04- Bishop Ogoe Exhorting on 1 Timothy 4:15

Welcome to track #4 of Give thyself holy. Hallelujah, want to ask the Lord this afternoon to touch our hearts and guide us to give ourselves to Him as we serve Him. Amen. One of the times I've learned today is Griffiths. I care. And I think that some of us may, you may be here today, but you don't even understand what is going on. Some of you are here for. Different reasons we want to pray and say Lord, keep our minds on the ministry. You are a student, you are studying ABC, but you want to pray and say, Lord keep my mind on the call. Let's pray. And I'm reading the opening scripture again, First Timothy chapter 4, verse 15. The NIV says be diligent in these matters. Give thyself wholly to them so that everyone may see your progress. Watch your life and doctrine closely. Tell the riba. Watch your life closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your heres. Amen. This camp is a very important camp, and I believe that one of the problems this camp is solving, and it's going to solve as we go deeper is the problem of lukewarmness, mixing hot and cold. You see? Yeah. And I tell you that you have to be very honest with yourself and you have to be very frank, brutally frank with yourself to come to that realization that really you are just playing church and you are just around because of, you know, happenstances. You're on campus. Situations ABCD have come together so you are around. Do you see some of us? It is after school that you will know who you really are. The the the totality of your commitment can be seen at different levels. You know many of us here will soon one day become pastors. Or am I in the wrong meeting? So, so you must be aware that one you are committing especially in the in in the Kingdom of God because some of you are going to be past tests later. So you see, when you say give yourself holy, what are we saying? I mean, you're not even a pastor yet. You don't have a church yet. So what are you giving yourself holy to? You see, for somebody who is a pastor and may not be very committed to the to the ministry and to the to the things of God and to the priestly beauties, he has to be committed to. So there are levels. Now, what I'm saying now is that for many of us here, even your commitment to Christ is questionable. But there is a way you can be around, flow, be as if you are around and you are with us. You see, John, John says that they went out of us because they were not of us. Listen to it very well. They they went. Out of us because they were not of us. So there was a time there was a gathering of people, a group of so-called Christians, but truly some of them were really not of them. Then you went on and said you can give yourself holy to God after school as a worker, you work wherever and whatever, but you can give yourself holy and then ultimately you can give yourself your life, your days, your time, your 24 hours to the Lord in the ministry full time. It's also a type of giving yourself holy. But I'm saying that at your level, you see, we are not going to wait for you to finish school, come full time before you learn to give yourself only if you can't do it now, you can't do it then. Now let me pause and give you the good news. The good news is that from the from this session, you know, many of you came very late. A certain time was given, and some of you, even the way you were walking, it's as if you were. You were the bridal. Train coming into a wedding. They presented it as if that was everything, but that was not everything. What have you left behind? What is it in your life that we don't know about? As you are singing nicely? As you are dancing nicely as what? What is the problem? What, what? Who are you? What type of person are you that we don't know about? You are presented dancing to us, we are happy. You are presented singing. You are presented ministry. We are happy, but we are asking that what else is at the back? What have you left under the bed? If a wind blows, a strong wind from the east blows all, all our iPads and mobile phones into a room and we we check all the things which we have gone to search. If we check the history of your, what is the name? What, what do you call it? Your your your browse history. Ask your neighbor what is your browse. History. Some of your brothers, when you finish school, you are working whatever it is, instead of marrying, even at this time, settling with some beloved, you will not. Learn the habit of giving ourselves holy at our level as our everybody has something we are. Even Even if we are a full time pastor, there are still things God will ask of you. Giving a full time pastor doesn't mean you have finished giving yourself holy. What do you mean? Why do you think God is a fool? He's always asking for something. They are always levels, levels of, of, of commitment, levels of surrender, everything. When people get born again and they say I surrender or it's a type of song, but no matter who you are, you should be able to sing that song. I surrender. There are things to give up, but we must learn right now the first principle. Everybody say the first principles. If you don't have the first principles, I tell you. And every time as I listen to the podcast and I hear Bishop preaching and talking about holiness, talking about encounters, and I say Italy, this, this, this, this are very wild messages.
