Welcome to track #8 of the road to Calvary. Listen, what are the Bible says? Keep thy heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life. What is in your heart is what determines what's happening in your ministry right now. If I meet a minister and I want to know whether you're going to do well, the first thing I want you to be your heart. To be clear. Have you forgiven and then have you asked for forgiveness? That comes with humility. If if you ever become close to me and I ever have to advise you, you will find out that that is one of the fairest things that I always start to advise you. You have to forgive and then you have to humble yourself and ask for forgiveness. Amen. You see that is the other thing you see in the road to cover humility, real humility, real humbling of yourself. Amen. Are you there when I when I was, you see when I started my church, most of us, we start our churches in the wrong way. Most of us have foundations that are not good. Babu says if the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do? You cannot do much. That's why I don't like to buy a building with a foundation on. I don't know what is in the foundation. If the foundation is not good, I cannot do much. I cannot don't know how high I can go. I don't know how what I can build. So I don't like to buy land with foundation on already. I like to buy the land and do my own foundation so that I know how far I can go. But you need to now ask God and ask people for forgiveness and also be humble because you have also offended people. How many know that you have offended? So all of us here are rebels. If they if I go to certain church and I mention your name, they will just kiss. They say that that guy, that guy May, may the wind and the rain meet him on the may the elements meet. One day I was with a certain pastor and I mentioned the name of one of the people that he had, he had trained and he said that guy. Then I was sitting in the sitting room. Then he pointed to the floor and he said here he prayed here, here he prayed here. He used to lie in my sitting room, my hall, and pray here. And I made a mistake of taking him abroad. He prayed here and he said, he told me, he wrote me a letter. He said I've never done anything for him before this and that and whatever and he has taken, he has sent him to start the church and the guy has taken over the church. He said I, I, he said he lifted inside and said the wind is against him. The wind is against him. The wind is against you. When your father is declaring that the wind is against you, he said the wind is against and he pointed. You see, he pointed to the exact place that he used. To pray, he prayed here. Here, here, this where they lie. My houseboys, they prayed here. And today you say I've never done anything for you before. Then he said one day I will be in the house and they will come and tell me that this guy is looking for me. You wait. And he said when they tell me, I will tell them release the dogs. Release the dogs. Nursing Lord is it? Should it be that when your name is mentioned, it provokes such as a response from the person you start to point it to the floor, calling on the wing to be against you, releasing dogs and other things? And some of us are like that. You are a rebel. You are a source of pain and head to somebody. You of course pain and head. You never know how to live, how to start, and you must know how to also humble yourself. And when asked for forgiveness generally, not just because they say you should do it, but in your heart you feel that you are wrong. That is the reason why we can't grow you. You can't have branches, you can't grow because you have never gone to seek whatever and your people have watched you rebel. So they are learning how to rebel by just observing. This is how to break away, this is how to this is how to defy, this is how to be and go wrong with this how never to say sorry. This is how never to apologize. This is how to be proud. We are learning a good example here and we shall follow it fully. Who are you when your name is mentioned to your? There are some people when they mention they just, they just, they just bring pain to my heart. I mean, I've also forgiven them, but they don't, they don't bring. So I just don't think about them. They don't bring good memories, they don't bring good memories. You don't feel happy about such people. Are you one such person? Although my ministry is quite different from Bishop Dunker Williams Weber. If you mention my name now, he will not be. He is one of his best people and he is one of my best people. Through the years, through all that has during the day that I used to step in action to, to be there. Up till today, many things are gone. I will, I will go there. I will go one day. I was telling him, I said we are not equals. We are not equals. It's like if you do this, I have to do this. I said no, I don't. You don't have to do anything for me. I said I have to do something for you. We are not what I do for you that you also do for me. It's like 1 one. I said we are not equal, you are. You are about me. My name does not cause him pain and regret. Some of us, we are the most ungrateful you see, and that is why you, that is why you will not prosper. Jesus 10 and said that, show me, for which of these good words are you about to stone me? You are coming to stone me. Say for which of the words I have done for you are you are going to repair with with stones you show me ungrateful. Ungrateful people are fit to be bent. If you are grateful to our fathers and grateful to our families and grateful to our churches, you think you will do well. You are destined and you are cursed. Even if the person has not cursed you, they say you are going to be in the ministry. These are the things that you have to clear. Say you want to be a preacher. A preacher of what? God is not a fool, God is not mocked. The thing is starts from the heart. Bible says keep thy heart with all the is the heart from where the issues and the ministry and the real things of life come from is the heart. That's why the heart is not cleaner. You can be doing hey, hey, hey, hey, whatever. Have you wondered why these principles you learn they don't work the steps you are given, they don't work the prayer. You go and pray for five hours, 10 hours is still there is no growth. You preach the messages that that person is preaching is still not working because in your heart you have, you don't forgive people and you also not humble yourself. Like Jesus humbled himself and he humbled himself and he became obedient, even obedient to the death of the cross. Now we will never humble ourselves for anything. Therefore we will never experience the blessing that we need to experience. I mean, you sometimes you see like charismatic, we are mostly rebels and and we don't understand rebellion. So when you break away from somebody and sport somebody say they even write it. He broke away from I saw somebody said he broke away with this number of people and started his church in this day and and we are happy about it. It's like that is it's something that we say that I broke away from this church at this time and I whatever and I saw it's something that we think is normal. Have you not seen most of the churches? We are mushrooming and we are not able to flourish and developed Motia Ministries. I said Motia Ministries a source of pain and a source of hurt. But you see many of the things we do, we do the amount of ignorance. That's why we are having this camp because as you hear, you are able to correct things. One day I had a vision. Listen, listen. Are you there? One day I had a vision. I saw a lighthouse. The lighthouse was bent like this. It was like this and it was buried underwater. And then I saw another lighthouse that was standing high up on a rock and it was shining. The light was came, the other one was broken down. And the Lord said you are the broken one down there. And I said, Lord, what is the cost? I wanted my chest to grow. Oh, I couldn't get even 100 people. I wanted the church to grow. The Lord. What should I do? And the Lord said you were wrong. You see, there are some things when you personally pray and you personally have your quiet time, God will tell you that you are wrong. And the Lord told me you were wrong when you were starting the church. Because when I was starting the church, I stepped aside and I said we started the church, but the people couldn't come and take their group. I should have given it to them. So although we were just a few people in a little classroom, it was wrong. So when they came, they came with the letter to speak setting because I've still got a letter to cast me out and so on. I said no problem, but and I didn't see what they were talking about. I said this group, I came here, I started it. I came, I started it. They were these few people. So I don't see what I'm doing wrong. You see, at that time I didn't see it. But after two years, I began to not, I began to see one of the laws. I said it's wrong, it's wrong, it's wrong. Go back to the people and tell them you are wrong and ask them whatever they say you should do, just do it. Oh yeah. And I went back to the people. I said you came and whatever and it's wrong. So whatever you say, even if you say I should close down, you take over whatever I'll do it you whatever you say I should do, I'm ready to do. And I was waiting. I was afraid what would they say? Because not easy If I see those are some of the foundation, I hidden't think. You never know all this when you see somebody preaching the same glory and say you go and preach the same message. You preach the same message and then do the same thing that a person did. And I went that day with Reverend Saki. We went and we said that we have, when we started talking to them and we told them we have come to apologise, they were shocked. Then they started crying. The leaders, they started to weep because they, you see, normally Christians, we Christians, we don't say sorry, we don't apologise. We, we are not, we fight about everything. We, we will all the Christian things. We don't do Christian things. If it's a Christian thing, we don't do, we do other things that are not Christian things, our Christian things to do with forgiveness, with love, with whatever. We don't do it, we do something else. He started crying and he said, so at the end of the meeting I said so whatever, what do you want? Whatever. And they said one thing that we want. I said, what is the one to come and preach in the church? I said, oh easy. Oh so easy, so easy. I didn't tell them it was so easy, but I was so happy saying, oh you can come and preach. Please come and preach. Organize them and they come and preach. We're happy and I move on and I have a better foundation. Yeah, I have a better foundation. What I'm doing. Amen. And I can acknowledge them. I have good relations with them. They are all my friends. I mention where I came from. I am not shy of it. I talk about it. And they are also proud of me that I came from them and that I'm one of the products that came from there. Calvary Rd. Does it? I said does it? Yeah. I'm not ashamed of it. The Bible says the days of ignorance God winked at. Sometimes when you are ignorant, you do. How many have done some really crazy things in your days of ignorance? But when you get the light, start to say, hey, you know, this is not the right way. There's a better way, there's a higher way, there's a way that can lead you to go further and higher and deeper in God and the ministry. And that's why I'm sharing these things with you. What I've been through, what I have survived, what I have experienced, forgiveness, love, it's the highest weapon and I'm so glad. I remember one day Bishop Nick did something and I was offended, but I decided to practice love at the end of the day and I decided to flow in a Christian love way. And I remember when Archbishop Idahosa came to Ghana two weeks before he died, when the Archbishop left Cristido Tete's church, when the Archbishop left that church and was going to the next church. His churches redemption are it was just a Bishop Nick and the Archbishop in the car with the driver and he pulled me as a car and I went into the car and when I got into the car I was the only other person in the car and I was taken to my church and he came to my church. You see this spirituality, the man is about to die and he's going around laying hands with people blessed. So he came to my church where we had started building. We were building whatever when we got into the church. And you know, if I have quarrel with him, it could never happen. You see, that's why I say you people don't quarrel. See, you should not be that when somebody thinks of you, the person is annoyed and start waving his hand and saying that he prayed here, the women S against him, this and that and that the dogs are going to be released. When we got to the church the Archbishop said when we walk he said this is a great work. But after that I never thought it was a great work. He said this is a great work. I always remembered this is great, but I was thinking this is a great man who has done so many great things, how would he see anything great in water? But when he said it, it it has stayed with me that it's a great thing and I should keep on doing that. It's a great thing. Then he came from the others that were constructing this side, and he came to this other side and he entered the church. Where do we walk? And we got to the middle of the stage, opposite the stage. He said kneel down and I kneel down. He said bring the oil and he goes some oil. And he laid hands. When he laid hands on me, it was like fire on my head. It was like there was a fire that was burning in my head. I'm telling you really. And he prayed for me and he got up. I got up and he walked out of the church and he went. Two weeks later he was dead. You see, these are all spiritual things, But I would never have experienced that. If it's like this, this man, I don't talk to him. See that guy, he's troubled the church. This guy, this and that, this and that, whatever. No, we don't talk like that. We don't talk like that. That's all Christianity. We are going higher than that now. I said we are going higher than that now. I said we are going higher than that now. I don't care where you came from. I don't care who you came from. I don't care what it is. Some of us have to say sorry, I said. Some of us have to say sorry. Some of us have to appreciate where we are coming from. Who? Who brought us up? Jesus Christ. Look, let me tell you, the day he was anointed, what did he do? The day that the Holy Ghost came upon him, he had bowed himself down to John the Baptist like this to put John the Baptist put him under with his head under. And when he went under, then the dove came from heaven. And then a voice, he said, this is my son, this is my son, this is my son. Have you wondered why nobody is saying this is my son to you? Because you are so big, you are greater. This you are not his son. This is my son. I like him. He has not preached in one message, no preaching. But I like him. No preaching. So what? I preach and preach, but they don't like you. He had not started a church, He had not done anything. He had this church had not grown. But he said, this is my son, humble yourself even before your church members. Some of us, we can't preach well because we don't want to look. We don't want to look funny. This is some of the stories we have to tell the people. But you, you, you want to look good. But you will be a better preacher when you start to open your mouth and tell the stories. This is my son. I like my son. I'm happy with him. I'm pleased with him. Holy Ghost, descend on him now. Holy Ghost, come on him. Why? Because he's humble himself in front of John, and he's joined the church like everybody else. Holy Ghost, fall upon him. On the road to Calvary, you will find yourself being humble. Without being humble, look, you will go nowhere in this church. You will go nowhere. Anybody who rises and I've come to see you've got to go down. And then you find yourself coming up. I said coming up. I said coming up, coming up. Are you glad you are coming up? Lift your hands to the Lord. Thank him. Mandola Makamanali. This is my son, This is my daughter. I like this particular son. Listen, do you know that in the church a younger person can be your father? Huh. Do you know that John the Baptist was just six months older than Jesus? So if you are born in March, as somebody's born in September, usually you will say that they are the same age because we are all born in 94. And yet he humbled himself before John. And some of us, we are so conscious how old you are, whether it's a man or whether it's a woman. That's why we are not great in the Kingdom. And some of us, we want to honor men of God who are far away. Maurice Cerullo and this and that. There will always be somebody in town nearby with a lot of faults around you that you can see. And God will say, you see, honor him because Jesus had Isaiah and all these guys that he was flowing with. But there's John the Baptist here. Go to his church now. Humble yourself. You will say Amen. It's also a good message. I said it's also a good message. You see, I have people far off, but there are people around that God makes me relate with. Clearly you can have whatever Benny Hinn. And also it's easy to flow with them because they are on video. You don't see them in real life video. It's easy to flow with somebody who is on a video. When I went to Kennedy, I asked the I asked the principal of the Bible school, do you have any problems in the school? You know what, you know what they told me? He said, oh, yeah, He said, look at this conference we are having. We had, he said, look at people come from all over the world to hear a prophet. And these students, they are just here on campus. They wouldn't come from the conference. It is easy to flow with a man on video, but when you are there live, then you will see that the whole thing is turning into a different thing. So just here and here, they cannot cross the road. People have come from all over the world to come here, just here and here for the students to cross the road and come. Yeah, and the house, they wouldn't come, he said. Those are some of the problems we have, is it not? Also some of the problems that we also have? So it's easy to flow with the man on the video, but God will give you a real 12 on the ground for you to flow with him. And as you open your heart and as you flow and you say that, yeah, yeah, you are learning and you are flowing, How come you can't flow? How come you are so fussy about the person's problems? Your problems are more, you are worse. He is better than you. I think Bishop Danganwila is better than me. Yeah. And that's how I'm supposed to think. Because if I have not been only up to Class 3 in my educational life, I don't know whether I will be able to accomplish what he has been able to accomplish, interrelating with all the presidents of West Africa and ministry with presidents and what and so many issues that he has dealt with, I don't know. And look at me. I have been to Class 3456 and then from 12343, from Lower 6, Upper 6, then university for seven years. That's why I think you are better than me. How many think the person next to you is better than you? You better start thinking that way fast. Tell the person next to you are better than me. I'm sure that you are better than me. When you go home, tell your wife, tell your husband, you are better than me. You are better person than me. You are better, I tell you. You see, when you see somebody who is like a colleague and you have to tell the person you are better than me, there is something that dies in you. You feel like you are better than me. Are you really better than me? Are you really better than me or you just the same? When you see somebody who is like a colleague or you're junior or whatever, it's like you are better than me. It's like, Are you sure that if the person is far ahead or whatever you say you are better than me. It's easy. That person surrounds you are better than me. Do you really think so? Let this mind be in you. Let this mind be in you, which was in Christ. Humble yourself, humble yourself so that God can let you up. God can take you to the less higher level of His calling in His ministry. That's the Calvary Rd. That's the road, that's the road to the cross, that's the road to the ministry. Something dies in us. So you look at this as you are. You are better. You are better than me. I will before you tell your wife, tell your husband you are a better person than me. Most of us feel that it's our husband or wife who is causing all the problem in the mind. Just look at that. You are better than me. I'm the cause of all the problems. You are better than me and the cause of all these things. You are better than me. Pray for me. Sometimes I I ask the people in my office to pray for me and they are confused. I say pray for lay hands on me. Lay hands on me and pray for you are better than me and they don't want to pray for me. In our churches, we it's like if you are the pastor, it's like nobody can lay hands on you. Why? Because it's subject to submit yourself one to another. So pray for me. Just pray for me. Listen the Bible pray for me. I pray for you. Pray for me. I'm nothing. That's what brings the glory of God. That's what causes things to appear from the sky. One day I was preaching in an auditorium in South America. I forget where it was. As I was preaching, a dove came flying and the people lifted up there. Hey, yeah, a dove came flying through. They were so happy. Whether it's a real dove or a spiritual dove, it was a dove. I said it was a dove. Yeah, do you want the daft to appear? Do you want God to start to look at your ministry and say this is my son? Do you want to really go high? Then go down, humble yourself in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. I believe you see the success prosperity message. It doesn't let us understand humility. One brother, his fellow pastor, was having a serious marital problem. So he came to visit and he said to his after he talked to the wife, the wife wouldn't listen and the whole marriage was breaking up. When the father was going back to America, the pastor said to his his friend, he said this your problem. I have to be honest, I cannot relate with. He said anything I touch tends to gold. Anything I do, there's nothing that I cancel. It doesn't work. I pray for it doesn't work because I believe in the word and so I can't relate with this problem. And in the end, that marriage got broken completely. The brother was very sad. Then a few years later, this brother was also there that he developed cancer, cancer after struggling with it for some time. And it was like the daughter. It's like you don't know whether he's going to die or what. Brother called this other brother who he said he cannot understand his problem. He cannot relate with certain problems that don't seem to be solvable. And he said I now understand your problem because he has now met a problem that has no solution. It's called semiyazzo. Make sure you get that tape, semiyazzo, something you cannot control. This is when you are proud that you start to talk because you haven't met something you can't control, you haven't met an assistant when you haven't seen something, you cannot control an assistant. You cannot control a wife, you cannot control, a husband you cannot control. A situation, financial situation you cannot control. That's when you start talking a certain way. But when you experience one or two, when a guy experience this some few times, he realized. Are you listening to me? Yeah. Humble ourselves. Will you accept when you see another church that this church is better than my church? Oh yeah. Better than my church. Better than my church? What is there to name from that church? There's always something to learn. Lift your hand and thank Him. Father, we thank you for your blessing, thank you for your word, thank you that you are taking us higher. In the name of Jesus, In the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, you may be seated. He's lifting me higher and higher and higher, lifted up by the Spirit of God. He's lifted me higher and higher and higher lifted up. By the Spirit of God, he's. Lifting me higher and higher and higher lifted up by. The Spirit of God, he's lifting me. Higher. And higher. Sing with me. Is it to me higher and higher and higher, lifted up by a spirit of heart? It's living to me higher and higher and higher and little up, Man of spirit, upon with you home spirit. Oh. Do what you want to do, Lord. Do you what you want to do? We just want us. We just. All ourselves with ourselves, you and you as a child. Woo, Holy Spirit. He's led to me higher. He's led to me higher and higher and higher and higher. You can you Holy Spirit, listen. If you don't know these songs, get a new song and go home with it. But I've also learned something. When you have a new song, it brings a new flow into your church. Yeah, so take a new song home with you and you have a new flow. But the new songs always, that's why I always want new songs, because new songs bring a new atmosphere, the new flow and something new comes with a new song because it's Bible says be filled with the Spirit speaking to yourself in songs, spiritual songs, in making melodies. So you are filled with a new level and realm of the Spirit with a new song. So sing and this is sometimes you find. I was a time as a pastor, I didn't used to sing, but I have learned that singing makes you be filled with the Spirit. I believe more in prayer than singing. But if you want to be filled with the Spirit, you have to sing because the Bible says be filled with the Spirit. Speaking to yourself in spiritual songs and silks and Him making melody in your heart to the Lord. That's how you get filled. Have you not noticed that sometimes when you start singing, there's a flow and accept it whatever more than prayer. So everything has its role and that thing that you feel when you start singing is called being filled with the Spirit, he said. Be not drunk with mind, but be filled with the Spirit speaking to yourself and sound spiritual. Sinking, sinking, sinking, singing. Pastors must be singing, Pastors must be singing and making melody in our hearts. Have you got your offering lifted up? Father, we thank you for this offering. In the name of Jesus, Amen. I shall receive the offering, please. Humble yourself by the side of the Lord, He shall lift you up. Humble yourself by the side of the Lord, He shall lift you up. He shall lift you up. He shall live you well. You humble yourself by the side of the Lord. He shall live you well. If you humble yourself by the side of the Lord, He shall lift you up. He shall lift you up. Humble yourself by the side of the Lord. He shall live you up. The way down is the way he shall let you out. The way in is away, out and all. He shall let you out the way forward. Is. Away back the Lord shall let you out. The way up is away. Down. The Lord shall lift you up. If you just humble yourself by the side of the Lord, He shall lift you up. Humble yourself by the side of the Lord. He shall lit you up. He shall lit you up, He shall lit you well. Just humble yourself by the side of the Lord. He shall lit you up the way. He up is away down. He shall let you up. The way in is away down. I know He shall let you up. The way forward is away. Back the Lord, He shall lit you up the seaward. The way up is away down. He shall lit you up if you just humble yourself by the side of the Lord. Peace shall lift you up. Just humble yourself by the side of the Lord. He shall lead you up. Just come on down and and humble yourself, the Lord, He will let you out. I said, come on down and humble yourself. He shall let you out that he shall live. You are the law, He shall live. You are just hungry yourself by the side of the Lord. He will surely lift you up. Come on, he shall let you out. I said if you wanna go out, you gotta go way down. Hello. He shall let you out. And you just humble yourself by the side of the law. He shall live. The way up is the way down. We are in a church and we are preaching Christian good messages. That's the way for us to choose the. Way down. In relation to one another and God is going to bless us. Do you believe God is changing your ministry? How many feel that God is changing your ministry? Do you believe that He's changing your ministry? You think He's taking you to the next higher level? When you deal with the people of God, always have a humble attitude. God will bless you because you know they are his sheep. He'll die for them, so he's watching me. How do you treat them? Before I came to preach, I prayed. I said Lord, happy to tell your sheep, your people, what you have for them. I can't just come and say anything. I have to say what he wants. His people, they belong to him. Paul said whose I am and whom I said I belong to God. In other words, you say I belong to God, you belong to God, we belong to God. You can't just go and talk to people who belong to God. Anyhow, they belong to God. Be careful, be humble, God, they are royal people. They belong to God and God will bless you when you treat them kindly and nicely and carefully rather than trying to be a God our Lord. One day I was in a certain church and somebody came, wanted to see the pastor and he was not able. He was so angry. He said, is he a president? Is he, what is he this is he the because he felt that the pastor was more like a president, not easy to see. Forgive us Lord, we are going to do your will. Amen.
