06. Please And Impress God Part 1

Welcome to track number six of Mission America. Yeah, I bless the day I found you. Jesus. How many want to stay around? Jesus, what will become of you without God? My God, My God, why have you not forsaken us? Now back to 2nd Corinthians chapter 4. We are studying just verse one and two at this camp. It says therefore seeing we have this ministry, you want to Are you ready to watch a film, short film? OK, show you a film in a couple of minutes. But seeing we have this ministry as we have received mercy, we faint not Amen and verse 2, but have renounced the hidden things. You see, this is what He did in order to be in the ministry of dishonesty and #2 not walking in craftiness. You see, craftiness is a very important area that keeps us out of fruitfulness. When you are too smart, you get it. You are often too smart for God. Amen. So you've got to be careful of craftiness. Craftiness is a very important thing that you need to be careful about. I'm going to show you what it means to be crafty and what it's like to die in your craftiness. Yeah, it's like you are too clever for everything that is going on. You know everything. You always know about all things. All right, But that must not be the case. Then it goes on to say not handling the word of God deceitfully. You see, when you are too clever, you are handling the word of God deceitfully. Now when you handle the word of God deceitfully, you end up not having the word of God going where it must go, which is into your heart. Now a lot of people who watch meetings, camp meetings, different things, handle the word of God deceitfully. Instead of pouring the the seed into the place that it's it's going to go to, it's poured outside and then it has no effect. Amen. Then it goes on and it says that by manifestation of the truth, by commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. This is another step that Apostle Paul took in order to be fruitful, commending himself to every man's conscience in the sight of God. You see, every man has an inner barometer, and that inner barometer tells you whether something is right or wrong. And deep down within you, you must decide whether it's a good thing or a bad thing. And when you do, you often know what pleases God. But sometimes you dislike something. But deep down you know that look, this is the right thing. This is the right thing. Sometimes you are angry with a message that you know deep down. That's why it says commending ourselves to every man's conscience. All right, Are you listening? People's conscience, your conscience deep inside you is what really tells you that, look, this is the right thing. This is the right thing to do, Amen. So before we get into any of all that, I want us to just watch a short film. If you could find a way to turn off the lights, it's a whole project to turn off these lights. We're enjoying the films. You want more films? Why not? Now, before we watch more films, let us look at one of the things that causes us that poor death in order to be as fruitful as he was, and which is commending himself. Amen. To God instead of to man, and commending yourself to people's conscience, Amen. Instead of commending yourself to yourself, Hallelujah. Amen. Now pleasing men is one of the reasons why people do not do well in ministry, Amen. So if you are here, you are going to do very well in the ministry. Forget about making people happy. The more you try to make people happy, the more you are going to be unhappy. Amen. Please God. And I want to give you 10 times. You are instructed to please God. The instruction is please God, impress God. That's why I'm saying to you, you are missionaries and you are pleasing God, not man. If your church has five members, it's a church. Yeah, give glory to God. Bible says a soul is the soul and it's precious to God. It's not in the Bible, but it's implied. Amen. The Bible says that one soul is worth the whole world. So number one, please God and impress God because God will judge you. One who is going to judge you is God. Therefore also we have as our Second Corinthians of the five is 9. Therefore also we have as our ambition, whether at home or absence, to be pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may be recompensed for His deeds in the body according to what He has done, whether good or bad. So notice therefore we have verse 9. We have as our ambition, our ambition. This is our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him, capital him. Wow, what is your ambition, my dear? Huh. You see, that's, that is actually what guides a person whom he's trying to please. If you are trying to please me, you are not likely to be very fruitful. Because you see, I'm easy to deceive because I'm a man. And I can only see you sitting here. And as you sit here, you look so organized, decent, correct in every way. Is it true or it's not true? Yeah. Everything about you looks great. If it is me, how can I know? I only know by either a word of knowledge or I don't know how. I can never know. So try to please. You can do very little and get away and impress people. Once it is a person you are trying to impress, you can do so many things. Every law that is made, people find a way of wiggling around it. That's right. And then they do whatever if the law. We bring a law and say fill a form and say how many people came to church? People have a way of playing with it or counting differently in a way that has ever been counted before. Yeah, it counts. Everything counts. Whatever count children counts chairs, empty chairs counts whatever pregnancies are added. So that is a mistake. Now the one who is going to judge you when we say judge is the one who is going to take a decision about you. Hallelujah. So when you are playing the match, if you take the coach, you find out that the coach can take any decision about you and that is it, you are finished. One the coach doesn't like you, he would just say call this number 7 to come off the field. So our lives are like a match that is being played and the coach whom we are to impress is gone. Now. Like I was giving you the example of Chelsea where I hear Mourinho, I don't know much about somebody was saying so I may be wrong, so don't write a letter to me about that. I made a mistake because it could easily be a mistake. But I hear that he likes everybody to run this way and everybody to run. Is it true? Is it everybody must attack and everybody must defend? If you don't do that, you are out. Those who know football are saying so. So if you are on the field and you are very impressive to another coach, it will not work here. So what I'm saying is that the one who has the power to take you out of the system is God. He has the power to kill you. He has the power to decide. Yeah, you are. You are not important. One day somebody gave me a goat as a present. They brought the goat to my house. When I came, I was. I went into my room and I was there and I heard a setting sound. I didn't mind the sound. The next day I came again. And then they told me, oh, this somebody brought you this very big goat, man. What is that? And I remember I was in my room and I heard this sound, man. When I heard this sound man, I called the security guard. I said, kill that goat and eat it. Yeah. And I thought about it. Somebody is in this room and it takes a decision. I don't like this man. So the sound, I don't want to hear the sound. It should have known that I wouldn't like that sound. It would have been the quietest boots in the world. So I'm telling you, Charlie, watch, watch out. Can you make the sound a little clearer? It sounds muffled. Somebody has tampered with the the mic is what just two was muffled, right? Yeah, somebody has changed settings over there. Amen. So I I need you to I need you to really think about your your person who you are trying to please. Yes. Don't think about me. You can all come. How many words? Oh, there are must be missions. That's what I'm a fool because I'm gone tomorrow. Tomorrow I'll catch my flight and get out of here and I'm gone. And it's you. Is it me you think you are fooling? Is it me? Are you trying to impress me? Look at me. Am I not just an ordinary man sharing the word of God with you? I'm easy to deceive. Too easy for you to even bother to try to impress me. Think about the 1. And I have no power over your life. Even if I'm angry with you. I can't make you die. I can't. I can't make you sick. I can't do anything to you. Yes, there's, but there is somebody who can do that. Somebody can make you a blessed person. Somebody can make you a poor man. Somebody can make you a rich man. Somebody can make somebody like you and somebody can make somebody not like you. That person is called God. So try to make God happy with you as against trying to make a man or man or people happy with you. You know, people have a very mocking, you know, way of looking at you. And in my life, maybe because I was 1/2 caste in Ghana, half caste me, half this, half this, I was not really accept it never really have been. So you know, you people make sarcastic comments to say things, whatever. And I found myself on the fringes. So everybody will be saying something. And I also didn't understand some of the things you were saying because I don't, I don't speak some of the languages and I have no apology. My mother is not a Canadian. I have no apology for that at all. And I don't regret it. That's what God gave me. I don't speak a language. It's not my fault. I didn't grow up speaking that language. So I found myself not even impressing people. So it's like God, It's sometimes when you are a rejected person, it's a gift because God is actually making you not try to impress all those people who have rejected you anyway. So sometimes being rejected, it's like a, it's like a presence that I've been given to you. Can somebody make this sound a little clear? Lower the bass, do something so that it's clear. The word is clear. Bass is too much or what? I don't know. Clarity is the thing that we need. Clarity. Oh, you turn this one off again. Hello. Amen. Is the room getting colder? A little colder? No. They should turn up the heating. I want you to sweat. Amen. We need to be able to please God. It is one of my greatest gifts. Yeah. I don't really care that you like me. It's one of my greatest. If those of you who do analysis, you know, sometimes people write books and say, oh, he was this and he did this and he was like, one of the things you may not know is that I don't really care. Yes, I don't really care if I'm popular to you or you like me. I assume you will not like me. Yeah. And then I float. It makes me able to preach what I want to preach. Yes. It makes me able to preach what I want to preach. Yeah. Brother is here. Is he painting you? Stand up. Is your hair painting you? No. Everything OK? Everything all right? What is your name? Coffee. OK. Be careful. Wow. One of your greatest disadvantages of your life is that you care. I've heard people think, yeah, it even makes you poor. I don't care what time drive, but that you were impressed with my car. I have a pickup, you know, pickup. That is my car. People come to the church and say, What Car does he drive? My driver. Pickup. Do you know pickup? I don't know what you call it here in Ghana, we call it pickup. We use it for construction. That's my car. When Benny Hinn came to Ghana, I went to the airport with us. Can I pick him with the car? I said, sit here, I'm driving. I don't have a driver sat by me and said, yeah, let's go. This is what I have. I don't care whether he is whatever or not, OK? It's not my problem. You think our church cannot buy a Benz? Even in this country, I can take an offering and get a Benz. Even here, I can take an offering and get a Benz. There's Misha in the church. Enough Misha to buy a Benz. I don't care what you think. I I care what God thinks. It's very helpful. It's free, it liberates. You don't have to live in any particular house. You don't have to stay in any particular area. You don't have to drive any particular car. So many you become financially free. The child doesn't have to go to any particular school. You don't have to wear any particular clothes. It's almost you are almost free. I mean you are like some free person. Wow. You don't have to have many shoes. There's the one shoe. It goes everywhere till it's tired, till it gives up the ghost. Usually I see that by the next trip it will be sport. Then I change it because I cannot give sport on the way. It's easy, easy life. You think what I'm preaching is mature. It's mature to you. It's not mature to you. But don't care. Honestly don't care. It's very helpful to me and I am able to please God. Yeah. Or think about, even if I'm not pleasing God, I'm thinking about God and hoping that I'm pleasing God because I can't really tell whether I please God. Because I'm hoping to please God. Maybe I'm not pleasing him, but I really hope that I'm pleasing him. But one of the groups that I don't want to please is men. Yeah, men and human being. Why should you be impressed? A human being who himself is a bad person and why should he be impressed with you? Wow. So, my friend, I want to encourage you. You know, when people ask you, are you joining this church? I hear you. Are this. I hear this, oh, here they just make you whatever, but they are doing this and that. When I was coming to start a church here, the person who picked me and helped me to come to America is Doctor Nosh. He's sitting here and that before I came, somebody called him, This man is going to use you. It's going to use it. The calling, it's going to use you. It's different. Whatever this and that and that strategies. How have I used you? You know, but if you, if you, if you want to be affected by how people think that, oh, you are a fool, you are in this state, you are a fool. They say the people are young and easily impressionable. You must start to say bada, whether I'm young or old, easily impressionable or not easily impressionable, to hell with you and all your thoughts. I don't really care what you think about me. Somebody was going to start a church, one of our churches, and they were saying to her, to the person, be careful, this person was a doctor. They have made her a doctor into a secretary. If you join the church, you will be in danger of being turned from a doctor into a secretary. People have things to say. Oh fantastic. And you tell the person I couldn't care much about what you think, but I'm carrying today's update into that. Whatever. You can go to hell. If you wish to go to hell, this is a place you can go to if you want. So try to make people think, no, no, I'm this, I'm bad young people, you see? That's, that's why you, you, you, you will easily miss your good person, a good person because you try to impress. Look, there are certain boys who are attracted by certain things. You see, if you have a brother who is following physical things, you are done for. Because when you marry him you will look and say, based on the dimensions I'm now seen properly. I don't think that is what I need. You got a problem, not a big problem. So ladies and gentlemen, let us try to please. It says I made it my ambition to be pleasing to him. Don't preach and expect anybody to say it was a good preaching. Grow out of that. When you come back from preaching, say, God, did I preach well? I hope I preach well or ask a senior person what are the mistakes in my preaching? Not is it a good preaching? Can you show me my mistakes? God is the one who's going to say play on, play on. You'll be looking to the bench. Is he calling you? Play on, play on, play on. Is he calling you? Is he holding the red card? Is God holding a red card? I'm always looking up to heaven to see what I got. Is picking a red card when you want to call me off the pitch or a yellow card? Is there a green card? There's no green card. There's no card for play on. Hey, and you know why I'm saying this? Because even even singing singers, if either is singing or Vivaldi or any of the people singing, it doesn't really matter whether you like the song or it doesn't. Oh, you don't know that. It doesn't matter even if you are happy. And I am not happy. I'm her coach. That's right. And I'm not happy. It's not good work. That's how it is. That's what I'm saying, that the people may be happy, Bishop may be happy. Bishop is just a man, Nothing. And he's so deceivable. You can just play some tricks in some games so that I will never see what you are saying or doing. So try God, even if you are a secretary. God, I want to be pleasing to you, Amen, To be pleasing you. We have a song like that, Amen #2 Please God and impress God, because God will examine your hands. Amen. Please God and impress God. Oh sound, is the sound good? Ho ho, ho ho, this good sound, is it clear? Hello. OK, just as we have been approved by God, First Thessalonians chapter 2, verse 4, to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak not as pleasing men, but God who examines our hearts. Wow. We are trying to please God because God just sets aside all outward things and just looks straight at your heart. Straight to the heart. There's no question. There is nothing you do that you can get away with God. He just bypasses the whole thing. Have a look down there. Amen. Yeah. When you are crossing the, when you are crossing the borders trying to get on a plane, you start and say, oh, I'm, I'm harmless. I'm harmless. No problem. Come through this thing, lift your hand up and then stick off your shoes. And then we want to see. We want to see. We don't care how nice you are, how good you are, how pleasant, how look you look nice you are. Whatever you're looking at, one thing down into your hands. I just wanted to ask you ask you. You see, when you don't try to please God and you don't try to concentrate and focus on God, you end up doing everything else. Look, deep in your heart I asked myself, why am I here? You know, when I was coming the last time for meetings here last year, I think it was, I came here, I told Bishop Joel, Apostle Joel, we are calling him an apostle Joel now. I told him, I said apostle. I said apostle. This meeting is not a camp because my aim is to raise money for healing Jesus. So if I look in my heart, I don't want to call the people and say it is a camp when really my aim in my heart as I'm coming is to try to get money for the crusade. So I said don't call it a camp because I have to be honest. You see, The thing is, God is looking straight down in there and He's trying to see what are you really doing? So I want to ask you, God is looking. Almost everything we do, we should look into our heart and ask us to tell it genuinely. That is why fasting, you know, we've developed new ways of fasting because when we analyze it, we realize that we are just waiting to eat at 6:00. You are watching the clock. You are not watching and praying and we are not praying when we fast. Yes. So when you examine the heart, then you realize, look, you are just full of hypocrisy. So my prayer for you is that you will realize that God is looking straight into your hand when I was coming here. So my aim is not, I need money for the crusade. Of course I'd like to raise some money. I'm going to do that soon. But what we are I'm here for is a camp. And you can see that I'm trying to get us to move and to start churches. You know that. That's what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to say, and I can see that people here should have started churches, more churches in the system. Yeah. Ask yourself what is in your heart. So try always think of God, but don't ask for God. When you go to come to God, you can't get away with pretense. It just looks at you straight. And so why did you say you were coming for a camp when you were coming there? And when I, when I did that and I said I'm coming to raise France for healing, I got a lot of support. I thought, but you knew that I was coming to raise. Look at more of you have come and fewer have come. Now that I'm having a camp when I'm doing a fundraising, more people came. Is it not mysterious? Yeah. So brothers and sisters, let us always remember the Scripture, please God, because God is looking straight at the heart. Men, you have to dress well. You have to look nice. Do this, do this. But at the end of the day, God who is examining our hearts is the one we are trying to impress. And please can I have an Amen #3 please God and impress God, because that is what is being recorded in heaven. Amen. Second Chronicles, chapter 14, verse 1. So Abijah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David. And ASA his son reigned in his death. And in his days the land was quiet for 10 years. And ASA did that which was good and right in the sight of who Asad did that which was good and right in the eyes of the Lord. If God has told you have sex with your husband and you don't feel like it, is it good and right in the eyes of the Lord? Huh. You get a bad grade when you have a bad attitude. So you'll find out that it is more spiritual women who are good at having sex in marriage. In marriage? Yeah, more spiritual women, the more spiritual and obedient and concerned about God, The more a woman is concerned about God, the more she's concerned about doing the right thing privately. Not that she enjoys it. It's not about enjoying. Everybody has the almost average level of enjoyment of these kind of things, but it is about God. God sees my bad performances. Poor. Great poor grade of everything in the house. And it's like, since nobody sees this unfortunate brother who rather chose to marry you as against these other brothers who never chose you and never liked you and never married you, all of them used you and left you. This one married you, and this one rather. Since he is now committed to you, you can misbehave throughout the whole marriage. Usually it is your unspirituality and lack of thinking in relation to God that makes you that way. But when you think about God and that God is looking at you, say no. If you ask, you are even sleeping with your husband or having sex with that. You know, if you think about God, say Lord is unto you, then you do something Acrobat unto you, Lord, unto you, Lord, unto you what is good and right in the eyes of the Lord. It's unto you, Lord. It's not this guy who are. This guy is just a man. He's just a man. I don't have time for him, but I have time for God. Yes, I want to please you, Lord, I said. My eyes are on you, Lord. Come on. I'm performing for you, Lord. You are you. Impressed with my moves. My God, my God are. You are you are you impressed at the way I'm? Moving. I'm flowing. Wow. Yeah, everybody has what he is. Naturally, I don't like this. But once you find out that God likes it, God wants it. Say Lord, it's it's you who wants applause. When it comes to God, you are prepared to stand on your head for God. Yeah, Christian marriages are different from marriages of the world. In Christian marriages, the woman has a lot of power, especially if she's married to somebody who doesn't want to divorce, which is the case with most spiritual people that like to divorce. Even if you misbehave, they will stay with you like that. It's like this is my punishment. God is punishing me. God wants me to stay faithfully. I have to suffer in this world. This is what I have to experience. They stay coolly. You see them, the West behavior, they will never go out of it. Yeah, but you, you have to think of God. This is something in your heart. Yeah. One day I asked somebody, you know the person's husband was dead. I said, what do you say? How do you feel as you now your husband is dead, You are now a widow. Said no, I have only one regret. I didn't treat him well sexually. Yeah, this is all I didn't do well as a Christian. And not only you will see that the person was humbly receiving all the torture. When you get to heaven, you'll be surprised you become smiling. Why are you slapping me? Why are you slapping me, Lord? And the Angel will say, Papa, you don't know you don't know why just laughing you because you see God may use you like the nations of Israel, the nations that fought against Israel. God would use them to discipline Israel, but after he uses them, he also tells them, why do you touch my servant? Deal with you? So maybe God is choosing you to punish his servant and make him suffer in this world. But after you think of you, how do you make my servant suffer like that? So a lot of wives are going to be in big trouble. Yeah. Math what does what does thoughts. What does thoughts have to do with spirituality? That sort has to do with spirituality? I don't see how First has anything to do with spirituality. I don't see how I want to explain a little bit more to you. Yeah. Do you know do you know why your sexual behavior and your behavior at home has a lot to do with who you are spiritually? People don't realize that I will I will explain it to you. Let me explain to you take your time and fasten your seat back tighten. You see, you see, everybody who rises and has power, right, and becomes, let's say, a man of authority and power, his actual wickedness or kindness is seen when he has a lot of power. If Hitler had remained A corporal, which is what he was, no one would have known that he was a very wicked man. If Stalin had remained an inconsequential politician who was a dropper from school, a reject from school, and he had maintained his position in that low place, nobody would have ever known that he was a very wicked man. But we all know Hitler was like a junior compared to Stalin. Oh yeah, Hitler was like a kindergarten. Whatever, compared with Stalin, Stalin killed more people of his own people. Very, very, very, very wicked, you know, And he personally uttered the executions of thousands and thousands of people. Now, if Stalin had not become the Stalin we know, or Hitler had not become the Hitler we know, we'd have met him in town, maybe buying something at McDonald's. And I've greeted as hello. So, yeah, And maybe he would have gone to continue his job as a street sweeper. Yeah, or he would have been a waiter in a restaurant. It's a corporal. He wasn't any so high in the army. But when he had power, then we all saw he was actually a wicked man and coming to marriage. When I'm taking my time, I'm taking my time. I'm explaining it to you. When you are, when you are a single individual lady moving around, nobody knows. You're a very wicked person. Nobody knows. Yes, wickedness and evil is not known till you have power or you are in a position of authority or power. It's always a submerged reality. It's something that is under that day you have power or limitless power. Then we see the hair. This is a wicked person. This is an evil person. So when a person now has power and your people, your subjects over whom you have power, 1 is this maid a maid or one? Is this stepchild or another unfortunate? 1 Is this your husband over who you have power because it is your best Now see, I don't want to. I don't know what word. It's your personal body that yes, that you are, you are releasing or using yes. So that's where your powers are. You have to decide acrobatic. Nobody can lift your hand. Nobody can make you jump. Nobody can make you do. Style. Nobody can so. Where you now have power, that is where we stood up, Tally. This is a wicked fest. Because in the small world, to the house help, to that little boy, to that visitor, to that man, this, this is your country. This is your Russia. This is where you are powerful. And those under your powers, it's not easy for them at all. Yeah, it's not easy for them at all. I tell you the small breast that you have, it is like a a diamond that have been I mean. Do you now understand how sex shows the wickedness of a person that this is? If this person had more people under a power, they would tremble and they would suffer. But he's got just one good Christian committed brother who will never divorce, never boy anywhere. This one, brother. The. Guy. Made a mistake for to sign the thing. What better that he got? It's not been easy for the guy. Life imprisonment. So that is one of the places you see wickedness and you see that this person is actually an evil person. Yeah. Where? So you see like, like a lead. You see, Regina always started to say that a person should not have authority unless he's full of love. Yeah. Once you have power and you are not full of love, you misuse the power. All you you just cancel. I'm not happy with you. OK? Die. I'm not happy with you. If you are finished, I'm not happy with you. Bye. I'm not happy with you. Anybody you are not happy with, this is done for. This is condemned. Just the small power that you have, it's so dangerous. Arrest this one. This guy was in Stalin's time. When he gives a speech, you clap and nobody, if they clap and somebody put their hand down, that guy, that guy, that guy, they are arrested straight. So you see a speech where Stalin is giving a speech and you see the clap. Nobody stops clapping. And you'll be looking. Really. Then they have to ring a bell. When they ring a bell, then you stop clapping. Yeah. Dang. Then you stop clapping. Yeah. That is why they say power. Too much power for a man. Because men are generally corrupt and wicked. So it's not good for men to have a lot of power. Rarely are people kind. When they have power, they have power. They say go and break down this. Go and break this or arrest him, say this, start investigations on him. Used to investigate his this, do this, do that against the person. Yeah. So your powers, small vagina you have it has become the center of controversy, center of discussion, the center of whatever it matters. What? I've been buried outside in the sand. Yeah, as it was given to you, once you've had your child and you see them, you see them, but they have. I've had my child 1-2. I've given them. I don't need to use that place again to finish. Yeah, I've closed up. I've closed up close for the day business. It's over. It's 5:00. Go home. Here's. Closed for business, it's over. Factory shut down, business operations are over. Hey, so you see. Three people, you have power. Over it's not easy for them at all. Yeah. So I I, I tell you, you may not know you know, you may not know you may not know these things. You, you especially when you get this type of good like these are pastors. These are part they will not like to divorce anybody. No matter what happens to them in the house, they will be left by when you ask them, how is your mind? Oh, it is working at the grace of God. It is well it is working. It is, well, all these. Posters, but they will not complain even if it worries them in the house. You see them. It's like challenge. I mean challenge. Look, let us, I mean challenge. It's OK. This is my portion. I mean, God has called me to suffer. Let me just be in it like that. Since A1 Christian husband, they have been trained to just take came by the Lord. Yeah, because the brothers love God. So sisters, pray that you get such a good committed brother when you marry somebody who doesn't care. Oh yeah, that is why the Christianity of the person you are married is very important when a person is missionary minded. That is rather good. Is even high, more highly committed instead of finding a brother who is not so committed. This is. Good. When they are committed to that, because God is their referee, they are always looking at God. Does God like him? Is God happy with me? Does God like what I'm doing in private, in secret? Huh. Yes, as I'm looking at my phone, people think we are reading a text, but we are reading a pornography that. We are looking at I. Did it's not a text. So all of you wicked sisters, I'm saying it today. I'm talking to the sister. Nothing. And what about the ballast? Shut up. Don't talk ballast about attitude. Who is that? Who was that?
