking me. You're asking me and you are no different from that Lady, I said. You are no different from that Lady. Some of you, even even the fellowship, we are in the church. We are some of you. I tell you, even after you have finished university, you must still find a way to attend first large church. Yes, frame yourself down and be in it. Because if you step out of this world, if you step out of this, this, this communion, you are going into the wild and wild things will happen to you as a wild thing. Pimples you should have had when you were 16 years at age 36, That is when you begin to have the pimples. May the Holy Ghost guide us. And it's a fight. It's a fight. That's why we are blessed to have Bishop Doug. You want meals to pastor you? You mean you don't know what is good a man that people are buying plane tickets to spend one day with, one day, two hours with? This is your pastor eBay? Oh, and you are superficial. You are still struggling to be free because you were meant to be slaughtered like a sheep in spite of all the messages. Reasons. What was the series Bishop did about some three months ago? There's no reasons. Reasons. Yes, you are so struggling not to, not to mind an allergy. Who wants you? Obviously there, there are some 2 ladies here, 2 of you. Here You are, you are, you are, you are. You are either in or about to enter into a relationship with a Muslim. Nothing will move you. You are just here at this camp because you don't want to quarrel. But really, your heart is not here. No, no, no. What is going on here doesn't concern you. What? I mean, I don't want to sound rude and so on, but what is going on doesn't concern. But that's why you are going to grow up to see that you pay, you pay, you pay. Read the book of Proverbs and then especially Proverbs chapter 1, the opening scripture. If God sent His word, God sent His instructions. And you don't listen, you don't pay heed. A day will come when your calamity comes. You will see that the God you are praying to, He is the one who is laughing at you. Read your Bible. Don't you have a Bible? Read it. You will call Him. He will not even listen to you. I will mock because when you were, when you were, when you were gathered, when we tried to bring you near, the problems your big sister has experienced, the problem your mother has experienced, God is trying to prevent you. God is trying to keep you away from such problems and it is exactly what you are forcing to experience. God will leave you. He will leave you. I mean, had it not been for first love, what type of woman would you admire? You see a lady who wears a short dress and is standing on half half foot heels, Savin inches, heels 7 inches which have made her legs long and you ask this university you can't even see that her legs are long because she is standing on something. Oh, oh, may you not end up the way your big sister, your Big Brother, that cousin God is trying to give you a little special life. Yes, and that's why you must fight. You must fight it. If you don't know the voice of the Holy Spirit, you must ask yourself how. How does the Holy Spirit's voice sound like? What is the sound of the voice of the Holy Ghost? You'll be there and allow feelings to guide you. Be there and allow khakis. A man's khakis. Some of you ladies, you marry a man because he's handsome At this age, you know he's lying to you. You know he's not the correct person, but that's because he looks nice. The next fight to must fight is a fight to be a strong Christian. A strong Christian, Yes, you will discover some of you may have MBA, PhD, you will be rich, you will have cars, you will have whatever. But at the end of the day, it is your Christian life that will be the ultimate determinant of how your life will become your Christianity. Your Christianity. You may have a master's degree in psychology, but it's your Christianity which will give you the marriage you will desire to have. Whether you will go to jail or not, it's your Christianity. Whether you will be happy or not, it's your Christianity. Some of you ladies, you must, you must, you must enter the ministry quickly to cushion yourself because what is coming your way, though you will need the cushion of the ministry when what is going to come comes war unto you. If you don't have any buffers, also fight to be a Christian. Not, not everybody here is a Christian. Not everybody here is a Christian. So everybody who is here will be. That's because of the Bible. Or two years ago you said the sinner's prayer. No, it's a fight. Yeah. And let me tell you, if you don't develop your Christian life here, that's of God, our Father in heaven above, he will still love you. He he still loves you. Remember the prodigal son? The father was thinking about him every day. He would sit outside and be expecting the son. And one day the son appeared. That's of God here, I tell you. In fact, sometimes the deeper you sink, the more his his, His compassion and his tender loving care will be straight towards you. Please listen very carefully. God, He will love you. No matter how bogus your Christianity is, He will love you. But on this earth, the harsh world we are in, if you don't develop your Christianity, you will have wounds and scars. God will heal you, but you will have wounds. Life on earth is not as kind as God is. And for you to escape certain tragedies. It's your Christian life. Can I hear you say Christian life? Christian life? Are you an imam or not an imam? That's your normal. Thank you Christian life. I want to say Christian life. I'm not saying jumping about and wearing the beautiful job T-shirts or fight the good fight or fake T-shirts or first love necktie or first love blouse. Yes, you can wear the first love panties, but what makes you a Christian is how much of the word of God that influences your life determines your actions. What you do, what you don't do is the Word of God. The influence of the Word of God is what makes you a Christian. And not wearing first love Braziac because you can you can surround yourself with a people and paraphernalia people and paraphernalia things, Christian things, gospel music, gospel God. What is the name of some some some some gospel artists picture in your room and you have the jargons praise the Lord, Hallelujah, water strong, but your your practical life minute by minute. How much of the weather God influences your minute by minute life? How much of your practical life when we leave this camp and you go back to flow with your friends, the unbelievers whom you have been washed and perfumed? Because not everybody here is a sheep. Some of us here are pigs. Pigs, no matter how we watch you, you are going back to the man and you are going back to the to the to the to the to the life that God is trying very hard to, to, to to winch you out of. Why don't you first love Church T-shirt doesn't make you a Christian. Try to be a Christian first love things Facebook Jesus has added you as a friend on his in his book of life confirm Romans 10/9 and 10. Meanwhile, you are watching pornography. I was young and because I was young I was of the notion that boys young boys liked pornography. Also if a pornography was her voice because me porn was informed 1 informed I was. I was feeding on pornography. It was under my bed when I wake up. I removed 1/5 times and I met Jesus. He informed 3 and it ended. But my rudest shock was to come. Well, as a pastor, I got to know that women were more on pornography than even men. Girls and pornography even, Even even at the codes, I hear that there are some girls, they come, they sit at the back watching pornography on iPads, girls. My wildest counseling and my greatest interventions in the area of pornography have been with girls, not boys. Fight to be a Christian. Fight. Fight to be a Christian. Fight to allow the Word of God to guide you. Fight your behavior, how you go to church, how you read your Bible, your Christian things. Some of you are Christians only when you are among Christians and you are here. You are here like that. You are here this evening. You are only a Christian. When you are among Christians, you look green. When you are among green, are you, are you a chameleon? What type of adaptive mechanism is that? When you lie in brown things, your your skin color changes to, to, to, to to brown. What type of what is that? When are we going to see you? Green among brown, green among whites? When will you stand out? You still have got appetite for beach parties. You call yourself. Is it a shepherd or elder or what? What do you call yourself? What's your what was your hand doing in somebody's trousers 2 months ago? Two months? Just two months ago. And you are here. You are looking at me. I'm also looking at you. You think I'm just talking. See, we had a camp. We had a camp, we had a camp somewhere around here. Unless I was talking, I said that as we are here, there are only two virgins here. Only two of you are virgins. So we just so shortly after Bishop came and he took off the microphone to to to start teaching within 50 minutes. I don't, I don't know how he just asked how many of you are virgins? Practically, you are virgins here and two sisters. Raise your hands only to in a camp, a camp. I will not tell you what type of camp it was. That was a camp of human beings in lighthouse. Listen, stop, stop masquerading as a Christian. Stop it and and bow your knees to God properly because you can mix with us all. You can be with us because of how we speak, our T-shirts, our things, and so you, you can be with that, but meanwhile your real soul, the soul in you, is not saved. Look at the people you work with because nobody has told you that it is a fight to be a Christian. To be a Christian, you must fight. But I thank God this is the camp. You are being told I survived. You see, up until now you thought it would just happen by chance, by serendipity. But it's not like that to be a Christian, to to continue to be a pastor. According to an elder, you are a pastor to continue to be a pastor. It doesn't happen just by your good naturedness to, to continue to be a pastor, you must fight. I was appointed a pastor 20 years ago and I'm still a pastor after 20 years. It's a fight. I had to fight something to come for this camp. We are fighting to be Christians because the world we live in is a, it's a, it's a, it's a, it's a rotten world. It's a useless world. There is nothing good outside these doors. Nothing. It's just, it's just light and glass and even in Africa it's just dust and huts. There's nothing out there. So God brings you from outside, puts you inside and you are not, you are not behaving properly. You are not behaving as a Christian. And I'm saying at this camp, I bless God for this camp because it is teaching you that you don't just become a Christian just by just by being there. It's not a default setting.
