06. How Different People Were Called 2

Welcome to track number six of Lay Power. Where were we, Moses #5 The divine call of Aaron through Moses. Aaron was called through Moses. The anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses. And he said, Is Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee. And when he CFD he will be glad in his heart. And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth. And I will be with thy mouth and with his mouth, and will teach you what you shall do. And he shall be thy spokesman, and he shall be even. He shall be to thee instead of her mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God. Did you see that I didn't tell you? Exodus 4 verse 14 to 16. God told Moses, you are going to put words in Aaron's mouth, simple and short, so you can be called. And the way you are called is that God will use somebody to put words in your mouth. I'm reading to you from the Bible. And he said, listen on. He said, and he shall be thy spokesman unto the people, and he shall be even, He shall be to thee, instead of her mouth. So Aaron, instead of having a mouth, you have Aaron, and thou shall be to him instead of God. What do you think? Is it not fantastic? Yeah. So, brothers and sisters, you find out that there is a type of calling through a quiet conviction. We have that at the beginning, isn't it? And we also have the divine call of God by Abraham. Abraham was called by the word of the Lord. Jacob was called through a dream, isn't it? Then we had Moses was called by an unusual and unnatural occurrence that drew his attention to the Lord, isn't it? And now you have the call of Aaron through Moses. Is he so many of us here have been called you you heard my voice speaking to you and you found that it was like instead of hearing God, you had my voice and you realize that you were called and it happens it's. Also a method. And he says that he said that he shall put words in thy mouth. Sometimes you find pastors preaching. What I have preached. It's the same thing. Words are being put into their mouth, preach it and people are enjoying the words. Amen. And there are words that I've also been put in my mouth that I preach and I'm happy to preach them. Easy, no struggle. They said, He shall be to thee instead of her mouth. You shall be to him instead of God. Is it not fantastic? So you see, everybody comes in a different way. So if you are thinking of somebody, you can make a big mistake. Now, some people are going to have to make extra efforts. Some people is not going to make have to make as much effort as you. I'll give you an example. That's why you see everything is an individual. Most of us will not die on the same day. So many of us together in A room, I mean, it's unlikely that we will die together on the same day. Even in the same car. You can usually see one person would die, everybody else would or one, everybody would die, one would be left. It's marvelous. Now when God called or gave Cain and Abel the opportunity to serve him, Abel was he kept sheep and goats and so and Cain was, you know, into maize, vegetables, salad and so on. When it was time to serve God, Abel, are you listening? Came along with what was natural to him because he had all these animals. So he came along and presented what was natural and came, unfortunately, also did what was natural. You got it, and it caused a whole big problem. Cain did what was natural, and Abel did what was natural. This one brought his work a lamp. This one brought his work vegetables. Salad. He was giving God salad because I don't eat salad. God is one of the people. Who doesn't eat salad? So to please God, it may be very easy for someone to take a step naturally, but for you, you may have to go 2-3 more steps before you'll be able to please. You have to take your vegetables, go and sell it, exchange it before you have what is appropriate. So don't look at your brother and say, oh, but he also did this. I also do this before you realize you see that you have totally missed the mark and you are totally. Out of the will of the Lord, Are you listening to me? Everybody's call. Everybody's work is a little different. Are you listening to me? And you need to understand these differences so that you can really flow with God because you just don't know. For somebody to serve the Lord, you just wake up and then do what his Father is doing. But somebody may have to go miles to go and find a father before he will even. Somebody may just see right there that somebody has to read a book. For somebody you may have to travel to another country before you can serve God. Somebody just wake up in your country, you are saving, so don't look at somebody and. Assess what you should be doing. The great mistake. Is to think of people instead of thinking of God. Think of God, don't think of people. And God will bless you and honor you in Jesus name, Amen. So Cain got up and he said I'll do what I have. What you have is not acceptable. But Abel got up and said I'll give what I have, and what he had was acceptable. Very well though, how many? I realized that Bible say God was not pleased with him. Now, those of you who say your face doesn't matter. The Bible says when God saw Abel's face, his countenance, he said, Why is your countenance falling? And he saw his face. So even God sees your face that even though you are not saying anything, your face is saying something. God said to him again, why your countenance? For why God saw that he was angry, and his countenance had fallen. Are you listening to me? So God is doing a very, very wonderful work. Amen. Everybody stand to your feet for a moment. Hey, there are a whole lot of nobles coming in. Just lift up your hand and ask God to remember you. Wait a moment. None. The. None. The. Thank you Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. You may be seated number six, the divine call of Joseph through childhood dreams. Childhood dreams Genesis 37 verse 5 And Joseph dreamed a dream and he told his brethren, and they hated him yet the more. And he said unto them, here I pray you, this is the dream. We were binding sheeps in the fields and you know the story. And Bible says, and he dreamed yet another dream. And he told his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more. And he told it to his father. And his father said, Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee, to the earth, mercy? But many, many years later it happened. So brothers and sisters, another way you can be called is by something that has happened in your childhood, sometimes a dream and a vision and a childhood conviction. As a child you understand God can put something in your heart and that thing will never go away. And you know that you are supposed to be a House of God person. Amen. Bishop Saki wanted to be a mass server. Is that not what your vision was? I was a mass server. You wanted to be a priest from Class 2. What do you think about that? I wanted to serve God when I was in secondary school. From the time I I knew the Lord in secondary school, I wanted to just save God. What? I didn't know what it mean, but I just knew that I wanted to serve God. Is there anybody else who had a childhood dream, a childhood vision in your heart? God put it in your heart and it lift your hand if you had a childhood brother. Billionaire, Puzzi millionaire. Has he got a passion? You know these things, they are real. You may go to heaven one day and find out that God called you and you didn't mind him. When you grew up a bit, you found other things to do in it. And I say and they say in it. Childhood dreams. Have a dream. You see some cows, That's your call. See cows? That's the call. You see some sheeps, some something in the field, That's your call. A childhood dream, childhood dream, significant dream, strange dream, your father, your mother coming to bow to you. Hey, wow. Listen, anybody who does not respect dreams, you are not a Christian. Christians respect dreams, Bible says. And I'll pour out my spirit, and you shall dream dreams. Dreams are one of the direct effect of the. Presence of the Holy Spirit in your life. Now the Holy Spirit was. On Joseph and he dreamed, and he dreamed. Of the future. Wow. So don't let these things be discarded from your heart. You're going to die anyway, you go out. Of this world, you're going to meet your Maker, your Creator, the one who put the visions and dreams in your heart. The one who formed you for his. Work. The one who created you as his workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good work. So you're going to stand before him anyway. You're going to answer and how we wish we could talk to people who have gone ahead so that they could tell us what what happened. What was it like when you went? What did they say? Were they happy with us? Hey, how we wish we could talk to the dead. There is a certain deafening silence from the dead. There's no word coming from them. There's no message coming forth from them. We wish we could have just a. Just a word. You know what? My father died. I wish I had been able to say something to him before he died, but I didn't know he was going to die. I didn't know he was going to die, and he just died. That was the most difficult part for me, that I wish that maybe I'd been around or maybe he had said something or something, you know, but there was nothing. Just I saw him and then the next time he was not in existence and not a word ever again. Death. Is there something about the person doesn't say anything again. Very well as you have to believe these things, you have to believe that you will stand before God and he will say to I called you, you were a child. You knew you were a baby, you were a little child. I spoke to you, I gave you a dream. I told you I called you and you'll be there and in in that day you will know that it is true here. You can argue with people you know. Most of the time we never admit things. One day, a man went to a prison. He discussed with Eric, Why were you here? Why are you here? What happened? Why are you here? Mad dress different people. When he came out, you know what he said? He said I've never seen a larger collection of innocent people. Everybody is not guilty. He has never seen a larger collection of innocent people in one place. Everybody says he didn't do it. Those who have been video doing it, they said they didn't do it. Photographed, they said they didn't do it. The next one, the divine call of Joshua through the sending of Moses, or I should say when Moses sent him. And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out and fight with Amalek, Amen. Amen. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with a rod of God in my hand. So Joshua did as Moses said unto me, fought with Amalek. And it came to pass that when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed. When he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed, Amen. Are you there? Amen. So Joshua was sent on a mission and that is where the call of God was revealed in Joshua. Go and fight, go and fight. You never read about Joshua having any other special or whatever. He just started sending him out to go and fight and he became the leader of the armies. So when Josh Moses died, that was it. The one who you've been sending out to fight is the one who is now the leader of the armies. So when you've been sent, they say go and do this. You don't want to do it. Some of you would even discover your profession by agreeing to be sent. If they send you, then you see a real calling. On Sunday I was in Tema. And Pastor Ishmael was introducing me and he said, oh, you know what, initially when I was sent here, you know, I wasn't so happy because you know, you don't want to leave the family, you want to be part. And I when I went on stage, I said it wasn't anything that he didn't want to leave the family. He thought I didn't like him. That is what I was sending him. You see many times when you are sent there, you get a feeling you are not wanted around, you are not liked. It's true, but you can never see your potential until you go on the mission that they send you to. That is it. I mean, how can we know about you by looking at your face? We have to see you doing something and so that we have to send you to many places before we see what you can do. I mean, you can ask Pastor Johnny how many places I have sent him to before he's standing here. I've sent him to Lome, I've sent him to Ringway Estate Church. I've sent him to Kaswa. Church. I sent him to Brazil, I've sent him to Venezuela, I've sent him to Barbados, I've sent him to so many places. Choir do this, do that blood. I didn't send this to go and buy some bloods, but that that is where you that is where and when I sent him to Barbados, he was deported. He was deported. Then I told him that you see there are people when you send them they will not be deported. Yes, it it also takes an ability to be sent to a place that they will not deport you. Yeah, that's why you learn so many things. And you may go to a bed before you realize return, return to sender. But you see, all those things reveal to you even your truth when they send it to guilify you come like almost dies. You are not called to such a place. When I Yongicho, the person who took over from Yongicho, I did even this history that I was reading. When the person who took over from Yongicho, he said when I asked him what qualification do you have to be here, he just said, oh, I have been moved, sent by Yongicho. Many times since I was young, I've been in the church like this and I've he has sent me everywhere. He mentioned all this. That's my qualification. I've been sent, he said. I've. Moved myself and my family 7 times to Tokyo, to America to here 7 times. Me and my family go here. Then when the church starts to work, then you say, come here and he. Used that word when it started. To work, I should move again. I said that that that is because they love you and then one day you are being asked to come and be now to replace the whole, not to be at the place that is working, but to kind of replace the whole of Yongicho to come and be in the church. Is it that they don't like you? And they said you said in time, go here, go here, go here, go here, go here. It is rather because of your high credentials that everything about you is being exposed. By extending, it reveals something about you each time you are sent each mission. You go on, reveal something about you, what you can do and what you cannot do, Sure. That's why. If you take. Somebody like Pastor Robert, Pastor Robert, you may think that you, you see him walking around, I mean not know the work that he does. But if it were not for Pastor Robert, we will not have any churches in the Caribbean today. We will not have churches in Switzerland, we will not have churches in South America. And when you see a person who is able to enter a place that cannot be entered, but the Robert tried to enter Brazil, you are not able, but he has been able to enter, be there and establish a church there and make a way for others to come and learn. The language now preaches in Portuguese. That also revealed something about the first When he went to Trinidad, he was able to stay there and negotiate with the Secret Service and. Other institutions investigated himself. How can you say that? You you say you are from where? They asked. You are from Switzerland, but you lived in Belgium and you are from Ghana and you are a pharmacist, but you are a priest and you speak French but you speak from an English speaking country. And this act, it was the most complex case they have ever seen before they say, they say, well, it's fine. And they. Look, I said no, no, no, no. No, but he's able. To go through and be dead, Yeah. Are you listening to me? So you you'll be surprised just to be. Sent and return. He said act. Or not to return, or even to survive. Or even that the Church will exist. It's. All part of. So when Moses sent Joshua to a possible death in that fight with Amalek, it was to the beginning of his he was going to take over from from I see a true general. You cannot be a general when we have not seen firepower before. And you call yourself a general. A general of what? A general of who? You haven't seen real fire. You written exams as you came. A general. Now, so if one day Pastor Johnny is a Bishop and he's sending somebody to Brazil or. Somewhere he said, look, you know where I've been sending before, he has the right to send somebody to the poorest country in Africa because he has also been sent to the poorest Africa country in Africa before. And he went and he even started doing. Classes in every and French. He went to get a teacher, an away teacher and a French teacher, a level away teacher and a level they. Said to go to Togo. I went with Pastor Johnny in Togo. We were looking for a house master. We were looking for. Was I with you? I was with some others. I was with you. Yeah. We were walking through the the streets of Togo looking for a house for him to stay. I've sent him and he has gone before. He has a right to send somebody, I tell you. And then you don't have the right to send anybody because you have never been sent and gone before. Some of you can only be sent to. London, but not to Lumi cannot be sent to Togo. Have I sent you? If I send you now, will you go? And will your wife go? These are big, big questions. Will you go? Will your wife go? You see, you don't realize that each time you are sent, it's almost like you are, you are diving deeper into your calling. When you go to whatever and what with anything they tell you to do, you don't even know what you are, what you are doing, but that going is carving out for you your calling. So go. He has a right to send somebody to a branch because he has been sent to a branch and he went from the cathedral to a branch. Ringway and to a poor dusty town called Kasua. He went from the glorious cathedral. So he has the right one day if he's if he's a Bishop and he says I said go here, he. Has a right. And you don't have that right. See. Am I saying something wrong? So you see, when they give you a small job, do this. Do this and start. You are a fool. You are a. Fool, you had a smallest opportunity and you just mess it up because there are some people. When you, when you when, when I said I see the face now I'll change the calling media. So I've changed my mind. I won't send you again. Amen. Oh, go. When God says go, go. The calling of Joshua through being sent by Moses on an A life risky mission to go and fight what when I send those guys out on the healing desert I am however they are risking their lives each and every single one of them is risking their. Lives. If you don't know what I'm telling you, each and every one of them is risking their lives to go on that thing. It's a very dangerous work that they do. Yeah, yeah, it's a very dangerous. Thing go go go go go into cover young I chose guy challenge his credentials said I was sent here. I was sent here. I was and I went They said I went anything they said I did it. I did it. I went my and to go that your wife goes chale. That 1/2 is another categorization because you see people working together, husband and wife. Their husband has no control over their wife. Chale. If he says come, she'll just go away. Go away. Yeah. You go. I'll be here. There are a lot of wives. They have never come under that. Even today, our missionaries are not getting wives to marry the young ones. Yeah, they are losing popularity among the sisters because sisters are looking at them as risky options, risky options to marry. They don't. They don't seem to have a bright, bright future. Their market value has dropped. Missionary to Rwanda, missionary to Burundi, missionary to Kinshasa. I have so many of them. Young young boy, handsome guy, tall head above shoulders. They are all day. No, they don't have anybody to marry. They don't have anybody to marry. All the young, young girls. I look at them. No, I better find somebody who is working at Tigu or Etobank. Am I? Is it not true we have so many of them? One of our mysteries was, I think, Ivory Coast, before he realized he beloved has informed him that it is no longer It is no longer the case. Another one. It was no more viable. The relationship is no more viable. Another one was sent to somewhere he came. No beloved. They're all Nigeria. What? Not me. He's deep inside Nigeria. The beloved has a challenge based on the outlook of appearances. It's OK. So to be able to be sent and have a beloved, to be able to be sent and your wife will follow you. Recently, I was talking to one one guy, he's he's beloved. He was as a missionary to Saif Yosu or Saif Rebekwai, one of those towns. He's a graduate from Tech or Lakeland or one of these places. And I asked him, will your wife follow? He said she will follow me. So I was watching them. Then I saw that they got married and I saw the wife. I realized that the wife was moving there. I said very good. Yeah. You are lucky you got here early before she has developed feathers. Feathers that can fly. She can fly. When you say can't you fly here? It's true. Yeah, I've been blessed to have a wife who has followed me. But it is not, it is not, No, it is not all wives who follow. Some wives, you cannot even have sex with them. Oh yes. They, they are like boys in the house. Yeah. It's like boys are staying with boys. What is boys? Boys, it's a 10. You have to write an application letter. All these things, they are not jokes. Oh, all the things are. There is no joke. My wife was said gone and she said I can't go, I have diabetes, I can't go. My diabetes has come. Yeah, that's it. My diabetes has come. My diabetes. Has come and I'm not going. That's it. Yeah. Instead of losing weight, you say your diabetes has come. My diabetes has come. One day I saw a certain missionary. The mission has failed. Then I realized that the wife did not follow him to the mission field. Yeah. And I saw the wife. I said, hey, but the the wife is here while the missionary is there. You think even the people there will believe that you are a serious person. Our missionary King Temple, when he built the church, other pastors came to tell and said, oh now that you have built the church building with a roof and everything, we have seen that you are serious. So all along they thought he was not seen that he run away a town like in Taboo, he run away. So every mission they always. Look at the missionary that. He's not serious, but when they see the pastors arrive with his wife, his children, whatever, they are there forever and they say that this is a serious mission. And you see the person, he cannot take his wife because wife, she says yeah, or or she said that some sickness. One lady was telling me something. I said then I'm a nurse based on the sickness. You are telling me I am also a nurse, which means I don't you think that I am not a doctor the thing you are telling me? The the sickness you are telling me for which you are not able to operate, then take it that I'm an S and I don't understand what you are saying socially to be sent to go to. Go with your wife to go with your children to subject them. You take somebody like Pastor Robert. I sent him his Teress Speak English, then they speak. French. Now they speak. Portuguese. I don't you don't even know what language Pastor Chris was in Paris. I said she go now when I saw when he was speaking French, now back to English. To be able to move your family. You see, it's also something it also shows a certain pliability, a certain flexibility, a certain view. Deadness to be sent and God to go and fight. I may die. Because me, if I was a soldier, I wouldn't like to go at. All. Fighting with swords. Tell. Me. How many would not like to go? Somewhere ministered unto the Lord before Eli, and the word of the Lord was precious in those days, and there was no open vision. And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down and his eyes began to wax him, that he could not see. And the Lord. God called someone, he said here am I, and he ran to Eli, here am I, for thou callest me. And he said I called, now lie down. And the Lord called it again. And somewhere Rosa went to, Eli said. I called not my son. Lie down. For someone did not yet know the Lord I'm reading this first. How much after three verse one to 10 and the Lord called Samuel again the third time and he rose and went to Eli said, here am I for thou this common Eli perceived that the Lord had. Called the child. Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go and lie down, and it shall be. You see that he's being trained to recognize the call of God with God's voice, which sounds like. Man's voice. The reason why he came to Eli when he when God called him was when it sounded like Eli's voice. You see many times when you obeying the call, you think you are obeying a man. Why would he run to Eli when he hears someone? So oh, Eli is calling me. Eli's called, there he goes. You see he sounds many times when God is going, sounds as if a man is the one who is calling you. Tell me that it's not in the Bible. Tell me that it's not. Am I not reading into you from the Bible? Yeah. He ran to Eli and the Lord. Called So Samuel went and laid down. He said, Shall be when he called it. I shall say, Lord, speak, but I said, and hear it. So Samuel went and laid down in his place. And the Lord came and stood and called us at other times, and some well, some well, someone, then some well answered. Speak. But I servant. Here. Amen. See how someone heard the voice of God if he wasn't in the house? First of all, that voice was in the House of God. If he wasn't in the House of God, he would not have been told by the senior prophet to respond to the man's voice as though it was God's voice. See what? Happens. Wow. Many people don't hear the voice of God. They don't even come to church to work Sunday in out. What are you doing in your house on Sunday? Sunday in, out? The more you stay in church, the more you will realize when you are in the bank how foreign that atmosphere is. The more you realize when you are in the secular world that you become more and more comfortable in the church environment, environment of God's embassy. And when you're in that environment, you begin to learn how to recognize the voice of God. And you often, sometimes you say, is it God's voice or man's voice? Is it God's voice or man's voice? Now it sounds like it. Many natural things are like physical things. The voice of God was just like the voice of Eli. Wow, the prophet call Samuel. Eli is calling me. Eli is not calling. Me God is calling you this time. That is why we have the confusion. That's why we talk from that scripture, the art of hearing. That's why we call the Art of. Hearing how to hear, how to hear. So this one is God, This one is God. This one is God. This is God. This one is God. Are you listening to me? Yeah. Tell your neighbor if you are feeling sleepy you are not called. How many are learning something? How many know that when you stay in the House of God for a long time, you are likely to hear, You are likely to hear what you are likely to hear, the voice of God and the call of God. If you come into my house, are you not likely to hear my voice? You hear me calling for some? Ah, Daniela, Paula, this I'll be calling my children. It's in my house, and my voice is in my house. If you come to the House of God, whose voice are you likely to hear? You are going to hear God's voice at a point, and it sounds like a man's voice. And that's why you have to study the book the. Art of hearing, to be able to distinguish, to descend, to recognize. This one, God's book to me. Wow, isn't that fantastic. See, everybody was called differently. That's why I said, oh, you should ask your mother how you came. If I everybody go and see your mother and ask actually, how did I come? Tell me the truth was IA problem. Yeah, some children, when they came, after they came, the mother, we, we and Pupu started to come from the same place. Yeah, we call it VVF, a face type of fistula. It's true. The Wii comes from another place, whatever it starts to come or some they have another one at the back that is rectal vagina. Fistula then this one vesicle, vagina fistula, it's a hole. It's a hole. So you you see that the Wii is just coming out and those type of it's very difficult to cure. These are the problems that you came to console VVF. You are a VVF child. You don't even know, huh? And you are cursing your mother. You are saying that your mother was a fool. You can easily die. Oh yeah, your mother is a fool. Your mother lost her beauty over you when you were born. All that she became. Obese Obese obesity setting. She was never able to wear less than size 18 from from after you came. Is it a small size? Size 18? It's a big size big. #9 the divine call of Elijah by having. A mantle thrown on him. So he departed thence, and found Elijah the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with 12 yoke of oxygen before him, and he with the 12. And Elijah passed by him, and cast his mantle upon him. First Kings, chapter 19, verse 19. Charlie sometimes. The man of God may give you something That is the call of God. You may not even know that you've been called. Oh, he may give you a handkerchief for all you know. That is the call of God. Yeah, unless the Bible is not. True, unless the Bible is not that He has taken his mantle and he has given it to you. Unless the Bible. Is not. Of course, sometimes it's just you are feeling cold, so take where. And it just helps you to feel warm. But it's not a calling. But there are times you see as if it's a joke, but you are being called with that matter. Yes. So brothers and sisters, God is calling us everybody in his calling. The first one is. What through prior conviction? The next one is what? Wow. The next one is what? Divine call of Jacob through a dream. The next one is what? Childhood dreams #7 is what? When Moses sent him #8 God's voice, which sounds like man's voice #9 yes, Amen. Never take a gift that is given to you by a man of especially something that he has worn before or used before. Because Elijah gave his staff to Gehazi or one of his servant to run and go and put it on the dead body, he knew that the anointing could be in the staff. Jesus Peter's shadow was healing. You never know, but #10 the divine call of Jeroboam. We are ending, we are ending, I'm going to end. You are all looking so sleepy. The divine call of Jeroboam through the word of the prophet. There are too many people sleeping in front here. Please, I don't like it. It's only out of respect that I'm not whatever. Please the divine call of Jeroboam through the word of the prophets. You see, you never know which moment is the call of God being coming into your life. You never know. You never know, you never know.
