04. The Enemy Of Missionaries

Welcome to track number four of the Volante. Hello. All right, thank you, Lord, in Jesus name, Amen. Sit down, please. Now we are moving to the next subject, which is the enemy of missionaries, the enemy of missions, the enemy of missions, the enemy of the missionary, Amen, and the enemy of the mission. All right, are you listening now? What is the grade #1 and chief enemy of missions and the missionary vision? Who and what is this enemy? Somebody said the devil. It's not the devil. No, no. So after that I'm going to talk about the test, the enemy, and then the great test that you have to go through to be a missionary, which many are failing. So I'm talking about the enemy and then the test and then we will go into what I call the Volante, Amen, the enemy, enemy number one. And the only enemy is money. Money. Now riches, money, wealth, prosperity is the number one enemy of the mission. Money, wealth and all the attendant things. That's what we call success. Money is the number one enemy to the mission. Why number one? Because the love of money is the root of all evil. Is there a reason why there's so much light shining on my face? Can it be reduced? I don't think it's, it's so unnecessary. Too much too bright. Yeah, this one, it's not that one. These ones. The love of money is the root of all evil. I didn't write the Bible. OK, so First Timothy chapter 8, chapter 6, verse 10 says the love of money is the root of all evil. That means that it is the root of all disobedience. It is the root of all backsliding. It is the root of all rebellion. It is the root of all barrenness. Yeah, it's better. Thank you. It is the root of all barrenness in the Christian work, is the root of all neglect, all the neglect that we have in the world, the roots. And remember when I was born, I came to find a Bible just like you. I'm reading the same Bible back to you. It's not my, it's not Bible. All evils. And this vest, I think, is more profound than we want to even accept. Any bad thing that exists in this world has its roots in money. Any anything that is bad. Yeah. So I'm saying this sometimes, you know, people talk and say that oh, Jesus preached more about money than anything, and that money is the answer of whatever I'm going to talk about all that money is answers all problems and all that rather money, you should hear what the Bible says about it. Anything evil, anything bad, any capital. A the root of it is money. It will always boil down. When you keep doing the calculations and keep whittling down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down, you will come to money. All types of conflict, all our divorces, all, everything but all our rangolization. People who rebel, People who rebel almost, I mean almost every pastor who has broken away from the church. There's always been a money element somewhere. Yeah, it's true. That is why I've often encouraged people to do the lay ministry because I I tell people that being a full time pastor is like walking on the rocks, you see. Because we all feel that the one who pays us and the one who is the source of our financial well-being is the source of our problems, you see. So we have a certain mind towards your boss, the employer, the country, anything that seems to be evolving in in sorting you out. There's a negativity towards that thing and they also realize that negativity is then also insulate themselves against whoever it's true. So the roots of any evil. I look at so many pastors who left. And so I was surprised to find that lay pastors would now also start trying to take over churches. Yeah, lay pastors. And and then there again, I found the root of it also to be money because I would see that in full time pastors, because many churches, the pastors break out because if you have a church in America, the president says, oh, since I have a church here, let me take over. Somebody is sitting somewhere here. We are the ones who are here. We monkey, the wet baboon, the chop. So what we are going to do is we are just taking over here. You can go to hell if you want to. By the time he comes back, we've done whatever we want to. To my amazement, something like that would not occur to lay passes. And in turn, it's a lot to occur to lay passes in their middle age who are going through midlife crisis. You see a midlife crisis is something that starts from after from around 3540 plus where people reconsider and you analyze the people realize that the business that I've been doing is not really working. I said I didn't want to be in full time ministry, but as I've been working, I realized that it is not working. You understand? And then they look and feel that I spend a lot of time. I go to church, I go, but why shouldn't I earn some money from that one as well? This lady shouldn't sit in front here. Don't sit here. Sit at the back, please. Please sit at the back. Amen. Are you with me? Yeah. So what I'm saying is that what I'm saying is that you, you, you cannot, you, you find out that. So a late pastor started to have that and they started to also look at the church as a source of income. Meanwhile, they did not want to be in full time ministry, you see, But then suddenly realized that it can also be a source of income or I can also control money. And then we started to have late pastors also beginning to have that thing and mostly at a certain stage of life because I'm the one who have been stretching out my hand for years saying come and work for the Lord, come and work for the Lord come and Oh no, no, no, just smile. They look at you, nobody will come and so on. I preach until when I come, grab it when I come and say I'm coming. So kill yourself for Jesus or full time ministry if maybe you made a joke out of me. So OK, fine, no problem. But as the years go by, the thing that you are doing is not even working in a way you thought it will work. Then suddenly you want to tell your attention, is there any other possible source of income from anywhere? Yeah. And I've seen this in a couple of passes. And when you look and you go inside, you see that there's a manufacturer in it, and you find that the Bible is true. Always. You come down to that same thing, that the root of evil is money. And that's why when I went to Korea, I was, I was actually impressed, you know, because we were just going around different offices and somebody asked, So what do you have to do? I wouldn't even have asked. So I was like, what do you have to do to be a member of this group of elders? And they said, Oh yeah, one group said, one mother said so you have to pay. They smile. So there was. So we have to pay $10,000 to be part of this group here. Yeah, apart from whatever we are paying, we pay 10,000. We are part of this group of people that I am. They are rather bringing money to the church. Look at my hand here. I've been inviting you to work for the Lord for years. Look at it. Definitely. True or not true. Look at it. So if tomorrow you want to turn against the church or turn on the church, do you understand? What you're going to find out is that it's not going to work out well because you're going to stir up a whole lot of things. Yeah. Because otherwise what is going to happen is that people will not even understand what is a lay ministry. You know, all the lay people will never work for God again. Everybody who said this group is for me for it's for my business. And I'm not doing the I'm not doing the church for my business. It has never been my business. It's not a business. I've been blessed. I never thought I will be what I am or have what I have or do what I'm doing. That's not why I'm doing it. When I was doing people say like, good luck. Yeah, all the best. It's true. So you will notice that at the root of many, many bad things, conflict and so on, you look inside, you see that those people either they are struggling financially, they have crises, debts, situations, different things. They have a certain mind. They want want to use the church as whatever. But you see, I was telling somebody the other day, a pastor, he was just about to do something wrong. I told him that look, if you are spiritual, there are some things you will not do because the Bible says if the foundations are removed, what can a righteous person do? I told him that this thing you are doing is out of bitterness, out of head, out of whatever. So when you do it, the anger of what you are doing is bitterness. It can never be a good thing and will not be a good thing. It's amazing. People don't listen, so you just leave it. So what I'm saying is that money, if money is the root of what I'm doing, there is. It's an evil thing. My preaching is evil and heaven will reveal it. I may impress you here, but heaven will look at what you are doing. There's no basis. I can impress you, but I can't impress God. You may clap for me, but God, God, God just looking at me and he's not. He's not saying anything because you ask yourself why did Jesus allow Judas to carry the money back and steal for so long? The same question you should ask why does he allow pastors for a long time to pull the money back and steal the church money for years without saying anything? It's the same question you should ask yourself. That's why he left Judas. He's also left you to steal. Amen. So if people are waiting for you, hoping that the lay missionaries are going to come and really do your best out there, then you don't go and they die and they go to hell. And that evil, the root of it was money. It was because of money. You didn't move and you don't do the work. It's because of money. You don't pray. It's because of money. You don't read the books. It's because of money. You don't read the Bible. You don't know. But I'm telling you, step backwards and see keep stepping back and see you see that all the way at the bottom of it. It's my that's even as you are here. That's why I'm trying to explain to you that I wish you would do the America for another reason. I wish I wish you can change over that you came with a reason. But if you can change the reason, it will be a great thing. It will be a because you can change. You see, God, God has no anything like, oh, this is my person who I like people who are not doing the will of God today, they can change next week. And you see, they will become God's best. Yeah. So that's what God, you have this, you flow. What about? That's why I never, I never reject people. I always pray. If somebody can say I want to do that, I can't say no because I'm not God. Somebody has taken 28 years, the person has changed at the last minute. Who am I to say don't come, don't do this. No, no, no, no, no, I'm not God and the person may be better than you. So listen, believe me, if you do not do his will, at the bottom of it, underline it somewhere is money. That's why I wish that I'll be able to point to everyone and say this one, you live where? You live where Pennsylvania, because of God, you are in Pennsylvania. I wish I can say that. And you, you live well, Maryland. I can, which I can say because of God, but for almost all of us, I can't say it's because of God. You are there. Is it not true? Hey, this thing is powerful. Oh, it has guided you. It has guided your whole life. So that's why when I when every when I stepped out, I said I was going to in the ministry. I was going enter the ministry. People look at me. It's like because for the first hand, they are seeing someone who is not being guided by that power. Yeah. Who is not being guided by that very powerful force. That is why I, you know, some almost instinctively, I don't like to go to places where they have money. Yeah, almost instinctively in the ministry, because sometimes I look at pastors. So, man of God, where are you going? So I'm going to America. All men of God go to America, all men of God. Can I ask myself, is that where there are souls? And you see somebody who could have had 1000 people in Africa is 10 with 63 people in America. So you ask yourself what is guiding the church And that is why you see places like Niger, the North, other places they have been left, left to whatever. Meanwhile that is where they are. So, so, so then you ask yourself what is guiding the pasta? So it's something that has been in me. That's why something that I feel happy to be able when I say that America, and sometimes I don't come here one year, 2 years, once in a while, then I come, I've been here twice. Both have been for funerals. Yeah, I don't. We are always. I mean, what is America? What is Switzerland? What are these places? It's nothing. Yeah. I, I, I because I can see that, even though we don't want to admit it, but many of us who are in the ministry, we see that, oh, we're going to America. He's good. Recently, I was. I was with some brothers. He said he was. They were going around with me. I was going here. I was going. He said they were coming with me, you know, I went so they joined along with me. We went to South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, different countries. Then I said, oh, after that I was going to Nigeria. So she can say that's our passive. This is what I don't like to hear at all. Don't tell me that you don't come to Nigeria. What is wrong with Nigeria? Why would you not go to Nigeria when you go to America? You see, So you answer that. What is the basis of all that? You see, our safety is this source, is it money? Is it safety? Is it secure? What is guiding us? So instead of being a projectile and a missile to go somewhere, you will not do it. And at the bottom of it, you will see that money is powerful and strong. I don't want money to to control me. And I always said I don't want to be a pastor who is hoping for people to give him something. That's why Galatians 6/6 Sunday and my birthday. What was my birthday? The church would organize, you see the French churches and so on. They would even give me a present. I one day I said stop, No, I don't. I don't want that. If somebody wants to do so, they should do it from their heart. But by now I'm organizing for 1000 locations sending me gifts so appreciate me sure I'll be I'll be rich. I don't want to organize something that is is is having a certain feeling What the what the root or bad thing, What the root, What the reason? If you if you feel spiritually when I went to Korea, you know, the Lord touched my heart and said, no, throw a seed. Yeah, sow a seed here, sow a people. I'm sowing seed. Somebody who says you give $2,000,000 every month for the last three years to a church, what seed can I sow in such a person's life? You don't give. You don't give seed because of a need. You give seed out of a spiritual sense that you have in your heart. You want to honour something, Amen. All these money related things, they are dangerous things, very dangerous, Amen. You should instinctively be worried about something that you realize that money is the guiding money is a very dangerous. That's what I said #1 enemy number one of the mission. Like when I look at you here as I'm preaching, I feel like I'm preaching to people who are covered with a net. It's true. It's like one or two can come out of the net. It's like there's an invisible net over you. It's true. And that net is money. If I go preach to a whole lot of poor people who don't have anything, don't have money, don't have this, don't have, don't have Visa, American card, green card, nothing. They just freeze it. Come, go, come. Most of you are connected #2 Why money is the number one enemy? Because the love of money, the love of money, the love of money, loving money is the root of Baroness. It's the root of not going on the mission. It's the root of no churches being planned. It's the root of not working for God. It's the root of all these bad things. I didn't write the Bible. Bible was written #2 Jesus calls money and riches. He calls it unrighteous or evil. Jesus called many evil. Amen. In Luke 16, verse 11, he said, If therefore you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, unrighteous mammon, you didn't just call it. If you have not been faithful in mammon, unrighteous money is an unrighteous thing. Are you there? Money is an unrighteous thing. Many people don't know it. Almost all money has its roots in something evil. That is why you would not be wrong to say money is an unrighteous thing or an what is unrighteous? Oh, it's unrighteous. Unrighteousness is evil. It's it's a bad thing. But money is the money answers all things. Money answers all things. I wish above all things that thou Mears prosper and being held. Let's look at the Bible carefully. Money, Jesus said if you have not been faithful in a righteous mammon who will give you true riches. So I'm preaching against money. I'm calling it what the Bible calls it. I didn't write the Bible. The Bible calls unwriter. Almost every evil, almost all money has its origins in evil. Let's, let's, let's look, let's look at anywhere which is rich. Let's look at let's look at the wealth of Britain. Where does the wealth of Britain come from? Commonwealth. Where did they get the money from? How did they get it? Conquering, killing and slaving, Murdering, raping. When you come to Ghana, we have a castle. You see, some of the rooms are used for raping the women. It's true. The origin of all, almost all wealth is in blood wickedness. Look at the blood diamonds you can call your men as well called blood dollars. Why? Why do you think America goes to fighting? So many people are dead. So many innocent people, Americans are, are dead, fighting in Iraq. Why? What's up? All Iraqis and all Iraqis are going to have freedom, going to have democracy. Why didn't they do it in Liberia? Why didn't they do it in Liberia when Liberia was when Liberia was happening, the country which was created by America and their their ship was just outside. They just needed to just drop one or two bombs and end the hotel. They never came. The ship was out there. They allowed the people to kill. I can show you a film. I don't think I have it there. I can show you a film. Liberia, huh? Yeah. You were there. Did you see the American ship out there? That's it Drove you out. Why wouldn't they come there and you should see I watched a film. I saw that guy. He cuts out the hat and they eat the hat because of what do you remember that he watched it. He sure he said they eat the heart of your enemy. That's what they they do that and your enemy is your brother, fellow Liberian. They shooting, killing. What was the, what's the root of the, the diamonds? People are wearing the diamonds. They have diamond crowns and all that. That's why they made the film The blood Diamonds. Where did the diamonds come from? Where did the diamonds come from? People are fuelling the, the, the, the thing. You go to Nigeria, they are so rich. One day I was driving in a car with a Nigerian lady. She was a young lady. She was in school in England. As we were driving by on one of the streets in London, I think Finchley Rd. there was this dealer of Mercedes-Benz. I think they are still there at Landay. Mercedes say look at the tall Benz with the two doors, with the whatever. What do they call the ones that open the room? Convertible, whatever. He wants to buy one. It's 20,000 lbs. So students at that time it was 20,000 lbs. Now it's like 80,000 lbs. OK, I'll come and buy 1:00 tomorrow. And that she was talking fantastically rich. And you ask yourself, where did they get the money from? Which work do you do in Nigeria? And your father, what work does he do? Most of the rich people, where is the origin of the money? That's why many big families have diseases, hypertension, diabetes, sickle cell, asthma, sudden death, heart disease, epilepsy, mental illness, different things. It runs in the families. When you go to France, we go to Paris. You see black people plenty. Where are they from? These are the children of the Mobutus, the huffed wanings, the children and they are all millionaires. Go to any top hotel, you see them there. I didn't go to Paris. You can see sometimes only two white people. Everybody else is black and they're wearing their clothes. But manly, Guinea tinnica. Could they wear Congo off full lap in Paris? Full lap, I see. Well, they have money. Where does it come from? It's very difficult to get money and manly. Most of the roots of it is evil. Some of you came here. How did you come here? Through lies. Some of you through lies. Through deception. Yeah. In order to be. Listen, No, I'm telling you. In order in. Order to be here. In order to be here. What did you do? Yeah. You marry somebody, Stay with somebody. You fake documents, you change your name, give another name, we'll call you Abna that you are a boy. How did you get here? So much so that when you go to the Swiss Embassy and other embassies, they write, they wrote Switzerland. They don't even believe in God. They put a scripture, proverbs about he that tells lies something something something the Switzerland that is dead. These are people who don't believe in God. They made it and put it at the reception. Yeah, because in everybody that tell me is telling a lie, those who tell the truth, they will not give them visas. Is it true or not true? Some of you, you slept your way into the position that you are. It's true. What a shock. Some of you slept your way here. Maybe you sleeping with the Minister of Moon and Stars. And then through that you've got a, a, a, a visa or maybe many rich people, they start with a bit of drugs and when they've got a bit of money, then they convert. That's why they call money laundry. Like you take the money you have and put it in the laundry to wash away the drugs and wash away the bad origins of the money. And when it comes out of the laundry, it is now clean. That's what they call money laundering. So you put the money that you've got from bad activities into the laundry, wash it out and then now it's clean money. So now you have a printing press or now you are into, you open a shop or you sell cement or you sell whatever. You have put your money through the laundry and now it looks like that is what you are into. One lady was quarrelling with her husband and they were speaking in three, you know, because it was her husband and her husband had got a German man as a partner. And the man, he, she had told the man, the man had told her, Tell him that you are my sister. You are my sister or my friend. So he had given his wife to the German man. And so she had been sleeping with the German man for the man so that the business would work. And now she was angry with the, with the husband. And so they were having an skewing. You have made me do this. Oh, for business. So when when you see that you all you are doing is you are all that you are doing in this world is to just do what this money tells you to do, you don't understand that you are obeying an evil thing. Something that is so tainted and so evil in its origins, its sources, and even towards the basic money that you see there is so evil. And all your life is guided by this dirty thing which is covered and colored with blood. That's why they call some money blood like drugs. Money. It kills people. Drugs. You see, when you take cocaine once cocaine, you can sniff it. You can put it and make it into little balls, and they call it crack, you can sniff it and so on. Once it has such an effect, once you taste it once, they can't even tell who it will be. But just once you may be addicted from from that just one touch of it. So that's why it's powerful. You just have to get you to taste it once, then you need it. You always have to go for it and you have to pay for it. It's very, very strong and it can kill. It causes heart rate to go up, heart attack, all kinds of things, and you just die suddenly. If you go a little overdose and you can't tell what dose, each time you need a little bit more. So they pump it into the system and then it's blood manifold or you see somebody holding minds. Oh, offering prostitution. People have been prostitute. Some of you, you've not been called that word, prostitute has not been used, but actually you are. You are actually a prostitute who's changed based on the number of people that you have slept with. Nobody knows. If you ask, you just have had three boyfriends or one or two, whatever, but you not say the real history. Money is a very and Jesus said if unrighteous mammon, it cannot be trusted with it. It's a dirty dirty. In other words, I was saying dirty money. So if dirty money is all that guides your life, every decision you've made in your life has been based on this dirty thing. It has, you know, Holy Spirit has not been able to, to, to to guide you. The word of God has not been able to, but this thing has been able to make you take all the decisions of your life. What a shame. When you get to heaven, you'll be surprised. All your life you're guided by this dirty thing. Money when found in circulation, six weeks after circulation, put in circulation, you can find so much blood in it on money. Money is one of the filthiest. If I touch money, I have to wash my hands. I cannot hold money and eat so that you see people who hold money, then they will serve food. They will do all that. It detected the bacteria, blood, feces, HIV. All things have been evil, but all kinds of things have been found on money six weeks after circulation. Yeah. It's an agent of so many evil things. This is what guide you. This is what made you come to America. This is what you give your whole life for. This is what you give up everything for. You do so many things. This is what you start a church for. Made a mistake? I must not as I'm pushing, I didn't see why should I travel somewhere there places will invite me to preach because they will give me money. That is where I'll go. No, no, it should not guide me. It must never become my guiding principle. I must not take a job because of that. I must be guided by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit must guide me and make me do what I have to do. That's why I'm saying to you, look, if it can be possible that you will break out of, but you think about why you came here. Think about how why you are here. If you just just at this time, why don't we just be honest and stop pretending. Let's stop, let's stop, let's stop lifting up Shields of faith, Shields of faith against the word of God. Your shield of faith should be against the devil, not against the word of God. And just say, look, it's true, Youngicho. He said, look, devil's coming to us all the time. You see where he preaches? You think that he's as if he's saying something funny. He said devil come to us all the time. He said in the evening before I sleep, I cast out the devil and out of myself. I cut the devil out of myself and then I leave. The morning when I wake up, I cast the devil out again because maybe once I was asleep, the devil came in to me. I tell you, the devil can come in to us easily instead of instead of all looking so righteous and you don't really really know what I'm preaching about or you can't really understand what I'm saying that what I'm saying is a bit perfect. Look at young. He chose 75 years old. He has preached and done so many great. He says in the evening he cast the devil for during the day devil that have entered him. In the early in the morning he cast them out again so that those that came during his sleep will also go out. Didn't he say that? He said he said that. He cast out devils all the time as part of the Holy Spirit sign, the sign of the Holy Spirit on you. He cast out devils. He cast devils out of his life all the time. Money and very. Anybody who is from Ghana, who is from the coast of Ghana, either a Gan or a Fanti, your father or your grandfather is likely to have been involved in slave trading. Your great grandfather, great great grandfather, likely to be having my great, great, great grandfather there. I wouldn't be surprised if they were slave traders and there will be women passing. May you be cursed. See people cursed. You see one of one day I saw a certain lady, her child, something happened in the school and she reacted and I said why? I've seen what affects this lady is the child. These are people, nothing pains them. It's only the child, child. If you touch the child, it pains them. So people and the devil have also seen what to attack. So some people when they are cursing, they'll curse their child. They don't even leave you. A certain man was married to his wife for 3020 years or so. She didn't have a child. So he went and he married another lady. When he was going to get married, either the pastor or the wife whom he was leaving, she cursed the husband. She said may you have an evil son, his order. She said you will have an evil son. And the son what that was born was called Ivan the Terrible. That is Ivan the Terrible, the first son of Russia, Ivan the Terrible. Caesar is Russian for Caesar son of Russia, and he will make black to run him in Moscow. And he did. Very, very wicked man. So you see some people you catch, so you will sleep. They'll catch the child, the child, and you have the child, you have the grandchild, you have the third child. Sometimes all the struggles you are going, you don't even understand what you are going. So you'll be praying they'll be laying hands on you. You don't understand what is happening with your life. All because of money. A certain pasta he saw a sudden beautiful lady, but this lady was even even older than him. You see, there is no lady in this room who is as old as that Lady. There's no lady here who's as old as that Lady. And the the brother was a is also was 1/2 caste like myself. The young man was about 25 years old, and he married an elderly. The woman was about 55 or 60. So when I saw this young guy with an elderly woman, what is he doing? Then somebody told me, the wife, he's a millionaire. He's a millionaire. Yeah, he's a millionaire. Look, don't shout at somebody when you are guilty of this. Many of you. You marry someone. You have a green card is in it. I love you. I like to marry you have a you have a green card is in it. You have a green card is in it. I love you. You have American password, isn't it? I love you. I marry you. It's true. If somebody is going to marry you, you see, we are not honest though. That's why we have so many problems and we can never understand the head or tail of these problems. A certain pastor, he, he married a certain rich lady. One day there was a terrible quarrel in the house, and the rich lady said enough is enough out and she drove him out of the house. And when he was going she went to the wall. This she went to the wall and she took a war clock and gave it. This is what you brought. She gave it to the guy out of the house. This is what you brought to the marriage out of the house. It's a true story. I'm telling you. So as you are, son, as a lot of evils we have in our life, we don't. The root of it is evil. Jesus a son. It's a bad thing. That's why I I don't want, I don't want to celebrate my birthday based on that. I don't want to go and preach somewhere based on that. I don't want to be friends with you based on that. I don't want to have a relationship with you based on that. I don't want anything of my life because of that. I don't want anybody to work for me based on that. I don't like it. So how much you how much, how much are you offering? Occasionally I've had people who work who come and they say how much is this? I remember 1111 lady, she was talking about some figures and I said, oh, I'm not used to this. All the people who work for me, they are very high, very highly educated. I have secretaries that would have took bank managers and what have you. None of nobody earns anything like what they would they would have earned in the world at all. And they work happily. I don't like this money. How much is it this and that ish, I'm afraid, or even of such a person. How much do you offer? The ministry is not based on that, on such a dirty thing. Preaching should not be based on a dirty thing like that Sunny that is covered with blood. Look at our American freedom, independence. The the you had a war of independence, then you had a civil war, independent war to break away from Britain. Then after that the civil war between the North and the South. So many, and it was because of black people. The Southerners wanted the slaves and the Northerners did not want the slaves. The Northern wanted to set the slaves free because they were getting all people from Germany, Portugal, England. There were people that come, so they had a lot of people working to work for them. Everybody who counts lands at New York before they go down, so they had a lot of work. I said if we release all the black people, our farms and all the work will just end. You get it? So down South, Louisiana and all those people, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. They are going to fight it too. And they fought and about 1,000,000 people died, you know, just for black people to be free. So the black people, they killed in the ships and they killed themselves also the black people they killed in the ships to bring our slaves. Do you see? Then they killed themselves or 1,000,000 of themselves to set these people free and cheated them or cheated them, raped them. All the fake alert people that you see, they are all raped women's descendants of of raped women, all because of money. Is this the enemy of the mission? Why? Money is the enemy of the mission, isn't it? Number one is because what #2 is what he calls it unrighteous and evil #3 because money Jesus or money is used in place of the devil. OK? Inside of the devil the word money is used. So the money is a replacement for devil. And I want you to listen carefully. Jesus said in Matthew 624 no man can serve 2 masters. He will either hate the one OK and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon and you say God and the devil. He replaced the devil because we all know the arch enemy of God is the devil who exalts himself so high and tries to make himself equal to God and tries to exalt himself so that men would serve him rather than God. Do you understand? Yes, but here Jesus tells us clearly 2 masters cannot have both. The two masters we are dealing with. The arch enemy of God. It's mammon money. Wow. The arch enemy of evangelism is money, It's money. The arch enemy of being passed is money. The arch enemy of all that we are trying to do here is money. You see, many of you wouldn't go if you are going to lose. Even your salary should drop a little or your living condition should change. When I asked Pastor Joel some years ago to leave New York, he he, he, he, he delayed in leaving for some time. Then at that point when he was finally going, some people put two and two together and said, ah, the reason why he's going is because houses in Atlanta are cheaper or is the conditions living in conditions in Atlanta are better or some they came up with some reason because you see, that's how people smile. There must only be some riches somewhere or some financial reason why you are doing. There can never be a reason which makes you lose some of these dirty things. And it is like it's incomprehensible. It's incomplete. Anything you do, we know what is moving you. One day somebody asked me to be a member of his board. I said, OK, I, I, I don't mind. I can give you some advice here and there. Then I was there and he brought some money. I said, what is this? He said, oh, we are paying you. He said, me, you are paying me for what? And I look at him, I realize this businessman, he's my only way that people only do things for money. Yeah, these are people think and and see, this is how and I realized this is how the world is. Everything is because of money. No vote because of money. They do everything because of money. That's the motive, the reason, the reason why the reason why not is always money. This is the challenger of God. Forget about the devil. It reminds me one day a lady, some a child was talking about the the the parent who was being said that if if this person doesn't leave the house, she said, then there's there's no need of the devil If the person doesn't leave the house, If there's no need of the devil, once the person is there, there's no need of the devil. There's no need. I listen with my only said if this person doesn't leave the house, there's no need of the devil, even once the person is there and then the devil is there. Yeah, and, and, and it's true. Once money is there, there's no need of the devil to sit on any of these chairs. Once we have money here, there's no need. And that is why the more money the place, the more difficult it is to get the word of God to wear. Yeah, because it's the opposite of God. It fights God all the time, the enemy #1 enemy of God, of his work. Yeah, think about it. All these years I've been coming to America, preaching, going deeper, doing more. It was the first camp we had here, I think. So I've had look, phenomenon, Moses and associates, predestination, gold gates and roads, tasteless and partakers. What is your life? Not even one person have I been able to extricate from this system to send anywhere, not even one. Yeah, the enemy is very strong if that's why, he said. If you are there, then there's no need of the devil. These are words I had before. Somebody you are staying with somebody in the house so that if this person doesn't leave the house, there's no need of the devil again in my life, she said, in my life, there's no need of the devil. I have the devil already. I don't need anything. Now this person is there and so the and the same thing that once we have a lot of money here, there's no need of the devil again. He's here. You cannot serve God or no more. You'll either hate one or despise that. So many of us, we actually despise God. Ah, you didn't think about that. Despise God. It's you and you, you. You can see even when you say, Oh no, when it's time for your child to be in the Bible school, you will not send your child to the Bible school. You will just. I want my child to go to Harvard, Princeton and what? Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. I didn't have any such vision for my children. So I'm surprised that I have a child in school, medical school today. And I'm so surprised. I never thought I don't have such a vision for my child. Yeah. And that's why I have a certain allergy towards things that are money related. Your love for me should not be money related, should not be something that is motivated. You love me, love me. Don't. Don't change your things because of money. I don't want to come here because of money. Yeah, money is a bad thing. No, Very very, very bad #4. Money is inherently deceptive. Money is a deceiver. Matthew 1322 He also that received seed among the phones. Is he that hearer? The word and the care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word. The deceitfulness of riches choke the word. And he becometh unfruitful. Amen. Everybody say the deceitfulness of riches, OK? What it means is that money deceives. Money tells lies. So when you came into this country with all the dollars, money started to tell you lies. Amen. What are some of the lies that money tells you #1 Money tells you that you need me, you need me, you need me, you need me, you need more of me #2 you need more and without me you will die. That is not true because there are a lot of people who have far less money than you have, and they are OK. In fact, they are even happier. Do you think everybody lives in the world in America? Most people don't live in America. If the world had 100 people, only 5 would be from America. Amen. OK, the next thing is that money tells you that riches are the real source of power. Amen. Money tells you that real power comes from having money. That's why many people try to have money. You see that Jesus had a lot of power and authority without money. He had a lot of authority, but not money. The apostles had money, had a lot of authority, you get it, but no money. You can have financial power, but you don't have power. Yeah, you can have money, but you don't have authority. So there are many people who think that if I have money and I show money, if I show a car, if I show people a car, I show people my house, you see, they will respect me, that I have real power. That's why I love to take people out in my old car. Yeah. Because people think that money, if you show money, you are you are you really have power. We are all trying to get a lot of money. Show power, show money. And because of that, people, I'm going to live my life together. I want money. I will get a car, I will get a Benz. I will have this, I will do this. All our life is for that. People wouldn't come to the camp because of money. They will not step out of the camp. So I'll lose money, I'll lose my work. Although I have to be at work, I want to show up. This, I'll do this or whatever, all that money, money, money all the time. The more I have, the more I'll be OK. The more I'll be blessed, the more I'll be happy. Another deception is that money tells you the more of me you have, the happier you will be. But Jesus said a man's life does not consist in the abundance of things that he possesses. The money tells you that if you have more money, you'll be happier. No, when you have more money, you have more fears and you have certain problems that you didn't have when you were a poor man. One day I visited somebody's house and the house, they have the high wall. Barbed wire, security fences, doors, everything. And the next door, there was no wall, there was no gate. They just lived in a Hut, a little makeshift structure within their yard. And I was thinking that the people in this house and the people in this house, these people have no problem. They are not afraid of armed robbers. They are not afraid of anything. There's no problem. These other people are so scared. Your next door neighbor is in the hat. No war. They don't have a main door. Hallelujah. The next one is that people have the deception that when I have money, all right, all my problems will be solved. And, and one of the reasons they they use the Scripture that money answereth all things. But the Bible tells us that there was a city that was surrounded and everybody in the city was going to die, and that there was a wise man, and a poor wise man by his wisdom delivered the city, not the rich. The poor man with his wisdom delivered the city. So the impossible situation was overcome by the poor man who had wisdom, and not by the rich man. Money could not, money could not, Money could not solve the You see, there are many impossible situations. Money will not answer them. We are doctors. We know what we are saying when it comes to a certain place, money does not solve it. Steve Jobs had enough money. The surgery that he had some years ago, Whipple's operation, it is rarely done. The success rate of that operation is depending on the, the, the, the volume that that was centered as if they do have about 16 cases in a year, then the success rate would be like about 50%, above 50%, but a low volume place to 20% and less, you know, die. And to do that surgery minimum $100,000 you pay. Yeah, to do that surgery. That's the surgery he had some years ago. Yeah, he had money operate whatever you see. But there is a place money will not answer. Only God can answer, only God's wisdom can answer so. But money tells you you can have everything. But then you come to a place you realize that no, money cannot do everything. So money keeps telling you, once you have me, you are secure. Once you have me, another thing money tells you is that you will, you will enjoy. You will enjoy it forever, but you will not enjoy it forever. You'll enjoy for just a short period. After that. You can't enjoy because all poor people, when you go to the Montry, deaf people, the poor and the rich are placed in similar locations and they go into the ground and after a while they are gone. Men and women, boys and girls, everybody's gone. There's no distinction. Money tells you're going to have it forever. The next one is that money tells you that the more money you have, the more things you can enjoy, you know, but you see a time, time where you can have 20 bedrooms, 20 toilets. I heard one man saying he has 17 toilets and bathrooms in his house. He has he has 16 toilets and bathrooms, toilets and bath and 1716 bathrooms and 17 toilets in his house and 16 bedrooms. Wow. But at the end of the day, at the end of the day, you can sit on only one, You can sit on only one toilet. I saw a rich man, he had a toilet. The toilet does a lab test every time you use it and sends a fax to the doctor. Yes what a shock. Every time you use the toilet, it does a lab test to Ari in the toilet. It does a lab test and it emails. Don't you have it? Don't you have it in America? You don't have this toilet here. I saw this long ago. I'm surprised you don't have it. I thought you had everything in America. I thought you had everything in America. I'm so surprised that you don't. Even me. I've seen it from Africa. I've seen. So every time you wee wee, every time you poo, poo is doing a laugh test and sending a fax an e-mail to your doctor. It comes to the doctor's, what do you call it office. Wow, fantastic. What is it doing for us? Are you really going to be happier? So all our lives is your money. Money, money, money, Money is so as I preach the word of God, the thing that is fighting my preaching most is money. It's true, it's true. As I'm giving you the truth, it's also deceiving you. I tell you everything. I'm saying something is telling you that it's not true, it's opposite, it's true, it's true. As I preach the by. The root of your rejection of my message is money. It's not even that you have some way, but it's money, not the devil. That's why somebody said that if this person is in the house, I do not need the devil anymore. Once there is money here, we don't need witches, Wizards, and we all call juju whatever. No, once there's money here. One day I went to a certain town to preach and they planted witchcraft in the field. Yeah. Another time I went to a certain town. I tell you, when I slept, I was attacked immediately, as soon as if I was even ready to sleep. It happened to me in three or four places. I even became afraid to sleep. I'll just be, I'll sort of sit up and be praying. We're having a crusade every night. If I close my heart like something is just attacking me like that in the night, every night. Yeah. But here in America, there's no need of the devil in that way. Do you understand? It's not enough such things. Money here. No, no, no, no, no, no. I don't need anything like that. No, no, no, no, no, no. I when I sleep, I just I just, I just have. I have not seen any Malam planting something outside of that. No, no, no, no. Let's not read on the table here. This money is here. When he saw them, I saw he just went to other places. He's left money to do his work here. Money will work here. There's no need of the devil. Well, I'm telling you, see, when you travel different places, you sense the spiritual. I'm telling you, I remember the first night I tell you, it was like, then I woke up each time I lay down to sleep. At the point I got up and I started playing some music. So actually there's some music that reminds me of that. One of the songs she was singing. It just reminds me of that place because I was just playing that one throughout the night and I'll just be praying like that. Hey, five nights tell you witches and Wizards and devils and demons by here. Money has been sprayed all over the place. And the devil saw they said, oh let's go to another you poo poo the faxes you we we, the e-mail. What do you need? Is it not amazing? Amen. And these deceptions make people have money as a dominant theme of their ministry. And you realize that this even reveals even more deception. Yeah. That instead of seeking true spiritual power, we are seeking financial power as pastors. Financial powers are the human beings instead of spiritual power and spiritual authority. Amen. The next reason why riches are very dangerous Amen riches are dangerous riches are dangerous Amen, is because riches rob a man of his sleep and his rest. A raw view of the rest. The time that you should be away even from your work. Ecclesiastes 5 verse 12. The abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep. The abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep. Now, many of us, all right, many of us, OK, because of the abundance of the riches that we have. Are you listening? Do you want a break? All right, OK, OK. Don't be too impressed. You know, when I was coming, I asked Doctor Nosh when are you retiring from medicine? I asked him, but he took my question lightly. It's a serious question. Is it a question that is being asked is when will you rest? The question is when will the rest that God has given you become available to you so that you can do what you are supposed to do with the time that you should have. That the abundance of the rich makes us continue and continue and continue and continue because you see, you need more money to secure the money you've secured. You need to work hard to secure the security you have acquired. If you cast your mind back to many years ago, some of you today, you have this, you have that, but you didn't have anything. And now that you have what you have, your eyes have been opened to something that is ahead, you need more. And it goes on and on and on and on until it's over. I need you in the ministry. I need you working for the Lord. God needs you working for Him. Not in a situation where it being your rest, your sleep, the break that you're supposed to have from this work so that you can give yourself to other things. You can't even have that. Think about your prayer life. When do you pray? You say your church is not growing. Of course it will not grow. It cannot easily grow with that level of prayer and spirituality. You don't have time. Let's face it, you don't have time. No work of God is accomplished without prayer. Prayer is first of all the first accomplishment It's accomplished. The first accomplishment is the accomplishment you accomplish in prayer before it's worked out in the natural. When will you rest? Huh. Wow. So that balance of the rich takes away even your your retirement, your rest. Wow. Yeah. You have to think to understand what I'm saying. Few people are philosophized enough to understand what is happening. TD Jakes said that when his father was dying, his father told him by the time life was over, that is when I understood what was happening. So he told him try to understand what is happening before it's over because one of these days the bell is going to ring. Plane, plane, plane, time to go. So what have I been hustling about? You imagine. Suppose you're going to die this year. Suppose you die before December. Think about all your what you have been hustling for. What have I hustled for? Have you thought about it? What have I hustled for? What have I struggled for? What have I gained? What has been my life? That is why one of the principles of life is to think about death. When you think about death, you become so wise. You become wise. You start to put things in a certain way. You start to do things in a certain way. For a long time you arrange when you start to think about death, you start to become wise. All the preaching that I'm preaching on, you suddenly apply it. You'll apply it to yourself and say I need to do this. Amen. So my friends, my Christian friends, I'm encouraging you to not allow money. You know, first of all, I want you to see that this is the reason why you are not able to do the will of and This is why it will take away your Bishop. You, you, there's a reason why you, you are doing what you are doing. We don't have that. You see, we don't have time to rest you, you, you, you can rest you, you, you, you, you don't need, you don't need to do this. We, we need to, but you don't need to. You need God. You need more of God. You need more of God in your life, Not more money, more God. Amen. Are you listening to me? Two days ago I met a billionaire and he looked at my watch. He said I like your watch. I said I was surprised that he would even look at my watch. I know he's a billionaire, not a millionaire billionaire. And he said, you know, I used to have Patek Philippe watch watches Rolex. So I looked at his hand. He was not wearing a watch. He said, no, I don't even wear a watch. You know all the because those watches, 70,000 dollars, $50,000 for. Yeah, they're wearing a house. They're wearing a car now. It doesn't even wear the watcher anymore. And it's it's not admiring my toy watch. It's not, it's not admiring my toy watch. You, you, is it? We, we are following things which have. There's nothing to them. There's nothing to it. You analyze your life right now. As as I'm here, when I sleep, when I lie down, I just because what? There's money here. There's no need of any divorcee at all. Amen.
