06. Nine Advantages Of Church Planting

Welcome to track number six of Mission South Africa. I'm talking about advantages of church planting. Are you ready? Be ready with your, with your, with your, your notes. We are talking about advantages of church planting. Yeah, it's going to be our greatest blessing when we plant churches. Amen. Advantages of church planting #1 before us. They are getting ready with the film #1 You will have favour with God because that is the only thing God is watching about your life, your, your works on this earth. Now, brothers, this part of the message is for brothers. Yeah. You watch the ladies when they meet each other, one of the first things that they look at is their friends. What hair? Yeah, they just sometimes. Oh, this is they start touching it. Oh, you did this. And they even they even refer to the one who had the this the one who did this type of help. That's how they call. Yeah. You didn't know that, isn't it? Yeah, I didn't either. I just found out. Because I was with somebody and then a friend came and the first thing was, oh, he started talking to the person about that and I realised I haven't. Noticed the hair? You see, everybody has what he watches. When God looks at us, he doesn't look at your car, your house, what you have, what you are wearing, the diamonds you have and the gold you have. He looks at your works in the Spirit. Yeah. So you see all through the Book of Revelation, each church, Revelations chapter 2 verse two, look at it. It says to the church in Ephesians, he said, I know thy. Wax every. Single church, he told them. I know your wax, Pastor Silas. That's the only thing God knows about you. Your wax Revelations chapter 2 verse 9 to the next church, he said in verse 2 verse. 9 I know thy. Works your tribulation, your poverty. That's what God is looking at. Whilst you are looking at your hair, somebody has Brazilian hair, Chilean hair, American hair, Egyptian hair. God doesn't see your hair. I know thy wex. Revelations chapter 2, verse 13. I know thy wex and where thou dwellest. God is looking at wex. Wow. Revelations 219. I know thy wex. Amen. Hallelujah. God is looking at Wex Sabis the church in Sabis Revelations chapter 3 verse one. I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou liveth, but thy dead. Revelation chapter 3 verse 8, I know thy works. I have said before thee an open door. This is what God is watching. As God is watching me, He is watching my works, not my bank account, not the cars that I have, even you, even you on this earth. A time will come when you see that. You stop looking at those things. You grow to a point you stop noticing it. One day I met a brother, you know, he came to my car and said, oh, your car has this, your car. And I thought to myself, it's a long time since I met somebody like this. Because I know such things. But it's been a long time since I was. Hey, your car does this. Your car. Oh, it has this. It's like this. It's like what? It's a long time. It's like it's an old thing. You see, when you are young guys, you'll be looking out for such things. Yeah. One day I was I don't know what I should tell you this story. I don't think I want to tell you. I've told you too many things, too many stories. I don't. I don't think I should tell you. Yeah, I'll tell somebody else. Everybody is looking at something different. My God is looking at a wax even when you die. One day I met a man and I he was, he was sick. I think he is dead and his wife is also dead now. But, you know, he had been diagnosed with a a tumor in his brain, but he had operated on something and he was OK. And I don't know how it came about. He said a rich man, if I die and somebody comes for my wife to marry my wife, he said I will rise from the dead and I'll come and take the person on. Wow. But you see, that is a mind at a certain stage. At a certain stage you may even beg somebody to marry your wife. Please, can you marry her when I go and look after her for me? Yeah, at a certain stage can a taken harder an auntie or somebody who died, It is in one of his books right at the beginning. He said when she when she was, she was young when she died. The lady who died and then her husband had grown up. They were very young, in their 20s and her husband had grown up and had married another person. So when he went to heaven, he met this lady who died. Some of you may have read that story because there are some of you here who know everything. And then when he he met the, when he met the husband, when he met the lady, the lady asked about her child and the husband and she said, and I kind of think he was saying he, he, he wasn't, you know, because the man had married again. He was like, it was some way. And he, he realized that the lady wasn't interested in that at all. Yeah. And the lady told him that over here, what we notice are when people take spiritual steps like he becomes enters the ministry or his backsliding becomes a serious criticism. Those are the things that we see. But there are all these other whether he married, he did this, it's like it's nothing. Yeah. It is in his book, Following God's Plan for your life, something like that, one of a book like that. When you read at the beginning, it's right there. You don't have to go deep to see that story. Yeah, look in heaven they are monitoring completely different thing. One day one lady, his one his wife died and he was going to marry again. So he got a a beloved. He wanted to so I met him. I said, are you getting my he said, Bishop, I feel guilty. I feel bad to to get a beloved. Yeah, I feel bad about it, he said. And he explained, he said, because I feel that I'm being unfaithful to my wife, how can I get somebody else? Yeah. It's a feeling you watch and see if it happens to you, pray about it. You may feel bad, yeah. But once you are feeling. Bad about it, she is moving on in glory whether you have a car, whether you have a house, when you. Make a move. Spiritually they are watching because earthly things have no value there. Yeah all the money we are acquiring and the things we are getting is nothing. One thing God is watching is monitoring is on a screen in heaven your wet for me. I want to go to heaven with a lot of people. When I get to heaven I want to present the people. All these people, I try to leave them to you because I wanted to say thank you for saving me. I wanted to say thank you for saving me. Don't you want to say thank you to Jesus for saving somebody like you? Somebody like you? They come at it carefully. Even as you. Come to Christ. How easy like you are in Christ and you are some way. It's one of the mysteries of the Kingdom. Good and evil are together in the same Kingdom and all are growing. Yeah, it's one of the mysteries of the church. You see a person very anointed, doing well, also with an evil spirit. Jesus said I don't want to go into all the things of the Kingdom because that's not what I'm trying to do at this camp, but just on the side as someone went out to show remember while men slept, somebody came and stood some other things tears and when he woke up he saw he said who is this? And they said an enemy we have only an enemy has done this. He said no, leave the demons, leave the demons and leave all the hybrids, leave all the evil spirits, leave them there. Let them grow together so you can have a very. Good. Person with an evil spirit. It's all together, side by side. Michael, what a word, this check. Fuck. If you've been in the chat for some time, you must know somebody who is very good and also has an evil spirit. You don't want to call it an evil spirit. You say that it's a personality or character or evil defect or a trait or whatever, but it is something blattered by the enemy. While men slept and they are all growing together. You must know somebody like that. Oh yeah. Very nice, apparently nice, good Christian with a clear presence of something that comes at other times. It manifests even in your marriages. Some of you, you say it, you can sometimes say it. See everything is perfect, except when the spirit comes, another spirit comes into the person and and it is Marvel says how come two yes, how come these two be in one? Is it possible? Why it is possible? It is written in the Bible. Let them grow together, side by side. Yeah, I'll show you one. I'll show you one of our films. You see evil and good side by side. The man who Jesus delivered from demons in the garden of Gadara. He didn't. Walk to church. He ran. When he saw this, he started running. Some of you, you came, you just walking, strolling to church to see Jesus. Yes, they were nice people with 6000 demons. You see what what I think our. Problem is you can't imagine how many demons can fit on your finger tip. Have you ever calculated when the Bible says when a man has an evil spirit, an evil spirit goes that it brings more 7. How do the seven fit in? And how did the man within 6000 demons? Where were they? So it means that in one spot, maybe on your shoulder, there can be about 380 of them. Wow, whispering. That's why you. See, in the same church somebody is very good, ministering, singing, doing things in the church, and there is something also when the fever cuts. And the thing comes, you see that the person is different and maybe comes accepting or to certain places. It's one of the mysteries of the Kingdom. Back to what? What was I telling you before? What was I talking about? You forgotten, you can't remember. What is God watching? Your works. God is not washing your hair. It's all your money, your clothes, this, that, your car is watching your works. So when you start planting churches, Charlie, you, you struck into the right of us. 50 years from now, almost everybody here will be dead. 50 years from now, if I'm alive in 50 years, I'll be 101 years old. It's it's it's not likely unless I I mean, I suddenly receive an anointing for long life like Methuselah, this type of anointing. Yeah. I mean, there are people who just live, you know, when you when you have. Life you don't die, you keep. Living and living and living. You see, a young person would die, but this one he keeps. People get diseases. Things will happen, but you don't die. That's how those who have life, you know, they just live. So if, if, if God blesses with life, I can easily be hungry. But if not, 50 years from now, most of us off. See you and. When you get there, as soon as you arrive, the Bible says it is appointed unto God, unto man wants to die. And after that judgment is this somewhere? Come when you die, come and die. God forbid you shall not die, die, lie down, die. Sometimes when you die so I'm resting, but as soon as you die, angels come and wake him up immediately. Get up, get up. No sleeping. Get up. Raise up your hand. For what? No, no, it's time for judgment. It's not the rest. The rest. Most of the time when we are having funeral, people are experiencing the wildest cupcake. They are grilling the person. Seriously. Try die. Die again. Let's see. You didn't do it well, you see. As soon as you die then. They wake you up immediately get up. You cannot sleep. Hold up and then the court will come. Yeah, it is. It is about it is appointed. That man wants to die. And after that sadness straight the first, the one time judgment get up. So you see the person, Oh, he looks peaceful. You should check and see what is happening up there. He looks very peaceful. She was smiling. She looked very peaceful. Sweating somewhere. Seriously. Questions. And you say my, my, my shoe, my car, my hair. Rubbish. Here, we don't look at that. Here. Sit down now. #2 Church planting The advantage of church planting is that it helps you go. All the way. With God, it helps you to go all the way with God. What do I mean by all the way? There is nothing that you will not learn when you plant a church if you don't plant a church. You will only know. Part of Christianity, but. If you plant a church, you will learn everything. You will learn instruments. You will learn music. You will learn choir. You will learn preaching. You will learn teaching. You will learn counseling. You will learn baptism. You will learn visitation. You will learn prayer. You will learn there is nothing. You will not learn. Money, how you learn law, you learn. Look at me. So many things I know, so many things I know. I know them because. Of church work, yeah. When you plant a church because you see, to be a good pastor, all these areas come into play. Yeah, you can't. You cannot just be a a good pastor without all these elements because it is a a kind of vessel that God uses. So stand up. You want the anointing that I'm coming back? That anointing goes into a vessel which can control his wife. Yeah. It goes with, it goes with all these things. It's all part of it. Because parties who often who don't do well, many of them a large percentage. Is from their own the marriage large percentage, the marriage is not working. The wife is the number one opposition party leader, chairman of the opposition party. But when you see them in church, when you ask, oh, how the, oh, she's at work. Oh, she said, oh, she said the Greek about it's like that is the real thing is the is the is the is the is the is the wife. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I have no apologies for what I'm saying. I have no apologies. You want the anointing. It goes into a type of vessel. You have to stand up and gain control at home. Yeah. And your children, I told my children, I said you can be Muslims, but when you are here you will be a Christian going to under my roof. After you can be a Muslim, but now you are here, you will be a Christian. And on Sunday everybody goes to church, including the animals. We are all going to church. Yeah, yeah. Hey, are you listening? Are you still? Around, Yeah. So it it makes you develop every area. But why are you sitting down? Why are you sitting down? He can't control himself apart from controlling his wife. Listen, listen, if you just have a Bible and you go from church to church preaching, you will never go all the way and all out in all areas of ministry. If you go from church to church preaching, when you arrive you get a good sermon and all that and you go. It is 1111, one 120th of the of the work. That you will learn if you like try and be a pastor, how to relate. Look, I had to learn how to smile. My wife used to tell me they are not friendly. Smile, smile. So I started practicing smile. I said, yeah, And you know, you know, these young people when they are taking pictures, they all all their smells are artificial. They said it's all so you see the nice picture, like they've learned how to do it. That's it. They have the. Pose and all that. I see you. Hey. My wife she used. To sit. She would sit down there and then she would look at me. She's reminding me to to be friendly. So many aspects you are left. That is why some of our churches are not working. No, different engines are not working. Planes rarely have one engine. In other words, it's not only one thing that's keeping it flying. Many things are working together and it's not just being a human being. That's why I say that in South Africa you rarely find a South African starting a church in, in, in, in, in Ghana or in Nigeria because something is missing. And that thing, it is not like the word you don't know the. Bible or you don't? Know about something just like a chip, a small chip. And that's the chip that we want to help you to have. Yeah, but it's like several little things make you fly. When you see a plane flying, several things are working, several things are working together before the thing goes up. I've always had pilots. What? Makes the plane go up, like at the point that it starts, it just goes like this. It's from the tail. He showed me the tail, said the tail. What's the tail? The back. It just does this. When it does this, then it just goes up. And the calculation of the weight and the volume of the plane. Yeah. And so many things. So to be a pastor, there's many, many, many things. When I came in here, when I came in the morning, I just said to myself, you know, South African worship is there's something sweet. About it. Oh yeah. You have so many things that it takes many things, including other things which you lack to make the thing work in a way. But if you come and start up, there's a there's a feeling, there's something in the South African worship and praise that is just special. Oh yeah. But. You also need something that makes you international and open minded, I'm telling you. And that's what. We are trying to encourage you and teach you and I tell you, if you like try to start a church, try to start and search and see all engines will. Be forced to work nice one after the other. I have to start this one has to work. Your friendliness engine will start working. Smiling engine will start working. Everything has to work about you. You can't leave some aspect. Dead. Yes, you will learn it. You will learn it. When I started a church in, in Geneva, oh, I, I became a music director. Oh yes, I became a music director. I, I bought instruments myself. There was nobody. I bought keyboards, organ, guitar, drums. And I taught different people how to play myself. They didn't know how. Nobody knew how to play. So the small. One that I knew, I sat down with a drummer and I said this is how you press here, Pop and you press here. So Pop and I showed him how we do it. You will learn how to play drums. You will learn everything. And if you don't learn, there are many things, including controlling your wife and letting her come to camps. You see that your chests are not wet. You see, when you come to a camp, you can easily be targeted. So pray that it may not be you. Yes, after we take pictures with you, there's always, always. Pass on. Every camp, Yeah, if your wife who is in the room with you. You cannot say get up. Somehow they cannot say to that, get up, get up, let's go to church. Some pastors are always late because of their wives. They are always late. They always say this. You cannot overcome that. And you see that they become a problem. You see, years ago when I was coming to church, I realized that, look, my wife has not got the ability to be. On time as I am on time, she doesn't have it. So I disconnected myself with it. I overcame the problem. I said I will go so that you come here so that we can be in the church happily when I see. We thought that we are further over timing already before we came and the wife will never agree that she's late. I said don't hurry me up, I know what I'm doing, Listen, listen to. I said OK when you are left behind by a plane I will be laughing in my heart, but I will not say anything. I say when I was telling you to hurry up, you say I was OK. Now the aeroplane has left. You stop doing this, stop doing this. Stop doing this, stop doing this, stop doing this. If you are nice, you are nice. There's nothing else you can do about it. So if you cannot make your wife come to me, come. It's part of it, your marriage. Will be affected it makes you go all out in marriage you have to have happy you have to have happiness yeah sometimes I'm going to preach I realize that I've quarreled with my wife so because the Bible says God will not answer your. Prayers. You see that I have to sort it out. Say Charlie, come let's sit down and negotiate so that we have a negotiated settlement because otherwise the anointing will be affected. You being a pastor so you are going to cancel people while whilst you are with your wife in the house you are not talking for two weeks. How can that be? So you have to sort it out because all forests must end by 5:30 today evening. Before the sun goes down, it must be over. Check your time. Those of you who are Forest, by 5:30 it must be over. Check starting and check because you have to preach on Sunday. It will. It will control you. I tell you, it is the best job you can ever take on your life. It will. It will make you pray. You go all out in prayer. Yeah, you go all out till now. You see, as you go, the people are not. There the the following you will be there Lord send them from the north, send them from the South, send from the east, send from the West. Lord I pray yay voice of Allah cause them yay got them to come from afar speak to them, send your appoint your Angel, appoint your church good Angel into the church now thank theme Lord hey. You know you will be in prayer unless you are so phlegmatic that you don't mind when people don't come. You, just a waiting man will see before, Yeah, you will learn worship, have learnt to be a worship leader just because of church. Yeah, even now I need worship. But now I've got a singer. So I read the words and then she sings it. Because your church worship has to be good. So if you want to develop going all the way in all directions, have a church, have a church, even your marriage, your children. But when your children also start saying ask for daddy or money, he's just the church, this and that, whatever. But at home, this and that and that, you see that you you'll be forced to straighten. Yeah, church is very. Good though, it's a, it's a, it's a those of you who are resigning from the church, you are resigning from your life. So I can't I. Can't you are resigning from your life? Refuse. Continue talking, nobody will say anything. Try to be a pastor. And you will. See, you yourself will listen to messages. Nobody will tell you not to listen to podcasts. Nobody will tell you yourself will not want to listen to what is happening. Yeah, you, you will check and see. Yeah, some of you pastors will have let your wife stop preaching. Let us start again so that spirituality will return. Yeah. Sometimes when my wife is going to preach, she comes to me and says I should pray for her. And I feel so happy. I feel so powerful because she also cannot preach if she's not submitted. She has no covering. If I say I've removed my covering, she's defenseless. Her head is exposed to demons. Yeah, So she has to come to me. He said, pray for me. Please go ahead and I say Father. Hallelujah, don't allow anybody in your house to be a. Spiritual don't allow it. Church planting is very advantageous for your life. Amen #3 Sit down Badam, I'll I'll call you again soon. Church planting ensures that you have done your homework. When I say homework, your work. At home on. Earth before you get to heaven. When you go to school and you've not done your homework, is there no trouble? Trouble, big one, is not done, your I is. I don't know what you call it here. Different things you have to do. You better do. Ephesians chapter 2, verse 8. For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, Hallelujah, not of wax, lest any man should boast, for we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus, and to good works which God before has obtained, that we should work in them. Ephesians chapter 2, the 10. There are some good works which I'm calling. Home works, you are expected. To do Mandy, I want to do all my homework before they say come. So I'm working. I'm trying my best. I don't want to go to heaven here. Something like, you know, there was this come there some so many points we need to discuss with you. Yeah, this one you didn't do this. This, this, this, this, this. No, the Bible says this works. They were ordained before the world. Began before you were created. God has obtained specific works and some of us are going to stand before God and what are you going to say? They are going to be in serious. Trouble. And it's not every work in the world. You you have. You see, I cannot do your work. You know, like my children. My children are in school and university. I love them so much. I cannot do the work for them. It comes a time when you must do your work. And I also do my work. Yeah. So you must realise that the difference between bishops not Lighthouse's work. It is you as a person. Lighthouse provides us an opportunity where you can finish your work, your work. You have to do your work. Let us take. Let us, let us take. Let us take. Many of you here. I don't even know your names. I know. I know just a few people's names here. So where did you come from? You are all some other people are working. So my work here is very small. I come once, twice. I say this, I say this, I go. I come, I say this, I say this, I go. I call somebody for a meeting. I said this, I said finish. That's my part. Those who are on the ground with their legs walking to houses and working, that is their work. They are also ordained to do those works. So if I call them, I say come, I say go. Go. You don't do. We didn't have anybody here. We just be. We empty. They are just empty in a room. There's not nobody. In fact, there will be no meeting. So don't confuse your work with my work. Ho now ho. You understand? Don't confuse your work with my work. Don't be confused. This is your work. When, when when you see Bishop doing that, you are you are accomplishing your work. Oh, your work and my work have a small intersection. There's a small intersection there, your work is there and my work is there. There's a small intersection where I connect to you and help you to work and you also connect to me and help me to work and and that's it. But you will answer for your but that's not works. Don't say oh, happening lighthouse and lighthouse has worked. So when I go to heaven lighthouse, it's whatever. So lighthouse will I'm tall, I'm tall. There's nothing like that though. It's you personally. What has God told you? So people who stop preaching, you know you are supposed to be preaching. You stop personally. You say, oh, I'm angry. You are angry with me. Me you are a mortal, a mere mortal like me you are angry with. Me and. What will it achieve? What about you personally? What you claim you are called? You better make sure you do your works. Because when the time comes, you are going to see that no, the work was to be done. I didn't do it. I couldn't do it. I didn't do mine. That's why maybe there, there's supposed to be 1000 churches here, maybe only 100 will be established. But for me that's, I say last, I'm here, I say look next in South Africa. Prepare the weather. What I feel the Holy Spirit told me to come and say, I'm saying church planting, planter. Prepare. This is how to prepare. Sow seeds. Sow seeds of churches, the Kingdom of God. Tell them to sow seed. The Kingdom of God is coming. Keep. Preach about the Kingdom. Preach about seeds. Preach about them to plant seeds of churches, seeds of people, seeds of books everywhere. Tell them prepare. Prepare to meet God. You will not prepare my heart. I can't stay here. I'm going. Someday I'm off. I'm out of here in the next couple of days. I'm going to meet the church members from Zimbabwe and Zambia and I'm meeting them at their border. I'm coming to Qatar camp with them also. Tell them the same thing I'm telling you. I'll tell them and I leave them. If they don't want to do, they can't be there. There is nothing that nobody here gives me money or pays me. Nobody. I'm not paid from here. I don't have anything or benefit or percentage or emolument or benefit. Or side or there's nothing from you. I know I'm not. There's no reason other reason apart from just do what you are supposed to do. If you can't get that, then be there. You will answer and you will see. One of my church members, she, she was sick, she was dying. Daughter told her daughter told her there are only two people alive with this sickness that I know that he knows of their that I left. So he told her you are going to die. So when she was with me, I, I asked her a question because when death is knocking at your door, you become scared. She said. She I asked her had I been a good pastor? She said, Bishop, you have been a good pastor. You told me it's not now that you are going to tell me. You said it all. Through now that death is staring at me, you have, I can tell you. You have told me you haven't been in some way. You said it. All you were always on the right thing as I can see death like this. It's the right thing you've been telling me. Oh, yeah, I'm telling you real life. You you can't see death now. But if it's coming now, you will start to see whether I was telling you what is right or just deceiving you with words about prosperity and what have you. You think I don't believe in prosperity? Have I not prospered? I prospered. When you see me, do I look hungry? Do I look hungry to you? So you better do your work. I am doing mine, Mimi. I'm here. I mean, just, you know, I never knew. That was one of my colleagues. I went to a church in America and I preached the pastor, you know, he is quite analytical. And when he, when I finished preaching, he said, you know. We are all so. Scared and you are all so moved. Then he told somebody, you know, he was talking to somebody, not to me, he said. His calling is to challenge and encourage. People to, to work for the law. He told he was a white man. He told them that is his calling. That's why when he can't be telling me, we feel so moved to, to to work for that's his calling. I have not heard anybody analyze me like that before. You know, somebody can analyze you like you play, you score good. So this guy is very good on the right and he's good when he farts on the left and he's behind him and they have analysis. So he was analyzing me and said he is calling us to encourage people and telling them to work for God. That's why you feel that way when he preaches. He said we all feel moved. I preach at the 1st and the 2nd sabetier husband was going to preach and I just finished preaching and the whole place was shaking. Yeah. Then the richest man in the church came to the pastor and told him that this is the best message. The richest man. He was a multi multi millionaire dollar millionaire. He told him, He told the person that this is the best message that has ever been preaching this church, including your messages. The richest man in the church. The richest man in the church, including your messages. Yeah, what happened was that he he sent a message to different pastors in the church. And then those pastors, one of the pastors told me and said that this guy is going to cause problems because it's what he's saying. He's telling all of us that that's the best message ever preached in the church. Then I think the guy himself decided to tell the pastor himself so that this is the best message ever preached in this church, including your messages. And what was the message about hell and heaven? One day you will thank me, Bishop. You told me. You just encouraged me to do. I didn't think. And now as I can see heaven, it's like, yeah, three days I'll be gone. I thank you. Now you, you. You told me something to do. I thank you for that. I thank you. Yeah. And my work is not your work. Have I ever been to Polo Pani? So the people that you. I think. Did you come with some people? Where are they? Where? Where are you people from? Coraline. Some few people, Yeah. Where are you? Uh huh. Yeah. I don't know them. So you see this one is for you. You see for my my role, I intersected with you for some short time and your wife. No, no, you know. And then after that it is you. If you like, don't do be there. If you don't want to do be there, but he said before the world was ordained, he said with God that before ordained that you should. Work in those. Good work. Yeah. They're waiting. If you like, do. If you like, don't do. And As for God, he will find a way to do his work. Yeah. Amen. All right. Thank you. You may be seated. #4 I've given you 3 reasons why it's advantageous, isn't it? What is the first reason is the what? That is the only thing he's watching. You have favour with God, that's the only thing he's watching #2 it's the only way to go all the way we've got #3 it ensures that you've done your homework #4 it keeps you conscious of approaching eternity. Amen. It keeps you conscious of eternity, that heaven is coming. Because when you preach yourself, become conscious of eternity, actually, it's just a matter of time. It's just a matter of time. Everybody has a day that he goes out of his gate. He doesn't come back. When you go, you don't come back. You stop quarrelling and start having peace and start thinking of things for the future instead of persisting in issues never ending. What else? Hey? When you think of exams, you do well, all of you were in school. Yeah, I always passed, though. I was doing the test side and side. When I, when I have the questions in my pocket, ask questions. Oh, they used to call me Houdini the Magician. Yeah, when I was in school I was called Houdini. Magic. The question was magic first questions, not the question that is coming. That has been said, the illegal one. I'm saying like the year, the past years where if you look at you cannot set many questions. If you want to set questions about this room you got what color is the ceiling? What is this one? The question should be finished just now, so they have to keep repeating next. Year they have. Yeah, we were brought down, he said. We quarrel all the time. We never float. It was just for the sake of whatever arrangement that we had, he said. We. Hated each other, but we have to stay together. We have to live together. Because of the children and because of the church and all that. So we managed a way to stay together, but we hated each other. Yeah. All these guys are, you know, first I have the question the other way. They were all demoted. One guy said I was given a disease, a humiliating disease. You there are some diseases that are more humbling what they will do to you in the hospital. Before you die. You feel more humiliation apart from the sickness itself. Yeah, more humiliation apart from the sickness itself is I was given a humbling disease and whilst I was being humbled in that disease I called out to God and I repented. If not I would have didn't gone to hell. Yeah, a pastor and he said. Look, when I came here, I started to pray for my other associates that they would also receive that same disease so that they would change before it is too late because they were all just like me. These are past questions with fast answers and what happened to the people? What else do you want to? Hear. I will see. Yeah, the guy who said is the greatest stupidity to be saved and to just be dead. Doing nothing. It's the greatest folly of a Christian. Chapter 3, The White Throne. Well, read it. I didn't write it. All the others become affected. In Switzerland you see they are young, half calf, white. They married white people. They are half calf. They are all Christian at a camp like this. They are all sitting. They are the ones who are excited that are even coming. It's amazing. The. Church has the way of. Fighting personal problems. So when you are withdrawing from the church, you are withdrawing from your. Very life you are withdrawing. From you are doing well in. School doing. Well, in marriage, doing well with your children, doing well in so many areas. That's why I said that the church planting a church and being in a church, I mean my children, one of my sons was being asked about how he became a Christian. He said. They are whatsapping, Facebooking, boxing, whatever among themselves. They have their own communities. Yeah, when you withdraw your child from. The Church, you are affecting yourself. You are leaving this church and listen. He's hurting me. I think he's doing something to me, but you are doing. Something to yourself. Now all your children's friends are unbelievers. Yeah, they are unbelievers. Smokers. Drug actors secularized, demonized people. And how will your child be like? Show me your child friend. I will show you the. Nature of your child. Yeah. You are. You are fighting yourself. You are hurting yourself. You. Know if your. Husband is able to successfully build a church. You have done something for yourself. The church is more than. A family. Tester. It is the problems of loneliness. Oh. It is because you are not much involved in the church, that's why you are. Lonely. Anybody here who is lonely? You are not. Looking at you with expectancy and you know that you have to rise up above your own depression and minister and you will and all the hatred of this life. Will be dissipated to the wisdom and the anointing. Of the Holy Spirit, but so go. Wow, are we going to plant? Churches. Are we going to plant? Churches. Yeah. So. I really. Believe that what we are learning this afternoon is going to cause us to even become great is because many of you can can become very great. But the problem is that you are unable to handle the issues you have personally. Lucy and the one who come into the church, the one you are a pastor handling the church. One blessing also is that you are under authority. You are a pastor in a church and you've got pastors over you who oversee you. Now, one of the blessings we have in the church life is that we have senior pastors or fathers who can come into our lives and sort issues out that we are unable to solve. The things you are unable to say. To your wife. Your pastor can tell your. Wife in one second. The things you are unable. To say to your husband. Your pastor can tell your husband clearly and you see many people who are unable to shine or to do well in life are there are people who are battling with personal things that they are unable to solve. And so the blessing of being in the ministry is that you, you have problems. You have a pastor who can help you, but it's when you are an ordinary church member, an ordinary church member, you are even unable to get the attention of the pastor. Let me say this again. When you are an ordinary church member, it is difficult to get the attention of the pastor because the pastor is busily working and the best way to get his attention is to join in the work he's doing. And as both of you are working, you can be discussing the problems that you have. A pastor can be. So busy that he may not have the time. To sit down and wait for you to come. You are not doing anything. You don't want to help. You don't want to build a church, you don't want to be a shepherd, you don't want to be a pastor. And he is the one who is working. Haven't comes Haven't Crusades counselling the church members. Building the work of God. Now when you are not doing anything and he is working, it will be very difficult for him to. Stop. It is easy for you to even discuss your problems. Anybody who works as a pastor in the church has a more direct access to help than an ordinary member who may. Need to book an appointment? An appointment and may not even have the time. So, so I really believe that one of the blessings we get as we work in the church is that we get help for our personal problems. We are able. To engage our pastors, our senior pastors, our overseers, our bishops, because they are also working. If there's a farm and I'm within the farm, I may not have the time to stop within the farm and come to you. Relax under a tree, but as you join me and we are all within the farm, then you can tell me about what your wife said or the problem your son is bringing you. As we are all within, I may have the right counsel for you. So, so I really pray that God will help us even for our own lives to have the time and the interest in building the work of God. As I've been a pastor, for instance, there have been many issues that I've been able to discuss with Bishop because we were both doing the work together. We are already going for a crusade or we are discussing the church work, even the time to discuss as we are talking about the church work, then I can bring in my marital problem or my son's problem because we are we are talking. But if you are far away disinterested, you are not part of what is going on. Your problems will will will kill you in that corner. Your problems. Were were it did not even help you to enjoy Christianity but when you are closer to your pastor and the. Work of God is. What brings you closer to your pastor? Anybody. Last week we as I was teaching why God wants us to suffer. One of the most powerful points in the book is that one you suffer, you get closer to God. Philippines you say that we said that I may know him and the and the. And the power of his. Resurrection and the fellowship of his suffering. So as we are suffering with Jesus Christ, together we get to know Him better as He is on the cross and we are also on the. Cross. Together. We are doing the same thing. So when you are not when I the pastor. I'm suffering. And you are a chess member. You are not suffering, you are just relaxed. All you do is you come to Ted even only on Sunday. You cannot be too close to me. Not that I'm trying to select or trying to be very partial, but naturally when you suffer with someone you get close because your your. Your your issues. Are the same. You discuss the same issues. You understand each other because what makes me cry makes my pastor also cry. So, so, so we understand ourselves. And I believe. That alone is a reason why I would want to be a pastor for the rest of my life so that I can be close to my pastor. Since we are all fellows in the same shape, suffering the same test, planting problem, counsel counseling problem, test growth problem, building the test, problem having crusade problem, how to how to build a test, build all the problem we are all sharing in the same thing. By all means, I'll be closer to the one who suffers with me and who also does what I'm doing. So May God bring us together. May God touch your heart to be a fellow suffering and building. The work. When you go home and you are angry and your wife asks you what is what is wrong, you don't even talk about something your boss did or your personal problem. It is the church. I was so upset this member did this, this. And that is why husbands must also bring their wives into the ministry. Yeah. So you can even discuss what what makes you angry in the church or what upsets you. Your wife also experiences the same thing. So when I come home with my church problems, my wife also comes home with the church problems and we can't talk. At least that even makes us come a bit closer because we are all doing the same thing. So you'll be there and be. Taking your time with the. Church planting. So we'll plant later? Later. No, it's the best work you can do. You overcome depression. What is #1? Number one, you do what? You have favour. With. God #2 is what all the way with God? Amen #3 is what? It shows that you've done your homework. Isn't it your personal homework? No one can do it for you #4. It keeps you conscious of eternity. #5. You are created to be more than just a. Good person you are created for good works, not to be a good person. So I'm just a good person. I don't smoke. I'm a good. Person I don't take drugs. I'm a good person. I'm this. I'm a good person. Oh, there's more to you than that Next one. It helps you to do what, especially with problems. I cannot hear you. Marital financial children morale academics isn't a school because even by. Coming to church, you see that. Your pastor. Went to school. Because many times. Your elderly father may. Not inspire you and you come to church, realise that your pastor went to school, there is nothing wrong with school. So go to school, finish your school, do your metric, go to university. Yeah. It's true, you are inspired by many. Things. In the church, you may not know. And he says, Oh, my Bishop is a doctor, so I don't. See why I shouldn't finish? Finish my school. I'm going to finish going to school. There's nothing wrong with school. Hey. Yeah. One other problem. Does it solve for you depression? It helps. Number. That's number seven. Helps you overcome what? Depression. I hated life for some of. You as time goes on, you start to. Say. Charlie, it's useless. Life is useless. Vanity of vanities you come. To the conclusion but. At that point you say God, God is there because I work for God. It's not useless. One day over it is. If you get to heaven and there is nothing there and all that we've done is nothing, then you can say that it's useless. For a Christian there is hope, and especially a working Christian, there is hope. Amen #9. Is it #8 #8? Brings you closer to your pastors because you start to do the same work. Though you always have a pastor, even if you are a pastor. Pastors also have pastors because pastors are ordinary human beings. And you'll be closer because you have more in common. More in common.
