05. How Money And Riches Prevent Missions

Welcome to track #5 of the Volante. The next reason why money is the enemy of the mission is because money, all right, has drunk the blood and the life of pastors. That's taken away our lives. Mercy, money has taken away our life. Wow. I've been coming to America over the years and I've seen how money has taken away our lives. People have become older. Look, people have lost their hair. People who had hair have become bald. The color of our faces has changed. People's faces look as if they put powder on the face. You look weary, exhausted. You can always see when somebody has stayed there for a long time or usually or when somebody is new newly come a mobile. Turn with me to Revelations chapter 18. And after I saw these things, an Angel came down from heaven, and he cried, Babylon, the greatest fallen, and has become the habitations of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit. Amen. And the cage of every unclean bread. For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven saying, Come out of her my people, the enough partakers of her sins, and receive not of her plagues the seven, how much she has glorified herself and lived deliciously. So much torment and sorrow I will give her, for she saith in her heart, I sit as a queen. I'm no widow, I shall see no sorrow. Verse 9. The kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn for her, for no man buyeth her merchandise. 12 The merchandise of gold and silver, and precious stones and pearls, fine linen, and purple, and silk and scowl, Scarlett. And all fine wood, and all manner of vessels of ivory, and all manner of vessels of most precious wood, and of brass and iron, and marble, and cinnamon, and odors, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and tariots, and slaves, and souls of men. And the fruits that thy soul lasted after are that departed from thee, and all things that were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and them shalt thou find them no more. And the merchants of these things which were made rich by her shall stand of Harrow for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, that great city that was closed in fine linen and purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls. For in one hour so great riches has come to naughty every ship must. And all the accompanying ships and sailors, and as many as trade by the sea, stood afar off when they cry. And they saw the smoke, saying, What city is like unto this great city? And they cast dust on their heads, Cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city wherein made rich all that had ships in the sea, by reason of her costliness. For in one hour she is made desolate. Rejoice over her now, heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets, for God hath avenged you on her. And the mighty Angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city be thrown down, and shall be found no more. And the voice of the Harpers, and the musicians, and of pipers and trumpeters shall be heard no more at all in thee. And no Craftsman of whatever crafts he be shall be found anymore in thee. And the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee. And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee. And the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee. For thy merchants were the great men of the earth, and for by thy sorceries where all the nations deceived, Amen. And I want you to notice verse 14. Verse 24. And in her was found the blood of prophets and of Saints, and of all that was slain upon the earth. In her this city of wealth was found the blood, the lives of prophets and Saints. You see, when you read this scripture, you traditionally think that they killed pastors there. But you see, it doesn't necessarily mean that. It means that the lives of pastors, because the life is in the blood, the lives of prophets and pastors was in this city. The drunk, drunk up pastors. Just as America is drinking up pastors, people who should have been out on the field are here, have drunk the lives of pastors. It's true when they should have been in Niger and Chad, there's only one church in Chad, single, one official church in Mauritania, sorry, in Mauritania one church, the Catholic Church buildings only one single one. The rest have been given to Islam. All the countries in West Africa and mean they are just spreading like that. It has been dashed today. America drank the blood, the evangelist lives. They are all here. Lot of evangelists are here. 95% of passes are preaching to 5% of the world here. Swallow the lives. And time and time again you hear another passes where I'm moving to America. I've got my Canadian green card, my family and I again and again, again and again, their life, their life has been poured into this place and you see them. Your life has been given to this country. Life has been given to this country. Life has been given to Germany, to England, where there's sometimes nothing to do. It's true Where the field is there. Wow. And so today God is showing you, look, money and the wealthy city has swallowed up our lives. That's why if you will not even support healing Jesus, we say it's even pathetic because you've given your life for this whatever. So an opportunity to give. Do you see what I'm saying? You could have given and you could have even helped something. Amen. Are you are you there? Are you still awake? He said, read that verse again. 24 It says in verse 24. What does it say? And in the hair was found the blood of prophets and of Saints, of all that was slain upon the earth. Yeah, right here. Your lives are here. So I want to encourage you, don't give your life to this place. Give your life to God. Amen. In fact, I want to say again, don't give your life here. Don't give your life to anything except to the Lord. I even wouldn't give my life to you. I would give my life to the Lord. I've learned too much to give my life to you. I'll give my life even to God. Don't give your life to anything. Give your life to the Lord. Let the Lord have control of your life. You know, I'm just here in between. I mean, go between, between God, money, and you. That's what I'm doing at this time. I'm trying to be in the middle to battle between money, which is trying to get you God who is also trying to comfort and trying to ward off the money and trying to introduce you that look, God is better, is a better God to have. God is a better God to have than to have money as your leader and your ruler. And I'm trying to show you that Jesus said money is unrighteous. And I'm trying to really show you practically that most money that is in the world has an evil origin. Amen. Are you still listening to me? And I beg you, give your life to God. Give your life to God. That's what I'm encouraging you to also become a go between a converter, a missile, a projectile. Try, try the little you can do. You can do something. I know everybody can do something. At length God has told me some will take cities, some will take towns, some will take little community, some will have just a Bible study, some will take little villages, some will take nations, some will take even more. Everybody will do something. Amen. Hallelujah, what a blessing. OK, finally. Why money? What did I say about money? Now what is the topic? The enemy of what? Mission and missionaries. Yes. OK, The next and last reason is because they that have riches hardly enter the Kingdom. They that have witches hardly enter the Kingdom. Everybody's typing Luke 18, verse 24, verse 18. And a certain ruler said unto him, Good master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto me, Why call us down me good? None is good save one that is God. Thou knowest the commandment. Do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, do not bear for witness. Honor thy Father and thy mother. And he said, All these I have kept from my youth up. Now when Jesus had these things, he said unto them, Yet lack Thou lackest one thing. Sell all that thou hast, and distribute to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven, and come and follow me. And when he had this, he was very sorrowful, for he was very rich. And when Jesus saw that, he was very sorrowful, and he said, how hardly, hardly, hardly shall they that have riches enter into the Kingdom of the Lord, Amen. Wow. Hardly, hardly, hardly shall you enter the missionary mission field. Those who have riches. Rich is like a rope when you hold it, the rope that's connected to something. Hardly shall those who have riches enter the mission field. That's why I said the number one enemy of the mission is money. Even when you have potential riches, not even riches. Oh, potential. For most of you, you don't have. You are not rich, but you have potential riches. Yeah, because you are living here in the American dream, dreaming. Many of us don't have real riches. We have potential riches in it, I said in it, in it. You have potential. Potential, like me, when I came in the ministry, I didn't sacrifice anything. I sacrificed potential, but I wasn't. I wasn't. I didn't have a Bishopsaki, had nothing. We had nothing. When you say we sacrifice, we didn't sacrifice anything. So it's only potential. We didn't have anything. It's not that we have something that's the truth, but potentially, and that's what even the potential one, we don't give it up. The potential one, the potential one, you see, I was holding on to the potential on the potential, the potential I'm holding the potential riches. I will never let you go, never let me go. It's another song like that. Search for me, draw me closer to you. Reveal your secret house desires. Tear me up until the gift in me is pure and all consuming heart. You've always known me. You've always hear my cry in the shelter of your unsatisfied Lord. Take over, Elsa. Die. Guess you are the Lord Almighty. How I won't sing your praises. Lover of my soul, I will sing about your faith. I'll tell the world about your witness. And how good it is to know you never let me go. So look for me with all your heart and soul. Jesus would never let me go. Some people were thinking about green card Sing it again. Never let me go. Never, never let me go. Thank Jesus. Jesus never let me go. Oh, Jesus never let me go. Oh sing Jesus never let me go. Never let me go, Jesus never let Jesus never let me go. Now some of us, we don't even have anything, just the potential and even the potential. You are saying I will never let you go. Look, when you hear something bad sounding, why don't you decide I will not be in this bad category? What do you think? Isn't it a good idea? I mean, without thinking, choose to separate yourself from such a group. For me, this is one of my principles that don't see yourself as special, but try to change your groups. They're a group of people that are just so money driven, money conscious. I don't want to be in that group. That's all. I want to be different from that group. Try your best. That's what I'm encouraging you all. Never preach for money, never do any work for money, Never be nice to people for money. Never smile because of money. Be real and do something because of God. God is a very good reason to do everything that you do is a good reason for anything and everything. Amen. Do you understand what I'm sharing with you? OK, so This is why money is a dangerous enemy for the ministry. Yeah. And sometimes it's it's it's a blessing when God will call somebody and allow the person not to be attracted by it. And now as I preach, I realize that God hath blessed me not to be attracted by some things. It's a great blessing to not be attracted by some things. It doesn't mean anything to me. So many things don't mean. They don't mean what it means to most people. It doesn't mean that to me. I don't care. And I realized that it's a deliverance from the devil. If it had meant something, I couldn't be doing what I'm doing. I couldn't do what I'm doing. I could give you so many examples that are just flooded in my mind for certain reasons. Only one. No, I'll tell. I'll tell a smaller group in private somewhere. Yeah. Are you listening? But it's possible for you to be free because I'm trying to push money away and trying to explain to you that God is a better person to choose to serve, to guide, influence, guide you in this life. Ameni. Is it a good idea? OK, so I said I was sharing with you the enemy, and then I was going to share with you the what? Yeah. So before we come to the test, I'm going to share with you yet again why and how I should say how the enemy works, this enemy that is killing your ministry, how he works and it works to quench your calling. Amen. And to do that, we're going to take a break for 30 minutes. We're going to come back. Some of you, you were, you were looking sleepy yesterday night when I said go and sleep, you didn't go. You were chatting, talking, talking, talking. Now you are feeling sleepy. It's not unnatural to feel sleepy. If you didn't sleep, you'll be sleepy. Not that you don't like God or you don't like the word. You like God and you like the word, but I mean, you'll be feeling sleepy If you are sitting there, you'll feel sleepy, you see? So I'm giving you 30 minutes to sleep. Can it help your sleep? If I won't sleep, you'll chat, talk, do everything. Oh so Jolisa, you are guilty #1 so you have. You have been given 30 minutes sleep. So, doctor, go 45 minutes from now, 5 minutes to go to the room, 5 minutes to come back and 5 minutes grace period to mingle. Exactly. Then we are restarting. Is it clear? OK, nobody should talk to me. I'm also going to rest. I'm, I'm telling you, look at me very carefully. I'm telling you that the ministry can present you with certain difficulties and certain challenges, and some of these challenges come about when there is overcrowding in certain spaces. Overcrowded in certain spaces can lead to some problems because of the ministry. But the ministry is a blessing. If one day I make it to heaven, I will not enter heaven because I'm a pastor. I will enter heaven because of the blood of Jesus, but believe you me, I'm telling you that I will enter heaven also because I became a pastor and being a pastor is what helped me to lead a certain type of Christian life. So the ministry if you if you read your Bible carefully, you will realize that what we are even calling ministry and being a reverend and being a whatever pastor, this type of titles, they are actually lifestyles of normal Christians in your Bible read as well. You see that pastors in the Bible. I mean you don't qualify to be called a pastor. This type of 2 by 4 prophets working around town. You are a prophet. You want to compare your compare yourself to Elijah to Elijah. 2 by 4 stories you told and they came to pass. You say you are a prophet. Are you listening to what I'm saying? If you look at your life, I mean you say, you say a pastor like Stephen. If you look at accents, how the, the, the, the, the pastors. If you look at Timothy's life, a pastor read his his life story. I mean, go and Google what his name looks like Saint Luke and see how his life was, the things he did for the Lord and you say you are a pastor. Also, a lot of the credentials are unfortunate credentials. They are they are really unfortunate titles we have. But when you are in the land of the blind, when your eyes are one you, you are king there. That's why some of us are even pastors are reverence prophets, these type of things. But if you look in the Bible, the Bible, somebody preaches 1 sermon 3000 people give their life to Christ and you preach. And that was them when the world was not 6 billion, when the world was not 6 billion, you are preaching at a time when the world is 6 billion, we still can't get 20 souls saved. And you call yourself a pastor. I'm saying that the ministry we are doing, it's a privilege for us to live our lives to become Christians and that ministry can create a problem. If you if you if you find yourself overcrowded, you sing the choir shepherds are not talking because I wasn't given the chance to sing solo. Si sang solo last week, Si sang solo last three weeks. Si sang solo. Why will it be my time? Meanwhile, the song Si sang, I can sing it better. Let's say some to. You. But when you are, when you are on a mission, you are given an objective. You see something bigger than a solo, something bigger than a where you shared something bigger than some, some, some prophecy or some whatever it is now guides you. It's bigger. A. Lot of us here, I'm telling you that if we X-ray your heart, you will you will not qualify to go to heaven. Bitterness offenses. You don't talk to your friend pastor through pastors, they don't talk to themselves. I'm telling you, you are talking to everybody. So you think what I'm saying is not true. You relate with everybody. You are very friendly. But I'm telling there are pastors here who don't talk to each and that the way they don't flow because of overcrowding. Move from there. I said move. You, you see there, you go to hell, you see something, you see there, you see there. Don't send yourself. We get ourselves comfortable sitting places. Small, small praise and worship is giving us whatever it is on title. And you are now like the king of which jungle? Which jungle are you a king of? Better move your buttocks from there and do something better with your life. Look, this camp we are having, I don't think there's a camp like this camp we've had before. This camp we are having better listen where better listen very carefully. You have been given a certain exit, exit routes and, and, and, and and exit routes. Better find your life, move somewhere. And now that's comfortably do the ministry the way the ministry must be done. Yeah, the way there's a way the ministry must be done, not with this type of bickerings and this type of I I said, she said and I'm going, I can't say. And we decide everything we can say in our hearts. It's not everything we can do. We can talk about move away. That's overcrowding. The way he spoke to me and maybe he didn't greet me. Everyone is this person came. He didn't say that to me. And we were back and and the church members are just 28. Meanwhile, you are a great pastor, you are a great leader. You are a great leader. You are a great leader, great leader under you have found yourself in the lift of 20 members when there should be 15, only 15 people in the left. An objective is going to drive your life. Yes, a new, a new, a new vision is coming your way. Yeah. A new light has been, has been let in front of you. Yeah, a new, a new, a new picture has been painted for you to look at. We are looking at different things, you know, and, and, and you need to be very careful. You need to be very careful as we are doing the ministry with all kinds of attitudes, all kinds of spirits, all kinds of hearts and all kinds of issues in our hearts. If you die right now, going to heaven may be a problem for you and we are clapping our hands. This afternoon has been a very powerful time. Amen. Let us receive Bishop to bless us. Halil, great glory to God you guys are doing a great job. OK Father, we thank you for this opportunity in Jesus name, Amen. OK, now how? OK, money wax against the mission. You are the only Jesus some will ever see. If not in you, I wonder, will they ever see one who really cares? Live not from you. How will they fight? There's one who heals their broken heart, gets tight to the blood, 'cause you're the only Jesus some will ever see. You're the only words of life some will ever read, so never see in you the one in whom is all they'll ever leave, because you're the only Jesus some will ever see. I wonder who will show them love and love alone? Can we make things anew? If not from you, how will they learn? There's one who says their hopelessness for joy and we leave it. Turn of the old, the old Jesus some will never see. You're the only words of life some will ever read. So let us see in you the Word in womb is all they'll ever need, 'cause you're the only Jesus some will ever see you. So let him shine, let him soar, Oh, let them see him and you. You've gotta let them go because you're the only Jesus some will ever see. You're the only words of light some will ever read. See in you the woman whom is on they'll ever need 'cause you're the only trees I and you're the only cheese some will ever see. You are the only Jesus some will ever seen. So if you don't go, if I don't go, there's going to be a problem. Is everybody here? Because I somehow get a feeling some people are here, some are not here. Everybody's coming. When or when? When? I don't think we should run the camp that way. I think everybody should be here all the time. When we are having a session shouldn't be. Some come, you choose, I'll come after an hour, that kind of thing. So is everybody here? Maybe I should give you a few minutes. No, no, don't, don't, don't put on it. No, no, we are not doing that. I don't want to have a camp like I'm not used to that, so I'm I'm just going to wait. I wake up in the morning and look into the mirror. And so I look into your love eyes, you see me through your love eyes, and beauty is what you see in me, 'cause you washed me with those tears falling from your love eyes. All the people see is the part of me that's showing. They figure that's the way I'll always be. But you look ahead to the day I'm full grown and there's nothing but beauty and me. And so I look into your life love eyes, you see me through your love eyes, and beauty is what you see in me, because you wash me with those things falling from your love eyes. And so I look into your love eyes, you see me through your love eyes, and beauty is what you see in me, 'cause you washed me with those things falling from your love eyes. I've heard it said that love is blind, but I know that just in true because the love can leave the past behind. Lord, I want to like you looking to your love eyes. See me through your love lies and beauty is what you see in me. Because you wash me with those teams pouring from your love eyes, your love eyes, your love eyes. You washed me with those tears falling from your love eyes, Your love eyes, your love eyes, your love eyes, your love eyes, your love eyes, your love eyes. You washed me with those tears. When a man has found a wife, he has found a good thing for his life and the whole world with a greed. Companionship has made her feel so confused with you and me and the light up above. We have security with you handed me and the lot of people. We have security. You changed my life with so much joy I can't even remember how it used to be. Even though we disagree, still know that I love you and you love me. With you and me and the love of the bird, We have security. With you handy and the light of the blood, we have security. And the light of the blood, we have security. Where they give you, oh, there's a lot of the world. We have security. Oh, yeah, we have security. We have security. You are flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone. There's no one closer. You are flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone. I do give my life to you today and every day I will take good care of you and shower you with friends. Others try to separate us, but they don't have a chance. No one else can take a blaze. No, not even one 'cause you a flesh of my flesh phone a my phone. There's no one close. I you a flesh of my plan phone a my phone we all want. I do give my life to you today and every day I will stand right by your side whatever comes away. I have searched and searched for someone who can make my dreams come true, but no very man in this world is the ready 1 like you. Flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone. There's no one close. I eat the flesh of my blesh, bone of my bone. And we got one All blessed are my blessed boat. Up my boat. There's no one blows. Are you all blessed are my blessed boat up my boat. We are one. Nobody gets too much heaven no more. It's much harder to come, like I'm waiting in line and nobody shows too much love anymore. It's outside of the mountain, but harder to time. Who I'm going to let you know doesn't have enough. Above, made of pearly gates, precious trees of gold. No more painful tears to my right. I believe we live in our forever. This will always rain and never die. Because the love is such a beautiful thing. So just take his hand. If you buy the piece, he will take you there. If you just believe that nobody gets too much care and yoga, it's much harder to come life. I'm waiting in life and nobody shows too much love anymore. It's at the harder to find. Take a look around. There's confusion everywhere, people running back and the homeless child seems to think that they will care. Something to run. When will all this head be over? I must come to ride because the love is such a beautiful man. We need to wonder, sad, with an open heart we can change the world. Just give love a try because nobody gets too much heaven. Don't talk. It's much harder to find life. I'm waiting, I'm waiting in line. Nobody shows too much love anymore. It's as I am the calmly but harder to find. Oh, nobody shows too much love. A long It's much harder to love life. I'm waiting, I'm waiting in line. Nobody shows too much love anymore. It's as high of the mountain but harder to climb. It's the highest mountain to climb. Wow. OK, OK, good, good. How does it work that illusions? Amen. That's how which is work against, you know, the mission #1 money, riches and wealth cause you to enter into temptation directly opposite to what Jesus said, Pray deliver me from evil. Let me not fall into temptation. Riches and the desire for riches causes you to fall into temptation. So you see, the very thing that is needed to help the mission work causes you to fall into temptation. The thing that you need, isn't it amazing, causes you to enter into a kind of temptation and if you need it. So it's almost like dynamite. It's like having a gun. It can be harmful and it can help you. And in some places you need to have a gun, but it's very something you have to handle gingerly because the very thing that you need can harm you. It's like nuclear weapons. Every country that has nuclear weapons is at the risk, is at risk of being blown up into pieces overnight because any country that has nuclear weapons can suddenly turn into a big bonfire if somebody does the wrong thing, somebody plans hard enough and long enough can turn the whole country into something else. And we've had lots of films with such things that somebody who got hold of a nuclear weapon, somebody who got hold of a nuclear weapon, somebody who got hold of a nuclear weapon. James Bond, you name it, they've had in lots of films on that. And you know, the films are scary because many of the films have happened. You know, you can't imagine that it happened. So, ladies and gentlemen, why do I say that witches makes you fall into temptation? Because the Bible says so. I told you I did not write the Bible. It's something you must always remember. First Timothy 69 They that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and helpful lasts, which drown men in destruction. Amen and perdition. So the first thing is that riches and the desire to be rich has a way of leading you into temptation. Not only does it lead you away from God, but has a way of causing you to be tempted. That's true because many of the things you want, you want so badly to be in America. And because you want to be in America, you've seen a sister who has a green card, and this sister with a green card is not the right sister for you. You get it. Now you look at yourself. You are so tempted to marry her and maybe one day to leave her. I mean, you know very well this marriage is not a genuine marriage. Riches, the desire to be rich has a way of leading you into temptation. So to to when one day somebody said I love money, he was sitting in front of me. He said I love money. You know, I was immediately scared. It's not going to like any particular financial thing or a particular country, a particular place, a particular amount of money. It's not a good thing. It, it has a way of leading you into temptation and there are things you wouldn't do. I remember a brother, I, I visited a church and after a sister came to see me and she said she had a problem. And I said, what's the problem? She started crying. I said, why you cry? I said, my husband, my husband is asking me to do something I, I cannot do. I said, what is your husband asking you to do? She said, my husband wants me to have a child, but I cannot have a child. And I look at this lady, she was very, very fat, very fat and I couldn't guess her age. I just because when somebody is fat, you can't really tell the age because it adds so much to the age. So you, you think a person is older than a person actually is. But then she said eventually she said, I'm 52 years old. So I said, wow. She said, yeah, my husband wants to leave me. He says, if I don't have a child. I said, oh, how Then she said, and my, my periods stopped two years ago. I said, really? I said, yeah, I'm, I'm a post menopausal. I'm a menopausal, post menopausal of menopausal, post menopausal. Yeah. I said, really? I said yeah. And then she said eight years ago, I did tubal ligation. Wow, tubal ligation, he said. Because in my previous marriage, before I married this husband, I had children and I did tubal ligation and I'm postmenopausal. But he says that if I don't have a child, he's going to leave me. Then he has shown me the clinic to go to. He said there is a particular clinic where they can make you have a child even when you are 55. So I said, look, let me go ahead and call your husband. So he called. Let me call the husband. When I saw the husband, the husband was like the son of the woman and the husband was a pastor. Yeah, it was a pastor. Now this lady was a citizen of a country, and this brother was also the citizen of a certain W African country whose name begins with N. Are you listening? You see the point that I'm trying to explain to you is that and at the point I said look at the pastor sitting, it was like he was sitting by his mother. I said to him, my friend, when did you marry this? Did you know when you married her that she had done a tuber? I said I know, are you aware that she's post menopausal? I know. Why are you asking her to have a child and you are going to leave her if she doesn't have. And I said, listen, we are not children. If you want to leave your wife, say that you want to leave. Don't start all this kind of whatever. If you married her, you got your passport, whatever it is you wanted to get from her, they go. Isn't there some things you know, you don't have to be so grown up to see through? What about Class 3? You can see through these things. You get what I'm saying? And the point I'm making is that why do we get into such things? It's our desire to be abroad, our desire for riches, and it causes us to get into situations which we would never have gotten into. True riches have a way, and the desire to be has a way of causing you to even be tempted. Maybe God has spoken to you clearly. You will not even be tempted to disobey him, but your desire for money and your desire was. Suddenly you are tempted to disregard something that you have had even a clear vision. Not even that I am preaching. God has told you. God has told you clearly, but it's like you just disregard it because of your desire for all these things. It's not good to have a desire for these things. It's amazing that things that God just gives to me and puts in my hand, I have no desire for them. They are like valueless things to me. It's amazing. But those are that. I see how people cherish them. People cherish them so they give up everything. You are tempted to disobey the call of God and every aspect of God's calling to your life is just set aside. Why? Because of and you see, where does this temptation come from? It comes from the desire to have things. So anybody who wants to be rich straight away, temptations line up as soon as they get the announcement of here is somebody, there are seven of them, another candidate, they just line up there. So many things are available for you now. Temptation of this, temptation of this temptation of this, especially temptation to this obey God and instead of becoming an apostle, you become an anti millionaire. Instead of becoming an apostle, you become an anti millionaire. You are a rich man, but you are nothing. So be careful. If I as a pastor, want to be a millionaire, want to be rich, I will suddenly have a series of temptations. Number one, I have a temptation to set aside healing, Jesus, crusade healing. Just it's not a safe thing to do. It's not a safe thing to do. I'll set it aside #2 I will follow invitations to preach. Yeah, all over. That's all that I'll do. You see, from here, I'm going to Trinidad. I'm going to all these places they have invited me long ago. I'm squeezing their program into Sandy. So when I'm here, I will just add one day, two days, then I'll add this 10. They're all, I mean, they're not. I'm not taking them. I'm not doing them as I could have. It's true. I have invitations lined up and things. I can't come. My son met some people. So how we invited your father? He's he doesn't he doesn't want to come to us. Some people think I'm even proud. I don't want to come to them. They're mobile. But as soon as I want to be rich, everything about me you see will be different. I'm telling you, you see a different ministry all together. Yeah, it's true. I'll now take an interest in your money. It's true. How you will see. The people I befriend will be different. The friends I have will be different. Where I live, what I do, how I conduct myself, what I wear to be different. Do you know how many Americans have told me? You know how they're invited when you you must tell us when you come around. We really want you to come to our church in Florida, in Los Angeles, in Sacramento, in California, in here, in here and here. Yeah. You don't know. You don't know America plenty. You don't have any idea. Everything about the whole church will change. You will never see. What am I darkening the dawn of Sierra Leone for? Do you know how I'm going there now? Now everything will change. You just you just enter temptation straight. You get it? You get it. Yeah. I wouldn't even be interested in you. I wouldn't even be interested in a church. I said no. These are for immigrants struggling. My response and my response and they cannot even give. These are whatever it's true. You don't know, huh? Everything will change. So why should you now have a desire? So I want to, I don't know. I mean, I don't know if my preaching is going to have an effect on you, but I just want to. Money is a very dangerous thing. That desire to be this, to have this today is not a good desire. It's not a good vision. I'm telling you, take it from me, it's not a good vision. You see, you may have money. Money will come to you by not your vision. Yeah, because I'm not. I'm not at all in need or poor. But it's also not my vision. I'm guided. I'm always praying that God should guide me. Where should I go? I don't want to go anywhere for any wrong, especially for money. You know why I came here? I feel that we should plant more churches. This is the, this is the reason why I came here. I think we should plant more churches in America. That's why I came here. Not that we should have an American, I feel because I've not had any campaigning, I don't have that feeling. But I feel in America we should have more churches, plant more churches, and that lay people should become lay missionaries. This is the feeling I have. This is why I'm here. Amen. As soon as I have a different reason, the ministry will be different. I just can't even picture how it will be. Attractive that take them unawares. OK, so before you realize you don't even realize what is happening to you. Now, if you meet people who have become rich, you often realize that unawares, they develop certain attitudes, and you even wonder where they cut those heirs from and where they developed those attitudes from. It's just fantastic. And then you ask yourself, where were you staying before? Where was your house? Yeah. Where do you come from? I mean, who is your father? And you realize that they are not even aware that they have become something that they were not. You get it. And so riches has a way of making you become something or causing you to enter in a situation where you are not aware. That's why pride is something that is not easy to see. When you become proud, it's not easy to share. So one of the things ways you can take away pride from yourself is to take away the trappings. The trappings, they things that go along with a a big person, the things that go along with a big person or somebody that is important. It's like if you are great, you have to drive the certain kind of a car, you have to stay at a certain place, you have to fly in a certain way, you have to be in a certain type of dress, you have to wear clothes that come from wherever. All these things, you are not even aware that you feel that you are beyond a certain whatever. Yeah. Because unawares you become. Yeah, unawares. And it's a very dangerous thing. And so sometimes when you meet people who. Of being who are in certain situations, God has blessed them, they have certain privileges. You know, you suddenly see that unawares. The person has changed so much. And that's why sometimes some of the troubles we have in our lives, they are God's mercy to us. And sometimes I tell you, if we were not to have troubles, then not pray at all. Some of the problems, some of the things they are sent from God himself. God himself has allowed the devil to just enter your house and sleep in your room with you. You are now three. You are three in the room, you are three in them. You, your husband, your wife, and the devil, the three of your particular evil spirits. Lord have mercy. Christ have mercy. Lord have mercy. Actually, do you have a lot of messy? There is that one there. There are two DVDs, right? Try check and see if you're using the right one. OK, All right. One day I went to a southern country and I was, I was relaxing in this hotel. I had been to that hotel at least two times on two different other occasions and I always enjoyed. I was actually with my wife in that hotel on our 10th anniversary, I think, or some kind of anniversary. It was an advisory plan, but it happened that but what a memory. Actually, when we sat on the plane, we were flying out. We had been 10 years, 10 years, man. I took a ring, I put it on her finger and I called the air Hostess to come and take a picture. Put a picture on. Wow, 10 years your mind, something like that. What a shock. Love is such a beautiful thing. Don't sing that one for me, man. Nobody gets too much heaven no more. It's much harder to come. I'm waiting in life and nobody shows too much love anymore. It's as high on the mountain but harder to lie. Whom I'm going to let you know. Never have enough of us. Little purty cakes. Precious trees are gold. No more painful tears cry. I believe we'll live in love forever. This will always rain and never die. Because the love is such a beautiful thing. So just take his hand. Come on now. Put your mind at. Put your mind at ease. We'll take you there if you just believe that nobody gets too much heaven. No more. It's much harder to come by. I'm waiting and nobody showed too much. So anyway, I was on the plane and then I gave her the ring. So I came back to that country another time and another time, and this time when I came back I was alone. So I was in the room and I couldn't sleep. I tell you, the bed was strange. The bed was odd. Everything would look unusual. Then one night I was with some pastors who had come with me. They went to their room and as I sat in the room, suddenly I saw a man sitting in a chair. I tell you, what a shock. And an aftershock. And the guy, I tell you, does the man, he has crossed his legs. Yeah. He was sitting in a chair right there in my room no longer. We were two. We were two in the room. No, no, no. We were. That's why I couldn't sleep. That's why I wasn't happy. That's why I was not at rest. That's why there was so much tension. Yeah, I couldn't. That's why anytime I go to a hotel room or anywhere, I always pray first before I start to settle in that room. What have I seen before now? Later, my host ask me a question. Is everything OK? But you know, I didn't want them to feel maybe I was a superstitious person or sanitizer. So everything's OK, Everything's OK. Then I met them. I left the country and I met them again somewhere, I think in Sweden or another country. We were talking and then they asked us. Oh, yeah. Then it came up. I said, well, you know, when we were there, there was something, you know, there was somebody in the room. I saw the person. I don't know if somebody has been killed or something has happened in that room, but there was somebody and their wife said, ah, what you are saying has happened to Doctor Chu before in Japan. And when there was somebody in the room and he was there, then he gave us that because I was like, wow, I've never heard of it, but I saw the person like that and then it was off twice. I've seen things in rooms. Yeah. This was just a person. Other was not a person. It was something else. So some of you, there are three of you in the house. That is why there is no peace. Squatters, as Prophet Khakar wrote in his book, Squatters, all kinds of things. As some of you who were not to have this Anna Wes, you'll be so proud. God has given you intractable problems. Give me some volume up here, please. Intractable, you understand. Intract and solvable and yielding and multiple to bring you down to your knees. Cry. Something that makes you cry. Something that makes you cry, cry, cry. Otherwise unawares. Most of the time when people try to congratulate me, immediately I think of my problems. Recently, I was somewhere, I had a great victory. And then somebody, my friend met me. He was saying, oh, it was it was great. Immediately I started to talk about my problem. Later, when I was on my own, I was thinking that it's the reflex reaction to any form of well done is to just remember all my troubles. The trouble don't allow you to rejoice. Yeah, and some of you, that's why you came to America. If everything had gone the way you had foreseen it over there, protected, you will not even come to the camp as you are here. Some of you are in the camp because you don't have jobs. You are here because you don't have a job. You are free. That's why you are here. But if you had got a good job, you wouldn't have taken the time off to come, thrill or not thrill. Isn't it not fantastic? That's why DJ says that when I see problems, people are having problems, having problems, I look at the problems here. Which one has been allowed by the Lord? Sometimes you don't even have to pray for it. You have to rather pray that the problem should. Lord, let the problem continue, let the problem continue. Lord of long continuance, what a prayer. One day I came to America. In fact, I don't know whether I was in America or in Ghana. There was a Doctor Who are working in America and the doctor has been through so many troubles. And I said upon the doctor, I said if it were not for the troubles, you will not be talking to me. The doctor said it's true, you will not be sitting here talking to me. You have had so many problems. If you have made it as you have projected, you will not be talking to me in the pastor's office. Something has brought your knees down. One day I went to a certain country and I I met the wife of the king of the president. When I finished talking to her, I said kneel down, kneel down. I want to pray for you. I said kneel down. I said, Lord, it's only because of you that his wife, the King's wife, is kneeling down because of her troubles. Otherwise you'll not look for the pastor. I've come to do crusade. You've come to see me. You see, unawares. It becomes so big, you know. Listen, not mine. Just woke. Just get up, you collar. Do you think we are here? We work here. We work. I think we are children. Lift up your hand, put down, put down your hand. One day I was somebody was and I said lift up your hand, put down your hand, lift up. Are we in kindergarten? He was angry at Ghanaian. He said, are we in kindergarten? Lift up your hand to the stand up, sit down. Are we in kindergarten? Why wow. Amen. So, brothers and sisters, something deceptive, theatrical. But before you realize now, another meaning of the word snare is to encounter an unforeseen or unexpected difficulty. See, if you were an animal walking in the forest, you encounter an unforeseen, an unexpected difficulty when you fall into a trap. So sometimes when you desire riches so much, it causes you to enter unforeseen, difficult. Now let me ask you something. How many will agree with me that there are many things that you did not foresee when you were coming to America? Raise your right hand. You did not foresee those problems when you were coming, you see, and your desire for money brought you into these unforeseen difficulties. Huh. This is the dictionary definition of trap. The word trap or snare to enter into unforeseen or unexpected difficulties. So when a little mouse or deer enters a snare, it has entered an unexpected or unforeseen difficulty. I mean, you realize that you were driven here by money and you entered into unexpected and unforeseen difficulties. If that is the case, shake hands with your neighbor and say, this is what I experienced when I came here. I entered unforeseen and unexpected difficulties. Oh, unexpected. I wasn't expecting it to be like this at all. What are some of the unexpected difficulties you experience? Green card troubles. Loss of. Job loss of job debt debt debt debt financial distress debt America stress financial crisis. Being alone, staying home instead of working. Father. Staying home instead of working. Unforeseen. Stress. Trying to settle down in America with green card paperwork and all that. It was unforeseen. Sudden dismissal from jobs. Sudden dismissal from job. Hey, what are some of the unforeseen? Jobs Job layoffs Difficult in finding jobs. Have you been laid off? Yeah, I've been unemployed for a long time. I was doing odd jobs for a long time, about two years. So right now you are unemployed. Unemployed. When I was coming, I thought I'd have a job forever. Why did you think you have a job forever? Because this is a place where, I mean, poverty rate is low, everybody has a job, you watch the movies, everybody has a job. So I thought I'd have a job forever. I never, you know, I'll be selling knives, catching knives. You thought you what I. Would never. I thought I was selling kitchen knives. You were selling knives. Kitchen knives on the streets, door to door. Door to door Selling kitchen knives. That's the job you came to do here? Yes. What degree you have? A degree? What? I had a bachelor's degree from Ghana and an MBA here, so after the MBA, I was selling knives. Oh, what a shock. Oh, what a what an aftershock. What unexpected difficulty did you find in Canada? You were not expecting stress, more stress than Ghana. I think so. My father, you never thought so. Honestly, I'm surprised. I never thought I'd have to work and raise children. I thought I'd be a housewife taking. Care of everything. Wow. My my employer cheated me. What she said she will give me is not what she gave me. You are surprised that you were cheated? Yes. Unforeseen. Unexpected. Difficulty. Death. Never expected that your wife would die. Unexpected. What about you? Paperwork. I don't understand paperwork. What is that? Now, Noah, what brought you here? Money, the desire for prosperity, making it in life. Money and all that brought you to America. Never thought that you have into such such situation. How many entered into mortgage and experience an unexpected difficulty? Raise your hand. Were you expecting it? I thought it was going to be very smooth. You thought it was going to be very smooth? What about you? I thought there would be enough money to pay it all the time. So it's what I've been preaching about mortgage. Is it true? Very, very true, Bishop, Very true. But ten years ago, were you here when I preached about it? I was here. But why didn't you believe it? Why didn't you believe it? Why didn't you believe that we had already entered into the contract before? Message came too late. Your message came too late, Too late, too late. What unexpected difficulty did you? Many long hours. Many long hours when expecting to work for such long, how long are your hours? 72 hours a week. What does it mean in one day? You go at what time and you come at what time. Sometimes as early as seven and as late as 11:00 PM. From 7:00 to. 11:07 to 11:00 Stress and death. When you were coming to America, you never thought you would be. Not at all. You have stress and death. You see? You know what they tell you? You're going to buy the house. All right? Everything's good. Hey, where's that? Where's that? The who's that? Yeah, the, the, the sound guys are very fire. OK, next time don't score the microphone. OK, what unexpected. I never thought I'll be here this long. You thought you would go back home. Three years talks. How long have you been here? 10. What a shock. All these people, they don't know how to shock. What a shock. Hey, I've got some diplomatic people in this area. I need some more policemen. This area, this general area, just give the general this this section. OK, OK, OK, OK. What about you? I never thought that if you were sick, it could be so expensive, you leave the hospital and you might never finish paying your hospital bill. So the sickness moves into the pocket. It's called pocketitis. Accused pocketitis stress and death stress and death. You may never know what limited and sons or and sons limited all the people. One day some brothers came to see me off at American airport, New York JFK, American Airport, and I was going, five of them. I was just about to go to the security and I stopped and I fell back and I told them, I said be happy. You remember? Yeah. I said be happy. I said there are 20 million Ghanaians who would like to be here. Be happy. You'll be amazed. Everybody wants to come. You are here. You are not happy. I can't. I, they, they may never know. Limited. So an unexpected, unforeseen difficulty. Always people who want to be rich and that is why even when Jesus was calling us to the ministry, He was always telling in this world you have tribulation, this world. He was not trying to make anything look rosier. He was saying take up your cross. If any man come unto hate, not his father, his mother, his wife, his children, his brother, his life, he cannot be my desire, he will have trouble. Take up your cross, sacrifice this. He never gave a rosy picture about Christianity. Unfortunately, we are rather now giving a rosy picture. Yeah, it's that we have some other version of Christianity, you know. And so you see, all these things look attractive. It looks attractive. It looks attractive, but it's nothing. It's just air. Do you understand me? So, my friend, all I'm trying to share with you is that be careful. As soon as you sense within yourself a desire for certain things, certain riches, certain whatever, good or married. Here's a good Christian brother nice. He doesn't have anything, but he's a good, he's a good whatever, but this one has money, he has this, he has this and it's like you are going that way. Be careful. You see that you may encounter an unexpected and unforeseen. Remember these two words, unexpected and unforeseen difficulty. These are three keywords amid the dictionary Oxford Dictionary meaning of snake, trapped and unexpected and unforeseen difficulty. Some of you came, you did degrees upon degrees upon degrees and then after that you had no job after that. After that, you found out that your accent was not right. I didn't know that your accent wasn't a right accent. It is clear that you came to find out that you are not a real whatever. You keep trying, but they always say you are African. Where did you come from? Where are you from? You got an accent, you got an accent. A certain brother, he came to America, did courses upon courses when he suffered. Oh yes, and he found out that his accent was not correct. What a shock. It neutralized all his degrees. Another brother, he did so many courses, he did accounting, ACCA, the British one, American, Canadian, different. So he to apply, he went to apply for a job, several jobs, every job they told him, sorry, you are overqualified, you're too qualified. But we don't need somebody like you, man. We can't pay for them. We're like whoa, he didn't never cut the job and he came back to you. It's unforeseen that not knowing that too much is also not good. That's not good. It's sad because it's like the thing which attracts you and presents itself as an alternative to God is a wicked person. Yeah. See, the devil is a murderer, the Bible says. For he was a murderer from the beginning. So originally, originally, this nice person is a murderer. Remember that? Yeah, You always remember what somebody's originally is. He's a murderer. When you are dealing with a person, said this person, don't forget, is a murderer. I had a friend, he told me, he said, look, he had a roommate. He was in school in a certain country's name begins with N One day his roommate told him, I want to tell you something that I have done before and he told him I killed somebody. Now he told me, you see this friend of mine, he told me he said, look, from that time I became afraid. I was afraid because my roommate is a madra who do not be afraid. So you see that something that the devil is using, you must from the beginning with the distance originally, what is a madra as its original mode. So I'm telling you, this mammon thing, you see it like that snare, snare, snare. That's why I really don't want to follow money. I want to follow God. Because as soon as I switch, you say, OK, now maybe I should have gone by this door, but I saw money at this door. So now instead of going this way, you see me going this way, I said God has called me. God has sent me to the other places that I'm going to this. I mean, I should have been going this way, should have been going this way, but I saw some pot of gold over there. I should have just gone this way nicely. This was my calling. This was my original ministry. I should have just come straight like this. But I saw something on that side. So I started explaining to the people, you know, God has just spoke. God spoke to me. He said I should, I should go this way, this way. I'll get whatever that souls there. No, it's not souls. It's the goat I saw and I'm lying to. So now that I'm not tempted to lie, I've started. I've fallen to the first temptation of lying, hypocrisy, pretense, have to make it up. And I did my direction. Now I'm meeting a completely different group of people, all these people, because this is where I started from. From here, you see, all these people are temptations and snares. All these roots here like this, all these are temptations and snares. This side was clear. The one that was heading towards the man is loaded with temptations and snares, loaded up to cross over headals, headals unexpected as a cameraman, all sorts of things. What is going to happen to me? This is some of you. This was God had a clear Rd. for you that you saw gold over there. You started a long tortuous journey and some of you are not going to get further than the camera because you look at this. I'm going. Let me take my shoes off and see sister, if I can go this way to the ends of the earth. Look at all. I have a clear way here. Look at what has happened to my life. Now look at I've met a strange woman who I was not going to meet this strange woman who I was originally. You know, I've seen such a girl in my life who I've seen a strange woman, a bunker. She's in my way. And so now I finish with her, OK, I finish with her and I see another strange woman. I'm going this way because I have to go like this. Now there are two in my life. I see, OK, I see I'm falling off. I'm foreseen. Oh, I'm also expecting these problems and I'm getting older now. Now that I'm in, I feel freedom here. I feel God is with me now. But now I've seen another. A witch, a witch. I've seen a witch. Look at that witch. I've seen in my way, Missy and then another strange woman here. Look at all my difficulties. I shouldn't have been here this time, but I saw some money this way. I change my homies every time I'm explaining things which are not true. I'm defending things which are not true. My sister, Chinese girl, I never know who also be in my life. Oh, now you say OK, let's marry. I'm going to marry a Chinese girl now. What a shock. My life is so different. The problems and difficulties. I'm tired, let me die. I'm there and the end of story. I'm tired, I'm tired life, because I never thought I would fall into all this problem. After I met the Chinese, When I met the Chinese girl, I said no, I've gone too far as far as China. I've gone so far, of course, into China and say it's enough, Lord, take my life and I just decided to die and I have lost my shoes, my shoes, and I have only one pair. Unforeseen, unforeseen difficulties. Let's see. No, no, no, no, no, no either. Either should not sing for money. She didn't sing for money. Andy shouldn't play for money as soon as it should change everything. So we have the way here nicely. It's going this way. It's now it's for money. Go and ask Helen Bella, go and ask all of them. She had she had praying grandmother praying for her. Go and ask all these people who were singing in the church, even Michael Jackson and all that. And so they were all in yeah, church people.
