03. God's Word for Direction

Welcome to track #3 of significance. Hallelujah. Deuteronomy 28. Now to be significant means what? To be significant means what? To be large or important enough to have an effect. To be insignificant means what? To be small and unimportant, such as so as to have no effect, forgive, to be not noticed, to not leave a mark on history. Not mentioned, not considered. Hallelujah. Amen. Now Israel was given this very key as a key to becoming significant because God Himself wanted them to be significant. Notice Deuteronomy chapter 28. It says, And it shall come to pass, that if thou shalt hacken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe, to do all his commandments, which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all the nations of the earth. Amen. Now the whole of Deuteronomy is a book that teaches the law and at the end of it, in this 28th chapter, these are the end of the instructions. God gives a final word and He says, if you will hack him, listen to the voice of the Lord your God, which? And that voice again is now showing you that the voice of God will be the voice of God, which makes you to observe and to do His commandments which He has already commanded. I understand. Then the Lord will do what? Set thee on high above all the nations of the earth. This Scripture is telling us what I have been saying in another way. In the same way actually, it's saying that there are 1000 nations, hundreds of nations, hundreds of pastors, hundreds of churches, but the Lord your God will set you on high above and separate and different from all the other nations of the earth. So in other words, there will be 100 pastors, 1000 pastors, million pastors, but God will separate you and make you different from all other pastors. How, how, how will he do it if you hack him diligently to the voice of the Lord your God? So we are seeing. From this that listening to the voice of God is crucial in becoming significant as it was for Abraham, for Isaac, for Jacob, for Noah and all these people were amongst others. Jacob was with his brother Esau. We never hear of God speaking to Esau. Isaac was with Ishmael, we never hear of him speaking to Ishmael. All the sons of Jacob were there, none of them became prominent or did anything. The only thing we know about Judah is that he suggested that they sell Joseph. The other thing we know about him was that he slept with somebody, a prostitute on the way, and then that's all Ruben. We know that he slept with his father's. Wife. I mean, that's the end. Naftali, gods, all of these guys, there's nothing. God didn't speak to any of them. None of them turn out to be particularly significant. So to become significant or important and large enough, God's voice must be a voice that you know and that you hear. Now, if God was here personally, he would have something to tell to all of us, I believe Hallelujah. And one of the things that I believe he would have to say to us is that the scriptures and the history books must be a foundation. When we have that foundation, we are ready to hear because the. Voice of God makes you to observe and to do the commandments of God. In other words, which? Commandment must be done now. Not that we are going to invent a new commandment. Are you listening to me? Because many people who claim to be hearing the voice of God are dangerous people. Is that not so? Yeah, I'm telling you, one of the most dangerous people sometimes you have are people who sometimes are always having dreams, visions, and every time they come up with something new. You know, the other day I was with one of our church members who were, we were just about to make him into a person and he came to me and said the Lord has spoken to him. I said, what has he said? So the Lord spoke to me yesterday that I should join Kenneth Coplan's ministry. So I said. He asked you yesterday to join Kenneth Coplan's ministry. So I said, oh, go ahead and join Kenneth Coplan's ministry. Where? Where do you, do you know him? Where do you know him from? You know, where are you going to? I said, oh, he, he wants to go. He wants to go and join Kenneth Coplan's ministry, you know, So after some time, I don't know whether he's changed his name or he's still in the church, you know, maybe God spoke again. And so it's like every, every few, every few, whatever. So from that time onwards, you get it. I mean, I'm not so sure of this guy. I mean, because we were just about to appoint him as a pastor. Even up till now, we have not made him a pastor. We're just about to make a But now you don't know whether he's in your church or he's not in your church. Huh. And we do. We are not so sure what God will say, supposing you are married to somebody and just suddenly the person cares. The God spoke to me yesterday that I married in the night. When I saw Jacob married in the night, I realized I've also married in the night. I didn't know who you were when I was married. So it's a mistake from the beginning. You see that what I'm trying to say is that the voice of God makes you to observe, read the verse, to observe, and to do all that I have commanded you to do here. If you are hack into the voice of God to observe and to do all that I have commanded you. To observe and to do all that I have commanded you, the voice of God. To observe and to do all that I have commanded you, the voice of God. To observe and to do all that I have commanded you, Everybody say the voice of God, to observe and to do all that I have commanded you. Hallelujah. Amen. So, ladies and gentlemen, I believe that the Word of God is a very, very important thing. Now why is the Word of God very important in tapping into the direction number one? Because the Word of God is a light. Light is what we use for direction. Amen. Hallelujah. Psalm 132, verse 17. The Bible says I have ordained a lamp for my anointed. There is a lamp for anointed people. Hallelujah. Psalm 119 verse 105 says Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. So when you say, when you put the word of God there, you are putting a light in your life. Hallelujah. If I hear a word. From the Lord, you see, the Lord can direct me and the Lord can tell me at different times, and I know that I'm not in error. For instance, one time the Lord said to me to sow a seed in a man of God's life. If you are working with God, it is something that will happen many times when God will lead you to plant a. Seed. And the. Light of the Word of God is there. Do you understand what I'm saying? The light of the Word of God is there. So it's not wrong. The light is showing you already that it is the right way. Are you listening to me? And I believe that all these things are important for you to become. What you are supposed to become? One of the significant things that I believe is for a pastor is to recognise who and how. You are supposed to follow do. You understand? Yeah, because we are all following someone. Even if we don't say we are following, we are following something. What do you think? Even if we don't agree that we are following, we are all following somebody or something. So one of the directions that you need as a spiritual person is to know who to follow. And if you are spiritual, you understand and you start to know the Word, God will speak to you to follow somebody and then He will lead you to. Minister to the person. Also in carnal things, Amen. Because it is a spiritual thing that leads to a spiritual height and a spiritual place. And I personally believe that some of us have never risen in God because we have never planted seeds in the lives of people whom God has used to bless us. So. We are deemed in the realm of the Spirit as ungrateful. We we, we as ungrateful trees, trees which bring forth no fruit. I think so, you see. And now I'm sharing with you from my own life. I'm sharing with with you from my own life. I think that one of the greatest privileges you can have, how many would agree with me? One of the greatest privileges you can have is if Jesus was here, Jesus Christ, to take all that you have in your house and go and give it to him. He's outside. How many would do that, huh? Would you do that with ease? You would give him your car, You would give him your life, and would it not be the greatest honor if he accepted it and he took it? At least you know that when he sees it he will, he will bless you or some something, even though he may not need it, isn't it? Yeah. You shall not see the Kingdom of God until you are able to say blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. In other words, until you can bless the one who comes in the name of the Lord or on behalf. Of the Lord until you are able to bless the one who comes on behalf of the Lord, you will never see the Kingdom, huh. It's not deep, it's shallow, it's right on the surface. You can see it straight away blessed is he who comes in the let me just share with you. You know, my own experiences, different people that I have had in my life, you know, and each time I am about to sow a seed into their lives, I received a major temptation. That is what has made me realize that it's a very spiritual thing, which is satanic in its nature. One of the first was with Papa Hagen. I was in Tulsa and I wanted to sow a seed. I just felt I should. That night he began to talk about his income and how much money he has earned from his books. So he said he has earned his tithes was so many millions. So I said ah if the tithe is 2 million, I started calculating the church but it was so fast I couldn't even do the calculation. But it was millions. He said this year alone I've paid tithes of so many $1,000,000. So I said. Hey. And here I'm coming from Ghana with my few dollars that I'm coming to give to this man. He does not need my money. So I went home. To the room. Then the Lord began to deal with me in my room by the morning and told me something. He said This man is because of this man you are anything at all. In fact, what even surprised me was when the Lord told me that even my financial state is because of Him. I was a bit surprised, but I've never linked my financial state to Kenneth and I've always linked my ministry to him, but not my financial. And the Lord told me that my financial state was because of the ministry that I had, and the ministry that I had was because of Him, so my financial state was because of Him. I was a bit surprised and then he began to rebuke me and talked to me about it. And I just didn't understand it. But I felt suddenly and somehow that there was a kind of contract that had taken place spiritually or exchange and for it to be fulfilled. Like the Bible? Says I have sown into you spiritual. Things. Is it any great thing for me to reap from you? Carnal things, you understand. It's almost like when you sow this, you're supposed to reap this. Then I began to weep because when he showed me, I felt so useless. I've, I've, I've cried like that just a few times in my life. Not many. I don't cry much. And I was weeping in my room, crying, crying. And I realized that my whole life in ministry was related to this particular person. And I felt that I put the offering and I went and I saw Kenneth Hagin Junior. I knew I couldn't see the old man. I saw him. I said, I want to give this to your daddy. And he gave. He said, sure, I'll give it to him. That evening he saw me. And he said, come, come with me to come and. Greet the old man so he dragged me into the. In that place, even that place that I went, I would never have seen such a place behind the stage. I didn't know there was a place there. When I went inside, the big shots of the ministry were all there. He was sitting there, big stomach. I shook his hand, very soft hand. I remember that handshake and I just went back. It was a very spiritual thing each time and I remember when I was in school. Bishop Duncan Williams, the Lord said to me, honor this man. And I'm just telling you what it's not. I'm not telling you what to do. I'm telling you what I have done. I'm telling you what I have experienced. I'm telling you things that I believe. You see, that's why I'm saying that we don't go high because we can't hear. And even when we hear, in fact, we can't hear such a thing because we don't read the Bible. Yeah, but if you read the Bible, it's all there. Let's go and see the prophets when they were going, Saul was so he said we cannot go just like that. Let us go and take something to give to the prophet. Elijah said, make something for me first. I'll eat. Then after that you can eat Galatians 6-7. We used that vest for cursive Malcolm X. When John F Kennedy died, they came and asked him any comment about when John Kennedy was killed. You know that. Vest, he said. He said the Holy Bible says. Whatsoever a man. Shows he shall reap. So John F Kennedy, the president of America, has reaped death because he is sowing death in different countries, fighting war and killing people. So that reaping has come back to America today. That's what he said. The American people were very bored with him. So people use that vest. Another man, somebody came to his house one day. There was a dog sacrifice at his door, a dog like a. A station or a mongrel? Sacrifice at the door when he came, he said. Oh. Then he lifted. Up his hand, he quoted Galatians himself. Whatsoever a man's source, may he reap it. The last day somebody died in the house, two people died. Then they came to beg the man please the dogs that we have sacrificed. Then we beg because we here you have. Released. Whatever tributes. So people use that vest for cursing people and correcting and fighting enemies. But that vest is from Galatians 66. Galatians 66 says that let the one who is taught. Communicate to the one who taught him in all spiritual and in all good things. Then he goes to seven. Then he says for whatsoever a man souls he Sharif. So that vest is forgiving to to the one who. Teaches you. The specificity of that vest, we have extrapolated it into other cases and other things. Yeah, we have made that vest, a vest of kissing and a vest of various things in life that is actually related to sowing to your teacher. And I'm telling you even this is what I'm saying, I didn't even know, but I just knew God had told me to do something. What I'm saying I didn't even know the basis and I. Remember, as a student, A. Student, either I was at Lagos or AG Motor School. I went to action way back when. His office was in the diplomatic shop and I walked upstairs. I said I wanted to see him and I sat in his office with him and he was sitting behind a big table and I sat as a student and I said God has asked me to honor you. And I brought my small envelope from my school days and I gave it to him. It was very small but I gave it to him. It reminds me of a day when a sudden sister in school, she went home and when she came, when she was coming, her mother gave her one tin of Milo and bread. She was from a very poor home, and when she came to school that time I was a pastor, a Bishop, whatever. She brought me the Milo and the bread. That is what she has and she gave me. I will never forget that particular thing because it was everything that she had. Yeah, I gave him this. And you see, God said to me that when? You do not. Do that? What what the person is or what the place you are supposed to have, you will never occupy that place. These are reasons why we don't become significant and different. We are just ordinary because when God speak to you like something special, maybe God speak to you. Go and give a car, go and do this. Go and give a house. Go and do. We can't receive God, so we can't become significant. I'm telling you the difference is not speaking. I said the difference recently when the when he was becoming an Archbishop, a Bishop, Nick, I was praying about some as a law. Should I argue. Then it was in the night and the Lord told me, he said you this man, he has been every everything you did, he was there and it was a similar thing to the Kennedy 1. He started to talk to me about it. Except when you were dedicated, when you were doing your sword cutting, he was the one who was there when they broke your walls. He was there. Whether he said what he wanted to say or he didn't want to say, he was there. And if I was in his shoes, I would probably have also said what he said or did what he did when I was launching my books. He was there when I was launching the book. Loyalty and disloyalty. He was there when I was doing what When my father died, he was the only pastor in this Ghana who was standing bare by the coffin with me. Every. Kind of event you have been there and the law said you must be there. Do what you have to do. I remember that night. Do you understand, and I'm saying something that a lot of people, you have various things God cannot tell you. You cannot tell because in your mind is the wickedness and the secular mentality of fighting and quarreling that you got from the world. And God cannot speak to you and make you a significant person. That's why you will stay as you are forever. I am telling you something, not something I'm telling you to do. I'm telling you what has happened to me. Oh yes. Oh yes, I, I will tell you another one. When Fred Price, Fred Price is somebody who, I mean, I learnt how to preach by watching Fred Price. In fact, one day my father came to the room and was watching. He said, you think you'll become a priest by watching videos, you know, but he was, he was telling the truth. I was becoming a priest by watching videos. I learned how to preach. I learned how to, I watch him, I watch him over and over. Then I heard he was coming to and in fact he was coming to my church. Then there were some politics about his coming. To my surprise, I was there. When I saw that he was going to another church, I said, oh, I didn't know. I thought he was coming to my church. Now it has been arranged for more than a year. We have been communicating, working. Then suddenly the hotel, I said. But so I didn't even bother to go. I didn't. And up till now, I don't even know exactly what happened, but I was there. Suddenly I had a call and I said Fred Price would like to have lunch with me, a private lunch with me. He said me, what does he know me for? When I was told that information, I said lunch with him. Who are these political pastors and so on. I'm not interested. I won't go. So I told him. I said OK, I won't go. I'm not coming. I can't go, I'm busy. Then suddenly the law said to me, this is your chance to sow a seed in the man's life, the man who you learn how to preach from. This is your turn. You are about to lose something. I call reverse. Like I said, I'm going for the lunch immediately. Yeah, not to eat with him, but it's my opportunity to sow. It's almost like it's a spiritual. I don't know what it is, but there's something. It's like a spiritual interaction and translation, and I realized I was about to be deprived each time. It's like there's something. Archbishop Vida Hosa, when he came to Ghana, three years, two weeks before he died, he was standing in Ghana. He went to three churches or 4 churches, Action, Christido, Tetes Church, Redemption Hour and Lighthouse. He came to our church for 5 minutes. And. God bless him. He came there. When he got into the church, he looked at the cathedral and said kneel down. I kneel down. I said kneel down, I kneel down. He poured oil on me and pray transformed me. I said my head began to burn. Yes, my head began to burn. Is it a special oil that they have that bends the head? No, no, I've been wondering whether it is something that or it was a what do you call those like fire on my head. I'll never forget on my stage, my chest said kneel down, kneel down. So the next day he was going to preach in action and I felt in my heart that lost it. So a seed in this man's life. He has so, so late. I've not been to his Bible school. I've never been to Benin, but he has laid hands on me. He has blessed me and I've been blessed indirectly through Bishopnay. So I took my seat in my envelope, organized it, and I was going. When I got there, there was a morning session. So I went to sit there and that time to newly become a Bishop. So I was wearing my collar, everything. And I was sitting there feeling very good on stage. When he saw me, he was giving an example. When he saw me, he said you come. In fact, I need a a, a a OK. Praise. Come let me. He said come. Oh, and I was with my. Bishop, whatever. Then he printed you do something, then kept up. Then I went to sit back again. Then he said come back, knock down, knock down. Oh, is it? You may not see. It but when you feel your head being pulled out like that, it's a very wild thing. So when he finished using me. I just kind of, it's like small, but it's like you are nothing. You are nothing. Nobody is anything. When you finish and I went to sit down, then I sat down. I was finished. So terrible. Then I looked straight. Who did I see looking at me? Bishop Nick. Bishop Nick, he was looking at that. He was feeling very bad about the way because there was something about it, which was it was like, no, no, there are nothing. So I was just looking at me and I just tear my eyes out. So I had my seed in my progress, this man. That's what I'm telling you, that each time something spiritual, I've seen that, let's say it's a spiritual thing. I'm telling you, I'm telling you it's a very spiritual event. Yeah. So in a seed, it's a spiritual event. So I look at it here and I said unforgiveness is a thief. Anytime you are hurt and those things, it's coming to take something from you. So I said I I will go. So I when he was staying at the Micklin Hotel or one of those hotel, I went to the back there. When I got to the hotels, nobody, I said I want to see Archbishop. He said he's upstairs. I went upstairs, I sat down. Then he came out and he sat by me talking. So one or two people came in and out. Then when there was nobody there, I said, Archbishop, I brought this for you. And he looked at it and he put his hand on me and prayed for me. I said when Archbishop Nick came, he told you, watch this young guy, you watch this guy, he's going to something, something positive. He said something for watch this guy. I was in my house 2 weeks later when Bishop Nick called me. He said the Archbishop has just died. I said what? Because I had. Planned to be in Benin that year in November because I had never been there. Later they were coming round for donations for the funeral. When they came to myself, I've made my donation long time ago. I finished not making any more donations. So what I'm trying, the point that I'm trying to make is that it's a spiritual thing, but because we don't know the scriptures and the word of God, these things look odd and you can't understand it when, because sometimes as a minister gets higher and higher, he's even more richer and blessed than you may be. But I see God is trying to make you significant and He's trying to lead you by His Spirit. And that's why I've given you all these illustrations and all these examples from my own. Personal experience that this thing is a spiritual thing and that is why Satan tries to slap us and discourage us and move us away from those because it is the spiritual thing with a lot of spiritual implications. So, ladies and. Gentlemen, I believe that one of the important things that you hear the voice of God and I believe that the first time that I went to Bishop Lease of when he was at the diplomatic shop upstairs behind that big table to say I have come to honour you. I believe I had started making a step on a road to becoming significant. I believe that, I believe that with all my hands, with my little, whatever I had, it was it was a step in a certain Rd. Yeah, and here I am today. It's sometimes even when he comes to account, I'm the only person that he will call. Do you understand? And here I am. Today I am today. At that time I was a student in school. I didn't even have a church. I'm explaining something. I say at that time I was a student in school. I did not even have a church. I was a member of a group. Yeah. And today? I'm a Bishop in this city, Yeah, with one of the largest churches and denominations and branches in different countries having crusade, mega crusades with thousands. Our crusade in Salt Farm, we had 9000 something. People gave their life to Christ in that crusade. Yeah. Most the whole town came to give their life to Christ. What do you think? It's a very good message. That's somebody you are hearing a good message. Yeah. Many people don't have. Spiritual guidance and they cannot hear, you see. But I'm saying that when you start to read history and start to read the Bible a time you can, when certain thoughts come to your mind, you know this is the Holy Spirit when you begin to be deep in the bag. Most. Of what people say God said to me is a thought that they've accepted that this particular thought is from the Holy Spirit. That's what if you want me to put it in plain words. Once I said God spoke to me, mostly it's they are thinking and they have selected one of the thoughts. They said this particular thought is God. How do you know? By faith. That's why I say even the Speaking of God. To you, it's in levels. Can God speak to your mind? He does turn to John chapter 16. Let me show you. John, chapter 14, verse 26. What does it say? Let's all read it together but the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you. He will teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, to your what? The Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit is speaking, He will bring certain things to your remembrance or your mind. It's an old word for your mind or your thinking so. Hearing from God involves getting to the point where you can say this particular thought that I have is a voice of God for me. Hallelujah. Yeah. And after this conference, you must begin to hear the voice of God. When you have certain thoughts, you know, this particular thought is the Spirit of God which has said something to me. Are you listening to me? Yeah. As you walk out of this place, tell yourself this thought so. So you may be sitting here and you have a thought which says to you, God wants me to come. To this conference, God wants me to go to this school or God wants me to do, you know, you begin to get to the point where you know, God said to you see, when, when, when you are like that, when you get to a point when that thought comes, you know, this one is not a natural thought. That is what I'm trying to take you towards, to a point where when the voice of the Spirit. Speaks to your mind. You will detect it immediately say this one is a voice to of the Spirit, this particular thought. You see all the thoughts that come to your mind. Some are from God when? Judah said sell him this way is the Lord. Who? Made him sell him because it was the plan of God. Later on, Joseph said God sent me here, God sent me. Not the devil, God sent me here. That's why a lot of things we have to know is God who is doing. God has brought me here, God has sent me here. God has done everything. God is the one who is doing it. Hallelujah. One day I was dealing with a particular pastor who was becoming rebellious or was rebellious. Then I was. Lying down on the bed. Then suddenly a voice you see and again it's just a thought, but it's the voice of God. When you get to know it, you know it. The voice said to me, but this one is my because there is a voice where the Holy Spirit speaks to your body or your mind in audio. You hear it like a voice outside in your ear. I've heard it before and God says something to me. Goes like a voice. Outside, but I'm not talking about that. And there's a time when God. Speaks to your inner man. That one is like a. Feeling or a knowing? But I'm talking about when he speaks to your mind. You have to get to the point where you'll be thinking when a certain talk is at this one. God has spoken to me. But you have to experiment, try with non dangerous. Things to see whether it is so. There are some things that are not dangerous. I mean, if the Lord doesn't sow a seed, I mean it's not dangerous if he says give your whole house and your everything, Brother, you need to be careful there. You need to experiment for some time till you are very sure this particular thing is the Lord, the voice of the Lord speaking. I see God speaking to you right now in Jesus name now I was. Lying on my bed thinking about this. Then suddenly a thought came and said Pastor so and so is a liar and I will show you 5 lies that he has told you. I said what? Then the then the lies came 1-2 They said this is a lie this is a lie this is a lie this is a lie. Then I got. Out of my bag, couldn't remember it again. Hey, I said what? So I got a pen and I said, man, it was like a flash. And I knew that the Lord had spoken to me, that this guy is a liar. And I tried, even I tried to remember what the fuck. This was a lie, this was a lie. This was a lie. This the guy is a liar because he was presenting himself as somebody was telling the truth, but he was actually alive. God was so revealing to me that this man was a liar. One night I was sitting in my room, I couldn't sleep and I was praying. Then suddenly the Lord said to me, tomorrow when you go to church, give an instruction like this and you will see. That's all. Just make a clear. Sound, He said to make a clear sound. So I sat there in the night when what is a clear sound? And it was like make a clear instruction and see the response to the instruction. So when I came to church the next morning, I called the pastors, 2 of them I said I've transferred you to this place and the other one said I've transferred you just to see what will happen. Yeah, just a lot said make it very clear and see what will happen. I said you I've transferred you here, you I've transferred you here. I have to listen to what they will say. The first one said that place, well, what? Anyway, I will go, it's fine. I believe I can go. The second one came and said, Oh yeah, that place. I've worked there before. When I worked at this place, I worked there. When I worked at this place, I worked there. I go. But there's something that I have to tell you. I said, what is this? So I've decided to resign. I said, oh, you've decided to resign. I see. Then we started a new route. That's when I saw that he was already out. And so the Lord have asked me that I should make that thing clear and see what will happen because I was the Lord was using that to extract the guy from the church. So after when his thing came out, I called the other guy. I said I'm not transferring you again. I've seen what I was looking for. Hallelujah, are you listening to me? But. What I'm trying to say is that a person who calls himself a pastor, God doesn't. Speak to you. Then you are just like a new Christian 1 unbeliever. Of your calling all you have is the Bible to read Bible study Bible study you learn about hope, you learn about love you learn about faith you learn about truth you learn about deception you learn about angels you learn about God you learn about heaven you learn about eternity you learn about sacrifice you learn about giving you learn about receiving but you don't have a specific way which is guiding you forward or into the next place of significance in life and. Ministry, are you listening to me? And I believe that is what is keeping us out of significance. One day I was reading a book like this and the person whose book I was reading, I saw myself as an equal or contemporary. I just felt that he had a lot of good. Books. So I was reading and I was really blessed by his book. Suddenly I heard the voice of the Lord telling me. Receive this man as a father from today. I was very, very surprised. I said father. And when you receive somebody as a father is different from when you receive him as a teacher. That's right. How? Come. You don't hear such things, It's because you are not becoming significant. Yeah. What do you think? Hello, are you there? I say, how come you don't hear such things as the person next to you? How come you, dear? It's like you are totally blank. Hallelujah. A voice that shows you this is the hour to obey this particular instruction. Now look, one day a pastor came from Nigeria and he said to me, I see that you have a church in Lagos. One day when he said I said, oh, I mean when people give me prophecies, what do I do? I was told by Uncle James, when somebody tells you something that you don't understand, put it in the wardrobe and close the wardrobe. Later on when you open the wardrobe, you may see it and understand it, but in the meantime, we put it in the so I've put it in the wardrobe. I had no plans of going anywhere. In fact, Ghanaian churches don't often go to start churches in other African countries. We usually start churches where Germany, London, New York, Canada, Amsterdam and so on. We have a lot of Ghanaians. Churches there, but usually we don't go to other African countries, so I, I. Also didn't have any plan. Then one day I was praying and the Lord said to me, and I'm saying the voice of the Spirit to your remembrance, to your what say your thinking box. Yeah. And you begin to know Gustav. Suddenly the Lord said to me, I'm sending you to Africa. I will never forget. It was just the day said I'm sending you to Africa. Now we had churches in London, New York, this one day like that. Either the next. Day or the very week, somebody came to me and said there is a man in Thakurade, he has been transferred to, he has been transferred to, what do you call it, Uganda. And he's not a Lighthouse. He's a Catholic. And he says that he likes Lighthouse. If Lighthouse wants to start a church in Uganda, he will help them to say the pastor can stay with him. I said, eh, that was the first African. And it came within about a week of when the Lord told me that thing. And from then doors began to open. South Africa, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Kenya. Ethiopia. Central Africa where Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gambia, Malawi, Zambia, we have churches in all these countries, churches with church buildings, members, Ethiopia, Zambia, Uganda, Kenya and I will never forget. I will have no mind of going to any African Canada. I'm sending you to Africa now. I remember the day. Oh. I tell you, I was at a camp recently, I was actually having a crusade and I was lying down on my bed in the hotel and the Lord said to me, now go to Ghana, Ghana, Ghana. I said Ghana. I'm the actual Ghana. You know, suddenly I arose and that's what I started, what I've called my new Ghana missions. And I started, I was looking for people because I was lying on a particular bed. When the Lord spoke to me, I was freezing on my bed like this. Freezing, as He was speaking to me, is to send the people to the towns of Ghana itself, send missionaries, send graduates, send doctors, send people, send them there. And start churches there. I started gardening. I said come, we are going to a new missionary field. I'm talking about becoming important enough to be mentioned and to have an effect. It comes by hearing him step by step by step by step, you will say, and the Lord appeared to Abraham, He said to him and the Lord. And usually it's the same thing over in different ways, in slight addition, slight modification. I mean if you are not. Interested in what I'm saying. You are probably not called. Yeah, that was. True. Honestly, if you are not interested in what I'm saying, you are probably not a called minister. Anybody who is called would be very interested in what I'm saying. And if God has called you to the ministry, you, you, you to be one of the most interesting things to hear. Reversaki, do you think so? Yeah. I can continue to remember times and places when God speaks to me, sometimes speaks to me about people you know. And different things sometimes about somebody and somebody's life and different things, you know. But you see, how is it that I don't have any vision or any dream? We must begin to pray for it. We must begin to ask. For it. We must begin to call on God and say, Lord, open my heart, open my spirit, open my eyes, open my heart so that I can now begin to receive from you and hear from you and begin to walk. I tell you, my brother and my sister pastors. Pastors, no matter which church you are in, no matter how secure and how much of a covering of a father you have and how stable you are, you must hear from God. God must speak. To you God speaks. He speaks. And he wants to have a relationship. And he will tell you about your work, about your life. He will speak. He is a speaker, I said. He is a speaker. What do you think? Yeah. How come you don't have? How come you don't know? How come you don't? Hear how come you have the Holy Spirit? Perhaps you don't have the Holy Spirit. Perhaps you are a pastor, but you don't have the Holy Spirit. Perhaps you speak in tongues, but you don't have the Holy Spirit. Perhaps it's time to have the presence of the Holy Spirit. One day I went to preach somewhere in another country. When we were coming back, the pastor was with me and one of my pastors was in the back of the car. And when we got home? My pastor said to me. He said, Hey Bishop. When we were coming back from this program, you didn't say anything. You're the man who invited me. He talked from the place all the way. So why didn't you talk? I said, oh, it's better for somebody else to talk because. When somebody else is talking, you benefit, but when you are talking, you don't benefit. Oh, you don't know that. You don't understand what I'm saying. Yeah, when somebody else is talking, Benedict. Now listen, when we go and pray, God is looking at us. If only I can get one sentence into to tell you. Just one sentence. I would like to just give you one sentence. But we believe that. For God. To go, to move, we must stand and shout at him for three hours. And God, as if I can just have one sentence to tell you that this can change your life more than you shouting at me for three hours. Who benefits? I say who benefits? The one who is talking does not benefit. It's the one who is listening who benefits. There is a time to talk to God, but there is a time, brother, He needs to speak to you so that you can hear just one sentence. One sentence. So when I. See people who like talking more than me, I allow them to talk and I sit down and relax and let them talk till we finish. What do you think? Is it a good idea? Amen. So I believe with all my heart that God wants to speak to us in visions and dreams. Now the lower your revelation, the lower your rank you see, the lower your revelation and your. Type. We're closing in 5 minutes. Miriam and Aaron speak against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married, for he had married an Ethiopian woman. And they said, Had the Lord indeed spoken only by Moses? Has he not spoken by us? And the Lord had it mercy. Now the man Moses was very meek above all the men that were upon the face of the earth. Let's fall. And the Lord speak suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam. Help me out here onto the Tabernacle of the congregation. And the three, the three came out, and the Lord came down in the pillar of cloud and stood in the door and called Aaron and Miriam and they both said, yeah, come. Come, come, come. Are you there? Everybody said come, come, two of you come here. And he said Here now my words, If there be a prophet, I, the Lord, will make myself known unto him in a vision, and I will speak unto him in a dream myself. And Moses is not so, who is faithful in all my heart. In other words, Moses is higher than a dream and a vision. May you be higher than dreams and visions. Hey, with Him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches. And the similitude of the Lord shall he behold. Wherefore then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses? And the anger of the Lord was kindled. Against them, and he departed. The three ways by which God speaks to lower ranks are dark speeches. Dreams and visions, dark speeches, dreams and visions. These are ordinary prophets. But when you go higher, he will speak to you mouth to mouth, and the similitude of the Lord shall you behold. Hey, so you can see in the Bible. When people had God appearing to them and speaking to them, they became very great. Now if you look at somebody like Joseph, he had two dreams, so he was slightly more. Important than his brothers by virtue of the two dreams that he had, but still he couldn't attain a certain prominence. Because the Lord himself never appeared to him and spoke to Him the way he spoke to Isaac, Jacob, Abraham, Noah, Adam, He couldn't attain that level. Are you listening to me? The dreams that he had could only take him to a certain level. So if we don't have the dream, then we are out. Cry. You become Naphtali, you become God and Zebulun and Issaca. I mean this type of guys. And when you have a dream, a prominent, important dream, you rise to the level of Joseph. Do you understand? But still you cannot attain the. That's why when Jacob died, his brothers were afraid. They said our father is dead. This man is coming to. Kill all of us because they knew he was not at that level. Wow. How many want to have higher ways of seeing God? Have you seen why I want to see Jesus personally? How many have realized that it's very important for us to see Jesus? How many want to see Jesus? Pray, because if Jesus is to appear to, it means I've moved to a certain. Rank. Sometimes I'm in my room that I look, it's not there. Every. Time in my room I'm looking to see. Rick Joyner. He said he was in his room in the middle of the night. If you read this book, The Torch and the Sword, and then he had Coco, Coco, Coco. The door opened and the Lord Jesus came to him. He was lying. Somebody who passed me, not objectors, because you said that. Were you not afraid? Somebody not through dark speeches and dreams and fishes. But it's like he came. So he did not know what is. And then the Lord, the Lord said to him, he said Bob Kane or somebody will explain to you this thing. And he walked out of there. A few days later this other pastor called you didn't tell him anything. He said, oh, the Lord visits you and impact to you 5 gifts, the five laying of hands 12345 each one was for something. And he told him he never told him anything. And you are sitting here. When you sleep with dream, you don't dream anything, just wake up. You are feeling hungry, you are going to eat, going to fight KK. Do you understand you are very different though? You are very. Very, very different. In fact, your life is so different. I mean, you are, you are so different and far from becoming the significant person that God has designed you to become. And that's why I'm saying that if you don't take anything away from this conference. Go home praying, Lord. Speak to me, Lord. I want to start to hear your voice, Lord, I want to listen, Lord. Speak, Lord, show me a dream, Show me a vision. Me I have come from a place of no dreams. Me. I was. Not a dreamer at all, no dreams. And I have pursued the Lord. He has still not appeared to me, but at least the dreams are now coming and visions mixing and some few dark speeches. A dark speech is a message you don't understand fully and you see a dream. Your interpretation is by faith. So when you see a black monkey coming and then somebody killed it and then this and that, what does it mean? Then you have to believe that this black monkey is my enemy who is going to die, or this black monkey is my mother-in-law. This black monkey is this only different thing? What is the black monkey? So you realize that there is a message, but it's not so clear. That's a dark speech. Joseph 2. Dreams elevated him slightly above his brothers, but not to the level of Abraham. He said, say you have to know how to handle the. Patriarchs. You have to know how to handle patriarchs. A patriarch is different from. These. You must not be ashamed because a dream you see it's dreams have been associated with people who we we in their beds when they sleep. Do you understand my message? There are some people when they sleep in the night, they urinate on themselves. Isn't it? And it's like, maybe they have a dream so they wee, wee on themselves. So sometimes dreams don't have a good reputation. It looks as though a dreamer is. And they said when they when they call, somebody calls you, oh, that dreamer is, is it not an insult? Usually it's like, oh, that dreamer. It's like a derogatory comment. Oh, that dreamer, you're always dreaming. It's almost like you have a wild imagination. You are the type who urinates in your bed. Maybe you are urinating in your bed up to from three or from 5. Forgive. But I want to say that shame, lessness is important in hearing from God. You have to be. You have to believe, You have to trust and base a lot of things on something that looks frivolous. To be able to say God spoke to me, to be able to say I had a dream and I I believe that this dream is and because of this, this and that and that. You must, you must not be ashamed. If you are ashamed, God will withdraw. If I know that you are ashamed of me, I'll say, brother, stay there and I'll stay here because you are ashamed of me. Are you ashamed? Are you ashamed of the gospel? Huh. No, don't be ashamed. You have to be. Bold. You have to be bold. One day a young man, he came to me. He said he believes he, he, he, he's supposed to be with me. He's supposed to be follow me. And I said, well, fine. If you believe, I believe. I went to preach in Mexico. Somebody came to me and she said I believe that. I want to be part of your ministry. I said if you believe that, I believe it too. I believe what you believe. I don't despise it. What you believe is what I believe. Don't be ashamed of your beliefs. Amen. Because sometimes it looks embarrassing to believe something. Sometimes it looks embarrassing for you to follow something when the thing looks embarrassing, it's like had a dream but the whole world is based on dream, just self survival and the nation is based on a dream. Jesus Christ was born my father, go here, dream, come here. An Angel appears in a dream says this and all my dreams how? How many are in a hurry to put your head down? So that should in case a dream appear. How many want a dream to appear? I want a dream. One day I had a dream that I I I went to La Palme Hotel. And I went to eat. And I was coming out and when I was coming out some a waiter chased me and when he came I thought I hadn't paid. And I tell, I said, oh, you need somebody said, oh. No, you've paid already. We are rather. Giving you something when I got up, the Lord said to me. What you thought you wouldn't get a reward for, he thought that you were rather going to lose more. I'm rather coming to give you something because I was surprised. Then I just got up. I said what is the meaning of this? Somebody is chasing me to give me something when I thought I was rather going to give something. And he said, no, no, no, we owe you. Take this and God said what you you rather thought you were coming to give more, lose more. There is a reward for something how many want to have. Do you believe such things? You normally say I have a dream and I don't believe. I believe this is a message to me. I believe this is a message. One day I was in a country, in a hotel and I was in a hall like this and suddenly I was in AI was in a hall and there there were bats flying here, so many that you can't see into just bats. And they were all staying at the same level flying. So when I saw them, I said, do I have a medicine for this? I'll kill all of them. So I went out and I got a spray spray. I was in Malawi when I had this vision. So I came into the room, see how they they spray in the aeroplane. I just walked. I started like in the dream. When I sprayed them, they all died. And they all fell to the ground, so I was very happy. So I just strap them together to heaps, then the next day or so I came to with a shovel to come and remove them when I. Hit the ground the dead bats which was flying that has fallen to the ground had turned into a little piglet, and now the whole floor was. Moving with piglets. And I said, hey, what is this? And the Lord told me said that the where the place that the enemy was attacking you, He has. Moved to another level to come from the ground ground level. The thing were animals. I tell you very when you see that. Have you seen a small pig like this size? Moving red a lot. Of them in there where you put the ground. All these places are pigs. So the Lord was showing me that the first medicine that I had, which I was using to kill certain things, I'm going to need another strategy to deal with the ones coming from under and from the ground. Yeah. Is that like something is good to come from the ground? Natural levels of attacks? What do you think? How many want visions and dreams? One day I found myself in a house. That one I sat in a chair and I had a vision and got up. Suddenly I wasn't sleeping. Suddenly I was outside in my house. And you know. What was in my house? A lion. A lion was now living in my house in the garden. So I when the walls were very high and I was I was moving around the house and I said, Hey, this lion is coming this way to come and get me. So I had to run this way. So when I was when I said I said, look, this one is going to a real light on that was coming to eat me. Then suddenly I saw my house helps door and I ran into the door and I closed the door and the lion was outside and I got up and the Lord said helps. Ministry, he's going to save you in the in the coming days. Helps help us will save you in the coming days, I say. Hey. So you'll be. There, so you don't have dreams and visions. What do you think? Yeah, if the Holy Spirit. Is on you. You must have visions, You must have dreams. God must speak to you, but you must not be ashamed. See what I'm sure I'm not ashamed of because they are all guidance, different little steps that I take guidance all the work that you do. Before you get. Within the most spectacular ones. And I'm praying for maybe tonight Jesus will appear to me. When I come tomorrow I can tell you, but if it comes tonight, I will not tell you tomorrow. One day, one day I. Will say one day I will tell this. But I believe one day I will preach and said the Lord, even if he doesn't come to appear to me whilst I'm alive, the scripture that I'm going to invoke is. Blessed are those that have not. Seen and yet believe. That's my last hope. Oh yeah, blessed are those that have not seen and yet believe. I will just use that scripture and escape. Yeah, stand to your feet again. Are you ashamed? Are you ashamed of dreaming? If they call you dreamer, will you be annoyed? Let your hand.
