03- What To Fight For

Welcome to track #3 on Fight the Good Fight anyway, So to fight a good fight means to fight for something. Fight means to strive vigorously. All right, And I'm going to give you how many? No, no, no. Well, I have more than 10 fights, number one fight to be LED by the Holy Spirit. Amen. 1st Corinthians 14 verse verse 10. There are, it may be so many kinds of voices in the world and none of them is without signification. This is what we've been talking about on Sundays. Fight to be LED. It's not easy to be someone said, so how can you know if the Holy Spirit, if your mother says this and your father says this, and how can you know when the Holy Spirit is the one? So how can you know if somebody touched you and you really like the person? How can you know that it's the Holy Spirit who is leading you? How can you know? Hey my friend, it's a fight. It's not something that you just know. You get it. That's why I say it's a fight. You have to fight and strive to be left because all the voices should be shouting when you speak to the fact. Look, a lady's voice can even chat. Sometimes you feel something going down this way, like hey, but it is not true. It is the voice. The voice itself is beautiful person speaks. Look, when I was in a relationship and I called my wife and said hello, she said hello, Jesus. Jesus. The voice alone. They were those of you ladies who speak like men. You have to learn how to speak softly. That was a soft answer. Turn it away. Rough must learn how to speak gently and softly to your man. So if you are not going to find out and you're not going to strive for the will of God, fighting for the will of God, you are not going to really have the will of God in your life. Because it is not natural to be strong. Because what does the Bible says the flesh is weak, the Spirit is willing, so there's some weak. It's like an albatross. It's like you are carrying some very beastly flesh around. Do you understand? It's like a man who has married the wrong person and has to take her everywhere. Everywhere you go. It's like this person is coming with me and introduce her. When you introduce her in English, then she speaks. She cannot speak English. She can't speak English well. So you see that this flesh is really a terrible partner. Unfortunately, it's fallen flesh. And fallen flesh is going to marry fallen flesh. That's why there's a beast. Yeah. So it's not. It's not natural to be strong. That is why. Listen, you know that camp we had the Atmosphere camp, it's one of the most important camps for you because it will help you to constantly create an atmosphere where it's a little easier, very strong. You feel like lying down and sleeping all day long. You feel like having sex or doing something bad. How many? Sometimes I feel like doing something risky. Yeah, because it gives you some adrenaline and then you sort of a little bit of danger, you know, a little bit of wow. And you are always tending to do something wrong. You get it? Yeah. So it's a fight. Hey, to be a strong Christian it's it's more natural if I meet you. My assumption is either you are. Not a Christian or a weak Christian until you prove me otherwise that you are strong. Some of you that are appointed as elders, I know that you are weak Christians. I know you think I don't know. I don't know why people think that we are fools. You know, people always have this feeling that you are a fool, not that you are weak, but but you see there are people that have appointed and when they realized that they were actually not bad people by even the fact that somebody has declared over you that you are this, they start to rise and do well. That's why it's not that you are strong, but you are. You are being given a chance sometimes to be strong. That is why it is a tragedy when you are appointed as a pastor or an elder, whether you stop rather coming for the things that are supposed to train you and strengthen you. Are you with me? So it's it's not easy to be strong. I've struggled all my life to be a strong Christian. I've struggled to pray. I can't. It's not easy for me to pray. So when I was before, I realized it's morning. How many have been praying? Then you woke up. Wait, but you didn't hear the question. I'm asking you something. You were praying and then you woke up. You didn't sleep or you woke up. Has it happened to you before? All my life I've struggled with that thing. Not that you pray, then you fall asleep, then you wake up, you pray, then you wake up and and it's it's morning or it's day or it's over the time you cannot pray again. How many have had a quiet time with God and you realise it's not a quality time? I mean, you've just done something and you just moved on. Raise up your hand If it has happened to you before, this is the struggle. How many of you have fasted and you hated fasting? Wow. One day, I mean, I was really upset with God about fasting. I said, Lord, it's not a normal thing for us to fast. I said, Lord, it's more normal for us to eat. So you've got to strive and fight, OK? Fight To be a strong Christian and to be spiritual. Their flesh will always keep you back. Yeah. That's why I married Ellie, because I could feel the fire was too much. I was in flames. You know, it's better to be humble or and accept that you are not strong. If those who say they are strong, you put on yourself just now. You see? Have you put on yourself before? One day I took a picture in my office. I didn't take a picture. I think it was my birthday. They took a picture and they took a picture of all the people that were working in that office with me. And I look at the picture today, so many of those people are not there anymore. So many people so recently they, they, you know, it's like a picture that they combined and then there's this type of combination picture. So then another person had another idea recently, that's some years after that picture to make another picture with the people that are in the office now. And somebody said don't make that picture because that picture, when you do it before you realize we are no more in the office because the first one that was made, so many people are out of it now. So they didn't like that picture. So that thing that we are doing, we don't like it because before you realise, you see that we are no more there. Yeah, yeah. Don't make that picture. You do before you realise we are not in the picture again, in the picture again. So when I say strive to enter, strive to be associated. You can be associated, but you will not be associated. Depends on how you are, why people don't realise that you are always being tested before you come to the next level. You are always being tested. Something is happening. You think that it's just, I mean people are angry, but it's actually your test or you think that something is your test. You are failing. You are failing practically and it's happening. It's not easy to be associated. I'm associated with Bishop Dan Kahulnam. It's not been easy to be associated with him. Yeah, I've had so many reasons not to be associated with him. It's been a fight. It's not easy to be associated with anybody. Yeah, it's been a fight to be associated. I'm not. I'm not unassociated. I can call him right at this very moment and just talk with him. So if you don't fight, you know, and that's why we, we define the word fighters to fight to means to strive vigorously for something. That's what the dictionary says. You get it? Are you there? So to fight vigorously, tell somebody I'm fighting vigorously. All right. So you, you really need to prosper. It's not easy. So that is why when you finish in what do you call it? School. You think you have. I finished. It's like I finished struggling. I finished suffering. I finished. Look, you are now going to start suffering. Yeah. Doctor Kumar, Is it true? Come, arrive. We'll come and cook rice with the same story as we were. Students come and cook rice with a shifter and then we will go to the students. They will go to the students who have been living better than us. So we have to go to their room and now collect some of the corn beef as usual. And then so it never changed. And so now, so now it's as though even even after we had paid, I mean, after we had been paid, the, the, the, the response, I mean, the things that we had to use the money for was like double or triple. So the money was never enough. The money was never enough. The subtle was deepening and deepening. And after now we are we are we? Are even though that. Fingers fine, even though that fingers fine. Well, you see, So what I'm saying is true. You're going to have to strive vigorously to prosper. Yeah. If you think it's just going to be dished out to you, you just say, oh, this is my certificate. I'm a doctor. I say. I say what? Sit down. Thank you. The next one you must fight to build a house. Must fight to build a house because to build a house is another fight which comes, which unfortunately is is thrown upon you. And if you do not fight that fight, what is going to happen is that you will work for years, but you will never have a house. Yeah. And even people who are earning a lot of money do not have houses. They earn a lot of money, but they do not have houses. And many of your parents don't have houses. They're renting houses. Yeah. Renting or standing up house? Yeah, So what I'm sharing with you, right? If, if you believe it and you understand it, you're going to tell yourself, right? You're going to tell yourself that I am going to strive to build a house in my youth. Now, people think you build houses when you are old. No, when you get older, you have to pay school fees, you see. And So what it is, is that it is actually those who build house, actually build them when they are young. Yeah. You actually build a house when you are young. Yeah. So because when a certain time comes, you find out that you don't have the money more because there's other things. So, you know, in in developed countries, they have two main things. It's like they have a mortgage and then they have college that they are paying for their children. And these are the two big things. If you've ever watched this film, there's a film that Denzel Washington was in a train. There was a train that was going somewhere fast. Have you seen that? I don't know. I don't know the name, but what I remember about that film was that at the end he was like a main guy in the train thing they were doing. And then it was like he had been bribed or something, or he had paid some money. And so when they when they when he started to confess, you know, he explained that, look, my child was going to college, so I took the money. Oh, I think he was in that job because he had lost his job because he had taken some money. And he explained that my child was going to consent. I took this money so that I could pay. College means university, you know, it's, it's a, it's and I, I, that it struck me that it's like that is one of the big things that people have to pay for. And in Ghana, as the university education worsens, the universities become more, more and more people want to go away. And they also become inexpensive too. And you may not get admission, you have to do fee paying and on and on and on and on and go. So something that never happened before has to happen now. So if you don't fight vigorously to build a house, you will never build a house. If you eat, you can eat away all your houses. Yeah, You see people, they don't have their house. They say we are going on a family holiday, They are going here, here, they are going to do this, they are going this. You see that way. I'm going, I'm going abroad, I'm going here, I'm going here. And a lot of people behave like that. If you do not fight to get a good partner, you will not have a good partner for your life. It's a struggle. It's one of the worst problems to have the problem of having to find somebody. That is why people who have beloved look a bit unsettled. It's like Talib. Yeah, you see that they really don't want to choose. They really struggle to choose somebody even to the point of like, look, fair woman. They just, they just, they just, they just say, look, I can't, I can't, I can't think anymore. Yeah. So it's it's not going to be easy. So don't be, don't be upset that you seem to be there seem to be a fight about it. That would be a fight. You know, all the bad and the wrong people. There's the most, most of the delusions. We have 3 categories of marriage, 1-2 and three and category one, category 2, category 3. Now pray that you get a category one marriage. Yeah. Whereas both two and three are not good options. Yeah, category one is the only option that you need, but a lot of people are struggling with two and some with three. You want to know what category 2 is? I I have no intention of telling you now. So strive to enter into a good relationship with a good person that will help you, that will be good for you, for ministry, for God, for your life. And above all, that will not change too much because when the Shanghai comes, you say, ah, tui Shanghai, tui Shanghai, boku Shanghai. Do you get it? So fight to get a good partner. What to whom it has been given? You see, if you have not the anointing for it, you cannot. But he said unto them, All men cannot receive the same, save they to whom it is given. In other words, all men cannot stay married. Yeah, as you stay, the only reason that you can put aside is for fornication. What about the person is very beastly? What about the person beats you? Yeah, What about the man beats you? What about if the man, the woman is wild animal, fighting, shouting, insulting? There are women like that, but Jesus said no. Still you have to stay. All men cannot easily fulfil this instruction of staying married and staying together forever, with The only exception of fornication. That one is very difficult and you cannot put her away and marry. No, no, no, no. And that's why they say if that is the case for a man, it's not a good thing. So brothers are in trouble because Jesus himself said it is for a few, some, those who can receive it, those who can receive it, those who cannot receive it. It's not easy.
