08- Offensive Action

Welcome to track #8 of principles of war. The next one, offensive action. Now the next principle. Surprise. Did I give you? Oh, offensive action? OK, OK, hey, you know, you know the principles. Offensive action, Exodus 14, verse 15 And the Lord said unto Moses, why that cry us down unto me, speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward. Amen. All right. Now the British Army calls this offensive action. The Russian Army called this initiative initiative utilising surprise, decisiveness, aggressiveness, to continually strive to achieve and retain the initiative. All right. American military calls this principle offensive. Seize, retain and exploit the initiative. All right, Offensive action is the most effective and decisive way to attain a clearly defined common objective. All right, so move. Amen. Now, when you do not take the initiative and move, things rather happen to you. You see when you move, how many were blessed by our wonderful film stars? Are they fantastic stars? Wow, they are very clever. Now what do you call it? What do you call it? Offensive action. You see, by next year something will have developed and you'll be trapped by the year after. The trap will get bigger and it gets bigger. Each year that goes by comes with issues and things that unfold. As they unfold, you get more and more. You become more and more small in a big thing that is around you. For instance, if let's say you finish school and you are here by next year, you cannot just stay doing nothing. You have to get into the bank to start working at Zenith Bank. As you get into Zenith Bank, you cannot just stay there. That there will be another opportunity to go further and become a manager. Do you understand? So it will develop by the year after. Then the year after you would have had two children who have been registered at re Church school. Do you understand that they are going to go to school there? There's no places in the school. So you've registered them to go to that school. You get it. And then after that comes some other situation that will happen politically that will affect it. So things are happening to you. That is why you have to take the initiative and take a step and move. And then things are not just happening around you are happening to you, but things are happening because of your move that you made. Yeah. But if you sit down and you just sort of like, like, like marauding. So it's like life is just happening. Life is just happening. You see things happen all around you until you can't move. So in war, the person who sees it in advance and sees that I need to move myself. I don't have to wait for things to unfold and develop around me, but I need to make a move and take a step. They are the ones who win the wars. When Israel was going to fight with Egypt in the Six Day War 1967, they realized that Egypt was going to come and fight them all right. So they took the initiative in the Six Day War. And in one strike they struck the Egyptians and all their planes were packed at the airport, all the whole Air Force. And so in one move and they they attacked them at rush hour when all the pilots and all the army officers were in the rush hour in traffic in Cairo. And in one move they attacked and wiped out the whole Air Force of Egypt. So they, they could no more attack them. They had a huge Air Force that were going to use to attack air whatevers and water. They just bomb cleared all of them in one because they took the initiative and advanced. Now Hitler also took the initiative and entered Poland, entered. When he came into power, the first thing was that there was some area called exudating lands. He took it back then there was some part that that was I think in Czechoslovakia. Then he decided to add Austria. So he just marched into Austria and said you are all German, you all speak German, you are. So he took over. Everybody was fired. Then he started having talks with Poland. He said, you know, you know, you know, you know, everyone said no, don't do that. And he entered Poland 1939, got that to five O clock in the morning, 1st of September. He just drove in. Yeah, He just drove in. Within two weeks it was over. They took over the whole country and that that was Poland. Then the next year, they decided to invade France. And they, they everybody had. There was a way that everybody goes to France. You know, you go around because there's some huge forest in the middle that you cannot go that way. So he decided instead, he decided to go straight through that forest. And they formed the longest convoy that has ever been in the whole world. It was so. So most of the time they were just standing still. But no one expected that they would do that. This Creek, they attacked with pits straight down to France through the poorest. And they just came with all the cars in the combo Paris. But they saw that they they would bomb the city. And now Paris has so many important landmarks. They just surrendered. They just surrendered so that they would not bomb the city. Yeah. So they took over by June here, taking whatever the rest, Holland, whatever. They just passed them and added them. They were not any whatever. So by June he he, he, he, he was, he was, he was, he was winning. Then the next year again, 1941, he decided I'm invading Russia. Then he started driving, driving straight to Moscow, passed through Kiev. There were three million Russian soldiers. They, they captured over 1,000,000 years. They had, they had, they had their strategy and they just captured them, captured them, killed, captured and killed. Yeah. So he said as he kept taking the initiative, he kept on winning and winning until he met something that he had not seen yet before. Are you with me? So when you sit down and you say, oh, when life happens to you or you happen to life, look, if you are a brother and you don't take a decision about a girl that you will be with, a girl will take a decision to be with you, a girl. What happened to you? That's how girls are. A, a man attracts girls. The people that are with me, I, I by God's grace, have decided that they should be with me. If they are not with me, others will be with me. So a girl prevents other girls from coming close. So if you don't take a decision to happen, people just sort of slide into your life. That's as long as when a man's wife dies. Sometimes people who are wiser may be encouraged to marry you. If you don't marry, a lot of women will just they will happen to you. Women will happen to you. So don't allow a woman to happen to you or women to happen to you. Happen to a woman. Oh, oh, offensive action. It it wins wars. Yeah. You take the step, you make the move. Don't steal us all Moro day. There are aggressive girls. You see, there are a lot of girls who have aggression. And also they they talk. There are some girls who understand men. They, they, they, they, they, they, they. When, when you tell to that they also move to the left. They understand what you need and they understand your mood and how you are feeling. Naomi, the mother of Ruth, she gave Ruth the advice when she was going to say, look, don't go to him before he has eaten. When he has eaten and he has finished, then you go and lie down at his feet. She she gave she gave the the instructions how to actually go about getting Boas. Yeah. And and truly, as Boas was cooling pragmatically helping a nice girl that he saw in the field. And through his kindness, he got a woman that he had never intended to have. Yeah. In fact, when he was going to marry Ruth, he was not technically the one who was supposed there was another person who was supposed to marry her. So he called for a big family meeting and he told her. He said, oh, you are supposed to inherit this man's property, the one Alimalek who went to Moab and died. The husband of the other man said, oh, that is good. Then he said yes, but in addition to the inheritance you have to take, the wife said, oh, no, no, no, I have no intent. I can't add any woman. I've not, I've not intended because he was wise. He knew that to take a woman, it's not just, I mean falling in love. I mean, it was another my auntie is going to be falling in love at this stage, you know, it's just it's like a new responsibility. I said no, no, no, I have not intended to. I don't want his property and I don't want the woman. And boy, I said, OK, if you will not take it, then I will take care. Yeah, because she she has strategically happened to him as he wasn't taking decisions. Decisions were being taken. Ruth took the decision in the House. Take time with me to Ruth and that's how they look at this. Verse 2 Ruth Chapter 2 Verse 2 Ruth de MO Abitas said to Naomi, as she has traveled, she had an agenda. Please let me go to the field and glean among the ears of grain. After one in Hussite I may find fever. And she said to her, Go my daughter. So she departed and went and gleaned. You see, everyone said that, that I may find favour. And she happened to come into the portion of happy though happenstance that belonged to Boaz, who was of the family of Alimlek. And Boaz came from Bethlehem and said to the repress, May the Lord be with you. And they said, May the Lord bless you. And the Boaz said to his servants, Those young woman, which which girl is this? She was happening to him. She's a young Moabite woman who returned with Naomi and she said please let me glean and gather after the reapers. And well said to Ruth, listen, don't glean another field. Just stay here with my mates. Let your eyes be on the field. Indeed, I have commanded the servants not to touch you when you are thirsty. Go to the jazz. And what are the beginning of you See your kindness is the beginning. Then she fell on her face bowing to the ground and said to him, Why have I found favour in your sight? And you should take notice of me since I'm a foreigner. Wow, there's two of me the lot reward you that she said If I have found favour, you have comforted me spoken although I'm not one of your servants. All right, at meal time, one said to come, come and have something to eat. Something is happening to you. You are not happening to something. Then powers commanded his servants is being kind to her more. He said, let her gleam even among the sheep. Don't insult her. Also purposely pull out for her some of the grain of the bundles and leave it that she may gleam. Don't repeat it. In other words, leave extra so that she picks them up as if it's an accident. That's what I was talking about. Be gracious to the person if I say that the person is a beggar trying to take the leftovers, but do something extra kindness for her. So she cleaned the field until evening and she took it to her mother-in-law and and her mother-in-law said why did you why did you gleam? Why did you work? Who took notice of you that you were so blessed? So she told her mother-in-law the man is called Boaz. Aha. See the women are planning home. In the house sometimes women have meetings and discussions. You, the man, you are the victim. You don't know that a plan is being taken. Instead of taking offensive action, you sat down and plans are being taken before you realize you are with somebody you have not intended to be with. That's not the first thing you've intended to be with offensive action. The man is Boaz, huh? Then Ruth the Moabites said. Furthermore, he said to me, stay close. So she stayed close. All right, there's chapter 3. Then Naomi, your mother-in-law said my daughter, shall I not seek security for you that it may be well with you a plan near a plan near. Shall I not seek security for you? Should I not try to secure you somehow ask my daughter-in-law, should I not try to secure you? I've got to do stuff. Do you watch? Boa should have taken initiative and action that he was sitting that as marriage was happening to him without intending to be married. Now, is Boaz not your kinsman? Behold, he windows barley at the threshing floor tonight. Tonight I know where he'll be. You see, everybody has how they can come to you, a pastor through counselling. Some people, some people have chronic problems. And it's like, through that problem, you always talk to them, and the problem never goes away. Now notice what he said. Wash yourself, therefore. And when they married, they stopped washing themselves. But an experienced woman knew that you better wash yourself. Yeah, wash yourself and anoint yourself. Yeah, God now has to help Boaz because somebody is washing, somebody is anointing herself, anointing herself mean. And make yourself nice. Make yourself posh. Make yourself shine. That's why you should as soon as you see the person over shine BD, biology and demons. Biology and demons are working. Wash yourself, anoint yourself, shine your skin, especially this place. Shine. Put on your vessels, go down to the threshing floor, but do not make yourself known to the man. And so he has finished eating and drinking. It will greatly help you. Because the things which look natural, a lot of them are not natural. You need to actually learn things. So sometimes when people start at Maishka and they are surprised, so many things. This, this, this, this, this, so many things. Hey, all this is part of it. Say, yeah, a lot of things we think are natural. They are not natural. When I got married, I was not counselled for even one day. I discovered everything through the hard way. I tell you so fine experienced people, let experienced people are teaching you all the way. People are principal and the word of God are showing you things, popping your heart. Older women are supposed to teach younger women things. All the old women are full of bitterness and and discouragement, and their morale is finished. Excitement is gone, the joy is gone. Confidence is gone. Wow. And she said to her, Oh, that you say, I will do. I'll bath, you say. I should bath. I'll bath, you say. I know it. I will annoy you say I should dress out like this. I will dress like this. You say I should wait for this particular time. I will wait for this time, you say I should lie down like this. I will lie down like that, you say I should just uncover his feet. I shouldn't go and lie by his thighs. Because when you do that, you are showing yourself too fast and too aggressive. Like that girl. I told you when she got married she started doing things and the and the brother was lying and said what is this, What is this too much? So she lay at his feet through the morning. Chapter 4 Now Boas went up to the gate and sat down. And behold, the close relative of whom Boas spoke was passing by. He said, turn aside and listen. So he took ten men of the elders and said, Sit down here. And he said to the closest relative, Naomi has come back, Ruth, I mean Ruth, four by three, to sell the piece of land. So I thought to inform you, say buy it before those who are sitting here and before the elders of my people. If you will not redeem it, if you will redeem it, redeem it. But if not, tell me that I may know, for there is no one but you to redeem it. And I am after you. And he said I'll redeem it. I like it. I'm taking the land of Elimelech. Moreover, I have acquired Ruth and Moabiters. You have not acquired, you have been acquired. You have been acquired by Ruth the Moabiters, the widow of Malon to be my wife in order to raise up the inheritance. Wow. And all the people who were in the court said we are witnesses. May the Lord make the woman who is coming into your home, verse 11, like Rachel and Leah, both of whom who built the House of Israel, and may you achieve wealth in effort and become famous in Bethlehem. Wow. Remember that blessing I was telling you about? So they, they they they changed. They gave sandals. They took off his sandals and said the Bible said in those days, if you make a contract, you give the person your sandal. That's it. Doctor Ogu. I give him my standard.
