Welcome to track #8 of tasters or partakers. Hallelujah, right 10. Video numbers 13. OK, OK, OK, good. Now we are. Going into the greatest tasting experience of all. Time. Yeah, and the unfortunate. Result of the. Great taste. What happened? Numbers 13. The. Greatest taste tasting experience of all time. History's greatest taste. All right. Can I have the other microphone please? Can I use that one? No, thanks very much. OK. Hello. Ron Now then the Lord spoke to Moses saying, send out for yourself men so that they may spy out the land. Amen. And the Lord speak to Moses, saying, send out for yourself men, so that they may spy out the land of Canaan, which I'm going to give to the sons of. Israel so. Shall send you shall send a man from each of their tribes, everyone a leader among them. So Moses sent them from the wilderness of power of the commandment of the Lord. These were the. Names Reuben, Shab, Shab, Shafa, the son of Hori, Caleb son of Jeffrey from the tribe of Issachar and so on. More no names Naphtali. Now when Moses sent him out to spy the land of Canaan, he said to them. Go up. There into the Negev and go up into the Hill Country, see what the land is like. Whether the people who. Live in it. Are weak or strong. Whether they are? Few or many? How is the land? How the cities? Which they are. Are they like open camps or with fortifications? How is the land? Is it fat or lean? Are they try trees in it or not? Make an effort to get some of the food of the land now the time was. The first ripe grapes. So now we're going to taste and it. See what the? Land is like one taste. See what she's like. G Zigzag, Ziggy Liggy. Whether the people who. Live in it, are strong or weak whether shes strong or weak. Whether there are? Few or many of whatever. How is the? Land in which? They live is. It good or bad? How was the food like good food or bad food? How are the cities? In which they live, are they like? What's a character like? Is she open? Open. Camps. Or. Some of the. Fortifications she very guarded, restricted she's. Stubborn she flowing. She's stubborn. Doesn't listen, doesn't agree. Never say yes. Never say no. Never understand, never agree. Never change your mind. Never give in. Never give up. Never bend. Never bow. Never. Hey, I was. I was. Open all fortifications. Oh, taste and see. Whether the land is good or not, all right. Is it how's the land? Is it fat or lean? Is she fat or lean? What size? Yes, she fat. Or slim you. See like a with. Us Are there trees? In it or not? Any trees has anything? Been planted there before, others been there before. So they went up and. Spyed out the land from the wilderness. Of Zen they came to Hebron, and when they came to the valley of Escrow they countdown there's 23A branch with a single. Cluster of grapes. And they carried on a pole between two men, that place was called. The Valley of Escrow because of the cluster. With the sons of Israel cut down from there now when they returned from spine verse 25 by the end of 40 days. When they returned from spine on the land at the end of 40 days. They proceeded to. Come to Moses and Aaron, and to all the. Congregation of the. Sons of Israel in the Wilderness of Paron and Kadesh, and they brought back word to them, and to all the. Congregations showed them the first fruit. Of the land, they told him. We went into the land you sent us. It it certainly. Does flow with milk and honey and and? This is it's fruit. It is, it is good. It's a good idea. Nevertheless, the people who live in the land are strong. Cities are 45. Very stubborn, very large. Hey mega. Moreover, we saw the descendants of Anak. Amalek is in the land of the Negev, and the Hittites and Jebusites and Amorites are living in the Hill Country, and the Canaanites are living by the. Sea and by the side of Jordan. And Caleb quieted the. People before Moses said. We should by armies go up and take possession, but the men who had gone up with him said we are not able. We are not able. We we can't go. It's not going to be work for they are too strong for us. So they gave out to the sons of Israel a bad. Report of the land which they had spied out saying the land. Through which we have gone inspired it out is a land that divorce its inhabitants, and all the people who we saw in it are men of great. Size. There. Also we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak a proud of the Nephilim and we became like grasshoppers in our own side and. We so we were in their side glory. Be that God numbers. Chapter 14. Then all the congregation. Lifted up their voices. And cried. After the big taste, you would have thought that after tasting it's good. It does. Flow with milk and honey the. Ministry is a good thing. It was a blessing to be a blessing to someone. The person was so happy. Our people were so touched. I was so glad to be a blessing to somebody. It is a good thing. It is a great thing. But but but. Is it? Is it not amazing? They are not going to go in. They are not. I mean it's. This is one of the. Most depressing parts of the Bible. This part and Matthew. 26 These are the depressing parts of the Bible to read. They are about to destroy themselves after tasting, they are not going to go in. Can you believe it? I mean a guy. Even bothered to read it, they are going to shout, they are going to say bad things. All those things are in people's heads. And. This one, they didn't say it openly. The Mermaid. And God had it. And. God has heard what we are also saying. One time I sent a missionary and. When he was away. He sent someone to ask somebody to do something for. His wife and the person told his wife. That Bishop spoke about. Going to the mission. Field. With wisdom and sacrifice. But it. Seems your husband used. Only the sacrifice path, but he didn't use the wisdom path. It's fantastic. These are in people's heads. Then all the congregation. Lifted up their voices and cry and the people wept. That night. All the sons of Israel grumbled. Against Moses and Aaron. And the whole congregation said to them, world that we had died in the land of Egypt, world that we had died in this wilderness. Why is the Lord bringing us into this land to fall by the sword? Our wives and our little ones will become plunder. Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt? So they said to one another, let us appoint a leader and return. Let's go to another church where they are not. Forcing us to kill. Ourselves for Jesus, let's appoint for ourselves a new. Pastor, not this guy. This guy, his father has money. That's why he's. Saying well. Let's get another church. Well, there's a. Pastor who just preaches. Good messages. Yes. Peace. Love, hope and patience. Somebody wants to spoil our. Life and our career. So stay in your stay in the. Church and be and develop your career. You don't understand what I'm saying. Let us appoint a leader, and let's. Return most and Aaron. Fell on their faces in the presence of the assembly of the congregation Joshua, who had gone to spy on the. Land they tore their. Clothes and they spoke to all the congregations. Saying. The land which we. Passed to spy out or to taste. Is an exceedingly. Good land. If the Lord is pleased with us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us. A land which flows with milk and hand only. Do not rebel. Do not fear the people of the land, for they will be our prey their. Protection has been removed. From them the Lord is with us. Do not fear them. But all the congregations said to stone them with stones, and the glory of the Lord appeared. In the tent of. Meeting to all the. Sons of Estra El Amen. So. This is a famous. Story how the people. Complain and complain. In the end the Lord changed his mind and said look. Forget it, I'm going to use. Somebody else. So that's why God is now going to use a whole lot of young. People, because a whole lot of older people, they couldn't go. Now what are the 10 reasons why people do not move from being? Tasters to become partakers? Amen. How many want to do that? Are you sure you want to know? That OK. Tell me the Deuteronomy chapter 1 Deuteronomy Deuteronomy chapter 1 Deuteronomy chapter one verse 22. Now in Deuteronomy chapter one, verse 22, you have right there. OK, a narration. Are you there? Listen, let me look at me. Let me explain something. God, look, give me some volume somebody's making. Me, shout God. God, God, God, God, God can you? God, all right, God. Decided to take the. Children of Israel out. So in Genesis. We had God created. Adam. Eve. Then we had Noah. Then we had Abraham. We had Abraham. We had Isaac, We had Jacob. Jacob had children. Then at the end of Joseph came. They went to Egypt in Genesis, ended, then in Exodus God started to raise up Moses and brought the people out. By chapter 12, he was doing this Passover thing and they were on their way out. By chapter 25, they were in the. Middle of the wilderness somewhere. Across the Red Sea. And all that and. They were building a Tabernacle, then Leviticus, he gives a lot of laws that he was giving to them and so on. And then by numbers. The Leviticus they. Go to numbers, then by numbers. 14/12/13 he started to say to them. OK, now go. We are. We've reached. And border now so. Let's go in. Are you with me? Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers. So that's where we are in numbers. Their numbers. They didn't go so. Chapter 14 is where God said because of this, 10 times you've complained against me and so on, we are not going to go again. The number 16. Korai and these guys rebelled and said you haven't taken us to any promised land. It doesn't. That Moses wasn't. Taking the people. But they who didn't? Go. Do you understand? So. That was the end of numbers. So then he told them that. They will all die. That was at the hand of the Lord. Was a given they all perished in the wilderness, he said. Until the. Last. One died when the last person died. In the Bible, anytime men of God die. Or people that are significant. In the will of. God, it signifies usually. Something new is coming. With some new people, yeah. So. You see that when Abraham died, Isaac. Came on the scene. We started you never. Read about Isaac Till. Abraham dies. Then you never read about Jacob till Isaac dies. You can only. Start reading about Jacob after Isaac is dead. You don't. Read about two of them at the same time. Are you there when Jacob dies then? You hear? Not about any one. Person about the 12 tribes of Israel. Now these guys. Were so rebellious they. Died all of them as in the hand of the. Lord was against each one of them, I said. Your corpses will fall in the wilderness, all of you. And the children. Who you said? Will die when they go to the promised land, they will live and they will enter the promised land so. Every male. That is from 20 years and above will die. That was at the hand of the Lord was. Against them until they all died except Joshua and Caleb so. Death. Is very much connected. To what God decides. Are you there? Are you listening? So in Deuteronomy. After the people have died then. Moses got told, must now pass. Through this and that's why he said. When you see the sons of Amman, don't. Fight with them. Pay. Pay, transport and go through when you see these people don't. But then Sahan, king of hedge bond. Then he told him so. Now at the end of that, then Moses. Stood there and said. And I was telling you that when one person died, and like Aaron, when? Aaron died and Ilyaza came on the scene when Moses died and he starts to read up Joshua. Now you you never when? Jesus died and start. To hear of the disciples ministry so. Anytime if man of God is the man of God, there's a some other person is coming or some other group of things are coming. Amen. All right now in Deuteronomy, Moses sat down with the people. And said let me. Recount. All that has happened because we are about to enter the promised land. Are you with me? So he started to go through everything and narrate you did this, you did this, you did this. So in Deuteronomy chapter 1. He recounts what they did and how they behaved. In Numbers 14, do you understand? I'm about to read Deuteronomy. With you do you see? Are you there all right? How many want to drink some coffee? Louisa looks sleepy, but you look sleepy. And I see you look. Video also look sleepy. Yeah. It affects me when I'm preaching. I would prefer that you are not. I prefer you have a nap and you come back. It really affects me. I can't. I can't preach with that. Really, really has an effect. On my people. I'm preaching for a long. Time and I'm I'm the one who is. Exhausted so I when. When you are like. That it ministers. To me, more exhaustion. I'm lifting up myself. Against what I've seen. So don't let me talk about it again. Please ladies, I see. It when you are looking sleepy lap. Like this? Or not, Please, I beg you. I don't want to see it. Amen To go and go and have a nap, Pastor Joe. Escort the ladies to. Have a nap and. To come back after. Go have a nap and come back when you are when you are refreshed. Please. Have a nap, have a nap. Have a nap when you are refreshed and you come. Deuteronomy chapter 1. Verse 22. Now go to verse. 2020. Have a nap. Drink some coffee. Come. Back in an hour. Or two, we'll still be here. I said. To you. You have come to the Hill Country of the Amaris with the Lord. Our God is about to give us. Amen. And anybody else who hasn't slept in the night. Maybe you were awake, you were not able to sleep, You're feeling. Tired. You need to have a nap. Otherwise you destroy. The camp for. Everybody. Not yourself. Everybody. Including those who also. Listen to the CD one day. To be destroyed for all of them just because of you. So if you're. Tired you better. Take it after you. Listen to the message that you didn't hear. Do you understand there's nothing bad I'm saying? Not sure if you. Didn't sleep you? Must be tired. OK, where is she? I said to you. You have come to the Hill Country the arm rise with. The Lord your God is about to give. Us and see the. Lord, your God has. Placed the land before you. Go up. Take. Possession as the Lord God of your Father's has spoken to you. Do not. Fear or be dismayed. Then all of you approached me and said, in this case he. Said that the people came to approach him, say let's send. Spice, but in numbers. He doesn't say that. In numbers. He says that. A lot said. Told him to send spies or he sends spies. But this one he says that the. People came and approached him that we want to. Serve some tasters in. Deuteronomy I with me. The whole beast. Happened in Numbers 14. We finished Numbers and then we started Deuteronomy, and they're about. To cross. Are you? Understanding what I'm. Explaining OK, so now see the. Lord of God has placed the land before you all. Right. And then all of you. Approached me and said. Let us send men before us. That they may search. Out the land. For us and bring. US. Word of the way by which we should go up. And the cities. Which we shall enter. Have you got that? OK. The thing pleased me. Do you see? And I took twelve of your men, one man for each. Tribe. They turned and they went. Up into the hill. Country and came to the valley of Eshkol. And spied it out. All right, next one. You are too slow. OK, they turned and went into the Hill Country and came to. The Valley of Escollins. Spat it out. Then they took some of the. Fruit in their hands and brought it down to us and they. Brought us back a report and said it is. A good land. Which the Lord our God is about to give us, you see yet. You see now this is now he. Starts to recount the reasons why even though they had tasted. They did not. Go in. This is where he starts to actually say all the things. And there are 10 of them. Right in this passage. And there is one which is not in. This passage because it. Comes up by another. Group which brings up another whole beast. We will come to them later. Are you there OK? So now it. Says yet you. Were not willing. And that is the first reason. Unwilling. You are unwilling, you see. It's not that you don't understand. It's not that reasons have not been. Given. But you are not. Willing. You don't want to. Sometimes some husbands want to have. Sexual relations with their wives. It's not that the wives don't know the word. It's not that they don't have the body. It's not that they are sick. But they are not willing. Yeah, unwilling. And they would do. Something unwillingly, yeah. You may, you may be obedient, but unwilling. Are you with me? A sudden husband he was. Sitting in a car. With me and. He was crying. And we were sitting. In On the Street. Somewhere and it was raining and you know. It was cold outside, so we're sitting in. The car, I always remember that environment and. Because it was cold. Outside, and we were. Hot and we were inside the all the. Windows had become misty. So we're sitting there and he was telling me his story because he had got to sleep with somebody. Whom he didn't want to sleep with. And it had brought a whole problem for him. Are you with me? Right. Are you revived? Already I. Said he should go and have a nap. Oh, you think that? It's a, It's a She's OK, all right. It was her posture. OK. OK, I was telling you a story. What was I telling you? Misty. The whole car was misty. We couldn't see. I was cold. And he was crying. And because he had. Begun to sleep with. Somebody that he didn't. I mean originally. Intend to sleep with. Then he started to. Lament about his marriage and he said you don't have an idea, I said. What he said. He said sometime my. Wife would just go and lie on the bed and say OK come. So be lying the. Naked. OK, come. And he said I've. Suffered. And through his surface. He went to. Fornicates. And he lamented. Oh. Yeah, mobile, because when we see the sisters. In the chair you. Look so eager, so willing. You look so willing, especially when you are talking to pastors. When you are talking to us as ministers, you, you look so willing. You have smiles. Broad smiles. You look so eager and willing, but in real life, your faces. Are not so smiling. Your hair is covered with a Captain Hot Dogs cap. There's no willingness the face has. Come it is. True or it's not. True, yeah. They're saying it's true, but they know themselves the. Brother. I'll never forget he was. Crying, he was so sad. Because he was a. Pastor and his church was. Brought. She just lied to the system. OK, come. So just look at her lying there, their face angry. Oh, OK, come tell your neighbor. OK, come. Oh. Mersey So they rebelled. Are you there? The next one is Rebellion. I'm just listing them that we're going to go through. Then the third one is grumbled in your tents. You. Grumbled in your tents. You see, it's not that you. You not say. That things are not said openly. We are talking about what people say privately. That's what you are really saying, yeah. You see what you say quietly. Sometimes why people don't know what to. What to say to me? Then they start to share. Scripture. They start to share scripture of a quotation, but what they are really thinking? It's not what they. Say so if. If you want to relate with somebody, say. What you are really thinking? That's how you can relate with some not. Official things like scripture, like quotation. Or something that you. Think is supposed to be said. When you see. This person, he said, only a spiritual person can't be. Spiritual all the time. I'm not spiritual all the time and I try to be in the spirit all the time, but I mean. We are not as spiritual. I mean when I'm when I'm with my wife, I'm not as. Spiritual as I would be if I'm in a prayer meeting. Yeah. Look at me. Spiritual all the time. Yeah, look at me. Spiritual all the time. You get it. So I mean, so now people want to just like when they see, you know, they just remember a scripture. Or the. And they see, you know, they just remember something spiritual, it's like. But you remind them of spirituality. Vision that they had or something to do with full time ministry. Now when they see, you know they only talk about full time ministry. You feel that as a Bishop there is only full time ministry. No. Be yourself. Be. Yourself. Learn how. To go higher through the. Things you say and how you speak. Is it some of you? You don't know why? What's his name? The guy didn't choose you. The guy who tasted. And didn't stay on. It's some of the. Things you said, it's true. It's some of the things you said. Because I'll tell you. You know this guy, King Ahasiros, the husband of Vashti? Yeah. All the ladies in town were. Brought to him. Now if you. If you take all the ladies they'll they'll you'll probably fit into about 5 or 6 groups fair like. This slim like this, plump like this. Dark like this? You just fit exactly. So after that time when you come, you be like just like the other one that came. Just like that, he's trying everybody. So what will now distinguish? Is the way you. Speak or even what you see. Whether there's something in you that. Minister to the person. That's what people don't know. So I'm just giving you a tip. This is how you speak. Even me when I. Talk to people. I know people. It's what they say, what they say to me, what they don't say. That's how I know people you can know somebody about. What they say. Sometimes in Ghana, people just like. To come and. Just. Sheepishly smiling. You feel like it's. Busy. You are humble. So when you. Don't say anything. Nobody knows you one day. There was a certain. Brother. He went to work. In a bank there was a conference. He attended the conference. He sat at the back. They finished giving the lecture. It was question. Time and. Different people were contributing. Then he. Put up his hand, can I say something? So he spoke when he finished speaking. The bank manager asked. The person who said who is that guy? He's a. He's a member. I was a member. Of our church. In Kumasi. He said. Who is that guy? And the bank manager said. Buy that guy a car. Gave him a car for what he said. Yeah, and the reason? Why I got? To know was that. I had come there for a convention. I was ministering and I said. I see God give me a car. He felt that. He believed that he received a car. I didn't know how you ever get a car at this stage. Yeah. Then just. Suddenly he went for. Spoke up. Yeah. What but you? See I also use it to. Show a miracle. I also use it to show that. When you. Speak you are it is. It is like it's like showing your body times 7. It shows your inner inside. Yeah, it's like the. Inner. Part of the person. Is brought out. You see and then when. You talking to somebody who is experienced, he knows where. People are pretending or trying to make up things to say, yeah. So how you speak? It it really makes you. Even at your your. Work. One time I was with some American pastors. And then? One guy was saying to me, you know, I've only. Met 2 Africans who carry is. I've only met two African pastors who carry themselves the way. You do. I was. Just thinking, I know what he's thinking. Carry themselves the way you carry yourself, and so on. And. Two things that I do. When I'm whenever they so anytime you I'm not anytime in America. I don't live in America. I don't. Come here, you come. I don't come here. Often. Anytime you call us so that you can come and preach us, I don't pass by you to where you. Come to Ghana, pass. Call me. And I don't. Ask them for anything. I don't ask. Anybody for anything. Those two things alone will let people think of you differently. I don't say anything to them. I don't ask them for anything. And #2 and I was like, when you come around, call, I don't come around. I don't you to come around. When you come around, you want, I told. You to when. You pass through Africa. When you call me. I should come around every time. Come around, call us. So that you can come. I don't need a. Place to preach I. Don't need anywhere to preach. I should come so. I call, I cancel. Hello, my name is. I remember. How we met and it's all I'm around. So oh. Unfortunately, you know, we got a program on Tuesday. We can't have you. You know, all right, this and that. What is that? So you see what you say. Even what you don't say. Yeah, that's a way of. Taking you along a certain line. True. Are you there? You're not there. Yeah. So those of you who can't speak. Learn to speak. Speak well, speak the real you. How many people can't? Pretend that. You go to the tent. Where is it? Crumble in your tent. That's when you. Speak what you. Really think somehow God. Hears what you say in the tent. As well. Amen. Now the. Next one it says, because the Lord hates us. You see all. These are not in the Numbers accounts. Numbers doesn't tell you this. Story like this. Just how the whole? Thing happened. But this one, Moses. Was going through and narrating. The thing then you said that because the Lord hates us, He has brought us out of Egypt to deliver us. Into. The hand of the amorite so. The next one is. Accusing God accusation. Amen. Are you there? All right verse 28 our the next one is discouragement. Our brethren have made our hearts melt, saying that the. People are. Bigger and taller than we and the cities. Are large and fortified to heaven. They discourage themselves by how they describe. And analyze. The thing? But I'll take you to another one later. Amen. The next one. How many do you have? Fine. Skyman is number 5. The next one, Number six. Impossibility thinking. Where can we go up? Our brethren have made our hearts melt. That people are bigger and taller so. Impossibility thinking will also. Keep you from obeying the Lord, you start to say, Who will listen to us in. Vincentia Vincent what? Does it say in Vincent? Vincent who? Listen to us in Vincent. Who? How can you when we were going to start? Our church in. Jamaica. You know what? The guy said some people say Caribbean. People do not listen to. Africans, they despise Africa so. They were discouraging the person. From going to Jamaica. In fact, our pastor was going to. Jamaica said some people come up to. Him directly and squarely face him. He's useless. You are not. You are going to waste on. It would not. Nobody would. Listen to you in Jamaica. Go and see. Them there in Jamaica now church is working. They have their own. Building everything. Fear. #7 Where can we go up? Our brethren have made our hearts to melt. So. Fear. There's a lot of fear in the church. #8 Unbelief. Verse 31, Verse 31 then I. Said to you. In the wilderness, Oh. What are you saying? OK, 32 and 33313233. I can read it myself if you like. But As for all this, you did not trust the Lord your God, who goes up before you on your way to seek out a. Place for you to. Encamp you did not trust. The Lord your God. Amen. In Fire by night and cloud. By day to show you the way, the way you should trust the Lord you. Have faith. Amen. So unbelief of faithlessness. All right, keeps you. From actually partaking of. Something you have tasted. Amen. Are you understanding and #9? Disobedience. Amen. Hello. OK, Hello. Later. All right, Yeah. You are not willing to go up. But rebelled against the command of the Lord. So disobedience. Disobeyed the Lord. And finally #10 are you there? An evil report. Kept you from going and participate. Like for instance you may have. Tasted a sister. And then a brother will come and tell you do. You know this girl very well. I've also tasted her. And I tasted her. Longer than you have tasted her initially. It is sweet, I guess. Bitter. An evil report will keep you from partaking. Mercy, are you there? You've gone home. Amen. OK, very good. So all. These 10 reasons kept. The people of the Lord. From entering into the promised land. Amen. Are you there or you've gone home? So now let's go. Back to the very. Beginning of all this and then we're. Going to go into. More detail. Amen. You want to take. A break, perhaps? You just started. Finish Allah. What I see. All right. Finish all. Right all. Right. All right. OK. Now back to Deuteronomy chapter. 1. Deuteronomy, chapter one, verse 20. 2233. All right. Bring back the word. Next one, go down, give us a whole. Thing give us a whole. Thing the thing please and I took 12 men, one man for.
