Welcome to track #3 of Mission South Africa. Let's just put up our hands and pray that the Lord will prepare our hearts for what? Just pray, Lord, prepare my hearts for what I have to receive today. Speak to me, may my life not be the same again. In Jesus name Amen. You may. Please be seated. Please settle down yesterday. Yesterday we were told that there should be no busy bodies and so all those standing, ushering, moving around, just settle down and there are people outside who should be inside and I'm sure they can hear me. Let's all settle down quickly. Hallelujah. Are you ready for what God has for us this morning? Right. I want us with a handclap to welcome our father, our pastor, Bishop Daggywood Milk. Yeah. All right. Let's pray. Father, thanks for this great, great privilege we have today. In Jesus name, Amen. You may be seated right. Turn with me to Matthew chapter 3, what it means to prepare for the Lord in South Africa. Amen. The person whom we we know is famous for preparing for the Lord is John the Baptist. Is it not true? Is he famous for that right? Is it possible to show a video in this room in the in the Bay? I want to know, oh the place is dark if it's too bright and the screen will work but we cannot see the positioning so that anybody work on the positioning whilst I'm preaching. OK, it's a small busy body ministry, but you will be over it very quickly, right? How many know that John the Baptist is famous for preparing the way of the Lord? OK, most people don't really understand what he did. You know, we just heard of him a little and then Jesus came on the scene. But the real preparation that John the Baptist did was to make the people a bit spiritual before Jesus came. You get it? Like that is why we have worship before preaching. You know, it helps you to be a little more spiritually oriented before the preaching comes on. It's just a little more spiritual. So when John the Baptist came on the scene, the way he prepared the people was to make them a little more spiritual. That they were rather the dull, dry. There was no chairs, there was nothing. There has been no profit for 400 years. You get what I mean? So a bit of preaching, a bit of revival, a bit of telling the people to change baptisms and a few meetings and they were already oriented spiritually. And then Jesus came on the scene with His parables and His stories, His miracles and everything. So that is how he prepared the way for the Lord. Now, if you are going to have a very strong time, you see that where there's confusion, you know, and then this shouting, let's say some people were fighting here, let's say there were two people fighting, someone slapped someone, another person, maybe a marital fight, you know, And then some other people came and those people from the family of this one came and they were fighting here. That's the atmosphere and I should come and preach. You hear what I'm saying? You realise that the place is not prepared, so you do something that makes the place a little more spiritual. And after the spiritual feeling has come, then we say, oh, can we welcome the preacher? Are you understanding? So we are going to look at the how the spiritualisation of the people that made it possible for Jesus to come on the scene. All right. Have you moved the screens? Oh, they are working on it. OK, When you are ready, you let me know. We we turn off the light, We we have to watch a few films. All right. So in those. Days, Matthew, chapter 3, verse one. John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea. Amen. So one of the ways in which the number one way, all right, is preaching. Preaching, OK, Preaching is a very, very important thing. Preaching, Amen. Preaching is a very, very, very important activity. So just preaching can spiritualise the atmosphere. So when you are a pastor and you become a pastor and you don't have a good worship leader, you can preach your way into an atmosphere. Yeah. So you don't have to be too worried if there's no good worship leader. The first part of the preaching was spiritualize the environment. Yeah. I've preached my way many times into an atmosphere because many times there's no worship leader. And Jesus didn't have worship leaders. I don't, you know, Jesus worship leader. I don't. Yeah. So you can preach your way into a good environment and now when you are becoming somewhere in the house, unspiritual, carnal and beastly, put on preaching and it will help you to be spiritual. And you, you feel spiritual very quickly. All right. So preaching is the very, very important activity that John the Baptist came doing, which made the whole environment change. So I want you to really believe in preaching. Then the second thing about preaching is that preaching affects the preacher more than those who are being preached to. You. See, if any of you were supposed to preach this morning, you would have woken up earlier than you woke up. Yeah, you would have been into prayers. You'd have been calling on God. You'd have been waiting on God rather than just, I mean, rushing in here, dry and completely empty. So if I had made you the preacher, I would have made you spiritual by making you the preacher. Oh yeah, I'd have made you spiritual by making you the preacher. If you want somebody to backslide and he is a preacher, tell make him stop preaching and you will be surprised how he would change. So those of you. Who? Maybe our lay pastors or our pastors and have retired from preaching for one reason or another. Circumstances, issues. Be it known unto you that you have taken away from your life a very important spiritualising factor of your life. If you take wives, sometimes wives can preach as well as the husbands, sometimes better. And then because of having a baby, having children, they are made to stop preaching or they think that preaching is over. It rarely effects them. I like it when my wife preaches. Oh yeah, because it makes her spiritual. And when you are spiritual, you are more humble. And when you are more humble, you are more submissive. Yeah, so those of you who have taken away preaching from your wives. You have taken away something that spiritualises the person. Yeah. I'm telling you that's why John the Baptist came preaching his preaches spiritualize the people for preaching an an atmosphere of. Preaching is very different from an atmosphere of radio listening to the radio, just radio talking very different. And you? Yourself preaching makes you far more spiritual, so all of you who have taken you have retired from preaching. You have retired far too early and I'm reappointing you as a preacher. Somebody like Della, I didn't even know her husband. I didn't even know her husband in the days when she was an elder. Stand up. Why? Where's the weather? Where's the water? Fire. OK. Are you happy? You are. Excited. OK, All right now. She I did not even know her husband. Who is the the pastor of the church? I knew her. I knew her as a commander and a preacher. Yeah, but over the last few years, I don't know her as a preacher. Yeah, I know her as a pastor's wife and a mother. That's what I know from my point, from where I I sit and your, your, your, your point of view. Depends on your viewpoint. That's my viewing position. Are you there? Yeah, so. But you see. You have to, you have to, you don't have to deprive yourself of a very, very important activity. It's very important. So there there are more opportunities. And we have to create the opportunities. And so all of us here, I tell you, if you are going to preach you, you, you, you will do Bible study. You will do Bible study when you are preaching and there is no scripture. You are supposed to find the Scripture. Some people do. Not read their Bibles unless they are going to preach. It's true. One day a certain man was going to divorce his wife and the two of them were fighting to see whether the children will go follow the husband or wife. Divorce, you know, is one of the most divisive things you can ever have. You know, because a lot of people have to take sides. They are forced to take sides. You have you have to decide whether you belong to the wife's side or the husband's side, including the children and the parents are all watching to see who believes that I'm right. This is an unfortunate problem I hear. When Prince Charles was divorcing Princess Diana, the, the high society in, in, in England was divided. Half of them thought that Prince Charles was just in love with somebody else apart from his wife. And half of them thought that Princess Diana was crazy, that she was mentally unstable and she was just causing just causing a lot of problems. So they were divided, everybody was divided. So anyway, this family was also divided. So they were trying to decide on which side was to follow. So one of the children made a comment and was explaining that the father was What she was saying was that the father is a spiritual person, but the mother is not a spiritual person, even though, even though, even though they were both ministers of the gospel. And the point that she used to explain that my mother is not spiritual is that my mother does not read the Bible unless she's going to preach. Are you listening to me? You see, I'm explaining to you that preaching makes you have to do certain things and that you should not read your Bible only when you are going to preach. But should in case. Should in case you are. So. Unspiritual that you don't read your Bible naturally, at least if you are going to preach, you will see that you have to check, and the checking forces you to open that book and at least to pray. Blessed bless. Amen. Before you go. So preaching is something that in this camp meeting I want you to value. Preaching is a very important thing. You see, I have watched people step back from preaching. A step back from the ministry saying that, oh, you know, it's not everybody who should preach and it's not everybody who should whatever and watch them backslide from God. So don't, don't think that preaching, preaching is not from the perfect to the perfect. It's not perfection that makes you qualified to preach. Amen. It's not perfection that makes you qualified to preach. Preaching is done by an imperfect person to other imperfect people. That is why a preacher must be humble when you are. Proclaiming what you are. Proclaiming you have to proclaim it in humility, knowing that the person you are correcting in one way or another, you have the same problem. Yeah, so, so pride is not tolerated at all in the ministry because there's no reason for your pride. There's nothing that makes anybody a good. Person in that sense, Hallelujah. Yeah. So I want us to really value preaching like the the activity of preaching. And anything that is trying to take you away from preaching is an evil thing. Preaching is the method by which people become spiritual. Both the hearers and the person preaching are spiritualised by preaching. The the very act of salvation comes through. Preaching because the Bible says that God has chosen that by the foolishness of. Preaching men should be saved. Why don't we check that scripture Romans 1? Is your projector man working or you don't have a projector man? Romans chapter 1 verse what 21 Sorry 1st Corinthians 1. 1st Corinthians 1 21. Have you found it? First Corinthians 1. How many of you have iPads or something like an iPad? Raise your hand. How many do not receive it? Receive it in Jesus name. Father, I thank you for a digitalization of the church in Jesus name. Amen. Shortly after this camp it will, it will arrive in your life not to watch pornography, to read your Bible, and to do spiritual things. Amen. Now listen. Notice Romans First Corinthians chapter 1. For after that in the wisdom of God, the world by wisdom knew not God. It please God that by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe Amen. You see it. May God in his wisdom has chosen a method of spiritualising this world. And the third step to spiritualising the world is salvation. And the way for salvation to come is by preaching. So spiritualisation starts with preaching. That is what went on. The Baptist came trying to spiritualise the environment to make it conducive for Christ to come and also minister. He kept preaching because salvation is the first step to. Speak. You cannot say you are spiritual if you are not saved. Unbelievers are unspiritual because they are not saved. So once you are spiritual, once you are saved, you start on your journey of spiritualization. Now God was wise. God is God is wise because. He chose that by wisdom, men are not to be saved by wisdom. If it was by wisdom, you know a lot of us will be out even even in. The church, we have two types of Christians. The Christians who go a lot by feeling we are blessed. We just feel it's wonderful. We want to dance, we want to sing, we want a feeling. It's more than 70% of the of the churches like that. More than 70% of the churches, more people are like that. So a lot of preachers don't make sense logically and people who sometimes make sense logically, a lot of people don't even appreciate what they are saying. So if you watch preaching, you see that you don't understand a lot of preaching. That's what what they are saying. But there are people there, people come and listen and they are bled self. It's too powerful. It's too powerful, too powerful. Wow, are you listening? Is it true or it's not true? Yeah. Then a smaller percentage of Christians go by logic and wisdom. You know, Claire, this is Claire. This leads to this, This leads to this, this leads to that. Even pastors are like that. They don't want such things. We don't want to read math or understand or analyse. You get it? So. And black people, we are more that way, not feeling and just flows. The flow is flows. Flow is flowing. Let's just flow. Don't think too much, just flow. It's working, it's working, it's powerful. There's a good flow and there's a good feeling. Not too much thinking, analysis and so on. You understand? So if if, if salvation was going to come by wisdom, more than 70% of us would be. Cut out because we are also creatures of feeling. And, and, and white people, they don't seem to have much feelings, so much feeling. They are more stiff. And you know, if at least in Africa and Ghana, I don't know about here, but if somebody dies, there's feeling in the funeral. They take time to do everything and so on. You know, I don't know about here, but in Europe, if you die, you know, depends on when you die. You can choose whenever you time you die. You know, within a. Day or two and you are gone. I mean, it's it's it's over. Yeah. When my my, my grand, my grand, my grandfather died. I didn't have any time for my mother to go to to get it. This is very finished. I mean, I did. I mean, when they say this is a job that is a is in the jar, finish first over. You see the people at the funeral. Six people have come in the funeral. That's all. Yeah. But not, not not in Ghana. If you want to have a good funeral, die in Ghana or come to Ghana or ask a Ghanaian to come and do it for you. We are specialists of funeral. Yeah. No African country can do funeral better than Ghana. Yeah, it's our special area. We have coffins like Mercedes-Benz coffins, everything. We have. So salvation cannot be by wisdom. Salvation cannot be by money if it's by money. Many of us are out. Yeah, many of us are. Africa will be our, this will be our, this will be our plenty. So God is wise and he chose a method. It's actually, it's actually that's something that God thought about and decided the method by which he will save people. And he chose preaching. So God in his wisdom knew that people cannot be saved. By. Wisdom by money or by connection or by who you know. So he chose a method that works in Alaska, it works in South Africa, it works in West Africa, it works in Kenya, it works in India, it works in China, it works in South America. It works for white, it works for black, it works for India, it works for Kaleb. It works in there is nowhere, whether they have money or they don't have, whether there was a war, there was no war. Whatever situation, it works and it's called preaching preaching. So preaching is a very powerful thing that God has actually chosen and it is the conduit for salvation and spiritualisation. Of the community, yeah. So when the preparation is being made, preparing for God, preparing for Jesus to return, preparing to meet Him, it is through preaching. I see some people standing outside, coming. What are you standing outside for? I know you are late. You think I don't? Know that you are late. I see you come in and find somewhere to sit. There are some seats in the front here, all the back here, all the front here. Walk along the aisle. The faster you do it. Are you there? OK, back to Matthew, Chapter 3. Now, are you listening? Are you listening? Yeah. So take note of this, John, prepare for the Lord. And how we prepare for the Lord is to just watch John the Baptist preparing for the Lord. The Lord was about to come a few weeks later, and he prepared for the Lord by coming around and preaching generally creating a spiritual consciousness, spiritual atmosphere. So the first thing he did was #1 is preaching. So that is 1. So preaching. And I'm just giving you a couple of points about why preaching is important and you should all not stop preaching. Don't stop preaching. Don't allow marriage to silence you. Amen. Preach, but be humble. Amen. Now the next thing is, is the topic that is preach effects the outcome of the preaching, The the, the, the effect of the preaching? Is it because you can preach OK, different things and it has different effects. So as I'm here, I'm here preaching something in particular, all right. Are you listening? Are you listening to me? And what we are preaching in particular has a particular outcome. So it is not just any preaching that changes people if you look. When I was coming, I saw many fields. But sometimes you see right in the middle of a field section and you have some particular plants growing there, and you realize that on that little section they planted certain things. So the ground gives out something that corresponds to what was put into it. So when you do not have certain things coming out of your congregation, it is because certain things have not been put into it. You understand? So it is. No. Surprise to a farmer. That this section is yielding. Orange trees it's not. Most farmers are not surprised because it should never surprise you at what comes out of the ground When you planted pineapples. Why are you expecting corn? Why are you expecting oranges when you planted mangoes? So John the Baptist didn't just come preaching, but we are given. His. Topic He said preaching repent for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand. So he came preaching about repentance and about the Kingdom of God, about God. Now recently somebody was advertising A programme, A Man of God. He said come and listen to the man of God who has the key to making you rich. Yeah, there's a billboard like that right now that I'm talking about right now. Come and listen to the man who can make you rich, a great man of God, a great pastor who can make you rich with money. Now, as we can see, there are different things. That are being preached. So the topic that you preach a pastor, the topic that you preach is very important. You know, pastors can't, you can't just preach what you want. When you come back from the preaching, you should ask God whether you have preached what he wanted you to preach about. You cannot. Just say I mean anything. Preaching is not just you. Just come and open the Bible and start talking. And you also cannot just listen to any preaching, just as you don't walk by and eat out of the garbage can and eat any rubbish. On the road. You don't also listen to anything. It's not every TV programme that you must watch, or every tape you must buy, or every kind of preaching, because you must know that it will have an effect on you. One guy, I asked him, you know, I call on myself because everybody should have a Macane. All students should have a Macane. Everybody here should have a Macane. How many have a Macane? How many don't have a Macane? You don't have a Macane. Do you have a iPhone or what? To download it on iPad. That's why you need to get all that, so that you can download. I'll download for you free at the camp. Yeah, but it's not it's not a it's not a business. What do you have it? So remind me, I'm going to get all I will let them download on the Internet free. I will call them and tell them free. If anybody who wants my can I just download it free of charge? Now. Just at the camp. After the camp. It's no, no more available. Are you there? Yeah, what was I saying? I was telling this brother, I was asking why don't you have a Macanet? He said, oh, I don't want to listen to the Macanet. I said why? He said, oh, I've listened to it before and I'm doing architecture in the university. And I realised that if I listen to that thing, I cannot do my profession what I want to do. So I don't want, I don't want to listen to it. It's OK. I mean, it's the first person I've ever heard telling me something like that is that I know that if I listen to that thing, I will change. I can, I'll give my, my life to the ministry. So I don't want to listen to it. I know his name. I remember the place I was sitting, right where I was sitting. That is the same mind you should have about every other preaching. You know that when I listen to this, it will have an effect on me. When I listen to this, this thing, it will have this effect on me. What you listen to and what preaching you allow to enter you has an effect on you. So preachers cannot just preach anything. If you preach money, prosperity, your church will prosper and your church will get bigger when you preach about money. Why? Because most Christians are carnal, and so they respond to carnal power. Yeah, they love it, but most Christians are carnal. You will have a bigger church if you preach about success and you present success in life. You know, I heard somebody said on Easter time, you said that Jesus came to die for us, for you, so that you will never be a you will never. Lose again in this life? Yeah, that Jesus came to die for you so that you never be a loser anymore. Wow, which which which? Is this somehow true? But it's not really. True, but you see the way it is presented, it's like Christianity makes you never a loser. It's like you'll never be a loser. Which? Most. Canal people are attracted and all of you are all attracted to such things. Yeah, so Jesus Christ came so that you never lose again. And when you hear that, you say, this is me. I'll never lose again. What a word. And, and, and you see, you have a lot of people coming. So when you depend on what you preach, you know more and more people flock to listen. They want it when it has to do with marriage, prosperity, healing, people will come to listen. More and more people will come to listen. But you are not going to get anybody to ever become a pastor by preaching about money because that doesn't make people want to become ministers. Becoming a minister of the gospel is different from becoming rich. Yeah. They're not going to get many people to do that. You get many people to say, yeah, yeah. Well, that is why you have large churches. Like I was telling you, South Africa, you had large churches. We have not seen even One South Africa exported to Nigeria or to Ghana or to Gambia. Go to Gambia, go to Guinea, 99%, Islam 99%. All of these are Senegal days. We don't see any church there. You drive and drive for hours. I drive from Ghana to everywhere. I like driving because I can see the reality. There's no church. There's no Christianity. Completely, completely sold out. Yeah, we are sitting in our towns ability. When you come to the capitals, you see big churches full of prosperity oriented Christians. Everybody is receiving prosperity and receiving a new car. Yeah. And nobody cares about this. Whatever. So gradually we have been compressed into the capital city and they are taking over and it's just left with a small group. But the church is big. You see what church? You see it on television. You think that Christianity is affected everywhere? Look, step out. Just one step out. And just go round, you see there's there's nothing left. And it is from this. Kind of preaching, because this kind of preaching, it is not just preaching, but what is preached affect what comes out. So the church is actually reducing and dying. Christianity is not the fastest growing religion. It's one of the slowest growing within all, declining in fact, England. Is called the post Christian era. It's in the post Christian nation. It's not a Christian nation. Even recently the Prime Minister said he was a Christian nation and they took him on. Seriously, this. And people say it's not a Christian, it's a false Christian nation. We are no more Christians. Yeah. So it is not just preaching that matters. So everybody must be concerned when you are going to preach, What am I going to preach you? You have to know what you are going to preach. You can't just preach anything. So as I am here, I am here. To preach to you, prepare. For God prepare. For the Lord prepare to for Jesus to come and prepare by preparing the same way that John the Baptist Jesus said there was no greater person. And he came and the greatness of John the Baptist is connected to the fact that he was preaching and the. Topics he was preaching, yeah, the topics he was preaching make him a great person, all right. And compare with us and the kind of topics that we are preaching today. Compare with the church, what the church is preaching and, and, and because we are carnal, we are impressed by carnal power, the power of a car, the power of money, the power of wealth and the the the power that it seems to give a person the greatness it seems to give to a human being, his wealth, their parents, their outward physical human greatness makes us respond and all people respond to that. That is why it didn't when people it didn't openly steal money and they are rich people still respect. Them. Oh, hello, Sir. You've got calm down, whatever, you all know that you've stolen the money, but in fact, there's I mean the fact that you were able to steal it and challenge you how you are. I mean, you stolen, you're survived, man. It's just how to steal them, not to be. Caught true. So the topic is important and the topic was repent. Repent of change. Most Christians are not changing. Most Christians are not changing. You see, Christianity can change you. Yeah, even if it's slow, it can change you. Christianity can change you. And so he came, preaching change, Change. Yeah. So South Africa there. Needs to be change. So I've also come to preach change. That is what I was trying to help you to understand how you are like. That's what I'm telling you how you are so that you can change from that, that you, you will not find a South African, black, white. Yellow, Red, Indian, whatever color you have, you will not find a South Africa in in Gambia in Gambia except to bring Shop Right or some other South African business there. Yeah, even that is recent. Even the Business 1 is recent. But now it's not only South Africa, China and all countries are looking to Africa for outlets. And when you have a factory and you are making cars or making, you need more places to sell to. So there must be a change, there must be a reorientation and that's why I'm saying change must come, otherwise you are not ready for the law and mission. South Africa cannot come on if there is no change in you. Yeah, there must be a change. There must be a change. And that is why yesterday I did an after. Call. Inviting you to come because I want to invite you to come to Ghana, not because Ghana has anything. Ghana has not anything to offer you, but to change your orientation from being secluded and inward looking and myopic. Yeah, to change that thing. And even for your own country to care about all people. No, you don't care. You are just like the politicians. You don't care for leaving the people in their poverty and in difficulty. Yeah, isn't the apartheid is? Gone. What has changed and what is changing? Look at your your currency. This is getting spot right. You wait till you get to Zimbabwe level, you will see management. The dollar and the pound since it was created is the same over 100 years. It has not transmitted by point Something, something percent. It's just as it. Was. Ours, it was 1 to 4 is now 1 to 10 and going. Anytime you see that it wants to cross 10, it wants to become a lot. Your runs and you will not know when you don't go outside. You don't know the effect, but you don't know. Gradually things are changing in the country. Gradually things are changing. Yeah. So there must be a change in you. There must be a change in your orientation and the spiritual emptiness. You know, I see people giving me clock for me when somebody do see me the clock. They they want to treat me like a celebrity, but I'm not a celebrity. They want to take pictures, I see, and they want to take pictures and do kind of all these type of things. If I was even allowed, I would be signing autographs. But you see there is a difference between that and changing. I started change. The fact that you even appreciate my presence is different from whether you change or you don't change or you can appreciate that I'm here, but you won't change. Then nothing will change about you. Oh yeah, I've said it. I know what I'm talking about. True or not true? I said true or not true true. Yeah, but no change, No change when some of us have been trained as pastors, some have been trained as shepherds so that we will be teaching you to do the work. But you see, the Bible says if any man come after me and does not take up his cross and deny himself, not the devil, Forget about the devil you know, don't think about the devil yourself. How you are, how you are, how you are how you are. If you don't say no to yourself, you cannot be. A disciple of Jesus Christ. The first problem and the first person to say no to is yourself, how you are. And you see that change rarely comes true. That is why even marriage counsellors get tired of doing marriage counselling because whatever we say, do this, this, this the. Whole. There is no change. You advise them, you talk, you explain. You explain this, explain that. Explain this. Explain the hell change. You explain. You are destroying yourself. You are destroying your home. You are destroying your marriage. There will be no happiness in your life. You have to respond. You have to change. You have to modify. You can't be Moody, You can't just be quiet and just shut off. You just behave in a certain way. You have to change. You can't be a husband. And not be provided. Allow your wife to be a man woman and you say you are a man and you are just there. They look after like a baby and you expect to be respected and your wife will stand into a monster man, woman, a monster man, woman Rambo type of Terminator, but you will not change. They will talk and talk and talk. No change, no change. There will be no modification, no shifting from your stance and, and, and that is what is actually preventing us from because there is, it's not like there is something new to say or something special to say or some special revelation to come up from any angle. That is the whether there will be a change, whether you will shift and the 1st. Person to say no to. It's yourself. Look, I've been a pastor for 25 years. I must have. Heard a lot of stories. And I have. Heard a lot of. Things. Oh yeah, and I would say that to say a common thread that runs through is that people are don't change. So you you even stop preaching. But Solomon said. Because the preacher was wise, he continued to teach. Only because he was wise, he continued to preach. What is that? He's doing his work, but not because the people are changing. Yeah. Because he is wise. Because I'm wise. I will continue preaching, but not that the people are changing very tight. You will not change give offering. You will not change South Africa. You give very little money. Oh yeah, very little. Your, your giving is very small. It is one of the, it's one of it's one of the things that characterize about South. Africa. Yeah. One day, a man of God, you know, American man of God, he came. He came to visit us in Ghana, a very famous man of God with a very big name. And I was, I was with him for some hours and he was telling me, he said, you know, in Africa. He said it is when I came to your church that I have even been honoured in a certain way, he said. All through Africa where I have preached in the image, including South Africa and he had been in big churches in South Africa all round, he said. Oh, they have never paid. For what is either they've never paid for my ticket before, they've never paid certain or if he's given a certain kind of honourarium or whatever he said he put in South Africa, he had been to certain huge. Churches in South Africa. This is a characteristic. Yeah, it's a characteristic I thought. A good thing because you have to step out. Of here and see the other world. Then you see that you are so blessed. That's why I, I always take people out and say come, you know, come not for a visitor to, to live. When you are a visitor, everything is presented. And I see in Ghana, we will give you our glass. Our best glass and best plate. That is a culture. When a visitor comes you you go and take the best. Caps. I don't know if you have that culture in South Africa. You do that here as well. Yeah. They give you the best place. So you you see the best things, but not the real things. You see the best thing, but not the real things. Yeah, so when I when I got married, it was one of my things with my wife. I said no, bring the best plate for me. I'm the main person in this house. Bring the best plate. I want to use the best cup and the best glass in the name of Jesus. Bring it out-of-the-box. Bring it out of the cupboard and put it on the table. I'll never drink from a inferior second hand glass again in the name of Jesus. I never accept to treat the visitors, especially when I'm there and I'm the main person in the house. Listen. Change. Take up your cross and deny yourself how you are, how South African you are. Say no to it and become international. I prefer you to be international than to be South African. Look, all of us where we come from have setting features. That is why when somebody I came to South Africa, they told me so you are northern. I said why are northern? I say why are we? How do we become Northern Soul? You are not from Ghana, you are northern. I said how could that be? But because they are S, we are north, they say wow we are northern. Is that what you call us? And they have things about us. So you wouldn't like me if I present Ghanaianism on you or Swissism on you. And I will also enjoy your S Africanism. No one enjoys too much of where you are from. Where you are from should reduce a bit and try to be a more broad based international kind of person. Yeah, you cannot reach many people when you are too much of where you are from, because where you are from is not the best place. It's not the only place. There are many places. Everybody is a lot of laws at where he came from. Everybody is a king of kings in his house. Everybody's house is a great place, so you cannot make where you are. How where you are from is like is the main food is What is that? Food. Pap and whatever, there are other other foods apart from PAP. I don't put any other food apart from PAP. You are too South African. I cannot pay. You cannot live without PAP. A stupid sit down, sit down, sit down cannot be you cannot live without pap and I need my pap otherwise I would die. PAP or suicide. No, there must be a change. Some of us pastors who have started churches, it's not that the church. Cannot work a. Church. Depends on the leader you see. If you have a church and the church is not working, it's not that the things that you've been taught are not working on you, you are not working. Something is wrong with you and usually something about you has to change. That's so. And that's if it doesn't change, no matter what, you are taught principles, you are taught whatever, you will be sitting there. And so the church is not working. The people here are like this. So there's nothing wrong with the people anywhere. As soon as you start to think that people are some way or the people are a certain way than you, there's something wrong with you. Yeah, That's why people who divorce often divorce again and then they divorce again and they divorce again. Because when you want to divorce, you must look at yourself very carefully, you know, because often, not always, not always, but many times, there's something wrong with you also. Yeah. So by the time you've made a change and you didn't even check that thing, the next person is going to experience that same difficulty with you. When the person is with you, the person will have the same challenge. So you end up divorcing again, because the first person you must check is yourself, you see? So sometimes there's nothing wrong that people divorce, but sometimes there's something wrong with you, not with the person. And the person's bad behaviour is the response to your somewhereness. It's like living with a madman. If you live with a madman, you know. People may say that you are quiet, but the person is mad. Do you understand what you are thinking is a bad because you are staying in your room a lot because the person is mad. You are also you lock your room in the night. Yes, because the person is mad. So all these strange behaviours, it's not because you like to lock your door. Yeah, one of my church. Members she was working at the mental hospital and Hospital for mad people one one of the ladies. Suddenly we don't know what came up over her. She attacked A fellow patient and killed her. Yeah. And then she attacked another person in the same incident and removed the eyes. Of the of the of the fellow so. If you have married this person, say in the evening you have locked your door or when you are there as you are quiet, it is because you are afraid. You understand what I'm saying. You are responding to a problem that you've seen that is really there. So sometimes your wife's bad behaviour or your husband's bad behaviour is a response to your madness or something that is not good about you. So a a good an originally good person is behaviour has been modified by as as a response to how you how something you have caused him to become. He was never quiet. He never used to lock his room. He never used to be to to just stay stay there doing certain things. But how you have he has seen you have attacked this to have removed somebody's eyes. Hey, what about if my eyes are also removed? He's not sleeping in the bed with you. Like he's afraid before he wakes up. When he opens his eye, he cannot see. Yeah. So he's not about sleeping with you. He's not sleeping with you. Not that you see. And you are complaining that he's not much sleeping with you. He's not much sleeping with you because he's afraid of you. So even when he's this, he's not attracted. He gives you as a point of danger and the source of murder and source of killing. So when he says he doesn't have erection his father looking for his father looking for security went out. Where is the phone 999 Let me see if I can call the police. I have to check whether everything is not is not excited to have erection when he. Sees you. You are wondering why he's not coming to you as he used to come. The erections are gone. He's now concerned about security. Yeah, yeah. And then I used. To do all those things, it is out of it is out of check. Checking himself, securing himself, almost stuff like that from you. Securing himself from you? Yeah, You are checking the person's phone all the time to see who the person called. He never used to have a passcode on. He has to put the passcode on because he doesn't know why you are checking the phone. It's like you are in the house. With a hunter, you are in the house. With a predator, you are in the house. With a lion, you are in the house with a white animal. That he was praying was moving happily. Right now they challenge security is the main thing with your sharp tan. You think that from the sharp? Tan, when he pointed the man, he became nothing. From your rudeness he says that he has become fired. The thing cannot be, it cannot buy. It can only be used for we we. Powers are finished. Sit down. Hey. All right, so listen, we need change. Change. Oh. Those of you who think the church is not working, it cannot work, you have to change. Yeah, You know, in every country we have tried, they like themselves so. Much that they they don't like others or others feel that they are not part of them. And I'm sure you have some here. You have to grow out of that other. Your church may not grow beyond that. That tribe to be limited to that group to be limited to that Group A lot. Of men don't have a drive, you don't have a drive. That you are a pastor. You have no, I mean drive to to be a good pastor, you need a drive. You need to be a mover, you need energy. War takes place in an atmosphere of energy and movement. So when you sit down poorly, it's like, oh, whatever will be will be, huh? Whatever will happen will happen. Then whatever will happen, happens, which is that the check doesn't grow. It happens. So a lot of us have that attitude and it is, it is your nature. It is also God-given. It's God-given because phlegmatism is God created. Where people are cool and they are just there. It's also, you know, it's repeated by God. It's one of the temperaments. Without it, the world cannot stay. I mean, if we are not phlegmatic and we were reacting to everything it should be. Terrible. So we need people who are very cool. So whatever you do, they say oh wait in manusi before I can, I can go through. This. I can, I can survive, and you need phlegmatism to be a good. Pastor to care for people who don't change, who never, I mean they don't want to respond. Whatever you say, you also you also you are also not moved. I will stay with you forever. I will stay what did Mano said before. I can stay here with you and I will be here. I will look after you as you are, even though you. Don't change. It's a characteristic that you. Need to be a good pastor, Yeah, but it is not a good characteristic to start a church. Or to if we want to move the church to the next level. Phagmatism doesn't help you. It helps you to stay at where you have reached and the. People will not change. There will be somewhere you can just be there and then those people are. But if you are to move to the next level, oh brother. And when you are starting a church, you need a lot of a lot of drive. So all the. Missionaries who have done well, they have a good drive, balanced with other things. But there's a drive, there's some strength, there's some. We have to go now, There's challenge. This is what is needed. It's possible. Let us move now, Let us do it now. Without that, you cannot build, you cannot do much. You can only be watching and say, hey, your church is big. That's why our people there, they don't like church. It's not that they don't like church, They like church. Look at, look at South Africa, look at you, look at you, look at where you are, where you come. You have come all the way to this corner to have a camp. I mean, you can make people do whatever you want them to do if you are a leader. Yeah, and you see the very people you say they don't. Like. Our people don't like if you don't, do they? They, our people like you see our people when you hear that, our people, when you hear that word, our people. Our people say our church is not like your church. Our church is even from your church. That's how people, they are lazy. That's how people, they don't like moving. That's how people, you know, they like, they are always working. Our people, our people work. Oh, our people don't work, isn't it? That's how you can come on Wednesday, isn't it? Our people work. Our people don't work. Our people work. Stop that nonsense. Stop. Stop that, stop that, stop that. Stop that useless talking. It is not true. Yeah, you need strength. Even women, sometimes you have a wife who looks unruly, but she's unruly because the husband has not taken his stand. Yeah, he's not taking his stand and saying no, don't cross here. If you cross here, you are out. I said don't cross here. You cross here, you are out. Hey, that is why some of the wives do whatever they want to do, because their husband will allow anything. And now every wife knows what a husband will allow after staying with somebody for some time. They know he doesn't. Oh, don't worry about him. I can. I'll just, oh, I'll take care of him. I'll sort him out. Don't worry. Oh, he is not a he's not because they know that you, you, they can walk over you. They know that. You can walk over you. Yeah. So they do whatever they want and because their husband doesn't take a head. And when you are like that, you can't rule a church too. But church people all, they all want to be in some way, you know, So like they're teaching, like loyalty and so on. It fights. It fights disorderly around Goose and people who want to. People look at them and say it's too harsh, It's not too harsh, it's necessary. And so that when you have to. Behave in a certain way in the house so that your wife will line up. You you, somebody say that it is harsh. It is. No, it's not. Harsh. It's not harsh. It is what she needs. She needs it. She even likes it. He wants somebody who is strong. She likes it. She wants some help. Look, when talk to women who are married to softies, talk to women who are my husband who doesn't like, you know, whatever you want. He doesn't want any particular. Food. He doesn't want any particular hairstyle. He doesn't want any particular dress. He doesn't. Anything is OK, you see that the the press is driving them. Crazy. How come you don't like anything? You don't want anything. Everything is OK. Say something. I don't mind if you go out. I don't mind if you come. I don't mind if you work here. I don't mind if you don't work here. I don't, No. No, no, no, for me, I'm not like that. You cannot do. You cannot do that. You cannot. You cannot work anywhere. When my wife was working as a lawyer, I wanted her to work in the ministry. I said work in the church, come and work in, come and work for God. Don't just be out there first. We are all working all other process. I see them in the ministry. I want you to also be with me working. I said you are coming to work in the chair. Whatever. I said OK, OK, no problem. So one day she was going to work and she had an accident after they asked herself I'm coming to work for herself. OK, come. Hey, OK. Not one day I was there. My wife went and did a sexy hairstyle. Her head looked like a motorway. I said no, no, no. No, no, no, I don't like this hairstyle. I cannot accept this hairstyle. Change that hairstyle. Never do that hairstyle again. I don't like it. Hey, change it. And she said since that day, I've never seen that hairstyle again. Yeah, I said. I don't appreciate it. The next certain food, you accept any food. I don't accept any food. I said there is something wrong with this food. I don't like it like this. I like it like this, I like this. But some of you, you are like a rubbish can. Anything you just swallow it once there is once it is something you do. Whether there is salt, there is no pepper, there is no salt, there is nothing. It is like dog food, but you are eating it. Are you a scavenger? Are you a scavenger eating and swallowing everything? Sit down. The wife says she has made soup. Soup is that. Soup, hey. Or is it dog food by you, You just accept everything And when you become a pastor, this one says don't come into chair. This one doesn't come. No, a pastor. Look, when I started it, I remember I was when I'll go to your house, say don't come to just I'll be there and I'll come there. Sir, I'm waiting for you change. Have your path, have your path. I'm waiting. I'll sit down. I'll wait in and sit in for you to pass. I am your thing. And we are going to church. I'm taking you to church. I'll accept it. And if you you have no drive, you have no strength. Everybody does what he wants. That's what your church cannot wear. You are just like a woman, not just a woman. And the women are like men. Yeah, and you will not allow them to do what they have to do. Not just that. Yeah. You see, our members, they are not getting married. You, you have to start. OK. My conscious sister. Come, come, come. Come. What? What do you What? What do you like? What do you need? They are being a church. I'm not getting by. Come. I'll help you. Come, what about this brother? What about this one? Hey, you sit down and say nobody is getting married. No one is. If there's no wedding in the church, the church cannot work. There must be weddings. Party, wedding parties, wedding dinner. You can sit down and say there are no, there are not. My type is not in the church. You cannot accept my type is not in the church. Find a type for her. Sit down, please sit down. But you see you are just, you are just there. Everything is happening, spoiling around. You. The lights are going off. You will not change above the water has been disconnected. You will not go and reconnect it. I mean since things are happening you are judged like a Down syndrome pasta. Down syndrome, besides you. I get there. Nothing moves you. It's called Pachulo. You are down. Do you have Down syndrome in South Africa? Do you know what is Down syndrome? What do they call it? Down syndrome, you know, they are, they are, they are like mentally down. They are mentally down and they are always smiling. They like music and they are not harmful. They are harmless. They are harmless, but they are just not clever or they don't understand so much. I mean, it's just a different syndrome. Yeah. And and they are just there and it's like they are happy and and some of you pastors, you are like spiritually down. Syndrome, yeah. You are just OK with everything. Well, one day during, you know, Ghana, we have had revolutions, you have apartheid, we have had revolution and good itas. But in in a town where my my wife comes from, there was this big when they had the revolution, the soldiers took over and soldiers were moving all over there. There was this big company, I think the Lebanese company, timber company, and they had, you know, they knew that the soldiers were going to come there to for investigation and harassment and all that. So amongst the brothers, they had a brother who had Down syndrome. Yeah, they had one of their brothers had Down syndrome. So they decided to make him the managing director of the company. So the media managing director gave him a suit and a tie and everything to sit there. So when the soldiers came, he just, he didn't understand. What was happening? Everything they asked, you said he was just happy with that. You start singing for them. A true story. He did it because nothing moves him. He's not afraid of anything. He's not affected by anything. And you are a pastor for a leader in the church. You have been sent to start a church in Johannesburg area. You sit down for the church to be closed down. You sit down for the church to finish. The matters are finishing before your very eyes. And you say, oh, the people are not coming. They're not coming anymore. You are a Down syndrome pastor. Go to their houses, wait for them. They are not marrying organised. When people see that there is marriage, they like coming to church. Hey, they will like it. One of my father here's one of our biggest churches. One of the sisters, she was not getting married. Come. You are not getting married. It's because you are always wearing trousers. Yeah, they don't know where dress. Come. They said follow me. And he took her to the mall and said buy this one. One he bought for her. Five dresses. Yeah. Wear. It. Wear, wear, wear not coming to church wear, wear dress. Don't wear trousers. I'm not a boy. Wear trousers like. You know, you look, you know, a bit fancy. Yeah. Wow, that's a pasta. That's a pasta. And she came to church and. She was there when suddenly her brother came and said. I like this particular system. You see, what I'm saying is that you are sitting down. The church is getting finished right before your eyes. There are people who not sit down and allow it to happen. But because of your flagmatic attitude as a leader, which is seen in every area of your life, is seen in marriage, is seen in business, is the exact people are. Poor also financially they are poor and secular where they are usually poor people. They have nothing and they don't mind having nothing. They say, oh, waiting man no see before you understand, Waiting man no see. What is it that? Man has not seen before. Man can. Man can survive. Yeah, waiting Manosi before I. Mean we can. Stay anywhere we can live in one room. It's OK if only six people come. It doesn't matter where two or three are gathered in His name, He is there and we have 6 and we have 6. Where two or three are gathered, he is there. We are only. Six, we are 6, but where two or three are gathered. So I'm saying this because many of us are not changing from the public. Don't just come preaching all kinds of messages. But he said he came preaching, repent, change, make a change in your life. So don't just sit there and treat me as a celebrity. I'll be happy to say this type of way. I see you. I see. You no change, change. Don't say I see you. One day a man and his wife were being counselled. Pastor was talking to them. Pastor was talking and saying you have to change, you have to change. Then the boys suddenly shouted lifestyle change. Instead of changing, he was shouting to the air lifestyle change. So the person got angry said how can you tell this out? The lifestyle change Instead of changing, you just say. Lifestyle change. Tell somebody lifestyle change. Yeah. Change. Amen. All right, so I, I need to see. God needs to see changes. Oh yeah, the barrenness of doing nothing, you know, the barrenness of just being there where you are not doing much. Now go to Matthew chapter 3 verse one, two and say repenti for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand. Amen. Now. The next thing that. Jesus of God, the Baptist did was to preach about the Kingdom of God or to tell the people that the Kingdom of God has come. Somebody give me a bottle of water. Is that a water bottle? All right, so. The. Kingdom of heaven has come, Amen. Now when you come to the church, you must have a mind that the the Kingdom, you must have a mind that you've come to the Kingdom of the Lord. Amen. Now the Kingdom of God is. Different from the Kingdom of South Africa, things work differently in the Kingdom of God and you must adapt to the Kingdom principles. Thanks to Matthew 13. Those outside please. Come in, how was your breakfast? We are now going for breakfast soon as you are coming. Is it hot in the room or I'm imagining it getting warmer? Then when we when we take a break, everybody must go out. We must open the windows so that the place cools down and turn off the lights. All right. When it gets. Hot. Then we know that we have to. We have to take a break.
